    Opis:
    Garować is a word which at present belongs primarily to the colloquial variety of the Polish language. Wielki słownik języka polskiego [The Great Dictionary of the Polish Language] mentions 6 meanings of the verb. However, this number does not exhaust the range. The goal of the article is to present the scope of the contemporary meanings of the word. To this end, an online questionnaire was distributed which produced 1,302 replies related to the subject of my interest. The article presents excerpted meanings arranged by prevalence (taking into consideration, if relevant, data of geographic and sociological nature). Next, a scheme of the meanings’ affiliation was suggested. Therefore, this text connects with the works using both the achievements of lexicography as well as empirical research into semantics, based on the ndata from the questionnaires.

    This study examines some formulations which raise doubts as they allow themselves to be interpreted in an equivocal mode in the course of learning and teaching of specialist Italian. To illustrate the complexity of these lexical/terminological solutions based on consultations and opinions, managed by doctors and professionals in medicine with free access on the website of www.corrieredellasera.it, in the Medicine section: Health. The classification of the examples is based on the subdivision established by Lepschy on enantiosemy. The description completes the clarifications adapted to the concepts of signification, meaning and comprehension.

    Przedmiotem artykułu jest zależność pomiędzy relacjami z matką i ojcem a poczuciem sensu życia u adolescentów pochodzących z rodzin rozbitych. Przeprowadzone badania w grupie 146 adolescentów z rodzin rozbitych za pomocą Kwestionariusz Relacji Rodzinnych Plopy i Połomskiego oraz Kwestionariusza Postaw Życiowych Klamuta dowiodły istnienia dość silnej zależności pomiędzy relacjami z matką a poczuciem sensu życia u dorastających dzieci. Relacje z ojcem nie wykazały tak silnych zależności.
    The subcject of the article is the relationship between relations with mother and father and thesense of meaning of life tin adolescents from broken families. The study was conducted in groupof 146 adolescents from broken families, using the Plopa and Połomski Family Relations Questionnaire and the Klamut Life Postures Questionnaire, proved the existence of a fairly strong relationship between relations with mother and the sense of meaning of life in adolescent children.Relationships with their fathers have not shown such strong dependencies.
