    The monitoring of the temperature makes possible the introduced to exploitation system VALCAP of the NKT Cables company. The system measures the temperature along the conductor with the regard external temperature (only for overhead lines). The paper presents the applied in the practice method of the analysis of the acceptable load of cable or the conductor of the overhead line in dependence from stepping out external conditions.

    Opis:
    Hardware technology developments and wireless communications enables the development of wireless sensor networks (WSNs). WSN will need to be connected to the Internet due to its variety of applications and their importance. This paper discusses the challenges in integrating WSN and IoT (Internet of Things). The best ways of integrating WSN and IoT for environmental monitoring are analyzed. The sensor node is developed to monitor environmental parameters such as temperature and humidity. The sensor SHT75 to sense the temperature and humidity of the environment, XBeePro to communicate with gateway, LCD to display information are interfaced with MSP430 Microcontroller. The microcontroller is used for processing, controlling and communicating the information. The sensor nodes are deployed to measure the parameter in the target area. The information is communicated to the world of Internet in one of the best integrating ways discussed in the paper.

    Artykuł przedstawia koncepcję pomiarów oraz wyniki badań mających na celu identyfikację pola temperatur w strefie skrawania podczas procesu wiercenia, wykorzystując nowoczesne termowizyjne techniki pomiarów temperatury. Skupiono się na metodzie nieingerującej w proces skrawania, kierując się kryterium możliwości wykorzystania jej w systemie monitorowania temperatury procesu wiercenia.
    The main goal of that article is to show the research result of identification of temperature field in the cutting zone during the drilling process, using a modern thermovision technique. During the research the attention was focused on a method, which directly does not interfere the cutting process. The main criterion of the analysis was the possibility of the utilization of the method in temperature monitoring system of the drilling process.

    Wzrost liczby kontenerów chłodniczych przewożonych drogą morską stawia nowe obowiązki oraz wymaga odpowiednich procedur postępowania i doświadczenia zawodowego członków załogi statku. W artykule przedstawiono ogólne problemy transportu kontenerów chłodniczych drogą morską, zasady eksploatacji kontenerów, w zakresie pracy układów sterowania i kontroli, ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem regulacji temperatury. Przedstawiano procedury w czasie załadunku kontenerów w porcie, podczas podróży morskiej i wyładunku w miejscu docelowym.
    The growth of the number of reefer containers transported the sea road appear new duties and requires the suitable procedures of proceeding and professional experience of the members of the crew of the ship. The general problems of the transportation by the sea road of reefer containers, the principle of the exploitation, system of steering and control with special regard of the control of the temperature were introduced in this paper. The principles of the exploitation of containers and procedure during the loading in the harbor, sea going trip and discharge in the destination port were presented.
