Główną inspiracją do napisania niniejszego artykułu była koncepcja władzy-wiedzy Michela Foucaulta, teoria reprodukcji Pierre’a Bourdieu oraz koncepcja modernizacji refleksyjnej Ulricha Becka. Celem autorów jest analiza podstawowych pojęć oraz idei związanych z liberalnym dyskursem dotyczącym edukacji oraz reprodukcji wiedzy w społeczeństwie ponowoczesnym, odznaczającym się globalizacją wiedzy, a zarazem prywatyzacją mechanizmów poznawczych. Autorzy stawiają tezę, że wyżej wymienione procesy wiążą się w ramach odgórnego i wszechogarniającego imperatywu samorealizacji i racjonalności jednostkowej, który pozwala na przenikanie logiki zarządzania rynkiem na poziom mikromechanizmów reprodukcji podmiotowości. Rezultatem tego procesu są zmiany zachodzące we współczesnych programach edukacyjnych Unii Europejskiej i OECD. Tym samym współczesna polityka edukacyjna staje się narzędziem swoistej liberalnej polityki poznania opartej na idei rational actor, zaś system edukacji reprodukuje strukturalne urynkowienie społeczeństwa.
The main inspiration for for this paper came from Michel Foucaulfs concept of power/knowledge, Pierre Bourdieu’s theory of reproduction and the Ulrich Beck’s concept of reflexive modernisation. Authors aim to analyse the basie notions and ideas associated with the liberał discourse on education and knowledge reproduction in the post-modern society, characterised by globalisation of knowledge and privatisation of cognitive mechanisms. The authors posit that those processes are interrelated within the top-down, omnipresent imperative of individual self-fulfilment and rationality, which allows the market- oriented governance logie to permeate the micromechanisms of the reproduction of selfhood. As a result, we witness changes in contemporary educational curricula in the EU and OECD. Therefore, the modern education policy becomes a tool of a liberał cognition policy based on the idea of a rational actor, whereas the education system reproduces the structural marketisation of the society,

Opis:
The paper is about the idea of establishment of road safety education center to improve road users behavior, which is in line with the National Road Safety Policy till 2020 of government of Poland. Through this center various educational activities, programs, European Union projects for road safety were launched since 2003. The authors have introduced those programs, showing their effectiveness as well have mentioned about future plan for expansion to achieve Vision Zero. The paper presents modern and effective approach to education today by setting up designed science centrums. The idea of implementing new technologies, innovative tools, laboratories, workshops in the long-lasting process of education to road safety hazards for main risk factors will improve road users behavior for reducing high number of road injuries and fatalities. It is important work from injury prevention point of view especially because the Poland government’ s interest in road safety. This center can be a model of innovative road traffic education for other countries.
Artykuł przedstawia ideę utworzenia centrum edukacyjnego w zakresie poprawy bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego, zgodną z polityką państwa przyjętą w Narodowym Programie Bezpieczeństwa Ruchu Drogowego 2020. Realizowane edukacyjne programy i inicjatywy, europejskie projekty od 2003 r. są przedstawione w artykule, a ich efektywność wpływa na osiągnięcie Wizji Zero. Artykuł przedstawia nowoczesne i efektywne podejście do edukacji przez tworzenie centrów nauki. Zaangażowanie nowoczesnych technologii, innowacyjnych urządzeń, warsztatów i zajęć laboratoryjnych w długotrwały proces edukacji dotyczącej najważniejszych problemów bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego wpłynie na zmianę zachowań uczestników ruchu i zmniejszenie wysokiej liczby ofiar śmiertelnych i poszkodowanych wypadków drogowych. To ważny projekt z punktu widzenia prewencji oraz zainteresowania polskiego rządu problematyką bezpieczeństwa ruchu drogowego. Opisany model może być przykładem realizacji nowoczesnej edukacji w ramach BRD dla innych krajów.

The article is devoted to the 5th anniversary of the electronic version of the Encyclopedia of Modern Ukraine (EMU) on the Internet (website: esu.com.ua). The study reveals the functions performed by the EMU can be better implemented due to its online version. These include accumulating of nationally relevant knowledge (about Ukraine, Ukrainians, Ukrainian phenomena and realities) and disseminating it in society, playing an important educational role, fostering patriotic feelings among Ukrainians based of this knowledge, understanding of national ideas, self-identifying, etc. The EMU website has high traffic, search engine positioning (Google), therefore, provides access to encyclopedic knowledge of a much larger audience than a printed version of this encyclopedia. The disadvantages of the online version of ESU are also highlighted. First of all, the words in the text are shortened like in paper encyclopedias, which have a reason to save space on the pages. There is also no English section. Today, English-language versions of the articles would contribute to destruct the stereotypes about Ukraine, its people, language, culture, history, etc., formed by the Soviet picture of the world (Pax Sovietica) as well as supported and deepened by followers of the Russian world (Pax Russica).
Статтю присвячено 5-й річниці електронної версії «Енциклопедії Сучасної України», представленій в мережі Інтернет (сайт esu.com.ua). Показано функції, покладені на ЕСУ, зокрема акумулювати національно релевантні знання (про Україну, українців, українство) й поширювати їх у суспільстві, відігравати важливу просвітницьку роль, виховуючи на основі цих знань патріотичні почуття в українців, розуміння національної ідеї, самоідентичності тощо. Наголошено, що функції ЕСУ будуть краще реалізовані завдяки саме появі її онлайн-версії. Веб-сайт ЕСУ має високі показники відвідуваності, позиціювання в пошукових системах (Google), забезпечує доступ до енциклопедичних знань значно ширшої аудиторії, ніж видрукуваний наклад томів. Окреслено й недоліки онлайн-версії ЕСУ, зокрема прийняту редакцією систему скорочень слів. У сучасних умовах особливого значення набувають англомовні версії статей, що сприяли б боротьбі зі стереотипами щодо України, її народу, мови, культури, історії тощо, сформованими ще радянською картиною світу й активно підтримуваними, а то й поглиблюваними адептами «русского міра».

Thesis. The aim of the article is to present the impact of mega and macro-levels on the formation of new consumer socialization agendas in the educational process. The article is an attempt to explain the assumption that today the educational process is associated not only with changes in values or changes in defining the family, but also protests in the automotive industry in the 1930s, production allocation, marketing, globalization, consumerism, development of new media and the transformation in Poland.  Concepts discussed. The analysis combines the theories on the issues of broadly understood consumption, including the theory of The consumer society by Zygmunt Bauman, or the branding of the nation by James McNeal with several approaches to social changes and globalization in the 20th and 21st centuries, among which the Beverly Silver’s thesis was crucial.  Results and conclusions. The article draws attention to the issue of com modification of the individual and the "market game" associated with the success and social promotion of a family mediated by child development - "the most expensive investment". The cognitive value of the approach. The most important value is the original, not undertaken so far, perspective of analyzing the educational process of a modern child: not only in the context of a family, environment and consumption, but also the processes of change in the work organization and organization. The adopted imperative results from the belief that contemporary reality requires not only psychological analysis from the perspective of the individual or sociological analysis of the group and the education system, but problems taking place at the international level, adopting Samuel Huntington's thesis on the consolidation of the world economy.
Teza. Celem artykułu jest wskazanie wpływu mega i makro poziomu na kształtowanie się nowych agend socjalizacji konsumenckiej w procesie wychowawczym. Artykuł stanowi próbę wyjaśnienia założenia, iż współcześnie proces wychowawczy związany jest nie tylko z przemianami w wartościach, czy definiowaniu rodziny, ale też protestami w przemyśle motoryzacyjnym w latach 30 XX w., alokacją produkcji, marketingiem, globalizacją, konsumpcjonizmem, rozwojem nowych mediów i transformacją ustrojową w Polsce.  Omówione koncepcje. Analiza łączy w sobie teorie dotyczące problematyki szeroko pojętej konsumpcji, w tym teorię społeczeństwa konsumentów Zygmunta Baumana, czy brandingu narodu Jamesa McNeala z kilkoma ujęciami zmian w XX i XXI-wiecznego społeczeństwa i globalizacji, wśród których wyjściową stała się teza Beverlyego Silvera.  Wyniki i wnioski. W artykule wskazano, iż we współczesnym społeczeństwie doszło do transformacji agend socjalizacji czego przyczyną są przede wszystkim zmiany na makro i mega poziomie. W artykule zwrócona jest uwaga na problematykę utowarowienia jednostki i „gry rynkowej” związanej z sukcesem i awansem społecznym rodziny zapośredniczonej przez rozwój dziecka -  „najdroższej inwestycji”.  Wartość poznawcza podejścia. Największą wartość stanowi oryginalna, dotychczas nie podejmowana, perspektywa analizy procesu wychowawczego współczesnego dziecka nie tylko w kontekście rodziny, środowiska i konsumpcji, ale też procesów zmian w organizacjach i organizacji pracy. Tak przyjęty imperatyw wynika z przekonania, że współczesna rzeczywistość wymaga nie tylko analizy psychologicznej z perspektywy jednostki, czy socjologicznej analizy grupy i systemu edukacji, ale problemów odbywających się na poziomie międzynarodowym, przy przyjęciu tezy Samuela Huntingtona o konsolidowaniu     się światowej gospodarki.

У статті охарактеризовано сучасну парадигму освіти в Україні й умотивовано логіку використання інноваційних методів навчання. Авторка уточнює поняття інноваційних методів, до яких зараховує не тільки новостворені, але й традиційні, які набувають нових якісних ознак у процесі пристосування до вимог сучасної освіти. Значну увагу приділено аналізові проектного, дослідницького, ситуаційного та інтерактивного методів навчання мови, оскільки вони спрямовані на активність, самостійність, креативність, соціальну взаємодію учасників навчального процесу і здатні створити умови, максимально наближені до реальних професійних ситуацій.
The article describes the modern paradigm of education in Ukraine and explains the need of innovative teaching methods. The author clarifies the concept of innovative methods, which include not only recently created, but also traditional ones, which acquire new qualitative features in the process of adapting to the requirements of modern education. The author also focuses on the analysis of projects, researches, as well as situational and interactive methods of language teaching. These methods are aimed at activity, autonomy, creativity, social interaction of participants in the educational process, thus can create conditions that are as close as possible to real professional situations.

Opis:
The article presents the author’s viewpoint on the value-rich education and its possible development in modern schooling society. The notions of “values” and “educational values” have been discussed. On the basis of the discussion, the author’s understanding of educational values has been suggested. The issue of selection of values to be integrated into school practice has been discussed. As a result, three groups of values that should be placed at the centre of school policy and then integrated into action in the classroom practice have been singled out: 1) foundation values which help a person to gain some orientation in the sense of social responsibility (safety, support, self-control, honesty, considerate and responsible attitude to people and educational activity), 2) focus values, those which enable a person to build relationships with the community and around him/herself (collaboration, confidence, communication, achievement, fallibility, quality, enquiry, play, initiative, wonder, etc.), 3) aspirational values which are based on a person’s global responsibility for him/herself, the other people and physical world around (wisdom, holistic approach, membership, knowledge, democratic existence). The framework of educational procedures for integration of the selected values has been created and substantiated in the paper.
W opracowaniu zaprezentowano punkt widzenia autorki na bogatą w wartości edukację oraz szanse jej rozwoju we współczesnym społeczeństwie. W tekście zostały omówione pojęcia: „wartości” i „wartości oświatowe”. Odniesiono się też do wyniku wyboru integralnych w praktyce szkolnej wartości. Wyłoniono trzy grupy wartości, które należy uwzględnić w polityce oświatowej szkoły, a następnie w formie zintegrowanej wdrażać je w praktyce edukacyjnej. Są to: 1) główne wartości o charakterze społecznym (bezpieczeństwo, wsparcie, uczciwość, obowiązkowość, odpowiedzialność itp.), 2) wartości, które pozwalają nawiązać społeczne relacje (współpraca, komunikacja, inicjatywa, empatia, stawianie pytań itp.), 3) wartości ambicjonalne jednostki – odpowiedzialność za siebie i innych (mądrość, wiedza, moralność itp.). Ujęta w strukturze oświatowych procedur integracja wyżej wskazanych wartości została przedstawiona w pracy.

Opis:
Ever-changing society in the global world requires modern functioning of all organizations. Uniformed services which want to properly fulfill their tasks in a knowledge-based society must participate in the process of permanent change. Apart from its basic functions, such as prevention and repression, the police also have an educational function. The mission of the Polish police in recent years has had to be redefined in the spirit of Community Policing. Contemporary police officers must actively cooperate with their local environment, becoming not only participants but also creators of changes. Recommendations resulting from the analysis of organizational and substantive conditions of changes in the area of police pedagogy made by the authors are helpful in better shaping of pedagogical culture of police officers. In the global world, the analysed experiences and presented recommendations can be implemented also in other societies.
Ciągle zmieniające się ponowoczesne społeczeństwo w globalnym świecie wymaga sprawnego funkcjonowania wszystkich organizacji. Służby mundurowe chcące właściwie wypełniać swoje zadania w społeczeństwie opartym na wiedzy muszą uczestniczyć w procesie permanentnych zmian. Poza podstawowymi funkcjami takimi jak prewencyjna i represyjna, policja pełni także funkcję edukacyjną. Misja polskiej policji w ostatnich latach musiała zostać przedefiniowana w duchu Comunity Policing. Współcześni funkcjonariusze policji muszą aktywnie współpracować ze swoim środowiskiem lokalnym, stając się nie tylko uczestnikami, ale także kreatorami zmian. Rekomendacje wynikające z dokonanej przez autorów analizy organizacyjnych i merytorycznych uwarunkowań zmian w obszarze pedagogizacji policji stanowią pomoc w lepszym kształtowaniu kultury pedagogicznej.

Sustainable development, in all of its aspects, is possible to be achieved only thanks to properly planned and effectively implemented formal, informal and non-formal education. In this context, what teachers know about sustainable development, to what extend they know its assumptions and demands, and how they implement these assumptions in their everyday school practice is extremely important. I will present the results of research concerning teachers' knowledge regarding education for sustainable development, the didactic methods and forms which they apply while implementing the didactic process for sustainable development.

Artykuł ukazuje otwarte formy uczenia się i nauczania,  takie jak praca swobodna, praca w formie stanowisk dydaktycznych, praca według planu dnia/tygodnia oraz praca projektowa z perspektywy glottodydaktycznej. Z jednej strony analizie został poddany aspekt afektywny, a więc czynnik motywowania uczniów poprzez odpowiedni dobór treści i materiałów. Z drugiej strony rozważania koncentrują się na analizie aspektu kognitywnego, czyli efektów kształcenia w rozumieniu aktualnego nauczania komunikacyjno-międzykulturowego. Te dwie perspektywy uzupełniono analizą aspektu społeczno-działaniowego, a zatem możliwości kooperacyjnego uczenia się w powiązaniu z realizacją dydaktycznej koncepcji uczenia się przez działanie, oraz  aspektu materialno-dynamicznego, a więc organizacji pracy w glottodydaktycznym atelier. Rozważania teoretyczne połączono z przedstawieniem wyników własnych badań empirycznych w tym zakresie.
The article presents open forms of learning and teaching, such as free work, working at the stations, working according to the day/week plan and the project work from the glottodidactic perspective. On the one hand the affective factor is analysed, which is the factor responsible for motivating the students through appropriate choice of content and materials. On the other hand, the discussion is focused on the analysis of the cognitive aspect, which means the analysis of the effects of education in the view of contemporary communicative – cross-curicular teaching. These perspectives will be complemented by the analysis of social-active aspect, thus, the possibility for cooperation while learning in connection with the dydactic idea of learning by doing, as well as the material-dynamic aspect, which corresponds to the organisation of work in the glottodidactic atelier. The theoretical discussion has been connected with the presentation of the effects of the author’s own empirical study in this area.

Обоснована актуальность внедрения европейского опыта поддержки инноваций посредством улучшения действующей структуры высшего образования для Украины
Globalization creates growing need for intensification of generating innovation. The most important platform for the formation of new ideas is higher education, where students can realize their ideas and transform them from theoretical ideas into profitable business projects. The European experience of such transformation is useful for the Ukrainian educational system. Since the study of the means of adapting foreign experience to support innovation in higher school of Ukraine was not paid sufficient attention to, there is a need for relevant research. The aim of the research is the analysis of the experience of support and implementation of innovations of students in Europe at Lund University and Gdańsk University of Technology to identify the tools of its adaptation in higher education of Ukraine. The research methods are abstract–logical, analytical. The paper analyzes experience of one of the oldest universities in the world – Lund University and it was revealed that education and carrying out research in the areas of engineering, law, sociology, economics and management, medicine, theology, art, music and drama takes place on its basis. Demola Innovation Center, created on the basis of the University, provides collaboration and open innovation through interdisciplinary interaction between student groups that work with real customers. On the basis of the Center communication between representatives of the businesses, the higher school and the real buyers is carried out.  It was established that at Gdańsk University of Technology, support of innovation is realized within the innovation program "Horizon 2020" – a financial tool aimed at developing innovations to ensure the competitiveness of the EU economy under conditions of globalization. It was found that the development of the European education system by implementing innovations has been going on for 25 years already. This experience, as the practice shows is quite successful. Incubators, created on the basis of the universities allow implementing the new economy. Funding today the innovation processes on the basis of higher education, the European government forms the platform for the development of profitable business as a guaranteed taxpayer in the future. We made a conclusion that the application of this practice in the Ukrainian higher education will intensify the processes of generating innovation, which, in its turn, will enhance the competitiveness of national higher education. The scientific novelty of this work consists in identifying means of supporting innovation of the youth by creating innovation incubators, student research labs on the basis of higher education (University), which allow implementing new ideas, creating new jobs, increase the level of competition of national economies. The practical value of the work lies in the fact that the use of the European experience of implementation of innovation through the development of scientific laboratories will generate ideas and increase the level of competitiveness of national education. Further research will have to study the experience of other leading universities of the world in support of innovations.
Глобалізація зумовлює дедалі більшу необхідність інтенсифікації генерації інновацій. Найважливіша платформа формування нових ідей – вища школа, де студенти можуть реалізовувати свої ідеї та трансформувати їх із ідей теоретичних у прибуткові бізнес-проекти. Європейський досвід такої трансформації корисний для української системи освіти. Оскільки вивченню засобів адаптації іноземного досвіду підтримки інновацій у вищій школі України достатньої уваги не приділено, виникла потреба відповідного дослідження. Мета дослідження – аналіз досвіду підтримки та реалізації інновацій студентської молоді в Європі у Лундському університеті та Гданському політехнічному університеті для виявлення інструментів його адаптації у вищій школі України. Методи дослідження – абстрактно-логічний, аналітичний. У роботі проаналізовано досвід роботи одного із найдавніших університетів у світі – Лундського та виявлено, що на його базі реалізують освіту та дослідження в напрямах інженерії, права, соціології, економіки та менеджменту, медицини, теології, мистецтва, музики та драми. Інноваційний центр «Demola», створений на основі університету, забезпечує співпрацю та відкриття інновацій шляхом міждисциплінарної взаємодії студентських груп, що працюють з реальними покупцями. На базі центру здійснюється комунікація між представниками реального бізнесу, вищою школою та реальними покупцями. З’ясовано, що в Гданському політехнічному університеті підтримку інновацій реалізують у межах інноваційної програми «Горизонт 2020» – фінансового інструменту, спрямованого на розвиток інновацій з метою забезпечення конкурентоспроможності економіки ЄС в умовах глобалізації. Виявлено, що розвиток європейської системи освіти шляхом впровадження інновацій триває уже 25 років. Цей досвід, як свідчить практика, досить успішний. Інкубатори, створені на основі університетів, дозволяють втілювати нові економіки. Фінансуючи сьогодні інноваційні процеси на базі вищої школи, європейський уряд формує платформу для розвитку прибуткового бізнесу як гарантованого платника податків у майбутньому. Зроблено висновок, що застосування даної практики в українській вищій школі дозволить активізувати процеси генерації інновацій, що, в свою чергу, спонукатиме підвищення рівня конкурентоспроможності національної вищої освіти. Наукова новизна роботи полягає у виявленні засобу підтримки інновацій молоді шляхом створення на базі вищої школи (університету) інноваційних інкубаторів, студентських наукових лабораторій, які дозволяють реалізувати нові ідеї молоді, створювати нові робочі місця, підвищувати рівень конкуренції національних економік. Практичне значення роботи полягає у тому, що використання європейського досвіду упровадження інновацій шляхом розвитку наукових лабораторій дозволить генерувати ідеї та підвищити рівень конкурентоспроможності національної освіти. Подальшого дослідження потребує вивчення досвіду інших провідних вищих навчальних закладів світу у підтримці інновацій. Рис. 4. Табл. 1. Бібл. 11.

The personality and creativity of Jean-Jacques Rousseau are multifaceted, sometimes difficult to structure and observe in modern humanistic theorizations, although the idea of a special social function of personal sovereignty and the idea of history as a meaningful synthesis of historical facts have not lost their relevance today, if we find the necessary range of review and ways of implementation. Another example – the idea of education as a system, which should be the very nature – the nature of the pupil, the “nature-loving” educator, and the natural educational process itself. If we consider the idea of following the natural pupil so as to create conditions for detection, disclosure, and facilitating the full deployment of the individual capacities of the pupil, this idea is at least highly relevant. This is an aspect of the modern psychological, pedagogical, and even – political – mainstream, the focus of what is most concerned about contemporary human society and its various institutions. If we consider that the idea of naturalness facilitates the educational process as a way of bringing it closer to some “maieutic” ideal – it is also one of the centrifugal issues of modern pedagogy and educational affairs in general, the question – how to make the process – non-violent, opening prospects, and not prevent them from forming the ability to independently explore the world and find ways of acting effectively in it. If we treat the idea of the “nature-loving” educator as subtly and carefully acting in relation to any of the manifestations of the pupil, thereby unleashing the potential of the tutor, is not this the way to pre-empt all types of “burn up” (both professional, and emotional) for the modern educator in the broad sense of the word – “sculptor of human souls”? In this article with the elements of an essay – the proposal is to make a fascinating excursion, full of unexpected discoveries into the world of Rousseau.

St. Urszula Ledóchowska- the founder of the Ursulines Sisters of the Order of Dying Heart of Jesus (Sióstr Urszulanek Serca Jezusa Konającego) – whose personality is usually discribed by the formula – Polish and European – lived and worked in difficult times in the first half of the twentieth century. Above all, she was the mistress of the spiritual life. In her attitude towards the the world and people, she was able to perfectly combine contemplation and activity. In the center of her spirituality, she has placed the mystery of Jesus Crucified – The Dying Heart and His Mother. A strong faith in God, putting trust in Him, should – according to her beliefs – shape human life that should be giving constant witness to the Risen Christ. At the same time the Saint was a person deeply involved in the problems of everyday life. Since her entrance to the Ursulines (Urszulanki) in Kraków, St. Urszula Ledóchowska gave great importance of girls education. During her stays in Russia, Sweden, Denmark, and then after returning to the free Poland, to Pniewy; she established schools with a modern program of education, where intellectual development was closely connected with the development of spiritual and religious. The school was supposed to be a community shaped like a ‘small church’ and its purpose was to teach and educate. St. Urszula Ledóchowska demanded from the teachers not only education and good manners, but primarily tolerance and ‘cheerfulness’ that comes from the certainty of faith in God. Therefore, her life was ‘a rosary embodied in an act’ and the act were Faith, Hope and Love.
