Opis:
Opisano zastosowanie prezentowanych metod w wielorozdzielczej symulacji pola walki.
In the paper a review of models and methods for finding paths in multiresolution networks and their effectiveness analysis have been presented. One of the methods is based on merging the geographically adjacent nodes (squares) and the planning path to a "merged" graph. The merging is done by using geographically adjacent squares of primary graph (thus, we obtain nodes of a "merged" graph) and calculating costs in the "merged" graph as longest (or shortest) of the shortest paths between some subsets of nodes belonging to "merged" nodes. Second method is applied for planning multiresolution paths in roads network. Application of presented methods in multiresolution battlefield movement planning and simulation is discussed.

Opis:
Combined retrograde tracing and double-labelling immunofluorescence were used to investigate the distribution and chemical coding of neurons in testicular (TG) and aorticoerenal (ARG) ganglia supplying the urinary bladder trigone (UBT) in juvenile male pigs (n=4, 12 kg. of body weight). Retrograde fluorescent tracer Fast Blue (FB) was injected into the wall of the bladder trigone under pentobarbital anesthesia. After three weeks all the pigs were deeply anesthetized and transcardially perfused with 4% buffered paraformaldehyde. TG and ARG, were collected and processed for double-labelling immunofluorescence. The expression of tyrosine hydroxylase (TH) or dopamine beta-hydroxylase (DBH), neuropeptide Y (NPY), somatostatin (SOM), galanin (GAL), nitric oxide synthase (NOS) and vesicular acetylcholine transporter (VAChT) were investigated. The cryostat sections were examined with a Zeiss LSM 710 confocal microscope equipped with adequate filter blocks. The TG and ARG were found to contain many FB-positive neurons projecting to the UBT (UBT-PN). The UBT-PN were distributed in both TG and ARG. The majority of them were found in the right ganglia, mostly in TG. Immunohistochemistry disclosed that the vast majority of UBT-PN were noradrenergic (TH- and/or DBH-positive). Many noradrenergic neurons contained also immunoreactivity to NPY, SOM or GAL. Most of the UBT-PN were supplied with VAChT-, or NOS- IR (immunoreactive) varicose nerve fibres. This study has revealed a relatively large population of differently coded prevertebral neurons projecting to the porcine urinary bladder. As judged from their neurochemical organization these nerve cells constitute an important element of the complex neuro-endocrine system involved in the regulation of the porcine urogenital organ function.

Results of electron spin resonance studies of tellurium doped AlGaAs epilayers are presented. Results of detailed electron spin resonance (ESR) study of Te doped Al$\text{}_{x}$Ga$\text{}_{1-x}$As epilayers with x = 0.41, 0.42, and 0.5 Al fractions are presented. It is shown that the ESR signal observed critically depends on cooling steps and that the shallow donor ESR signal can be observed prior to illumination. The first ESR study of AlGaAs layers with removed GaAs substrate are presented. The mechanism of the enhanced photosensitivity of the ESR signal is explained. It is found very paradoxical that the ESR signals decreases upon the illumination even though shallow donor concentration is increased.

Origin of a fast component of the photoluminescence decay of Mn$\text{}^{2+}$ intra-shell $\text{}^{4}$T$\text{}_{1}$ → $\text{}^{6}$A$\text{}_{1}$ transition is discussed based on the results of photoluminescence, photoluminescence kinetics and optically detected magnetic resonance experiments performed for bulk ZnMnS samples with about 1% Mn fraction. It is demonstrated that a fast component of the photoluminescence decay, reported previously for quantum dot structure and related to quantum confinement effects, is also observed in bulk samples and is related by us to very efficient spin cross-relaxation effects.

Electrical and magnetic properties of ZnCoO thin films grown on silicon substrates by atomic layer deposition method are investigated. The films were grown using reactive organic precursors of zinc and cobalt. The use of these precursors allowed us the significant reduction of a growth temperature to 200°C and below, which proved to be very important for the growth of uniform films of ZnCoO. We have measured the microwave AC conductivity and EPR for two types of ZnCoO samples, with different Co fractions.

The direct evidence for the efficient transfer of excitons from 4 nm and 6 nm to 10 nm wide CdTe quantum wells is presented based on the results of photoluminescence and photoluminescence excitation investigation. Efficient transfer is observed for quantum wells separated by thick (50 nm) CdMnTe barriers containing 10% or 30% Mn fraction. A new mechanism of the transfer is proposed, which involves long range dynamic magnetic interactions between free/bound excitons and Mn ions in the CdMnTe barrier regions of the structure.

Opis:
Our studies focus on test structures for photovoltaic applications based on zinc oxide nanorods grown using a low-temperature hydrothermal method on a p-type silicon substrate. The nanorods were covered with silver nanoparticles of two diameters – 20–30 nm and 50–60 nm – using a sputtering method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) micrographs showed that the deposited nanoparticles had the same diameters. The densities of the nanorods were obtained by means of atomic force microscope (AFM) images. SEM images and Raman spectroscopy confirmed the hexagonal wurtzite structure of the nanorods. Photoluminescence measurements proved the good quality of the samples. Afterwards an atomic layer deposition (ALD) method was used to grow ZnO:Al (AZO) layer on top of the nanorods as a transparent electrode and ohmic Au contacts were deposited onto the silicon substrate. For the solar cells prepared in that manner the current-voltage (I-V) characteristics before and after the illumination were measured and their basic performance parameters were determined. It was found that the spectral characteristics of a quantum efficiency exhibit an increase for short wavelengths and this behavior has been linked with the plasmonic effect.

Magnetic, structural, and optical properties of ZnMnO films grown with atomic layer epitaxy are discussed. Atomic layer epitaxy films were grown at low temperature using organic zinc and manganese precursors. From magnetometry and electron spin resonance investigations we conclude that lowering of a growth temperature significantly limits formation of Mn precipitates and inclusions of different foreign phases of manganese oxides to ZnMnO host.

Based on the results of optically detected magnetic resonance and time-resolved investigations we relate the observed lifetime shortening of intra-shell Mn$\text{}^{2+}$ emission to spin dependent magnetic interactions between localized spins of Mn$\text{}^{2+}$ ions and spins/magnetic moments of free carriers. Optical and magnetic properties of ZnMnO films are discussed based on the results of cathodoluminescence, photoluminescence, and magneto-photoluminescence investigations. We show that photoluminescence/cathodoluminescence emissions are strongly quenched and become in-plane inhomogeneous in samples with increased Mn fractions. Strong polarization of photoluminescence is observed, even though excitonic lines do not shift and are not split at magnetic fields up to 6 T.
