Opis:
Solidarity together with civil society, tolerance, democracy, the rule of law, prosperity and peace is one of the principles of the European axiological system. They serve the basic European values constituting the human subject. They are dignity as a fundamental value along with subsidiary values: brotherhood, equality, freedom as well as life and health. The main thesis of the article is the claim that abandoning the implementation of the principle of solidarity in European space will inevitably lead to the reactivation of ideologically hypostasized constructs, which will result in the replacement of dignity by one of the abstractions (state, nation, God etc.), which in a straight line may lead to a situation in which Europeans lived in most of the 20th century.

Głównym zadaniem, jakie stawia sobie autor tekstu, jest pokazanie, że równie ważnym aspektem twórczości filozoficznej Dąmbskiej jest refleksja aksjologiczna.
The presented article is the attempt to grasp axiological trains in the works of Izydora Dąmbska. The principal topics of interests of Izydora Dąmbska who was one of the most outstanding representatives of the philosophical Lvov-Warsaw School concentrated on the problems belonging to epistemology and methodology. The main goal of this article is to show that axiological reflexion is as important part of Dąmbska’s philosophy as the mentioned above.

Opis:
The article presents selected issues regarding axiological education at Polish lessons in IV–VIII grades of primary school. Such education is related to both the way students communicate with the world of values, and evaluation processes which are ingrained in works of literature and various cultural texts, as well as the matters regarding proper understanding of linguistic phenomena overned by expression of axiological content. Lessons at school should include axiological communication based mainly on a dialogue between the teacher and students, which facilitates mutual stimulation of both in the atmosphere of freedom, respect, tolerance and kindness. The article highlights the issue of patriotism, which is important in terms of culture and society, and at the same time essential in terms of educational aims. Patriotism and its different faces were described as part of modern multiculturalism, which demands tolerant behaviour towards “aliens”. Nowadays, we can notice the need to combine patriotic tradition with the new model of patriotism that opens itself to European and global values.

Every professionally managed project is performed accordingly to precise defined principles, methods and a plan. As well, IT projects, which are major business ventures globally these days, are governed with similar approach. Defining objectives and project framework, selecting resources, drafting schedules are a fundamental skills, which can be taught at every basic business course. It seems to be that it is enough to acquire appropriate knowledge in area of project management to be successful IT manager in spite of the size and the type of the venture. Still, only 16% ERP projects are successful, 84% projects do not meet deadlines and business goals and 78% projects overrun budgets. By paradox, to solve above presented business, economic problem it is necessary to address it by developing axiological research. It is based on the principle that empathy is the third perspective that is build in to the well know Game Theory model which consists of two perspectives: trust and loyalty (Deutsch). In this case, in the process of selecting an appropriate type of the game, between a customer and a vendor, we have to base on a better understanding of needs and axiological profiles on both sites. In other words, if the business goal of the partner is better defined and understood and if it is assumed that the success of one site depends on the other, the final effect, by definition, is almost guaranteed. To achieved that, it is a must for every IT manager to work on developing, the so called business empathy instead of just useless promoting the assertive business philosophy.

Author analyses six selected comic books from popular series „Tytus, Romek & Atomek” by Henryk Jerzy Chmielewski, using unique communicativistic theory discovered by G. Habrajska and A. Awdiejew. She’s searching some verbal and non-verbal determinants, which are typical for the publicistic style (persuasion closed in words, persuasion extracted from words, self-contained persuasion). The effect of this research is a fact, that the comics by Chmielewski (primary classified as an artictic style) – has its characteristic persuasive purpose, through using all the elements of the publicistic discourse. According to that, the main purpose of the comics was: to indoctrinate young readers as the responsible participants of the community in Polish People’s Republic.

The derivative theory of interpretation of law assumes the rationality of the lawmaker according to which the lawmaker is guided in their work by a coherent, hierarchical and relatively stable system of values comprising three categories: legally binding, reference values and universal values. In order to adequately reconstruct the legally binding category, the directives of the axiological interpretation are used. Thus, each word and phrase of every text of a normative act, including the Polish Constitution, can be assigned a function of the carrier of legal values provided that they meet the conditions imposed on them by the appropriate interpretation directives.

Globalization as both a social and a historical phenomenon is undoubtedly manifested as one of the determinants of the axiological crisis. The positive and negative consequences of globalization in the axiological realm certainly exist, and reflection on them and their connection with the education of modern man is needed. Knowledge of values must be one of the foundations of education for the members of modern globalizing societies. The acquisition of the axiological competence by the student is, however, multi-step. Different stages of education, for various reasons, are sometimes too short. The student may feel alienated and treated objectively. To effect this can be to take away from certain values such as constancy, sense of security, sense of community and others. These are typical threats in globalizing societies, which must be countered. Education plays an indispensable positive role in defining what, on the basis of what values, shape the future of humanity and the world that it creates.

Based on a sample of comments gleaned from the Onet.pl portal, the author discusses positive and negative evaluations (axiological charge) found in internet language, and she examines some of the language devices used in such evaluations. In internet comments, it is definitely negative evaluation that prevails, and the positive evaluation of a single object creates only a background for a negative object. Samples which encode aggression and insults can also be found in the data. In the material under inspection, Internet users mploy all sorts of language devices used in an evaluative function; most of them are illustrative of economic, social and ethical values. Along with these values, emotions are also frequently expressed. Internet users resort to all sorts of language devices to signal evaluative functions, a number of them are marked and illustrate a colloquial style.

The article constitutes an attempt to reconstruct presuppositions of respect for axiological foundations present in communications sent in legal language and understood at the directive level. The analysis focuses on the presuppositions which originate in the sphere of religion and relationships between communities of believers and the sovereign, who is the sender in the communication process. Juxtaposing communications sent in Polish and Russian legal language related to the constitution allows one to distinguish and name the presuppositions in question. Moreover, this makes it possible to address communication difficulties in translation which result from differences in the occurrence of presuppositions, differences which have impact on extensions of legal terms in these languages.

There is mutual recursive feedback between the decision of a subject and the environment, where the action of making a decision is autonomously changing both the environment (as the result of this decision) and the creators themselves of this action. Every new decision is based on the past experiences of an individual, and by this on his developed cognitive system and axiological structure. While making a decision an individual refers to this axiological structure, which sometimes overweighs a rational evaluation of a given problematic situation. This particularly occurs when decisions concern a social sphere and when the consequences of our actions are entangled with another human being – the problem of subjective feelings and of a individual assigning meanings to particular elements in the process of this recognisable situation will depend on this interior internalised axiological structure. Therefore the imperfection of mathematical algorithms applied in the decision-making process results from the fact that a perception of a reality by human beings is always incomplete and subjective, because it is entangled in a man’s internalised unrepeatable system of cultural and individual values.

The author touches on the question of presence of an evaluative element in the realizations of verbs вадеть / widzieć (‘to see’) on the basis of lexicographical material. The analysis shows that apart from evaluating of the visual perception as value in itself in the context of important life functions, the verbs вадеть / widzieć (‘to see’) create a base for evaluative expressions in relation to other elements of reality, clearly emphasizing the priority of the visual perception in the linguistic world’s image.

The article compares/contrasts the syntactic and semantic features of language aphorisms in Russian and Slovak. The Russian and Slovak language aphorisms have a priori axiological modality and are capable of referemental use, as potential acts of motivation and acts of affirmation. The expediency of this analysis is due to the fact that the illocutionary force has national and cultural specifics, which is manifested at all levels of language, speech and discourse. The object of the article is Russian and Slovak proverbs, sayings and winged expressions, in which the value bases of interpersonal speech communication are focused. A group of examples of the greatest illocutionary force is given, i.e. speech acts of prompting, then affirmative speech acts, as well as speech acts of inducement and affirmations that acquire additional illocutionary power. The taxonomy of the illocutionary force contained in Russian and Slovak folk aphorisms takes the following outlines: a) the most illocutionary power is speech acts of motivation, in which proverbs are used; b) affirmative speech and behavioral acts, which are evaluative aphorisms, have the status of passing thoughts with a light touch of lax edification, warning, or wish, and therefore, their illocutionary force is less pronounced; c) speech acts of inducement and affirmation acquire additional illocutionary force if the proverbs used in them retain the connotation of an authoritative original source. In the last part of the text, conclusions of the presented issue are drawn.

In the education of social workers, it is particularly important to seek working methods that provide to experience values which define the foundations of professional action. The authors of the article approve the personalistic philosophy as a theoretical basis of educational work, the practice of which is based on the cooperation of academic staff and students, striving for partnership, open dialogue and experiencing personal subjectivity. Nevertheless, the essence of the issue is to search for the content of education, which refers not only to contemporary social issues, but also to their historical conditions and correlates. The context for the article is a reflection on the history of 20th century eugenics, with particular emphasis on the extermination of nearly a quarter of a million people with mental illness and disabilities performed by the German Nazi. It is difficult, without studying the times in which the history derailed, to fully understand the social responsibility of people who are particularly vulnerable and exposed to social non-recognition and damage. The curriculum of social workers’ education at the Institute of Sociology of the Jagiellonian University in Krakow has included the space of the Clinical Hospital in Krakow's Kobierzyn, where, in cooperation with the Institute of Therapy and Social Education - the Association, an educational project under the name of Axiological Walk in Kobierzyn is being implemented. The article is based on reflection on axiological education in the light of evaluation of the aforementioned project.
