Technical thinking has a conceptually-imaginative nature, and its development is possible when we provide innovative thinking and creative teachers, pay attention to the selection of appropriate tasks and practical actions.

The world of technology can be a tool to support development processes, primarily cognitive, emotional and motivational. Adoption issues shaping the image function in the technical thinking of students is justified in many ways: a – impact on the develop-ment of human image; b – multidimensional image and diversity of its media resourc-es; c – the influence of the image on shaping the attitudes and behaviors of education; d – state of research on the evolution of technical thinking of youth. Development of the technical thinking is one of the objectives in the process of technical education. A picture taking part in it by building concepts and technical imagination fulfilling a significant role in the illustration and understanding of issues and technical products and the specific technical action. Technical education requires from teachers to enter a wide range of activities in the teaching process in the direction of the effective appli-cation and the use of image in the development of technical thinking and imagination of students. Pictures have a prominent role here.

The COVID-19 pandemic has been an extraordinary event for the EU Member States and a period wherein EU legislation and the efficiency of EU institutions have been put to the test. The crisis triggered by the decisions made by governments in Europe (which were motivated by their wishes to protect the health and lives of their peoples and to satisfy the rapid demand for drugs, personal protective equipment, and medical devices) disrupted market forces. Although most of these measures were based on both domestic and EU legislation, they seriously hindered the smooth functioning of the EU Single Market, including the free movement of goods. This paper aims to find out whether EU legislation succeeded in coping with the challenges triggered by COVID-19 in the field of international trade and whether measures taken by the European Commission with a view to complying with the rules of the EU Single Market adequately took care of the needs stemming from the COVID-19 outbreak and whether it properly tackled protectionist instruments adopted by the Member States. We have focused on international trade and the free movement of goods within the EU as they both constitute the cornerstone of EU economic integration. We found that although EU legislation was not tailored specifically for the times of a COVID-19 pandemic, in the area of international trade (including intra-EU trade), as well as in the field of placing goods on the market, it provided extraordinary solutions. Apparently, the explanations and guidelines provided by the Commission have limited the scope of individual protectionist and interventionist actions of the Member States.

The efficiency of the aircraft exploitation process is a problem, to which more and more attention is paid not only in the commercial aviation, but also in the military one. One of the factors, which have a direct impact on its level, is the operated aircraft or helicopter technical readiness that is the ability of airworthiness when there is a need to use them in order to perform specific aviation tasks. In turn, the aircraft technical readiness level is affected by a number of factors, the most important of which include its characteristics, technical service system and logistical security system. This paper is devoted to the issue connected with the aircraft technical readiness assessment as well as identification of factors, which have an impact on its level, and also their impact level analysis. Furthermore, the particular attention was paid to technical services. The research results of a few types of aircraft in terms of the technical service malfunction and damage impact on their technical readiness level were also presented. At the end, the importance of such an approach and the possible use in practice were emphasised.

Considering the great social demand for qualified technically oriented workers, it is necessary to develop the interest in technical fields. The article introduces research focused on mapping the current situation of (non)interest of primary-school students in technical fields and especially verification of whether the (non)interest is linked to the popularity of technically oriented subjects at primary schools. Primary schools in the Czech Republic involve pupils at the age of 6–15. The reasons, why technically oriented subjects are not popular, will be evaluated to provide possible solutions.

The most important problem of operation of all technical objects (devices) is the problem of rational (optimum) decision control of the process of technical state changes of the objects. Such control can be realized when a model of the process of technical stale chanŹges is applied. In view of this, a formal description of the operational process of technical objects was presented in this paper, as well as it was justified that the model of the process may be a semi-Markovian process of finite set of states. Examples of 4-and 3-state semiŹ-Markovian process were given as a model of the above mentioned process of state chanŹges of any device. Difficulties associated with forming such model, which arise from application of the theory of semi-Markovian processes, were indicated. Therefore the proposed model is the semi-Markovian process whose values are technical states occurring in the phase of operation of many technical objects of practical importance (e.g. combustion piston engines, turbines, displacement and rotary compressors, impeller pumps etc).

In the process of developing innovative technical products it is difficult to constantly assess those products considering the factors influencing the possibility of their implementation into economy. The aim of the article is to propose the methodology to assess risk management during implementation of innovative technical products designed by both, research institutions and enterprises. The problems linked with the implementation of the products were identified. The author also identified key risk groups and undesirable situations. Moreover, the way to determine the probability of undesirable situations occurrence was indicated. The proposed methodology was verified based on more than 100 innovative technical products from Innovative Systems of Technical Support for Sustainable Development of Economy Strategic Research Programme. Strong and weak points of the methodology were identified. Among advantages, the possibility of assessing in different timeframes and applying homogeneous criteria of the assessment were pointed. The lack of possibility to obtain aggregated result and inability of full result objectivity due to the use of semi-quantitative method were recognized.

In this paper author introduces problem of the reduction of diagnostic information in evolution condition machine for estimating state prognosis algorithms which are the basis for determining conclusion rules for estimating the next machine operation term and for state genesis which is the basis for rules creating of machine state estimation in the past. Automation of the investigation system of the evolution of the technical systems machines condition in which diagnosing distinguishes itself of prognose of the state and the genesis of the state requires the qualifications of the gathering of diagnostic parameters describing the change of the condition of the machine during exploitation. The results of investigations connected with the implementation of the procedures of monitoring the technical machine engines condition and their investigation for the chosen arrangements of mechanical vehicles were introduced.

Podstawą organizacji diagnozowania stanów w obiekcie jest rozpoznanie aktualnego stanu obiektu. Wyznaczona w procesie diagnozowania informacja o stanie obiektu jest uogólnieniem zbioru stanów jego elementów składowych.
This paper describes an intelligent diagnostic subsystem of a technical object. A strong aspect of the article is presented in the model being alterations of the facility. The basis for the organization of diagnosis of conditions in the facility is the current status of the object. Determined in the process of diagnosing the information about the state of the object is a generalization of the set of all its components.

Súčasná moderná doba vyžaduje, aby sa v rámci vyučovacieho procesu využívali nielen klasické vyučovacie metódy, ale aj netradičné metódy, postupy a prostriedky, ktoré dokážu žiakov aktivizovať k samostatnej práci a k hľadaniu vhodných riešení problémov, zároveň podporujú rozvoj logického, analytického a tvorivého myslenia. Samostatná práca, ako edukačný prostriedok má výrazný vplyv na prejav a rozvoj ich aktivity, samostatnosti a tvorivosti. Je pravda, že samostatná práca ponúka žiakom rôzne možnosti, čo však neznamená, že každý žiak bude na dané ponuky reagovať rovnako podnetne. Pre pedagogickú prax to znamená nachádzať vzťahy medzi uplatnením samostatnej práce, štýlom učenia sa žiaka a na základe získaných skúseností určiť, resp. zhodnotiť pedagogické situácie, v ktorých bude pôsobiť, ako prostriedok rozvoja technického myslenia a technických schopností žiakov.
Contemporary modern times require that there are not only traditional teaching methods used within the educational process, but also non-traditional methods, procedures and instruments that can mobilize students to work independently and to seek appropriate solutions to problems while supporting the development of logical, analytical and creative thinking. Independent work as an educational resource has a significant effect on the expression and development of their activities, independence and creativity. It is true that independent work offers students a variety of options, but that does not mean that every student will respond to the educational stimuli as well as incen-tivized. For teaching practice, this means finding the relations between usage of independent work and student learning styles. And, based on experience gained, to determine (i.e. evaluate) educa-tional situations in which it will act as a means of developing the technical thinking and technical skills of students.

Technická neverbálna komunikácie predstavuje druh komunikácie medzi jednotlivcami pomocou grafických obrazov – technických výkresov. Pri ich tvorbe žiaci a aj učitelia musia dodržiavať základné pravidlá dané technickou normou. Úspešná technická grafická komunikácia závisí aj od zručností a vedomostí, ktoré si žiaci osvojili na vyučovacích hodinách geometrie. Porovnaním výsledkov testov zameraných na technickú grafickú komunikáciu s celoplošným testovaním Testovanie 9 – testovanie matematických kompetencií, sme zisťovali príčiny nízkej úspešnosti žiakov v sledovanej oblasti.
Technical nonverbal commucation represents a form of communication among individuals carried out by the means of graphic images – technical drawings. During the process of drawing both learners and teachers have to follow the basic rules given in the technical standards. Successful technical communication also depends upon the skills and knowledge the learners have acquired in the geometry class. By the means of comparison of the tests results focused on technical graphic communication in the framework of the blanket testing „Testing 9 – mathematical competences testing” we studied the reasons of the low success rate of the learners in the examined area.

Technical education allows teachers to provide a wide range of possibilities for the application of creative elements. Aby metody nauczania stymulujące rozwój postaw twórczych odniosły sukces, system edukacji musi być tak zaprojektowany, aby szeroko wspierał i wzmacniał kreatywnośc uczniów jako podstawowy cel edukacyjny.

Technical support and management over sales process in enterprise oriented on customer particular technical demands, require new approach in current economic environment. In the face of strong competition and tendency for costs reductions of offered technical solutions, especially with low materials value - the key task is reducing cost of technical support and sales service. It is possible by reduction of time spent by specialist working out typical, simple but time consuming the most popular queries from the customers. To this end, in existing enterprise proper project was undertaken aimed at developing a computer system integrating modules of technical knowledge data base of offered solutions as well sales and customer relationship management. The subject of the paper is the company information structure-oriented integrated system of conscious resource management. Prototype version of system was developed and is running, up to full operational stage of the system, information about exact worked solution are prohibited for publishing. Worked solution is unique on the market in the range of fixing systems what a reason to limit outgoing detailed information is. Achieved prototypes generates impressive output, with reduction of 70 [%] of time necessary to designs the same solutions with traditional tools. Quantity of mistakes on product list is almost gone, and quality of designed solutions also is significantly improved with very precise and detailed drawings. Initial results allow confirming that commence of this project it was right decision.
