Opis:
In the coming years, the heating sector in Poland will undergo further changes as a result of the implementation of the country's energy policy within the European Union. Its main goals are: increasing energy efficiency, development of renewable energy sources and meeting legal and environmental requirements. Their implementation should take into account the observance of CSR principles in order to ensure a stable supply of heat to industrial and municipal consumers with high energy efficiency and limitation of the environmental impact. The article presents the conditions for the operation of the heating industry in Poland and CSR issues in heating companies. Particular attention was paid to the issue of energy poverty and its reduction. The application of social responsibility practices in heating industry on the basis of activities of selected enterprises in this sector was presented. The importance of social responsibility of heating companies in the implementation of a just energy transition in Poland was also indicated.

Opis:
District heating, which accounts for half of the EU's energy consumption, still relies heavily on fossil fuels. This causes emissions of dust and greenhouse gases and into the atmosphere and leads to negative climate changes. For this reason, European Union countries have been implementing a climate and energy policy for many years, which in the area of heating is aimed at making it more efficient and sustainable. This requires the introduction of low-carbon technologies and the reduction of fossil fuel consumption by increasing the share of renewable energy sources. Modern, efficient and smart heating systems should guarantee reliable heat supply while reducing the environmental impact. The article discusses the direction of change and development of district heating systems through the introduction of innovative technologies. The new generations of 4GDH and 5 GDH district heating systems are described and the benefits of their use are indicated. The concept of smart district heating networks, their structure and the advantages of their implementation are discussed. The possibilities of creating smart energy systems using renewable energy sources and heat storage technologies were also indicated. The activities of Polish district heating companies in the introduction of smart heat networks are presented, based on research conducted.

Opis:
In recent years heating in Poland has been transformed as a result of the priorities of the country's energy policy implemented within the European Union. The increase in energy security, the development of renewable energy sources and the fulfilment of legal and environmental requirements are very important. Exploitation of district heating systems should ensure reliable and safe heat supplies for industrial and municipal customers with high energy efficiency and reduction of environmental impact. The article discusses the conditions and directions of centralized heating systems development as well as technical and economic issues, which are important for the security of heat supply. The Author describes selected technological innovations used in the technical infrastructure for heat transfer and modern IT systems which are improving the management of heating systems. The article includes the results of simulation research with use of IT tools showing the impact of selected innovations on the improvement of network operation conditions. Directions of modernization of heating systems in the aspect of increasing energy efficiency and security of heat supply have also been indicted here.

Opis:
In 2015 the Agenda 2030 was introduced, framed of 17 sustainable development goals (SDG) with 169 targets, which were adopted by the United Nations Member States and should bring prosperity and growth to the global society. In this paper a focus is given to the SDG 12 Sustainable consumption and production from the e-mobility perspective. SDG 12 aims to ensure sustainable consumption and production (SCP) patterns – it is about promoting resource and energy efficiency, sustainable infrastructure, and providing access to basic services, green and decent jobs, and a better quality of life for all. Many stakeholders from public and private sector are investing a lot of effort to identify consumer behaviour for future improvements in development of their green products and strategies Because sustainable mobility and consequently low emission vehicles (LEV) are closely related with sustainable consumption within the personal mobility this paper focuses on consumer segmentation of potential LEV buyers and their willingness to buy LEV. Results have revealed that the segment of potential alternative fuel vehicles buyers is much larger than we initially anticipated. Such vehicles are, surprisingly, also more attractive for the older population, according to our results.
