New York Bay is one of the most important transition regions of ships trading to east America. The region plays an important role in the commerce of the New York metropolitan area. The area is surrounded with the coasts that have various levels of environmental sensitivity. The area accommodates high diversity of native ecosystems and species that are rather vulnerable in case of oil spill. Thus getting well informed about the likelihood, or fate, of oil spills around this region is of great importance so that proactive measures can be taken. The purpose of this study is to investigate the oil spill and predict the future accidents likely to be encountered around the Bay of New York. Two trajectory models have been conducted for the study. ADIOS (Automated Data Inquiry for Oil Spills), has been conducted for natural degradation calculations, and, GNOME (General NOAA Operational Modeling Environment), has been conducted for surface spread simulation. The results gained through these efforts are hoped to be useful for many organizations dealing with oil spill response operations and contribute to an effective and efficient coordination among the relevant institutions.

Rozpoczęcie zdejmowania nadkładu w odkrywce "Piaski" planowane jest w 2010 roku, a w rok później przewiduje się wydobycie pierwszego węgla. Zdolność wydobywcza zakładu górniczego wyniesie około 3,5 mln ton węgla rocznie. Według obecnych założeń eksploatacja węgla w odkrywce zakończy się w 2036 roku. Rozpoznana i udokumentowana budowa geologiczna, warunki hydrogeologiczne oraz przyjęta technologia eksploatacji złoża wskazują na zastosowanie studziennego systemu odwadniania jako podstawowego. Uwzględniając warunki udostępniania złoża, w obszarze potencjalnego wpływu odwadniania wydzielono trzy poziomy wodonośne: nadkładowy, podwęglowy i kredowy. W celu określenia oddziaływania odwadniania na środowisko wodne wykorzystany został program obliczeniowy MODFLOW. Na dwuwarstwowym modelu numerycznym obejmującym obszar ok. 1550 km2 przedstawiono krążenie wód podziemnych w rejonie projektowanej odkrywki w warunkach naturalnych oraz w warunkach pracy systemu odwadniania kopalni. Wyniki obliczeń wskazują, że odwadnianie kopalni wywoła lej depresyjny o zasięgu od 3 do 6 km. Zasilanie wód podziemnych dopływających do systemu odwadniania pochodzić będzie w przeważającej części z infiltracji efektywnej oraz częściowo z rzeki Czarnej Strugi. Odwodnienie odkrywki spowodować może zmniejszenie dopływu podziemnego do rzeki Warty o około 1,9 m3/min.
Overburden stripping in the "Piaski" open-pit is planned in 2010 and the lignite production will start one year later. Production capacity will be 3.5 Mg/year. According to the present conception lignite production will finish in 2036. Identified and documented geology structure, hydrogeological conditions and technology of operation, enable to apply as a fundamental water wells dewatering system. Taking into account hydrogeological conditions, three hydrostratigraphic units were distinguished in the area of potential impact of dewatering: overburden aquifer, lignite underlying aquifer and cretaceous aquifer. To simulate dewatering impact on water environment the USGS program MODFLOW has been used. Based on the two-layered numerical model with area of 1550 km2, groundwater circulation was simulated in the natural conditions as well as in the conditions changed due to mine dewatering operations. The results indicate that because of mine dewatering the range of the cone of depression will amount to 3-5 km. Groundwater recharge originate mainly from the infiltration of precipitation and additionally from Czarna Struga river. Open pit dewatering may results in decrease of baseflow to Warta river by about 1.9 m3/min.

The main object of the research was to examine the acceptable time horizon that could be predicted by previously learned models of the Day-Ahead Market (DAM) TGE S.A. system. The article contains the results of research on the predicting ability of different ANN models of the DAM TGE S.A. The research was conducted based on data covering the operation of the Polish stock exchange in the period from 2002 to 2019 (the first half of the year). The research was carried out based on the learned ANN models of the DAM system. Data were taken for examination covering the time from 2002 to 2019 (1st half of the year) and was divided into a different period, i.e., a month, a quarter, and a half-year., year, etc. The MSE, MAE, MAPE, and R2 were adopted as the criteria for assessing the ability of individual models to predict electricity prices. The research was carried out by successively expanding forecasting periods in a rolling manner. For example, for a half-year, prediction time intervals were increased from one week to month, two months, quarter, half-year, etc. results for a model representing a given period. A lot of interesting research results were obtained.

Research background: There is currently a need for empirical research regarding the validity of specific work environment model elements supported by strong statistical evidence. The amount of research conducted in this field has been particularly limited in Central-Eastern Europe. The desire to fill in these gaps was at least in part responsible for the uniqueness of the research approach and its differences from previous similar studies. Purpose of the article: The purpose of this study was to examine factors affecting employee engagement and to examine their relationship with each other using Visegrad countries as an example. Methods: The initial data is taken from the fourth European Company Survey (2019) for management respondents. After data cleaning, the sample sizes for Czechia, Hungary Poland, and Slovakia are N(CZ)=904, N(HU)=682, N(PL)=511, and N(SK)=361, respectively. As a result of the exploratory factor analysis (EFA), the following five dimensions were identified for this research: (1) inclusiveness, (2) empowerment, (3) work autonomy, (4) organizational learning environment, and (5) work engagement. An analysis of structural equation modeling (SEM) was conducted to determine the links that exist among these dimensions of a constructive work environment. Findings & value added: The structural model indicates that inclusiveness and empowerment have a significant positive impact on work engagement in all the countries examined. Inclusiveness was the strongest predictor of work engagement, followed by empowerment. Both of the two other predictors in the model (workplace autonomy and organizational learning environment) generally had less or no effect on employee engagement. The present study extends recent literature on work engagement by empirically validating the influence of workplace environment-related factors, as well as providing useful organizational policy recommendations for managers.

The objective of this research is to propose an indicator to deal with environmental problems for agricultural sectors caused by goods and services production. The aspects to calculate the real benefit of agricultural sectors and environmental cost for analyzing are natural resources materials, energy and transportation, fertilizer and pesticides, and sanitary and similar service. From the research it was found that the highest environmental cost of natural resources materials was 026: charcoal and fire-wood, while the lowest was 010 coconut. The highest environmental cost for energy and transportation was 024: agricultural services, while the highest environmental cost for fertilizer and pesticides was 011: palm oil. lastly, 017: other agricultural products was found as the highest environmental cost for sanitary and similar service. As a result, 010: coconut gained the highest real benefit, while 024: agricultural services presented as the lowest read benefit for the company. If Thailand using environmental problem indicator, especially with the agricultural sector, it can help to formulate efficient policies and strategies for the country in 3 development areas, which are social, economic, and environmental development.

This paper contains selected results of identification modeling of Polish Electric Power Exchange (EPE). In order to obtain EPE system model it was performed identification based on figures of EPEís Day-Ahead Market. During performing identification process, parametric arx model in System Identification Toolbox environment was utilized. Generated EPE parametric model has been further used for performing simulation tests and realization of susceptibility testing. Suitable models were implemented in Simulink software. As a result of simulation and susceptibility testing, many interesting findings has been delivered.

This work contains selected results of research on modelling identification of Polish Power Exchange (TGEE) on the example of the figures quoted on the Day Ahead Market (DAM) on TGEE in Poland. In order to obtain a model of the TGEE system on the beginning it was conducted to identify the figures for the period 01.01.2013-31.12.2015 obtaining discrete parametric model arx in MATLAB and Simulink environments using System Identification Toolbox (SIT). The resultant model was converted to a continuous parametric model, and that one on a continuous model in the state space. On the basis of obtained equations of state and outputs, there was interpreted a state variables and parameters of the selected model, i.e. selected elements of the matrix A and matrix B. Research continues.

The paper proposes the 3-D nonlinear mathematical model for analytic determination of exhaust concentration dynamics in the city regions under the important stipulation that an airflow velocity is not a priory known. To determine an unknown airflow velocity the nonlinear mathematical model is proposed and this nonlinear model is solved by analytical method. In this model it is provided that the turbulent and molecular diffusion coefficient changes depending on the vertical remoteness above the ground surface. The proposed model can be used for solutions of operative problems on urban traffic organization, of long-term planning of urban agglomeration development and new highway building.

The article presents selected results of research on the modeling of humanoid robots, including the results of neural modeling of human gait and its implementation in the environment MATLAB and Simulink with the use of Deep Learning Toolbox. The subject of the research was placed within the scope of the available literature on the subject. Then, appropriate research experiments on human movement along a given trajectory were developed. First, the method of measuring the parameters present in the experiment was established, i.e. input quantities (displacement of the left heel, displacement of the right heel) and output quantities (displacement of the measurement point of the human body in space). Then, research experiments were carried out, as a result of which numerical data were measured in order to use them for teaching and testing the Artificial Neural Network. The Perceptron Artificial Neural Network architecture was used to build a model of a neural human walk along a given trajectory. The obtained results were discussed and interpreted, drawing a number of important conclusions.

An analysis of the web application supporting the management of the gym was carried out, which was designed in terms of the theory of control and systems. The obtained results of measurements of input and output quantities of selected subsystems were used to carry out the identification, as a result of which models of web application subsystems were obtained. On the basis of the obtained subsystem models, appropriate models were then designed in Simulink for the purposes of simulation and comparative studies of the behavior of subsystem models in relation to real systems that are web applications, including an appropriate analysis of the web application system model was carried out under the name of the gym on its selected subsystems, including in particular the subsystem called Generating a diet. In addition, testing and simulation studies were carried out to check the correct functioning of the web application management system model and the introduction of appropriate changes to the model was proposed, and the obtained research results were discussed, indicating the high accuracy of the obtained web application models.

The main part of the publication includes presentation of detailed requirements of the environmental norm with indications of their capabilities for the process of computer helping (aiding) system of the environmental management.

Helical piles are environmental friendly and economical deep foundations that due to environmental considerations are excellent additions to the variety of deep foundation alternatives available to the practitioner. Helical piles performance depends on soil properties, the pile geometry and soil-pile interaction. Helical piles can be a proper alternative in sensitive environmental sites if their bearing capacity is sufficient to support applied loads. The failure capacity of helical piles in this study was measured via an experimental research program that carried out by Frustum Confining Vessel (FCV). FCV is a frustum chamber by approximately linear increase in vertical and lateral stresses along depth from top to bottom. Due to special geometry and applied bottom pressure, this apparatus is a proper choice to test small model piles which can simulate field stress conditions. Small scale helical piles are made with either single helix or more helixes and installed in fine grained sand with three various densities. Axial loading tests including compression and tension tests were performed to achieve pile ultimate capacity. Results indicate the helical piles behavior essentially depends on pile geometric characteristics, i.e. helix configuration and soil properties. According to the achievements, axial uplift capacity of helical model piles is about equal to usual steel model piles that have the helixes diameter. Helical pile compression bearing capacity is too sufficient to act as a medium pile, thus it can be substituted other piles in special geoenvironmental conditions. The bearing capacity also depends on spacing ratio, S/D, and helixes diameter.

Purpose. Іn the publication, a comparative analysis of scientifically-methodical bases of modeling of the learning environment, including using social networking was shown. Variable models are represented on the basis of competence-based approach taking into account the main stages of the design. Methods. Theoretical (the analysis of philosophical, psychological, sociological, pedagogical and methodological publications on the subject of the study); the empirical (observation, survey, pedagogical experiment); methods of statistical data processing. Results. To improve efficiency, including using social networking, it is recommended to consider the advantages of decentralized and centralized networks, improving the sustainability of horizontal communication, transparency, access to resources, monitoring of "reliability ratings", limiting the number of network members, the formation and development of "competence networks". Network stability is maintained even in case of instability of its membership and transaction volume. Based on the comparative analysis of the models considered in the present research, the principles of formation and coordination of the organizational structure in the virtual space. Differences due to the specifics regarding the use of modern information and cognitive technology, the inner logic of action and the specific culture of communication in the network. On the basis of similarities taking into account the analysed models, the prospect for further research is seen in the context of further ways to improve the efficiency of agents in the virtual space, including social networks.

Opis:
Due to the complexity of the marine environment, in deep-sea drilling, all kinds of strings are corroded by different deepsea conditions for a long time, accompanied by high temperature and high pressure, which lead to the continuous change of mechanical properties of materials. In order to solve the problem that the material mechanical parameters cannot be accurately described in the performance analysis of the casing, deep-sea simulated corrosion and material damage experiments of P110 material were carried out in this paper. Mass loss and tensile experiments on corrosion-damaged test pieces were conducted under different corrosion experimental periods. The changes in mechanical properties of the material were analyzed. Equations of the variation of the equivalent yield strength and the equivalent tensile strength were obtained. The results show that the equivalent yield strength and the equivalent tensile strength decrease with the increase of the weight loss rate. Based on the experimental results and finite element analysis, a method for establishing the material corrosion model was proposed in this paper. The deep-sea drilling corrosion performance model of P110 material was established, which greatly reduced the error caused by the material uniformity assumption in finite element analysis. This paper provides a theoretical basis for the analysis of reliability and life of P110 materials in wells.

Opis:
The problem of determining the optimal passing route of the ship between its current position and a remote destination point including the navigation situation occurring during moving along the route has been a subject of many papers and so far has not been definitely solved. In order to determine an optimal and safe route of the ship and its control along it, the author suggests application of an agent system. In the presented agent system three goals are accomplished. The first relies on data acquisition about current navigation situation around the ship and on analysis of possible collision risk. Second target – so far not present in anti-collision systems – relies on automatic negotiations between ships that operate in the same water region or between the coast stations in order to determine the potential area thru which a passing route could have been set. The third one connected to determining the passing route and its autocorrecting depending on current navigation situation.

The objective of this research is to propose an indicator to assess and rank environmental problems caused by production within the food manufacturing sector of Thailand. The factors used to calculate the real benefit included the costs of natural resources, energy and transportation, fertilizer and pesticides, and sanitary and similar service. The highest environmental cost in terms of both natural resources materials and energy and transportation was ice, while the highest environmental cost for fertilizer and pesticides was coconut and palm oil. Confectionery had the highest environmental cost for sanitary and similar services. Overall, real estate gained the highest real benefit, while repair not classified elsewhere had the lowest real benefit for the company. If Thailand uses an indicator of environmental harm, especially within the food manufacturing sector, it could help to formulate efficient policies and strategies for the country in three areas of development, which are social, economic, and environmental development.

The article considers the problems of the energy industry in Ukraine, the causes and consequences of crisis phenomena, due to the influence of an unstable external socio-economic and political environment and imperfect decisions regarding reform and prospects for the development of the industry. Special attention was paid to the analysis of electricity, as one of the most important components of the energy industry in Ukraine. The models and forecasts developed in this work are based on the study of time series data for the main indicators of the electric power industry and can be applied in the development of individual elements of the new Energy Strategy of Ukraine in the conditions of an unstable external socio-economic and political environment in Ukraine.
Artykuł analizuje problemy energetyki na Ukrainie, przyczyny i skutki zjawisk kryzysowych, wywołanych wpływem niestabilnego zewnętrznego otoczenia społeczno-gospodarczego i politycznego oraz niedoskonałych decyzji, dotyczących reformy i perspektyw rozwoju branży. Szczególną uwagę zwrócono na analizę energii elektrycznej, jako jednego z najważniejszych źródeł energetyki na Ukrainie. Modele i prognozy opracowane w tej pracy opierają się na badaniu danych szeregów czasowych dla głównych wskaźników elektroenergetyki i mogą być zastosowane w opracowaniu poszczególnych elementów nowej Strategii Energetycznej Ukrainy, w warunkach niestabilnej sytuacji zewnętrznej środowiska społeczno-gospodarczego i politycznego na Ukrainie.

The ongoing period of the pandemic makes everybody focused on the matters related to fighting this immense problem posed to the societies worldwide. The governments deal with the threat by publishing regulations which should allow to mitigate the pandemic, walking on thin ice as the decision makers do not always know how to properly respond to the threat in order to save people. Computer-based simulations of e.g. parts of the city or rural area should provide significant help, however, there are some requirements to fulfill. The simulation should be verifiable, supported by the urban research and it should be possible to run it in appropriate scale. Thus in this paper we present an interdisciplinary work of urban researchers and computer scientists, proposing a scalable, HPC-grade model of simulation, which was tested in a real scenario and may be further used to extend our knowledge about epidemic spread and the results of its counteracting methods. The paper shows the relevant state of the art, discusses the micro-scale simulation model, sketches out the elements of its implementation and provides tangible results gathered for a part of the city of Krakow, Poland.

W referacie przedstawiono matematyczny deterministyczny model struktury danych w środowisku OLAP w postaci wielowymiarowej i wielopoziomowej kostki. Model został uogólniony na przypadek danych o charakterze rozmytym lub interpretowanych z wykorzystaniem teorii zbiorów rozmytych i logiki rozmytej. Wskazano na możliwości wykonywania analiz jakościowych baz i hurtowni danych w oparciu o przedstawione modele.
The article presents mathematical deterministic model of data structure applied in OLAP environments as multidimensional and multilevel cube. This model is generalized to the fuzzy data or data interpreted with fuzzy sets theory and fuzzy logic. Possibilities of quality analysis of data bases and data warehouses using presented models are described.

The article contains selected results of research on the design Systemic Evolutionary Algorithm inspired by quantum informatics methods and description how to implement it in Matlab language in order to use for improve parameters neural model on example robot robot PR–02 arm motion. Initial population was based on weights matrix of artificial neural network. Randomly selected population of individual chromosomes in both the initial and in the following parent population have been converted to binary values, and these to quantum values by using created for this purpose quatization() function. Quantum gene value was determined on the basis of stonger pure state represented by different chromosomes, to which dequantization() function was used. Selection of individuals was conducted based on the model of neural robot PR–02 motion implemented in Matlab language using calculationsNeuralNetworks() function.

The paper contains selected results of research on the Domestic Power System (DPS) as an unmanned factory. Models of the DPS system of the MISO type, obtained as a result of identification for 14 inputs and 4 outputs were presented. Particular attention was given to the identification and the assessment of the DPS development based on the systems and control theory. The obtained models of the DPS development were analyzed and discussed. The studies were obtained model of the development of the DPS, and on the basis of is knowledge of the structural and parametrical changes of system development. The model can be used to analyze the design and development of the system from the point of view of the growth of internal organization system and the transition to higher levels of control.

The main purpose of the research was to examine the properties of models for two kinds of neural networks, a deep learning models in which the Long Short-Term Memory was chosen and shallow neural model in which the Perceptron Neural Network was chosen. The subject of the examination was the Day-Ahead Market system of PPE S.A. The article presents the learning results of both networks and the results of the predictive abilities of the models. The research was conducted based on data published on the Polish Stock Exchange for the 2018 year. The MATLAB environment was chosen as a tool for providing the examinations. The determination index (R2) and the mean square error (MSE) was adopted as the network evaluation criterion for the learning ability and for the prediction ability of both networks.

On the basis of the analysis of wide temporal monitoring data, a forecast of the integrated hydrochemical indicators of the waters of the Inhul river (Ukraine) was carried out. The performed analysis was also the basis for the determination of a mathematical model of natural fluctuations of the indicators studied. The determined sinusoidal dependence of the integrated water quality indicators allowed determining the average time of fluctuations concerning the processes of self-organisation of river waters. In practice, the developed mathematical models may constitute a valuable support and supplement to the existing models in the field of prediction of self-organization processes of river waters. They may also contribute to even more effective minimization of undesirable effects of anthropogenic impact on aquatic ecosystems.

Publikacja ma charakter naukowo-techniczny i poświęcona jest modelowaniu oraz symulacji pracy generatora wiatrowego w postaci rzeczywistej turbiny wiatrowej o mocy 1,6 kW firmy Travere Industries z systemem magazynowania energii w środowisku MATLAB & SIMULINK. W pracy przedstawiono algorytm implementacji modelu z doborem elementów, które można warunkowo podzielić na dwa podsystemy. Pierwszy podsystem to model, który symuluje turbina wiatrowa za pomocą układu turbina-generator. Zastosowano w nim dwa bloki, z których jeden pełni rolę generatora PMSG, który na wyjściu generuje trójfazowy prąd przemienny (prąd stały dla obciążenia uwzględniono poprzez konwerter mostkowy). Drugi podsystem realizuje magazynowanie energii poprzez dwukierunkową przetwornicę DC/DC, która umożliwia oddzielenie akumulatora od szyny obciążenia. Model turbiny wiatrowej zaimplementowano w środowisku SIMULINK. W artykule przedstawiono oscylogramy z wynikami, uzyskanymi na podstawie symulacji dla różnych wartości prędkości wiatru. Przeprowadzono dokładną analizę otrzymanych wyników badań. Artykuł kończą podsumowanie i wnioski.
The publication is of a scientific and technical nature and is devoted to modeling and simulating the operation of a wind generator in the form of a real wind turbine 1.6 kW from Travere Industries with an energy storage system in the MATLAB & SIMULINK environment. The paper presents the model implementation algorithm with the selection of elements that can be conditionally divided into two subsystems. The first subsystem is a model that simulates a wind turbine with a turbine-generator system. It uses two blocks, one of which acts as a PMSG generator that generates three-phase alternating current at the output (direct current for the load is accounted for through a bridge converter). The second subsystem performs energy storage via a bi-directional DC / DC converter, which allows the battery to be separated from the load bus. The wind turbine model was implemented in the SIMULINK environment. The article presents oscillograms with the results obtained on the basis of simulations for various values of wind speed. A thorough analysis of the obtained test results was carried out. The article ends with a summary and conclusions.

The authors of the paper distinguished two basic problems that occur during the ground handling of aircraft. The first one concerns the identification of disruptions during ground handling that have an impact on the scheduled completion of ground handling. The second problem is determining how these disturbances affect the environment by estimating the increased fuel consumption of the aircraft. In the first step, a catalog of disruptions in the ground handling process of the aircraft, which delays the performance of subsequent aircraft operations, was developed. Simio software was used to analyze the impact of disturbances on the performance of ground service, in which random disturbances were simulated. The simulation was run for several variants, taking into account the sample aircraft and various airlines. The developed model allows for the analysis of the impact of disturbances on the punctual performance of the ground service of the aircraft for various variants with given probability values. In the next step, simulations were performed to determine the impact of the disturbances on the increase in fuel consumption by the aircraft. Research has shown that even minor disruptions increase an aircraft’s fuel consumption over a 200-km flight path. The analyzes carried out in this work are of great importance for sales agents and airlines who strive to minimize the duration of elementary activities and eliminate threats during ground handling. Additionally, it is important from the point of view of environmental protection. As research has shown, even small disturbances can substantially increase fuel consumption, which is not beneficial for airlines. Past research has focused on the analysis of fuel consumption by aircraft and emissions during takeoff and landing operations and taxiing aircraft. There is a large correlation between the disturbances occurring at the parking place and increased fuel consumption, which is important from an economic and environmental point of view.

The aim of the present work is the building of a lumped nonlinear dynamic model of lung/airway mechanics using generic instead of specific software, in an attempt to offer an open simulation environment. Based on the analogy between pneumatic and electric magnitudes, an electrical equivalent circuit of the lung/airway mechanics is derived. Then, the nonlinear circuit elements are constructed by means of the powerful Analog Behavioral Modeling (ABM) building blocks and the system is solved using PSPICE. Following the approach in [3] and [4], five lumps are defined: two capacitors (elastances) corresponding to lung and collapsible airway segment and three resistors, corresponding to lung, collapsible airway segment and upper airway. The element definition involves as much as five parameters for the lung, four parameters for the collapsible segment and two parameters for the upper airway. The model does not attempt to mimic any particular system adjusting a given set of parameters but instead to provide a tool to explore the relationship between a given parameter or set of parameters and the system response. In particular, Forced Vital Capacity (FVC) maneuver and tidal breathing will be explored.

Opis:
The article discusses the concept of mathematical education of pupils of a school and the results of pedagogical research. Being trained to solve the simplest tasks without a deep (thorough) understanding of the meaning of mathematical relationships is not conducive to the development of intellectual abilities and is quickly lost after completing the topic. It is experimentally confirmed that a student aspiring to attain a higher technical education, in addition to computational skills, needs to have an idea about mathematics and its methods, possess logical development, a graphic culture, develop a spatial imagination, independent work skills, the ability, if necessary, to use the appropriate directory to restore specific facts and obtain the necessary information. The research also looks into ways of solving problems with designing the learning environment and elaborating variable models of studying the natural and mathematical sciences with application of certain components of a computer-oriented learning system with the aim of upgrading pupils’ performance (a mass model, the main model and the creative model – an advanced level). The structuring of knowledge and the correct correlation of the selected types of knowledge develop the content of profile education, taking into account significant differentiation and the possibility of building an individual educational curriculum for schoolchildren, and also contributes to the filling of the three most important components of the content of profile training: basic invariant, profile variational and additional ones.
Omówiono koncepcję edukacji matematycznej uczniów szkoły oraz wyniki pedagogicznych badań naukowych. Wyćwiczenie w rozwiązywaniu najprostszych zadań bez głębszego (świadomego) rozumienia sensu zasad matematycznych nie sprzyja rozwojowi zdolności intelektualnych i jest szybko zapominane po zakończeniu przerobionego tematu. Uczeń zamierzający uzyskać wyższe wykształcenie techniczne oprócz nawyków obliczeniowych powinien zdobyć wiedzę o matematyce i jej metodach, osiągnąć rozwój logiczny, kulturę graficzną, rozwiniętą wyobraźnię przestrzenną, nawyki samodzielnej pracy, umiejętność pozwalającą, w koniecznym przypadku, skorzystać z odpowiedniego źródła w celu ustalenia konkretnych faktów i otrzymać niezbędne informacje. Strategia realizacji nauczania profilowanego przewiduje oddzielenie poziomu ogólnokształcącego od poziomu profilowanego. W badaniu zostały również omówione sposoby rozwiązania zadań projektowania środowiska uczenia się i tworzenia modeli z zastosowaniem poszczególnych składników komputerowo-zorientowanego systemu kształcenia w celu poprawy wyników uczniów. Przeprowadzona strukturyzacja wiedzy i prawidłowe zestawienie wydzielonych typów wiadomości pozwalają na opracowanie treści nauczania profilowego, zakładającego znaczne zróżnicowanie i możliwość ułożenia dla uczniów indywidualnego programu nauczania (model masowy, model podstawowy i model twórczy – wyższy). W badaniu biorą udział metodycy w celu przeprowadzenia eksperymentów w szkolnej praktyce dla określenia zdolności intelektualnych, rezultaty są również analizowane na podstawie badań eksperymentalnych.
