Opis:
The paper presents result of theoretical analysis of the spatial dynamic performances for an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV). This drone is designed and produced by consortium consisted of The Air Force Institute of Technology, The Military University of Technology, The Warsaw University of Technology and The MSP enterprise. A plane JET-2 is the jet-powered airplane dedicated for Polish Military Forces. It will be used in the training process of anti-aircraft crews. Because of high level of requirements (maximum speed, stall speed, climb rate, range and endurance), it has been designed as the jet-powered aircraft. This plane will perform autonomous flights and therefore it should be stable in all phases of flight – static and dynamic stability is desirable. Therefore, the theoretical analysis focused on the stability performances have been performed, parallel to laboratory tests. They were done using nonlinear mathematical model of the JET-2. This model will be described in the paper as well as selected results of numerical simulations. The UAV JET-1 parameters and main parts of the system with the performances as the take-off mass 80 kg, the maximum speed 150 m/s, the endurance 60 min, the altitude 5000 m are presented in the paper.

Opis:
This paper shows results of numerical solutions a modified Reynolds equation for laminar unsteady oil flow in slide journal plane bearing gap. It shows a preliminary analysis of pressure distribution change in the bearing by laminar, unsteady lubrication caused by velocity perturbations of oil flow in the longitudinal direction of a bearing. Described effect can be used as an example of modelling the bearing friction node operations in reciprocating movement during exploitation of engines and machines. Plane crossbar journal bearing occur in ship combustion engine as a crosshead bearing. During modelling crossbar bearing operations in combustion engines, bearing movement perturbations from engine vertical vibrations causes velocity flow perturbations of lubricating oil on the bearing race and on the bearing slider in the longitudinal direction. Engine forced vertical vibrations frequency and crankshaft forced torsional vibrations is determined by shaft rotational speed, engine cylinder number and by engine type. This solution example applies to isothermal bearing model with infinity length. Lubricating oil used in this model has Newtonian properties and dynamic viscosity in dependence on pressure. Results are presented in the dimensionless hydrodynamicpressure diagrams.

Opis:
This paper presents the results of a study on the fatigue strength in pendulum bending natural and modified pinewood. The contents of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) were determined in wood-polymer for mechanical and rheological properties. The study of the bending fatigue strength and creep was realized on suitably prepared samples and research positions. Test results were documented in the form of charts and scraps. Differences in the decay of the natural and modified wood samples were observed after the attempt of the fatigue strength. The various mechanical properties of the sapwood, hardwood, and the polymer, influence on the stiffness of the individual components and consequently the whole composite. The process of fatigue degrades the structure of natural wood and wood polymer composite, the result is a gradual reduction of its stiffness. The Study of the creep behaviour was realized in stress in the sample of the level of 30% of the tensile strength. The samples were loaded longitudinally and transversely to the direction of the fibres. Significant differences of composite deformations were observed both as for the direction of the loaded fibres as well as the natural and modified wood. The character of changes in the fatigue strength and creep behaviour of the studied materials is implies to the influence of the polymer content on mechanical properties of modified wood. The tests carried out on account of the possibility of using wood polymer composite in sea constructions. Research carried out in connection with the possibility of the use of wood polymer composite marine construction. Modified wood can be used for keel blocks, decks, fender beam, bearings cantilevered shaft lines and the construction of yachts.

Opis:
This paper shows results of numerical solutions an modified Reynolds equations for laminar unsteady oil flow in slide journal bearing with planar linear gap. Discussed case of the solution to the Reynolds equation for the unsteady laminar Newtonian flow of lubricating factor allows initial estimation of hydrodynamic pressure distribution and its capacity as a basic operational parameter of the slide bearing. Unsteady axial velocity perturbation on the race surface and slide has influence on the hydrodynamic pressure distribution of the capacity of the lubricated gap. Pressure changes in the bearing are seasonal and equal to the lasting period of velocity perturbation. The level of changes and its nature depends on the kind of perturbation. This solution example applies to isothermal bearing model with infinity length. Lubricating oil used in this model has Newtonian properties and dynamic viscosity in dependence on pressure. Opis:
The shear strength of anisotropic materials is carried out on the special samples and on the appropriate instrumentation. Research conducted to obtain a homogenous state of the shear stress in the plane sample is difficult, and involve numerous occurrence of additional stress. Therefore, it is difficult to determine the shear strength. The wood composites are classified as orthotropic materials. In addition, are composed of the layers early wood and latewood. The layers have different thicknesses and exhibit different strength properties. The principal method for determining the shear stress is the trial of twisting of thin-walled tubes. Production of the pipe samples from the wood to determine the shear stress is impossible, due to annual rings. Beginning of destruction of samples under load was registered by a prototype device. This device makes the realization of plane state of stress in the sample possible. The position of the axis of the sample relative to the direction of the load can be varied. Such configuration axle of the sample to the loading direction, allows to perform, also stretching or compression besides to shear. The tests were performed for the natural wood and surface modified wood. The paper presents an original method and device designed to determine the shear strength of anisotropic materials on the example of natural wood and a surface modified wood.

Opis:
This paper contains results from practical test of airplane I - 23 Manager for loads during turnover. The measurements in separated points had been taken and compared with theoretical simulations, calculated in finite element method. The both results were identical only up to 50% of normal loads when using linear analysis. The factor safety for theoretical linear analysis and Hill's method was not true, because real body of airplane was broken before necessary load limit requirements by IKCSP. The linear method had been changed into geometrical non-linear method, because the latter more precisely showed deformations and strains, stresses in layers of all composite elements in the cab in the range of required loads. This article presents only the progress philosophy which showed most rational in respect of technical and economic point of view. The solution of design approach was reached with a method of following non-linear simulations which from formal was not here introduced. The finished construction was not presented because the relevant data is legally protected by Institute of Aeronautics.
Artykuł zawiera omówienie przebiegu próby statycznej samolotu I - 23 Manager podczas kapotażu.
