Opis:
The study is research and development by utilizing the ex post facto approach. The research area is at the KM. Gunung Dempo. The research information was collected using a questionnaire method and then analyzed using evaluative analysis techniques via descriptive-quantitative analysis. This study is evaluative research with N-Gain. The data were collected through questionnaires and interviews. Valid data in the validity test results can be used for research. Two items of data were found to be invalid during the validity test. Result of N-Gain was 0.766 which was in high category, meaning that implementation of system model changed into suitable and powerful to enhance understanding. Result of t-test showed that t for statistical test was 93.398 with significance level = 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning that the model was effective. Drill Program implemented is in a good category. Correlation coefficient of pre-test and post-test was 0.878. Result of N-Gain was 0.766 which was in high category, meaning that implementation of Training application system version turned into top and powerful to enhance learning. Result of t-test showed that t for statistical test was 93.398 with significance level = 0.000 (p<0.05), meaning that the model was effective.

Wzrost bezpieczeństwa pracowników osiągany jest poprzez kształtowanie bezpiecznych postaw podczas szkoleń bhp. Znaczenie tych szkoleń jest nie do przecenienia. W rzeczywistości jednak szkolenia bhp w przedsiębiorstwach traktowane są często jako przykry obowiązek, co nie pozostaje bez wpływu na ich jakość i skuteczność. Niewłaściwy system szkoleń bhp przyczynia się do wysokiej liczby wypadków przy pracy i chorób zawodowych, a także nieodpowiednich warunków pracy i związanych z tym wysokich kosztów.
The increase of the safety of workers is achieved through the development of safe behavior during health and safety training. The importance of this training can not be overestimated. In reality, however, health and safety training are often regarded as a annoying duty, which has a significant impact on the quality and effectiveness of training. Improper safety training system contributes to the high number of accidents at work and occupational diseases, poor working conditions and causes high costs.

Opis:
Safety of crew, passengers, cargo and vessel is the most important aspect in terms of navigation. Boat Captain’s is responsible for the safety of vessel of less than 35GRT. The primary reason while MARINA conducting the MBSTC Training with Typhoon Awareness together with the ISCOF to be sure that they are enough knowledge in terms of safety at sea. Life is a very important to all of us that’s why the boat Captain must be aware about the safety of his crew, passengers, cargo and vessel. When disaster and emergency happen onboard you must know what to do. Based on this premise, the objective of this study is to train the Boat Captain and Motormen in Medical First Aid, Advanced Fire Fighting, Personal Survival Techniques and Collision Regulations. The study employed qualitative research using purposive sampling to gather the opinions and ideas of the respondents.

Opis:
Attention is drawn to the unsatisfactory state of health of Ukrainians against the background of low demographics, unfavorable socio-economic situation, pandemic of coronavirus COVID-19 and the consequences of hostilities. It is noted that this threatens the future of the Ukrainian nation. The urgency of the problem of poor health and high levels of injuries in general secondary education is emphasized. It is claimed that there is a relationship between the health of teachers and the health of students in general secondary education. Data on the unsatisfactory state of health of Ukrainian teachers are given. Based on the analysis of recent research and publications on this issue, it is concluded that modern teachers are not ready to create safe and healthy conditions during the educational process, that is their incompetence in the field of labor protection, based on misunderstanding of its social significance. It calls for integration into the European community, where the occupational safety training of future specialists is a priority, and the level of labor protection is identified with the level of development of the state. Based on the theoretical and methodological analysis of the research problem, it is noted that, despite the presence of certain developments, the social context of occupational training of future teachers is insufficiently covered. It is emphasized that the direct reflection of social demands and challenges are legislative documents. It was found that the need to strengthen measures to preserve the health of minors is stated in the leading documents of the international, national and sectoral levels. It is argued that social challenges and demands are reflected in scientific publications. It has been studied that leading scientists have an important role of general secondary education institution in creating a safe and healthy environment and the need for appropriate training of future teachers. It was found that, despite the provisions of leading documents and the beliefs of scientists, in practice, the loss of health by students of general secondary education is characterized by a tendency to deteriorate. This has prolonged catastrophic consequences, as applicants for general secondary education move into the category of workers in 1015 years. And workers are practically the only category of the population that fills the state budget, while other categories require public spending. Loss of health at the stage of general secondary education will inevitably have a negative impact on the further health and efficiency of workers. Accordingly, the state will suffer economic losses related to the payment of sick leaves, loss of working time, interruptions in production activities, medical expenses, etc. The conclusion is made about the importance and strategic nature of occupational training of future teachers in the context of ensuring sustainable development of society.
Звертається увага на незадовільний стан здоров’я українців на тлі низьких демографічних показників, несприятливої соціально-економічної ситуації, пандемії коронавірусу COVID-19 та наслідків воєнних дій. Зазначається, що це загрожує майбутньому української нації. Підкреслюється актуальність проблеми незадовільного стану здоров’я та високого рівня травматизму здобувачів загальної середньої освіти. Стверджується про взаємозалежність між здоров’ям вчителя та здоров’ям здобувачів загальної середньої освіти. Наводяться дані про незадовільний стан здоров’я українських учителів. На основі аналізу останніх досліджень та публікацій з означеної проблематики робиться висновок про неготовність сучасних учителів до створення безпечних і здоров’язберігальних умов під час освітнього процесу, тобто про їх некомпетентність в галузі охорони праці, першоосновою чого є нерозуміння її соціальної значущості. Апелюється до інтеграції в європейське співтовариство, де працеохоронна підготовка майбутніх фахівців має пріоритетне значення, а рівень охорони праці ототожнюється з рівнем розвитку держави. На основі теоретико-методологічного аналізу досліджуваної проблеми зазначається, що, не дивлячись на наявність певних напрацювань, соціальний контекст працеохоронної підготовки майбутніх учителів висвітлений недостатньо. Акцентується, що безпосереднім відображенням соціальних запитів і викликів є законодавчі документи. Виявлено, що необхідність посилення заходів щодо збереження здоров’я неповнолітніх декларована у провідних документах міжнародного, національного та галузевого рівнів. Стверджується, що соціальні виклики та запити знаходять відображення в наукових публікаціях. Досліджено, що провідними науковцями доводиться вагома роль закладу загальної середньої освіти у створенні безпечного та здоров’язберігального середовища й необхідність відповідної підготовки майбутніх учителів. Виявлено, що, не дивлячись на положення провідних документів та переконання науковців, на практиці втрата здоров’я здобувачами загальної середньої освіти характеризується тенденцією до стрімкого погіршення. Це має пролонговані катастрофічні наслідки, адже здобувачі загальної середньої освіти через 10–15 років переходять в категорію працівників. А працівники – це практично єдина категорія населення, що наповнює бюджет держави, в той час як інші категорії потребують державних видатків. Втрата здоров’я ще на етапі здобуття загальної середньої освіти неминуче негативно відбиватиметься на подальшому здоров’ї й ефективності трудової діяльності працівників. Відповідно, держава нестиме економічні збитки, пов’язані з оплатою лікарняних листів, втратою робочого часу, перервами у виробничій діяльності, видатками на медичне обслуговування тощо. На основі викладеного робиться висновок про значущість і стратегічність працеохоронної підготовки майбутніх учителів у контексті забезпечення сталого розвитку суспільства.

Opis:
This article presents topics concerning fire hazards during the use of low-speed diesel engines in marine vehicles. The causes and effects of fires in the spaces of scavenge air receivers in marine diesel engines are presented. Methods to prevent and fight these fires are shown, including the operating procedures required from ship engine room operators. The possibility of training personnel to apply the abovementioned procedures during operation using simulations of a Kongsberg MC-90 IVship engine room is presented. Simulations were conducted which included a fire in a scavenge air receiver occurring during the operation of a MAN B&W 5L90MC main engine, with loads corresponding to 50% and 100% of the machine’s recommended setting.

It is the basic requirement of maritime safety education to guarantee the safety of teaching operation while training the crew's occupation safety capability. Marine Training Center of Shanghai Maritime University has undertaken the practical teaching of "marine survival" for many years and come up with the whole safety procedures of training. Based on the requirements of SOLAS convention and regulations of STCW over crew training, this paper introduces the safety allocation, utilization and maintenance of teaching equipments. Through the investigation of the safety situation of students' practical operation, the safety teaching method named "four in one" has been put forward, which includes the pre-teaching safety precaution, the whole monitor during the teaching process, the post-teaching summary evaluation, and the reset and standby of teaching facilities. Finally, during the learning and training of "marine survival", crews and students are called on to place priority on personal safety rather than acquisition of knowledge and skills. Only in this way can they be capable of self-protection and protection of others in the career of seafaring.

Wstęp i cele: Szybki rozwój uprzemysłowionego świata oraz spowodowane nim gwałtowne zmiany społeczne wymuszają na dorosłym człowieku konieczność przystosowania się do nowej, zastanej sytuacji. Sposobów adaptacji do szybko i ciągle zmieniającej się rzeczywistości nie uczy, jak dotąd, szkoła. Tworzący się rynek pracy, nowe technologie, nowe zawody oraz związane z nimi zagrożenia a także bezrobocie powodują, że stopniowo wzrasta znaczenie kształcenia nieformalnego - pozaszkolnego, realizowanego w postaci kursów, szkoleń, seminariów. Materiał i metody: Materiałem są wybrane zagadnienia z literatury przedmiotu. Zastosowano metodę analizy teoretycznej. Wyniki: Wykazano, że celem szkoleń bhp jest przygotowanie pracownika do wykonywania swoich obowiązków, zapoznanie z przepisami, przede wszystkim zasadami bezpieczeństwa i higieny pracy w zakresie niezbędnym do wykonywania pracy w zakładzie i na określonym stanowisku pracy oraz - ze związanymi z pracą obowiązkami i odpowiedzialnością. Wniosek: Problematyka szkoleń zarówno z punktu widzenia teoretyków dydaktyki, jak i działalności praktycznej jest ze swojej natury interdyscyplinarna. Można ją umieścić na styku zarządzania, psychologii i pedagogiki. Z jednej strony obejmuje zagadnienia dotyczące nauczania osób dorosłych, psychologii uczenia się i psychologii funkcjonowania w grupie, z drugiej zaś szkolenie jest jednym z elementów zarządzania kapitałem ludzkim, należy więc do obszaru zarządzania organizacją.
Introduction and aim: Rapid growth of the industrial world and sudden social changes caused by it, are forcing adult people to adapt to the new situation. Methods of adaptation to this fast and constantly changing reality, is not taught at the school yet. The labor market, new technologies, new professions, and the associated risks and unemployment rate will gradually increase the importance of informal learning - extracurricular, realized in the form of courses, educational workshops, seminars. Material and methods: The material is selected issues from the literature. The method of theoretical analysis has been shown in the paper. Results: It has been shown that the aim of the safety training is to prepare the employee to perform his duties, familiar with the rules, especially rules of occupational health and safety to the extent necessary to perform work at the plant and on specific workplace and - with workrelated duties and responsibilities. Conclusion: The issue of training both from the point of view of theorists teaching and practical activity is by its nature interdisciplinary. It can be placed on the contact management, psychology and pedagogy. On the one hand, it covers issues relating to adult education, psychology of learning and functioning in a group, on the other hand training is one of the elements of human capital management, so be sure to the area of organization management.

Coraz większe przyzwyczajenie społeczeństwa do ciągłego podróżowania przyczynia się do dynamicznego rozwoju transportu kołowego, który powoduje negatywny wpływ na otoczenie w postaci hałasu, korków czy zanieczyszczenia środowiska. Dbanie o poprawę tych parametrów to często główne zadania inżynierów jeszcze na etapie projektowania pojazdów. Należy jednak pamiętać, że obok projektowania, nierozłącznym elementem jest także produkcja, gdzie obok zautomatyzowanych procesów ważnym czynnikiem jest również praca ludzka. Odpowiednie szkolenia pracowników nie tylko podwyższają ich kwalifikacje powodując wydajniejszą pracę, ale także mają ogromny wpływ na bezpieczeństwo człowieka podczas wytwarzania produktów. W ramach niniejszego artykułu skupiono się na zagadnieniach związanych z BHP. Przeanalizowano przyczyny powstawania zagrożeń i wypadków w oparciu o dane pozyskane z dużego zakładu produkcyjnego. Wyniki tego typu badań mogą być podstawą do ukierunkowania szkoleń BHP pracowników oraz wytyczną do przystosowania hal produkcyjnych do bezpiecznej pracy.
A growing societal dependence on continuous travel results in dynamic development of road transport, which adversely affects the environment in the form of noise, traffic jams and pollution. Reducing those unwanted effects is an important goal for engineering working on vehicles at the design stage. It has to be noted that designs need to be manufactured in factories, where human labor still needs to be employed, despite advances in production automation. Proper training and education of Staff not only increases their qualifications, improving productivity, but also has a significant effect on human safety during manufacturing processes. In this work, problems related to occupational health and safety (OHS) were described and investigated. Causes of hazards and accidents in the workplace were analyzed, basing on data obtained in a large manufacturing plant. The results of this research can be helpful in improving OHS training and education, resulting in improvement in work-place safety.

Maritime Safety and Security on board ships very much depends on well trained crews. That is why training and exercising emergency response procedures as well as efficiency in reliable management are extremely necessary. On the other hand research as well as technological development in safety and security, tools and other kinds of technical and organizational systems contribute to further improvement and guarantee high levels of safety and security in maritime transportation. Simulation facilities are essential for both exercising and training but also for research and technological development. This paper introduces the innovative concept of a safety and security training simulator (SST7) and describes research work related to the implementation of training scenarios. Selected results of a case study will be presented. A shorter version of this paper was originally presented at the International Conference on “Marine Navigation and Safety of Sea Transportation” at Gdynia in June 2013.

The presented changes in the screening training system are to help with understanding the principles of organizing an effective system of recruitment and selection of military pilots at present. It also indicates directions for improvement. The organization of initial flight screening contributes to improving the efficiency of flight training and can serve as a model for use by flight training systems in other countries. The purpose of the article is to diagnose and evaluate recruitment and selection of candidates for military pilots in Polish Armed Forces. The problem that the author addresses is expressed in the following question: in what directions should the current solutions in the selection and training of candidates for military pilots, be improved in order to reduce the attrition rate at subsequent stages of flight training in the future? The research has been conducted at the Military University of Aviation using case study methods. The theoretical research methods, such as analysis and synthesis of information contained in literature and source materials, conclusions and comparison were used to develop the article. In order to confirm the conclusions drawn with the use of theoretical methods, an empirical method was used, which consisted in examining the opinions with the use of expert interviews. Experts were selected from the group of commanders of training units and military pilots involved in selection training, who had an impact on the applicable aviation training and recruitment system in Polish Armed Forces. The results shows main directions of military pilots initial flight screening improvement.

The level of occupational health and safety is one of the determinants of the company's efficiency. The article assessed the quality of general initial training (general training) and initial training at the workplace (on-the-job training) carried out in selected business entities related to the hard coal mining industry. Problem included in the above trainings were interpreted as a criterion function within a multi-criteria analysis based on the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. Application of the AHP method allowed to perform a diagnostic (comparative) assessment of objects (business entities), both objects and accepted assessment criteria were compared in pairs with each other (the evaluator's preferences (subjectivity of assessments) are treated in the Analytic Hierarchy Process as a natural phenomenon).

In the modern world, the term ‘security’ is so widely used that adjectives must be used to describe the type of scientific considerations, e.g. ‘public security’. Safety is an indispensable element affecting the functioning of every human being. The number of threats in the modern world is so large that it is necessary to introduce new educational solutions for a wide range of entities in order to effectively oppose any behaviour that causes discomfort to citizens. The activity of police education for most readers is associated with the preparation of an officer for service on our streets. Nevertheless, the scope of activity of this type of facilities is much wider. The following article attempts to present several levels of activity that indirectly translate into public security. The training offer of police schools is addressed not only to police officers, but also to external entities that carry out tasks related to ensuring security and public order.

Flight training is occupied by many hours of theoretical and practical training. Polish universities offer the possibility of conducting the aforementioned training as part of academic training. A young aviation student, implementing himself in this process, takes on the burden of academic training and aviation training. The aviation environment is sensitive to safety issues. These include the occurrence of incidents, events, and aviation accidents. This issue arises directly from the possibility of endangering the health and lives of bystanders as well as aviation personnel and the damage or destruction of aviation equipment. In addition, there are issues related to the immobilization of airports, aviation organizations, excess repairs, or cases settled in court. Despite all the above, it should be mentioned that air transport is described as the safest means of transportation where – although incidents, events, or high-profile crashes are occasionally recorded. It is desirable for personnel to remain as focused as possible during aviation tasks. The multitude of tasks carried out by aviation students, combined with the burden of academic study, can carry a significant impact on maintaining concentration, lowering perception, or at least meticulousness. These topics correlate closely with the human factor. As a research problem, the submitted work was adopted to determine the impact of academic teaching load on the safety of aviation activities performed, in the context of aviation training provided at universities. The research included aviation mechanics and aircraft crews within its scope.
