    Opis:
    Artykuł prezentuje historyczno-antropologiczne spojrzenie na kobietę i jej seksualność. Obejmuje ponadto antyczne mity i kultury, średniowieczne wierzenia, aż do rewolucji seksualnej w XX w. oraz ruchów emancypacyjnych. Poruszono także wpływ transformacji ustrojowej na zmiany w sferze świadomości i zachowań ludzkich. Zmiany te dotyczą również współczesnej rodziny, jak i wypiętrzenia się zjawisk kwalifikowanych jako patologiczne i/lub dewiacyjne. Artykuł w szerszym kontekście porusza ponadto przemiany, które zaszły w dziedzinie obyczajów seksualnych pod wpływem procesów industrializacji, urbanizacji oraz przechodzenia od społeczeństwa tradycjonalnego do uprzemysłowionego. Ukazano ponadto formy uprawiania prostytucji w wymiarze socjohistorycznym.
    The article contains a historical – anthropological view of the woman and her sexuality. It also includes ancient myths and cultures, medieval beliefs, until the sexual revolution of the 20th century and emancipation movements. The impact of systemic transformation on changes in hu-man consciousness and behaviour was also addressed. These changes also apply to the modern family as well as the occurrence of phenomena classified as pathological and/or deviant. The article, in its broader con-text, also touches on the changes that have taken place in the field of sexual mores under the influence of industrialization, urbanization and the transition from traditional to industrialized society. In addition, forms of socio-existorical prostitution have been shown.

    Opis:
    Internally polarized counter-elites, that are often involved in corporate in-terests, do not have enough power to oppose the negative manifestations of economic transformation. In the countries of the South Caucasus, there are two types of business elites, the internal and the external ones, which „grew up” from the economic trans-formation. The external elites result from the privatization process, in which primarily Russians and Kazakhs are engaged. Concerning their interests in the region, they are lobbying the decision-making processes, while the local elites create the aforementioned mentioned „representative system”. The wealth fac-tor is therefore the way to exercise power. The research on business elites remains a discursive issue, which seems to be an endless subject to develop. Its analysis opens a broad discussion on the methodology of the study of elites, both in terms of their mechanisms and characteristics, as well as the theory itself.

    Opis:
    In the period after the death of Genghis Khan, Mongolia continued to rapidly ex-pand the Empire, also towards the east and the west, covering the great sites of the Chinese Song State. However, the Mongols were not able to keep power in the region, and after approx. 100 years, they were deprived of the land by consolidated movements, which were the basis of another Chinese ruling dynasty – Ming. During the reign of the Mongols in China, social and economic stagnation occurred, and the invaders’ activity resulted mainly in decreasing the manufacturing potential achieved by previous leaders of the Tang and Song dynasty. The Mongols developed international trade and allowed to occur other religions on the managed areas, so that the Chinese civilization advances could be taken over by the European civilization, contributing to development progress. However, the fall of the Yuan dynasty was only a matter of time. Internal conflict of interest between the Genghis dynasties, a huge area of the Empire and the variety of cultural and civilization of peoples residing within its borders contributed to tensions, exploding the creation of the Red Turbans. The nomadic culture of the Mongols was not able to adapt standards to enable management of the population, which adopted a settled lifestyle.
