Opis:
To realize “seamless” connection of ocean port container multimodal transport, efficiently carry out “door-to-door” transport of ocean port containers and overcome the shortcomings of existing highway and railway vehicles, this study takes the standard for heavy-duty container vehicles in TB1335-1996 Railway Vehicle Strength Design and Test Identification Code as the design basis and designs a new ocean port container transport vehicle in combination with automatic guidance technology. This study innovatively designs the automatic lifting system of the bogie and the docking part of the vehicle, introduces the automatic guidance technology and the remote-control technology to optimize the car body structure, and uses the SAP software to carry out the finite element analysis of the car body load capacity and Flexsim software to carry out the simulation analysis on the operation of vehicles. The designed transfer vehicle can improve the transfer efficiency of ocean port containers, reduce the transit time of field and station equipment and container transport links, and improve the level of multimodal transport and comprehensive economic benefits.

Opis:
Shipyard development in Kutaraja Fishing Port is important to improve the port performance. The studies related to shipyards are mainly focused on their productivity, facility layout, production capacity, and management and planning. Meanwhile, there are still limited studies related to the influence of oceanographic factors on shipyard development. This research aimed to identify the impact of oceanographic factors on shipyard industry development in Kutaraja fishing port. The research was conducted from December 2020 to March 2021. The data analyzed in this study were tide, wind, current, wave, bathymetry, and sediment composition. The tide, wind, current, and wave data were collected for the last three years from Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysical Agency. The current moves from two directions, from northeast and northwest, towards the coastal areas around the eastern part of Kutaraja fishing port, closed to the breakwater. The current in the eastern part moves faster than in the western part, and the western part of the sampling area mostly has shallow waters. The highest tide occurs at 12:00 with a water height of -0.3855 meters, and the lowest tide was at 19:00 with a water height of -1.0485 meters. Fine sand dominated the sediment in the sampling area. The result indicates that oceanographic factors are essential to be incorporated as one of the indicators for shipyard development.

Opis:
Almost 650 beads and pendants, most of them of glass and faience, were excavated over two seasons in 2014 and 2015 at Berenike on the Red Sea coast of Egypt. This material, coming from 19 trenches variously located within the Hellenistic to early Byzantine site, has contributed some new data, enhancing the Berenike bead typology. Highlights included a Bes pendant of glass from a Hellenistic context and early Roman mosaic glass beads with face patterns. Other materials of which the ornaments were made included marine mollusk shells, ostrich eggshell, and a variety of stone and minerals. Of greatest interest were beads coming from early Roman graves, of an older man (the order of the threaded beads could be traced) and of animals (neck collars). Beads threaded on fragments of string, most probably of Indo-Pacific make, came from the early Roman rubbish dump.
