Innowacje społeczne są istotnym elementem polityki innowacyjnej odnoszącym się do rozwiązywania problemów społecznych oraz tworzenia wartości w obszarach niekomercyjnych, służących społeczeństwu. Podobną rolę odgrywają sektory kreatywne i kultury, które tworzą wartość dla mieszkańców regionów. Artykuł przedstawia istotę innowacji społecznych oraz ich związek z kreatywnością stanowiącą fundament cywilizacyjnego rozwoju Europy. W szczególności scharakteryzowano rolę innowacji społecznych w przemysłach kreatywnych, które z definicji wykorzystują produkty indywidualnej i grupowej kreatywności. Ze względu na ogromny, spodziewany potencjał wdrażania innowacji społecznych w sektorach kreatywnych obszar ten wymaga dalszych badań naukowych i rozwojowych, których kierunki zostały przedstawione w artykule.
Social innovation are important part of the regional policy, regarding the challenge of resolving social problems and creating value in non-profit areas but useful for the society. Similar role play the cultural and creative industries, which create the value for the citizens of regions. The paper presents the essence of social innovation and their relations with creativity – the basis of civilizational development of Europe. Especially, the role of social innovation in the crea-tive and cultural sectors have been presented. Because of the huge expected potential of implementing social innovation in creative sectors, this area should be the subject of future research. The research directions are also presented in the paper.

Opis:
Praca dotyczy określania optymalnych wartości parametrów technologicznych nagniatania tocznego z elektrokontakowym nagrzewaniem, w procesie wytwarzania lub regeneracji części maszyn rolniczych. Badane zmienne wyjściowe w postaci najważniejszych wskaźników eksploatacyjnych (odporność na zacieranie, współczynnik tarcia ślizgowego i zużycie ścierne liniowe) opisano równaniami regresji od parametrów technologicznych. Równania te zastosowano w optymalizacji wielokryterialnej, przy pomocy napisanych skryptów w programie Matlab, na przykładzie części nowej ze stali C55. Opracowano zbiór rozwiązań dopuszczalnych na płaszczyźnie zmiennych sterowalnych (parametrów technologicznych) ze względu na przyjęte kryteria (wskaźniki eksploatacyjne) i ograniczenia.
This paper concerns determination of the optimal technological parameters of burnishing rolling with electrical current, in the production or regeneration of agricultural machinery parts. Examined dependent variables, as the most important operational indicators (scuffing resistance, sliding friction coefficient and linear abrasive wear) were described by regression equations from technological parameters. These equations were used in multi-objective optimization process with delivered scripts in Matlab program, for example a new part made of steel C55. A set of acceptable solutions was developed on the plane of controllable variables (of technological parameters) on account of accepted criteria (operational indicators) and limitations.

Opis:
Praca dotyczy komputerowej analizy zjawisk fizycznych zachodzących w warstwie wierzchniej części maszyn rolniczych podczas nagniatania jako końcowej operacji procesu regeneracji. Do analizy przyrostu pól temperatur użyto podprogram TEMPERATURA programu SYMUL-NAGN. Analizę stanu odkształceń i naprężeń dokonano w systemie ANSYS/Ls-Dyna. Opracowane aplikacje pozwalają określić właściwości warstwy wierzchniej dla danych warunków realizacji procesu lub odwrotnie, mogą określać wartości parametrów technologicznych dla pożądanych właściwości WW. Jest to niezbędne do prawidłowego projektowania procesu technologicznego regeneracji części. Przedstawiono przykładowe wyniki symulacji numerycznych.
The paper involves computer analysis of physical phenomena occurring in the surface layer of parts of agricultural machinery during the burnishing rolling as the final operation in the process of regeneration. . A subprogram - "symul-nagn" program temperature was used for analysis of the thermal fields' increment. The analysis of the state of strains and stresses was performed in the ansys/ls-dyna system. Developed applications allow to define the properties of the surface layer for the conditions of the process or vice versa, can determine the value of the technological parameters for the desired properties. This is necessary to the proper design of technological process of regeneration. Exemplary results of numerical simulation were presented.

Atopic dermatitis is a common allergic skin disease in dogs. Monitoring the progress of treatment and the assessment of the severity of disease symptoms are crucial elements of the treatment procedure. One of the common means of assessing the severity of the clinical signs of the disease is the CADESI 03. Research studies have pointed to a possibility of assessing the severity of skin lesions by means of measuring biophysical skin parameters such as TEWL, skin hydration and erythema intensity. The aim of the study was the assessment of changes in TEWL and CADESI values measured in ten different body regions during non-specific anti-pruritus treatment. The examination was performed on ten dogs with atopic dermatitis (age from 2.5 years to 7 years, mean age 3.8 years). The measurements were performed in the following body regions: the lumbar region, the right axillary fossa, the right inguinal region, the ventral abdominal region, the right lateral thorax region, the internal surface of the auricle, interdigital region of the right forelimb, cheek, bridge of nose and the lateral site of antebrachum. A statistically significant decrease in CADESI values was reported starting from the second week of treatment. In the case of the mean TEWL values, a fall was observed after one week of treatment in the ventral abdominal region and the interdigital region, after two weeks of treatment in the axillary fossa and the inguinal region, and after three weeks in the cheek and the lateral thorax region. There was no statistically significant decrease in TEWL values in the course of treatment in four other regions.

Praca dotyczy analizy ubytku właściwości użytkowych noży pielnika aktywnego produkowanych przez firmę AKPIL. Zakres analiz obejmuje: obliczenia numeryczne stanu naprężeń podczas uderzeń i analizę zmęczeniową oraz laboratoryjne badania odporności na zużycie ścierne i zniszczenie pod wpływem uderzenia o kamień. W wyniku przeprowadzonych badań laboratoryjnych opracowano zależność zmian procentowego ubytku masy w funkcji czasu pracy dla różnych rodzajów noży.
The paper concerns the analyses of the loss of functional properties of the knives of active hoe by AKPIL. The range of analyses includes: the numerical calculation of stress state during impact, fatigue analysis and laboratory researches of abrasion resistance and stone damage resistance. As the result of laboratory researches that were conducted, the dependency of changes of percentage mass loss was estimated in the function of work duration for different types of knives.

Opis:
The tip-timing measurement of rotor blade vibration of a real turbine is very expensive. An electronic simulator of unshrouded steam turbine rotor blade vibrations for aliasing frequencies up to 25 Hz is presented in this paper. The results of the simulated blade vibrations were compared with ones carried out on a real steam turbine. The simulator can be also used to: calibrate the measurement channels, help in the designing and manufacturing new tip-timing systems, and check the reliability of other tip-timing systems.

As a failure of rotor blades in a gas turbine was reported, the rotating-mode shapes of flexible shrouded bladed disc assemblies were calculated using a finite element approach. Rotational effects, such as centrifugal stiffening were accounted for, and all couplings between the flexible parts were allowed. The spin softening effects were neglected. A dynamic analysis of the shrouded bladed disc demonstrated that it was designed with a sufficient safety region of resonance. In case of one blade getting loose, it is vibrating in resonance.

The main aim of this study was to compare selected nonspecific immunity parameters in 14 allergic and 12 healthy horses. Each animal was assessed according to the following parameters: in vitro functional capacity of phagocytic cells using the nitro blue tetrazolium chloride reduction test, both spontaneous (NBT) and zymozan stimulated (NBTs), and ingestion capacity of phagocytic cells using a phagocytic index test (IF) and percentage of phagocytosing neutrophils activity (%KF). Differences were demonstrated between the group of allergic horses, especially with severe allergy symptoms, and healthy horses in NBTs values, with higher values in healthy horses. The values of the phagocytic index were significantly higher in horses with allergy.

The purpose of this study was to evaluate transepidermal water loss, skin hydration and skin pH in normal ponies. Sixteen ponies of both sexes were examined in the study. Measurements were taken from seven different sites: the neck region, the shoulder, thorax, lumbar, inguinal, lip region and the auricle. In each of the regions transepidermal water loss (TEWL), skin hydration and skin pH were measured. For transepidermal water loss, the lowest values were observed in the lumbar region (9.71g/hm2), while the highest values were observed in the lip region (22.35 g/hm2). In the case of skin hydration the lowest values were observed for the thorax region (2.13 CU), and the highest for the lip region (41.81 CU). For skin pH, the lowest results were obtained in the lumbar region (6.93), and the highest in the lip region (7.96).
