Artykuł zawiera analizę porównawczą, która przedstawia możliwość zastosowania prostszego równania do obliczania współczynnika strat liniowych λ. Uproszczenie to polega na zamianie wzoru niejawnego jakim jest równanie Colebrooka-White’a na równanie mniej skomplikowane w obliczeniach. Artykuł przedstawia sześć równań, które mogą sprostać temu zadaniu.
The article contains a comparative analysis which shows the possibility of using simple equation to calculate the coefficient of linear losses λ. This simplification consisting of the replacement the discreet pattern, which is the Colebrook-White equation to equation less complicated calculations. The article presents six equations that can cope with this task.

Opis:
A contactless energy transmission system is essential to supply onboard systems of electromagnetically levitated vehicles without physical contact to the guide rail. One of the possibilities to realise a contactless power supply (CPS) is by integrating the primary actuator into the guide rail of an electromagnetic guiding system (MGS). The secondary actuator is mounted on the elevator car. During the energy transmission, load dependent non-linear losses occur in the guide rail. The additional losses, which are caused by the leakage flux penetrating into the guide rail, cannot be modelled using the classical approach of iron losses in the equivalent circuit of a transformer, which is a constant parallel resistance to the mutual inductance. This paper introduces an approach for modelling the load dependent non-linear losses occurring in the guide rail using additional variable discrete circuit elements.

In the circuits of electrical signals belonging to the L1-impulses space or periodic signals space, occurring there real distribution of electrical currents does not meet the principle of minimum energy losses [1, 2]. The solution to this problem is to introduce the control system as current-dependent voltage sources vector, entered into a meshes set of a complex RLC network. It has been shown that the control is energy-neutral (optimal control) [2]. For energy-optimal controlling, to obtain the control operator, the inversion of R(s) operator is required. It is the matrix operator and the dispersive operator (it depends on frequency). Inversion of such operators is inconvenient because it is algorithmically complicated. To avoid this, the operator R(s) is replaced by the R’ operator which is a matrix, but nondispersive one (does not depend on s). Such control is called the suboptimal control.

Opis:
Total Artificial Hearts (TAHs) are required for the therapy of terminal heart diseases as heart transplants are only a limited option due to the available number of donor hearts. For implantation TAHs have to meet constraints regarding its dimensions, weight, perfusions and electrical losses. An innovative linear driven TAH is presented, which meets all constraints except weight. Therefore the geometry of the linear drive is optimised to reduce its weights while simultaneously limiting the electrical losses as much as possible. In order to calculate the losses, this paper introduced a combined calculation chain consisting of FEM simulations and analytical equations. Based on this chain the linear drive is optmised by the method of parameter variations. The results yield a hierachic order of parameters which are most suitable for the weight reduction of the drive for low losses. By this the weight of the linear drive is reduced by 25%. As the allowable loss limit is not exceeded yet, room for further weight reduction achieved by an optimisation of the axial geomtry parameters is given.

In the paper are presented the diagrams of the structural energy efficiency of system with the throttling control assembly and total energy efficiency of the system with constant or variable capacity pump cooperating an overflow valve with the throttling control of the linear hydraulic motor. Diagrams of total energy efficiency of three hydraulic systems working at the same parameters of speed and load of hydraulic linear motor, which were different due to structure and ability of energy saving were presented and compared. This publication also presents analyses and compares the areas of the power fields of energy losses occurring in the elements of three compared hydraulic systems with different structures of the hydraulic linear motor speed control on example on Load Sensing system. The graphical interpretation of the power of losses in the hydrostatic drive and control system elements lets to compare the same power fields of energy losses with other power fields of another structure. This enables to understand what energy losses are the biggest and in which elements of compared hydraulic systems. The best possibility to use in system, as a supply source of the hydraulic cylinder speed series throttling control assembly, is a set consisting of a variable capacity pump cooperating with a Load Sensing (LS) regulator, which totally eliminates the structural volumetric losses in a system. Power ΔPstv of structural volumetric losses is equal to zero, because the current pump capacity QP is adjusted, by the LS regulator, to the current flow intensity QM set by the throttling assembly.

A control system with a proportional directional throttling control valve or a directional control servo valve, controlling a cylinder (linear hydraulic motor) is used in the ship steering gear drive, in the controllable pitch propeller control, in the variable capacity pump control system for hydraulic deck equipment motors or fixed pitch propellers in small ships (for example ferries). The hydraulic system is designed first of all taking into consideration the nominal parameters of the cylinder load and speed. For such parameters, the energy efficiency of the elements and complete system is described. Meanwhile the exploitation conditions can vary in full range changes of the cylinder load and speed coefficients. The article presents a comparison of the energy behaviour of two widespread structures of hydrostatic systems: a standard individual systems with a throttling steering fed by a constant capacity pump. Both hydraulic solutions are described and equations of the total efficiency η of the system are presented. Diagrams of energy efficiency of two hydraulic systems working at the same parameters of a speed and a load of hydraulic linear motor, which were different due to structure are presented and compared, as well ability of energy saving. This publication also presents analyses and compares the areas of the power fields of energy losses occurring in the elements of two hydraulic systems with different structures of the hydraulic linear motor speed control.

A control system with a proportional directional throttling control valve or a directional control servo valve, controlling a cylinder (linear hydraulic motor) is used in the ship steering gear drive, in the controllable pitch propeller control, in the variable capacity pump control system for hydraulic deck equipment motors or fixed pitch propellers in small ships (for example ferries). Energy savings in a constant capacity pump operation can be achieved by means of overflow valve controlled by the oil outlet pressure between the directional throttling control valve and the cylinder. Although structural volumetric losses cannot be eliminated in such a system, but it is possible to reduce considerably structural pressure losses, mechanical losses and volumetric losses in the pump, and mechanical losses in the cylinder too. The paper discusses these energy savings using an earlier developed by Paszota mathematical model of losses in elements, the energy efficiency of the system and the operating range of the cylinder. The paper also presents a comparison of the energy behavior of two widespread structures of hydrostatic systems: a standard individual systems with a throttling steering fed by a constant capacity pump. Both system solutions are described and equations of the total efficiency η of the system are presented.
