    Opis:
    An experimental device and methodology for tire wear investigation are presented. An indirect method for wear evaluating is used. The experimental results in cases of straight motion with and without side slip are obtained. The distribution of wearing on tread pattern wide is evaluated in different running conditions.
    Передставлены экспериментальная установка и методика оценки износа шин. Использован косвенный метод оценки износа. Получены экспериментальные результаты при движении при наличии и отсутствии бокового увода. Сделана оценка неравномерности износа по ширине шины при разных условиях движения.

    Opis:
    On the basis of a known relationship, an enhanced model for specific tire wear per kilometer has been developed. It is appropriate for practical use - for evaluation of the influence of different factors. Two types of experiments have been carried out with a testing device - one without sideslip, but with a known longitudinal slip, and the other one with the same longitudinal slip but also with a known sideslip. As a result, the coefficients of the proportion of the developed model have been evaluated. After the model validation, an analytical investigation concerning the influence of tire pressure, sideslip and longitudinal slip on the tire wear has been carried out. The results are presented graphically.
    На основе известной зависимости разработана модель относительного износа шин в зависимости от пробега. Она подходящая для практического использования – оценки влияния разных факторов. Два типа эксперимента проведены с помощью испытательной установки – один без поперечного увода и с известным продольным скольжением, а другой с тем самым скольжением, но и с известным уводом. В результате получены коэффициенты пропорциональности модели. После проверки модели, проведено аналитическое исследование влияния давления в шине, увода и продольного скольжения на относительный износ шины. Приведены графические результаты.

    The main parameters describing the interaction between a tire and the road are forces transmitted by a tire. This paper presents experimental and theoretical research of mechanism of force transmission between a tire and slush-covered pavement. The experimental research was conducted in the internal drum test facility at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology in Germany. The theoretical research presents a mathematical model of the system “"sub-block–slush layer–drum” focusing on slush behavior. The model evaluates mass change velocity of slush layer, mass, and physical–mechanical properties of sub-block. Slush was analyzed as a multi-layer bulk. The obtained velocities of slush layers and friction forces from the model allowed us to determine the generated heat per time unit at each layer. It was found that the top layer of slush has the highest velocity and heat flow values compared to other layers.

    The paper applies to the issue of preservation of passenger vehicles during overcoming the roadblocks on a dry asphalt surface with the constant speed. The study aimed to estimate the forces which are affecting the suspension of the vehicle during the contact between a tyre and roadblock. Using the video recording it is possible to calculate the values of the tyre deflection and forces acting in the system. The obtained deflections of the tyres were compared to earlier laboratory test results and load deflection characteristics of the tyres with the same size. The roadblock with the defined geometry causes a dynamic deflection of the tyre. During the study a significant change in the geometry of the suspension has not occurred. The paper presents the characteristics of the vehicles research with a particular regard to model and type of tyres. The determination of the exact dimensions of the roadblocks and application of the ADIS16385 system for acquisition and archiving the features of the kinematic motion of the vehicle allowed to determine the speed at the moment of collision with the roadblock.
    Praca dotyczy problematyki zachowania pojazdów osobowych podczas pokonywania przeszkody stałej na suchej nawierzchni asfaltowej, z zadaną prędkością. Przeprowadzone badania miały na celu oszacowanie sił oddziałujących na zawieszenie pojazdu w momencie styku opony z przeszkodą. Wykorzystując nagranie wideo, możliwe były obliczenie proporcji ugięcia opony oraz teoretyczne wyznaczenie sił działających w układzie. Otrzymaną wartość ugięcia opony porównano z wcześniejszymi wynikami badań laboratoryjnych i charakterystykami obciążenie-ugięcie dla opon o tym samym rozmiarze. Przeszkoda o zdefiniowanej geometrii powodowała ugięcie dynamiczne opony. Podczas badań nie zaobserwowano istotnej zmiany geometrii zawieszenia. W artykule przedstawiono charakterystyki pojazdów badawczych, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem modeli i rodzaju/typu opon. Opisano dokładne wymiary przeszkody, a wykorzystany układ ADIS 16385 do akwizycji i archiwizacji cech kinematyczny ruchu pojazdu umożliwił określenie prędkości w chwili najechania na przeszkodę.

    Intensity and form of wear of tire′s tread depends on the technical state of assemblies of car suspension. The database according to the information of control of the height of the protector picture is forming. On its basis on the developed system of maintenance of tires setting of norms, prognostication and optimization of resource of tires is made, necessary repair influences of tires and assemblies of suspension are appointed.
    Интенсивность и форма износа протектора шин зависит от технического состояния функциональных узлов подвески автомобиля. По данным контроля высоты рисунка протектора формируется база данных. На ее основе по разработанной системе обслуживания шин производится нормирование, прогнозирование и оптимизация ресурса шин, назначаются необходимые ремонтные воздействия для шин и узлов подвески.

    The second part of the paper includes numerical tests verifying equations of motion of flexible bodies in absolute coordinates with rectangle and isosceles trapezoid finite elements. The equations are formulated in the first part of the paper. The verification is based on three types of problems: calculation of natural frequencies and modes, evaluation of buckling, and computation of large static and dynamic deflections of flexible bodies. Tests show good agreement with the theoretical results and the results obtained by other authors.

    Equations of motion of a finite element in absolute coordinates including mass matrix, generalized inertia and internal forces are derived. A trapezoidal element for dynamic models of flexible shells in the shape of surface of revolution is considered. The element can be used for modeling dynamics of automotive tire and air spring bellows and some other flexible elements of transport systems undergoing large elastic deflections.
