Opis:
Interpolation of ship motion vectors is able to be used for estimating the lost ship AIS dynamic information, which is important for replaying marine accidents and for analysing marine traffic data. The previous methods can only interpolate ship’s position, while not including ship's course and speed. In this paper, vector function is used to express the relationship between the ship’s time and space coordinates, and the tangent of the vector function and its change rate are able to express physical characteristics of ship’s course, speed and acceleration. The given AIS dynamic information can be applied to calculate the parameters of ship's vector function and then the interpolation model for ship motion vectors is developed to estimate the lost ship dynamic information at any given moment. Experiment results show that the ship motion vector function is able to depict the characteristics of ship motions accurately and the model can estimate not only the ship’s position but also ship’s course and speed at any given moment with limited differences.

Let \(E\) be an ideal of \(L^0\) over \(\sigma\)-finite measure space \((\Omega, \Sigma, \mu)\) and let \((X, \| \cdot \|_X)\) be a real Banach space. Let \(E(X)\) be a subspace of the space \(L^0(X)\) of \(\mu\)-equivalence classes of all strongly \(\Sigma\)-measurable functions \(f\colon \Omega \to X\) and consisting of all those \(f\in L^0(X)\), for which the scalar function \(\tilde{f} = \|f (\cdot)\|_X\) belongs to \(E\). Let \(E\) be equipped with a Hausdorff locally convex-solid topology \(\xi\) and let \(\xi\) stand for the topology on \(E(X)\) associated with \(\xi\). We examine the relationship between the properties of the space \((E(X), \xi)\) and the properties of both the spaces \((E, \xi)\) and \((X, \|· \|_X)\). In particular, it is proved that \(E(X)\) (embedded in a natural way) is an order closed ideal of its bidual iff \(E\) is an order closed ideal of its bidual and \(X\) is reflexive. As an application, we obtain that \(E(X)\) is perfect iff \(E\) is perfect and \(X\) is reflexive.

We study planar polynomial differential equations with homogeneous components. This kind of equations present a simple and well known dynamics when the degrees (n and m) of both components coincide. Here we consider the case $n\ne m$ and we show that the dynamics is more complicated. In fact, we prove that such systems can exhibit periodic orbits only when nm is odd. Furthermore, for nm odd we give examples of such differential equations with at least (n+m)/2 limit cycles.

The paper presents mathematical model of complex evaluation of the quality of production with optimizing indicators of crop growing. Multicriterion model is reduced to the problem of optimizing with the predetermined target function which considers almost all parameters of the prodution quality. The model takes into account limits of modifications of quality characteristics of production by introducing the indistinct description of the quality characteristics of productions. The model was developed on the example of evaluating quality of the barley grain.

Opis:
The purpose of this paper is to analyse the impact of foreign direct investments net inflows on changes in GDP value in Poland in the period between 1994 and 2012 with the use of the Cobb-Douglas production function. The paper consist of five parts. Parts I and II present some aspects of the FDI influence on economic growth from the theoretical and empirical point of view. Part III defines conditions indispensable for the positive FDI impact on the economy of the host country. Part IV outlines changes of FDI flows in Poland in the period of 1994-2012. Part V includes the main assumptions of the Cobb-Douglas production function and an estimate of changes in GDP value for Poland in the period 1994–2012 with the use of the VECM. The factors significant for economic growth are also identified, including the significance of the net FDI inflows. Eventually, the effect of gross fixed capital formation, employment, FDI net inflows, exports and R&D on changes in the GDP value are determined.

Within the framework of the study of radiative corrections to the polarization observed in elastic ed- scattering in leptonic variables have been calculated the Born values of vector , and tensor , , asymmetries. The deuteron wave functions in coordinate representation for eight nucleon-nucleon potentials (Nijm1, Nijm2, Nijm93, Reid93, Argonne v18, OBEPC, MT and Paris) have been used for numerical calculations of vector and tensor asymmetries. The angular-momentum dependence of values vector and tensor asymmetries have been also evaluated in 3D format for Reid93 potentials.

In this paper the vector optimization problem P with continuous and convex objective functions on a compact convex feasible set is considered. We form a new vector optimisation problem P* from P by adding an objective function to the problem P. The necessary and sufficient conditions for the sets of efficient solutions of these two problems to be equal are given. In the case where the set of efficient solutions of the problem P* contains that of P, we also suggest how the difference between the sets of efficient solutions of the problems P* and P might be evaluated. Examples are given to illustrate our results.
W artykule rozważa się zadanie optymalizacji wektorowej P z ciągłymi i wypukłymi funkcjami celu na zwartym wypukłym zbiorze rozwiazań dopuszczalnych. Tworzymy nowe zadanie optymalizacji wektorowej P* poprzez dodanie funkcji celu do zadania P. Podano warunki konieczne i wystarczające do tego, by zbiory rozwiązań sprawnych obu zadań były równe. Dla przypadku, gdy zbiór rozwiązan sprawnych zadania P* zawiera odpowiedni zbiór dla P, zaproponowano także sposób oceny różnicy między tymi zbiorami rozwiązań sprawnych. Wyniki podane w artykule zostały zilustrowane przykładami.

W warunkach sztormowych tratwa podlega dynamicznym oddziaływaniom środowiska morskiego czyli uderzeniom wiatru, fali oraz zmianom nachylenia fali. During a storm the life raft is subject to dynamical wind and wave forces. The probabilistic evaluation of the life raft safety is closely connected with random events and values of hydrological and meteorological conditions and the raft load. It is necessary to obtain the risk function of raft safety against capsizing.

https://doi.org/10.26485/0459-6854/2018/68.2/2 We consider monogenic functions taking values in a topological vector space being an expansion of a certain infinite-dimensional commutative Banach algebra associated with the three-dimensional Laplace equation. We establish also integral theorems for monogenic functions taking values in the mentioned algebra and the mentioned topological vector space.

Opis:
In this article an analytical solution of the problem of scattering of electromagnetic waves on bi-isotropic spherical shell has been presented. Secondary electromagnetic fields are introduced as a superposition of spherical vector wave functions. The solution of the boundary problem is reduced to solving a system of linear algebraic equations for the coefficients which are included in the presentation of the secondary fields. The formula to calculate the directional diagram of electric field in the far field and numerical results for different values of parameters have been obtained. The results may find practical application in the development and design of electromagnetic screens.
W artykule przedstawiono analityczne rozwiązanie problemu rozpraszania fal elektromagnetycznych na biizotropowej powłoce kulistej. Wtórne fale elektromagnetyczne są przedstawiane jako superpozycja funkcji falowych wektora kulistego. Rozwiązanie problemu brzegowego zostało zredukowane do rozwiązania układu liniowych równań algebraicznych dla współczynników, które są zawarte w opisie pól wtórnych. Otrzymano wzór do obliczania diagramu kierunkowego pola elektrycznego w części pola oddalonej na dużą odległość od źródła promieniowania oraz otrzymano wyniki liczbowe dla różnych wartości parametrów. Wyniki mogą znaleźć praktyczne zastosowanie w rozwoju i projektowaniu ekranów elektromagnetycznych.
