    The article is devoted to the complex analysis of the preconditions, causes, course and consequences of reforming the content, forms and methods of vocational training of mentally retarded students in Ukraine (second half of the 20th century). The interrelations are substantiated between state strategies of socio-economic development of Ukraine and social demands for the training of mentally retarded students for work, the influence of educational paradigms on the functioning of the system of labor training of students. We developed the periodization of reforming the content, forms and methods of vocational and labour training of mentally retarded students in Ukraine in the second half of the 20th century and described the main tendencies, features and contradictions of development of each of the stages. In particular, it has been proved that the content, forms and methods of vocational training of mentally retarded students formed a specially selected and pedagogically perfected system of knowledge, skills and practice reflected in regulations, curriculum, syllabi and textbooks. The educational and methodological support of vocational training is developed taking into account the peculiarities of mental development and potential cognitive abilities of students. We evaluated the contribution of Ukrainian scholars in oligophrenopedagogics to the development and implementation of content, methods, forms of labour training and didactic functions of labour (educational, developmental, informative, remedial), which are interconnected and carried out in dialectical unity

    Procesy mrozowe wpływają nie tylko na roślinność, lecz także na przekształcenia rzeźby terenu oraz na liczne elementy infrastruktury technicznej. W artykule przedstawiono przykłady możliwości przeciwdziałania powstawaniu wysadzin mrozowych. W tym celu wykorzystuje się szereg metod zależnych od kilku czynników: uziarnienia gruntu, jego uwilgotnienia oraz klimatu. Do najczęściej stosowanych zabiegów ograniczenia skutków działania procesów mrozowych zalicza się: zastępowanie materiału (w tym dynamiczną wymianę gruntu), izolację cieplną, przechwycenia wody, metodę chemiczną, zamrażanie gruntu, czasowe przeciążenia i odciążenia, zastrzyki oraz zmianę niwelety drogi
    Frost actions have influence not only on relief transformation, but also on vegetation, and above all, on infrastructure elements. In this paper methods to counteract results of frost action are presented. Mostly they depend on the following factors: grain size, soil humidity and climate. Most popular methods to counteract frost action processes are: material replacement method, insolation, water interception, chemical methods, ground freezing, dynamic exchange, temporary overload and relief, injection and changing road level.

    The article deals with the effects of improved methods of training 7–12 year old children at the initial stage of long-term training using specialized Judo Games. Modern methods of training in many sports, Judo in particular, are characterized by early specialization. In this regard there could be observed immaturity of some existing training programs when age-related features of beginners are not taken into consideration, and as a result children’s health is suffering unfortunate consequences. Methods of initial Judo training open vast space for perfection and development of this kind of sports. The author initiated and practiced teaching and training process at the IT (initial training) stage Judo beginners by using Judo games as means of full development of physical features and shaping combat skills. This experiment proved to be actual and practically valuable.

    Wstęp i cel pracy: Leki antyagregacyjne odgrywają istotną rolę w prewencji chorób sercowo-naczyniowych. Ważnym problemem klinicznym może stanowić brak skuteczności leczenia przeciwpłytkowego u niektórych chorych. Celem niniejszej pracy jest przedstawienie mechanizmów działania leków antyagregacyjnych, ich roli w terapii, a przede wszystkim głównych przyczyn braku wrażliwości na leczenie przeciwpłytkowe oraz klinicznych konsekwencji tego zjawiska, a także metod badania oporności na leczenie. Materiał i metody: Na podstawie dostępnego piśmiennictwa autorzy przedstawili najważniejsze kliniczne aspekty związane z prowadzeniem leczenia przeciwpłytkowego oraz opisali dostępne metody badania oporności na leki przeciwpłytkowe. Wyniki: Opracowano zestawienie mechanizmów działania leków przeciwpłytkowych oraz klinicznych testów inhibicji płytek krwi. Wnioski: Każdy pacjent, u którego stwierdzono oporność na leczenie przeciwpłytkowe, powinien mieć indywidualnie ustalone dawki stosowanych leków oraz wyznaczone tzw. okno terapeutyczne zwłaszcza, że brak jest wytycznych dotyczących postępowania w przypadku potwierdzenia oporności na leki przeciwpłytkowe.
    Introduction and aim: Antiplatelet drugs play an important role in the prevention of cardiovascular diseases. An important clinical problem seems to be the lack of efficacy of antiplatelet therapy in some patients. The aim of this paper is to present the mechanisms of action of antiaggregants, their role in therapy, the main reasons for the lack of sensitivity to antiplatelet therapy and clinical consequences of this phenomenon, as well as methods used for testing resistance to treatment. Material and methods: On the grounds of the available literature, the authors present the most important clinical aspects related to antiplatelet therapy and describe available methods for testing resistance to antiplatelet therapy. Results: The table of mechanisms of action of antiplatelet drugs and clinical tests of platelet blood inhibition have been eleborated in the paper. Conclusion: Any patient diagnosed with resistance to antiplatelet therapy should have individually prescribed doses of drugs and determined the so-called therapeutic window - particularly as there are no guidelines for dealing with confirmed resistance to antiplatelet drugs.

    Opis:
    W artykule przedstawiono analizę zawartości treści trzech periodyków wydawanych przez Instytut Bibliotekoznawstwa i Informacji Naukowej Uniwersytetu Śląskiego w Katowicach: „Studia Bibliologiczne”, „Bibliotheca Nostra” i „Nowa Biblio- teka”, w zakresie ochrony i konserwacji zbiorów bibliotecznych przed zniszczeniem. Zgromadzony materiał dowodzi, że zagadnienie ochrony zbiorów stanowi aktualny i ważny temat badawczy. Wyniki analizy pozwoliły stwierdzić, iż autorzy publikujący na łamach wymienionych wydawnictw najwięcej miejsca poświęcili zagrożeniom fizykochemicznym i mechanicznym, a także metodom renowacji zagrożonych egzemplarzy. Wskazywali przyczyny obniżenia trwałości papieru, przykłady dobrych praktyk, działania profilaktyczne ukierunkowane na ochronę zasobów przed całkowitą destrukcją.
    The article presents an analysis of the content of three periodicals pub lished by the Institute of Library Science of the University of Silesia in Katowice: “Studia Bibliologiczne”, “Bibliotheca Nostra” and “Nowa Biblioteka”, in reference to the subject -matter devoted to the protection and the conservation of library collections against damage. The amount of the material which was collected indicates that the problem of the protection of collections constitutes a topical and an important research subject. The results of the analysis enabled one to state that the authors who published their work in the periodicals which are analysed focused on the physico -chemical and physical threats, as well as on the methods of the renovation of the threatened specimens. They indicated the reasons of the deterioration of the durability of the paper, the examples of good practices, as well as preventive actions whose purpose is to save the collections from utter destruction.
