W artykule zostały opisane główne elementy informatycznego systemu wsparcia eksploatacji samolotów, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem roli funkcjonalnego modelu cyfrowego statku powietrznego oraz wpływu jego składników na jakość zarządzania flotą. Omówiono i zobrazowano: 1) budowę struktury funkcjonalnej statku powietrznego i programu obsług w systemie informatycznym wsparcia eksploatacji; 2) systemy informatyczne wspierające eksploatację wojskowych statków powietrznych. Wykazano, że przy właściwej spójności i kompletności danych w informatycznym systemie wsparcia uzyskujemy wyższą jakość eksploatacji statków powietrznych, w tym poprawia się zarządzanie całą flotą, jakość obsług technicznych i bezpieczeństwo realizacji zadań lotniczych.
The article describes the main elements of IT system supporting the maintenance of aircraft with special consideration of functional digital model of the aircraft and its components and influence on the quality of fleet management. Discussed and illustrated: 1) the construction of the functional structure of the aircraft and the maintenance program in the IT support system; 2) IT systems supporting the maintenance of military aircraft. It was shown that with proper coherence and completeness of data in the IT support system, we obtain a higher quality of aircraft maintenance, including improved management of the fleet, quality of technical services and safety of missions.

An excessively high level of information asymmetry between the supplier and the client occurring during the whole life cycle of an MIS is an important factor influencing the success of a project. The methods chosen to minimise information asymmetry in IT projects constitute an important research area which can impact their successful outcome. The aim of this article is to present research results on the use of Agile Methodology as a tool for minimising information asymmetry as part of an IT project completion consisting in a DMS system implementation with the use of outsourcing. The article may be interesting both for theoreticians of business informatics and for practitioners specializing in IT project implementation.

W artykule zostały opisane elementy zarządzania procesami eksploatacyjnymi z wykorzystaniem systemów informatycznych wsparcia eksploatacji statków powietrznych będących na wyposażeniu struktur realizujących i nadzorujących prace serwisowe na przykładzie samolotów F-16 i bezzałogowych statków powietrznych (BSP). W artykule zawarto przykłady wykorzystania systemów opracowanych w Instytucie Technicznym Wojsk Lotniczych, które zawierają cechy charakterystyczne uwzględniające specyfikę eksploatowanych statków powietrznych.
The article describes elements of the management of operational processes with the use of IT systems supporting the operation of aircraft taking of F-16's and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as examples. The systems are used by supervisors performing maintenance work. The article gives examples of systems developed in the Air Force Institute of Technology and include characteristic features and the specifications of operated aircraft.

The IT system market belongs to the group of markets characterised by imperfections in information access both amongst the suppliers and the recipients. Literature studies indicate a research gap concerning the phenomenon of information asymmetry between the supplier and the recipient in an IT project. My research thus far has indicated that an excessively high level of information asymmetry between the supplier and the recipient, occurring during the entire life cycle of a management support IT system, is an important factor, which has a key significance to the success of the project. The scope of this article is to present the results of research on the phenomenon of asymmetry in information access both amongst suppliers and recipients as part of a conducted case study.

Opis:
The paper presents the requirements, architecture and important features of a modern IT system of logistics for rail transport. The purpose of the system is to provide logistic support of transport issues relating to the work performed in the sectors of transport and maintenance of railway enterprises. In particular, special attention was paid to optimization problems of strategic and operational planning applying modern optimization algorithms. System architecture, the basic functional modules and their relationship are presented as an example of the system used by the Polish rail operators, engaged in the transport of both passenger and freight. The system is characterized by centralized architecture, divided into an application server, a database server and a terminals server. The system takes full advantage of modern mobile technologies. The study outlines basic logistics processes implemented in the system, among others,: planning of transport using background maps and a scheme of railway network, records of vehicles and employees, allocation of transport work for individual units, planning cycles of vehicles and trains, scheduling work for vehicles, train driver crews and train attendant teams, creating work schedules, short-term and long-term dispatches, verification and accounting of the work time, accounting transport and train drivers performance.

On the basis of the conducted investigations and analysis of the hard coal quality assurance process, it has been found that new IT tools need to be introduced to support the process. The study presents a system developed by the authors, which has been implemented in hard coal mines to support product quality improvement.
Na podstawie przeprowadzonych badań i analizy procesu zapewnienia jakości węgla kamiennego stwierdzono, że muszą być wprowadzone nowe rozwiązania wspierające ten proces. W pracy przedstawiono system opracowany przez autorów, który został wprowadzony w kopalniach węgla kamiennego do wspierania poprawy jakości produktu.

Artykuł zawiera opis ważniejszych rozwiązań metodycznych (szkoły amerykańskiej, europejskiej i polskiej) zastosowanych do budowy informatycznego systemu wspomagania decyzji oraz autorskie rozwiązania z zakresu integracji tych metod. W pracy weryfikuje się pogląd, że budowa systemu informatycznego wspomagania decyzji, oparta na wykorzystaniu architektury budowy zadań WPL, dobrze systematyzuje zasoby danych i ułatwia wszechstronniejsze korzystanie z tych zasobów przez inne zinformatyzowane metody i techniki wspomagania decyzji.
The article includes a description of major methodological solutions (of the American, European and Polish schools) applied for construction of the IT decision support system (DSS) and the authors’ solutions in the field of these methods integration. In their study, the authors verify the view that construction of the IT decision support system, based on the use of the architecture of construction of tasks of the multi-criterial linear optimisation (WPL), well systemises stocks of data and facilitates a comprehensive use of those stocks by other IT-based methods and techniques of decision-making support.
Статья содержит описание важнейших методических решений (американской, европейской и польской школ), примененных для построения инфрматической системы поддержки принятия решений, а также авторские решения из области интеграции этих методов. В работе проверяется мнение, что построение информатической системы поддержки принятия решений, основанное на использовании архитектуры построения заданий многокритериальной линейной оптимизации, хорошо систематизирует наборы данных и облегчает более всестороннее пользование этими наборами другими информатизированными методами и техниками поддержки принятия решений.

The article presents a computer-aided tool for quality management support, on the example of a farm involved in breeding cattle. The motivation for a tool to support farm management was the need to standardize the documentation including different types of records, discrepancies and to facilitate the archiving process. The project was developed in an Excel spreadsheet, with the principle of the most user-friendly interface between the user and the used support tool. The advantage of the project is the possibility to use it analogically in other farming industries, and the possibility of tool expansion, possible by adding modules depending on particular requirements of the farmer. The main reason to address the issue presented in the article is the lack of applicable IT solutions that would support farmers in farm management, and the willingness to show that a huge step may be done easily, as regards improvement in work, raising its quality and time-saving

The paper presents the concepts and implementation of application for monitoring, analysis and reporting of enterprise information systems security. The Maritime Safety Committee (MSC) at its 81st session decided to include, in the work programmes of the NAV and COMSAR Sub-Committees, a high priority item on "Development of an e–navigation strategy”. E-navigation is meant to integrate existing and new electronic navigational tools (ship and shore based) into one comprehensive system that will contribute to enhanced navigational safety and security while reducing the workload of the mariner (navigator). This paper describes present IT created to support navigational and administrative activities related to vessel movement and cargo transhipment. Direction of development of existing systems is drafted with reference to E-Navigation concept. Information sets available for the vessel in Polish Sea Areas are grouped.

An information model has been carried out, with the help of which it is possible to implement methods that ensure the growth of competitiveness of IT companies. Growth conditions for companies provide mergers and acquisitions (M&A). The analysis of the data obtained as a result of the P&L financial report is mainly based on current indicators and can be partially used to prolong economic indicators for a certain (most often limited) period. The authors propose using methods for assessing stochastic indicators of IT development processes based on the solution of a number of problems: (1) Development of models to assess the impact of indicators in the analysis of the financial condition of companies; (2) Creation of an information model and methods for processing current stochastic data and assessing the probability of the implementation of negative and positive outcomes.

Złożoność, wieloetapowość oraz niejednorodność przedsięwzięć inżynieryjnych wiąże się z trudnościami w doborze narzędzi informatycznych, umożliwiających ich racjonalne wspomaganie. Brak zgodności informacyjnej i funkcjonalnej poszczególnych aplikacji, wykorzystywanych do wspomagania kolejnych etapów złożonego przedsięwzięcia sprawia, że spójna realizacja takiego procesu jest albo znacznie utrudniona, albo wręcz niemożliwa. Istotna zatem wydaje się próba dokonania oceny możliwości wykorzystania do tego celu zintegrowanych aplikacji o charakterze hybrydowym. Wykorzystywane są one z powodzeniem do wspomagania złożonych, niejednorodnych przedsięwzięć o charakterze biznesowym, a ich specyfika i znaczny zakres potencjalnych zastosowań umożliwia ich wykorzystanie również w zakresie problemów inżynieryjnych, oferując przy tym spójność informacyjną i funkcjonalną całego przedsięwzięcia.
Engineering tasks, such as the ones presented in the article related to civil engineering, examined in the informational and decision-making context, are frequently complex, multi-stage and heterogeneous in nature. This leads to difficulties when selecting IT tools that enable their support. No informational or functional conformity of particular applications used to support the subsequent stages of a complex task makes the coherent realisation of such a process considerably harder or even impossible. Support of numerous homogenous engineering tasks is provided with the use of technologies that have been adopted from other management areas, mainly dedicated to business operations. This is what one should also do with complex and heterogeneous engineering problems. It seems rational that integrated applications that allow one to both solve algorithmic problems and heuristic ones should be employed. Integrated hybrid systems ensure continuity of support for complex, multi-stage engineering problems, at the same time offering informational and functional coherence of the whole task.

The paper analyses a number of advanced mobile information technologies in the sphere of tourism. A large volume of information has been processed to determine the main areas of development and improvement of tourism mobile information technologies. Mobile information technologies are built both for tourists and for travel agencies. In this paper, information technologies for individual tourists are laid stress on. These are tourist program guides, augmented reality tourist information systems, gamification traveling systems, tourist location based systems and others. The paper offers description of the available mobile software for trip planning and information support of tourists during a trip. It consists of two chapters: the current studies and existing mobile program algorithmic tools. According to the research outcomes, the authors propose to build a new information system for tourists Mobile Tourist Information Assistant. A set of functional features of this system as an integrated information system relying on mobile applications is proposed. The main principle of the system is EVERYTHING, HERE AND NOW.
