According to the ISO Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS), centred part alignment with one centred point can be described clearly using technical drawings. There are two main limitations of this standard; Firstly: the uncertainty over use of notations in technical drawings when more than one centred point is applied, and secondly, the use of fixed datum targets to centred points which causes an unstable alignment process. This article suggests a new approach for a functional, explicitly defined notation system of datums and datum systems based on the research of orientation constraints between datums. This new approach simplifies the technical drawing, thereby eliminating notation uncertainties. An improved methodology for a stable alignment process was developed based on physical analysis of the centred part alignment which implements movable datum targets.

According to the ISO Geometrical Product Specifications (GPS), if two or more specifications of the same characteristic are to be indicated, they may be combined as a composite tolerance. Therefore there are no definition differences between the single separate tolerance indicators and their composite tolerance, which is different from the ASME standards. Hereby, the definitions of the combined tolerance which specifies the additional location, orientation and form of tolerance zone are not explicitly defined in the current ISO. It restricts the required definitions of tolerance specifications of a component which are often utilized in practice. However, the required definitions cannot be notated in the technical drawings by using the ISO semantics, because the ISO definitions are insufficient. It causes definition gaps and misinterpretations. This paper focuses on developing the definitions of line profile composite tolerance and suggests a new approach for explicitly defined and function-oriented systematology of line profile composite tolerance. This research is based on the analysis of physical behaviour of geometric feature of a component on a theoretical level. Completed and enhanced definitions in an improved systematology for line profile composite tolerance is formulated which fills the definition gaps and eliminates the deficits in ISO GPS.

Opis:
Coloured PA6 luminous fibres were prepared by adding luminous material and inorganic pigments. The morphology and optical properties of the coloured PA6 luminous fibres were characterized. The results revealed that luminous materials were dispersed uniformly in the fibres without obvious agglomerates. The yellow inorganic pigment and luminous material might induce a reduction in the PA 6 fibre crystallization degree. The luminous fibres emitted long-lasting phosphorescence with an excitation peak at 360 nm and emission peak at 515 nm. However, the excitation spectrum of the PA6-Y exhibited three peaks. The decay curves revealed that the yellow inorganic pigment enhanced the brightness of PA6 luminous fibres. The PA 6 luminous fibres had low colour purities and a high colour rendering index. There was no obvious difference among the emissive colours of the luminous fibres, and the colours of luminous fibres were similar to those of the pigments added.
Barwione luminescencyjne włókna PA6 przygotowano przez dodanie materiałów luminescencyjnych i pigmentów nieorganicznych. Scharakteryzowano właściwości morfologiczne i optyczne barwionych luminescencyjnych włókien PA6. Wyniki wykazały, że materiały luminescencyjne były rozproszone równomiernie we włóknach bez widocznych aglomeratów. Żółte pigmenty nieorganiczne i materiał luminescencyjny mogą powodować obniżenie stopnia krystalizacji włókien PA6. Włókna luminescencyjne emitowały długotrwałą fosforescencję z pikiem drgań przy 360 nm. Krzywe zaniku wykazały, że żółty pigment nieorganiczny zwiększa jasność luminescencyjnych włókien PA6. Luminescencyjne włókna PA6 charakteryzowały się niską czystością kolorów i wysokim współczynnikiem oddawania barw. Nie stwierdzono żadnej różnicy pomiędzy kolorami emisji luminescencyjnych włókien; barwy luminescencyjnych włókien były podobne do barwy dodanych pigmentów.

Opis:
Intense marine reclamation activities bring obvious benefits, meanwhile, these activities also influence the coastal natural formation, hydrodynamic processes and water environment etc. In order to investigate the exact influence in the Qinzhou Bay brought by marine reclamation behaviors in recent years, based on the remote sensing image data in the Qinzhou Bay in 2006, 2008, 2009, 2012 and 2014, with the help of GIS and RS software, the thesis interprets Qinzhou Bay coastline and artificial reclamation by man-machine interaction and makes quantitative analysis in the Qinzhou Bay coast evolution recently. The results show: (1) Qinzhou Bay coastal morphology change degree was strong in 2006 - 2012 and the coastline changed greatly. Originally part of the natural shore segments which had twists and turns were gradually filled into artificial coast, the coast constantly advanced to the sea, coastline became regular and straight; (2) The change degree of coastline was relatively small in 2006-2008, the average artificial coastline increased 8.86 km/a, the average artificial reclamation area was 20.79 km2 /a; in 2008-2012, the change range of coastline was the greatest, coastline changed most severely, the average artificial coastline increased 16.07 km/a, the average artificial reclamation area was 58.52 km2 /a; however, in 2012-2014, coastline change degree relatively slowed, the average artificial coastline increased 4.04 km per year, the average artificial reclamation area was 3.464 km2 /a. (3) Compared to the studies of predecessors, the innovation of this paper is that it is the first to carry out the detailed research on coastline evolution caused by reclamation engineerings of the Qinzhou Bay, then formed the change results on coastline that caused by intense human activities in the Qinzhou Bay, provided the area of the marine environment protection with full and accurate data.

The kinetics of catalyzed urethane-forming reactions of hydroxyl-terminated polyether (HTPE) with toluene di-isocyanate (TDI) in the presence of bismuth complex catalysts was investigated by non-isothermal differential scanning calorimetry (DSC). Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR) was employed to monitor the chemical interactions of relevant groups. The kinetic parameters, including the apparent activation energy (Ea) and reaction rate constants (k) at typical temperatures calculated by the Kissinger and Crane methods, were used to evaluate the catalytic activities of triphenylbismuth (TPB) and tris(3-ethoxyphenyl)bismuthine (TEPB). The variations of Ea were studied to obtain an insight into the consistency of catalytic mechanism for the bismuth complex catalysts. The viscosity build-up of HTPE-based polymer bonded explosive (PBX) slurry was then measured to verify the catalytic activity and the pot-life during an actual manufacturing process, which fitted with the kinetics of the catalyzed cure reaction. The cure process was evaluated by the hardness of the PBX grains maintained at a temperature below typical manufacturing conditions. The results showed that TEPB is an effective catalyst, reducing the Ea of the cure reaction and the manufacturing temperature and time with an acceptable pot-life. The mechanical, thermal characteristics and compatibility of the HTPE-based PBXs were also investigated. The results suggest that TEPB is compatible with HTPE-based PBXs and contributes to improving the mechanical properties and thermal safety.

Propolis is a waxy substance produced by the honeybee that has been used as a form of traditional medicine and natural medicine since ancient times. Propolis has a wide spectrum of alleged applications, including potential anti-infection and anti-cancer effects. The following paper used a propolis extract containing 90% ethanol solution, 70% ethanol solution, ligarine, and dichloromethane as solvents that extracted the bioactive components. The highest yield of the propolis was obtained via the 70% ethanol leaching method and dichloromethane immersion stirring method. Fourier Transform Infrared (FTIR) analysis proved that the extracted propolis with dichloromethane had the highest methylene content and the maximum types of effective propolis components. A Propolis/PLA electrospinning solution was prepared by adding PLA powder into the supernatant of the dichloromethane-extract of propolis (DEP) directly, with there being no need for purification of the propolis extract and thus reducing the loss of active ingredients. DEP/PLA nanofiber was prepared via the electrospinning process, where it was found that with additional 4% PLA, the final electrospun fiber membrane was stabilised. tStudy of the antibacterial performance of the DEP/PLA electrospun membrane showed that the membrane affected some of the antibacterial properties. It was particularly effective when inhibiting Staphylococcus aureus, but not as effective when inhibiting Escherichia coli. This electrostatic spinning membrane could be used for food preservation, wound healing, and tissue engineering.
Propolis to woskowa substancja wytwarzana przez pszczołę miodną, która od starożytności była stosowana jako forma tradycyjnej medycyny i medycyny naturalnej. Propolis ma szerokie spektrum domniemanych zastosowań, w tym potencjalne działanie przeciwinfekcyjne i przeciwnowotworowe. W pracy użyto ekstraktu propolisu zawierającego 90% roztwór etanolu, 70% roztwór etanolu, ligarinę i dichlorometan jako rozpuszczalniki, które ekstrahowały składniki bioaktywne. Najwyższą wydajność propolisu uzyskano metodą wymywania 70% etanolu i metodą mieszania zanurzeniowego w dichlorometanie. Analiza w podczerwieni z transformacją Fouriera (FTIR) wykazała, że wyekstrahowany propolis z dichlorometanem miał najwyższą zawartość metylenu i dużą skuteczność. Roztwór propolis/PLA przygotowano przez dodanie proszku PLA bezpośrednio do ekstraktu z dichlorometanu propolisu (DEP), bez potrzeby oczyszczania, tym sposobem zmniejszono utraty składników aktywnych. Nanowłókno DEP/PLA zostało przygotowane w procesie elektroprzędzenia, w którym stwierdzono, że przy 4% PLA membrana z włókien elektroprzędzonych jest stabilna. Ocena skuteczności antybakteryjnej membrany DEP/PLA wykazała, że posiada ona właściwości przeciwbakteryjne. Stwierdzono zadowalającą skuteczność w hamowaniu Staphylococcus aureus, przy jednocześnie niższej skuteczności w hamowaniu Escherichia coli. Wytworzona membrana może być używana do konserwacji żywności, gojenia się ran i w inżynierii tkankowej.

In order to obtain the characteristics of magnetic core under ≈0.5-5 μs saturation time, a one-stage magnetic pulse compression circuit without external demagnetization circuits which are commonly used in magnetic compressors is designed. The current through the core is calculated by voltage across the resistive load, and the loop voltage is picked up with a single wire loop and integrated by software. B-H curves are derived from the measured voltage and current wave forms. B-H curves show that the core loss is in inverse proportion to the time to saturation, whereas the percentile core loss decreases as the charging energy increases. While the eddy current loss and dissipated energy are in direct proportion to dB/dt. The low inductance of magnetic switch indicates that the core is saturated and behaves as an air core. By applying custom characteristics to each stage in Pspice simulation, more practical energy transfer in magnetic pulse compression and the effects of leakage current are presented.

A better understanding of phosphorus distribution in slag is necessary to develop an effective way to treat dephosphorization slag formed during steelmaking. Here, previous studies on the enrichment, separation, and recovery of phosphorus from dephosphorization slag are reviewed, along with their influencing factors. The results suggest that a proper heat treatment can promote the selective enrichment and growth of P-rich phases. Further, adding P2O5 and FetO facilitates phosphorus enrichment. Also, Ca3(PO4)2 is precipitated from slag containing 18 wt% P2O5. MnO and MgO in the slag barely affect the phosphorus recovery. In contrast, the addition of Al2O3 and TiO2 significantly affects phosphorus enrichment and magnetic separation. A phosphorus recovery rate of more than 70% is achieved with the addition of 10 wt% Al2O3 or 10 wt% TiO2. New phases (Na2Ca4(PO4)2SiO4, Na3PO4, and Ca5(PO4)3F) tend to be formed on the addition of Na2O and CaF2, which promote phosphorus enrichment. However, the addition of Na2O and CaF2 results in the incomplete separation of phosphorus and iron, as CaF2 and Na2O improve slag metallization and the magnetism of iron-rich phases.

A multi-ship collision avoidance decision-making and path planning formulation is studied in a distributed way. This paper proposes a complete set of solutions for multi-ship collision avoidance in intelligent navigation, by using a top-to-bottom organization to structure the system. The system is designed with two layers: the collision avoidance decision-making and the path planning. Under the general requirements of the International Regulations for Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGs), the performance of distributed path planning decision-making for anti-collision is analyzed for both give-way and stand-on ships situations, including the emergency actions taken by the stand-on ship in case of the give-way ship’s fault of collision avoidance measures. The Artificial Potential Field method(APF) is used for the path planning in details. The developed APF method combined with the model of ship domain takes the target ships’ speed and course in-to account, so that it can judge the moving characteristics of obstacles more accurately. Simulation results indicate that the system proposed can work effectiveness.

The vibrational dynamics of water around glycine was investigated by using Raman spectroscopy and inelastic neutron scattering. Experiments of deuterated glycine versus deuterium were performed as comparison. The study shows that for glycine, the exchange of proton-deuteron on the active NH$\text{}_{3}^{+}$ side was easy, whereas there was hardly exchange on the CH$\text{}_{2}$ side. Comparing different proportion of glycine vs. water molecules we obtained that the presence of water hardly changes the main features of glycine illustrating its hydrophobic character. The intralayer hydrogen bonds of glycine crystal are difficult to be replaced due to its stronger bond than water.

Opis:
An ocean sparker with a stored energy of 20 kJ was developed for high resolution ocean seismic survey. The sparker is mainly composed of a high voltage high frequency charging supply, energy storage capacitors, a discharging switch and discharging electrodes. The H-bridge inverter and series resonant mode were adopted in the charging supply, and a dry high voltage transformer was used to improve the safety and maintenance, the average charging rate exceeded 4 kJ/s. An optical fiber connected between the high voltage system and the control system was used to isolate high voltage and transmit the high voltage signal. The high voltage electrodes of the discharging electrodes consisted of several hundreds of electrodes. The experimental results show that the sparker can be operated at repetition rates of 12 shots/min, and can meet the expected design requirements. Further field tests will be done in the near future.

Opis:
Novel lead and copper salts based on anthraquinone, including 1,8-dihydroxyanthraquinone,1,4,5,8-tetrahydroxyanthraquinone and 1,8-dihydroxy-4,5-dinitroanthraquinone, were prepared and characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR), elemental analysis (EA), and X-ray fluorescence (XRF). The catalytic effects of these compounds on the decomposition of nitrocellulose (NC) and on the combustion properties of double-base (DB) and composite modified double-base (CMDB) propellants were comprehensively investigated. The results demonstrated that the burning rate is significantly increased (by 200%) in the lower pressure range (2-6 MPa) as compared to the control systems without added anthraquinone-based salts. Concurrently, the pressure exponents (n) were obviously lower, exhibiting a “wide-range plateau” combustion phenomenon in the middle-pressure region. Specifically, for the DB propellants such a plateau region extended from 10 MPa to 16 MPa for n equal to 0.10, from 10 MPa to 18 MPa for n equal to 0.11 and from 8 MPa to 18 MPa when n is 0.05. In the case of RDX-CMDB propellants, the plateau was found to be in the range 6-18 MPa, with n in the range 0.16-0.27, depending on the type of catalyst, in contrast to the reference CMDB sample, which was characterized by n equal to 0.7 for the same pressure range.

A single/double harmonic, with wavelength λ of 1064/532 nm, Q-switched Nd:YAG laser is used to trigger the surface flashover. The synchronization problem is solved using a self-made digital delay/pulse generator. The delay time and jitter of Marx's trigger input and output, Marx's trigger output and Marx's output, laser input and output are respectively measured. Based on the result of the delay time and the timing sequence of the laser triggering system, the synchronization of laser pulse and voltage pulse is obtained through adjusting the channel delay time of digital delay/pulse generator. In addition, introductory experiment of laser-triggered surface flashover is carried out using the flat electrodes and columned insulators.
