    The present paper is aimed at sharing practical experience of organizing active interaction with Maritime English students of remote groups in conditions of permanent online teaching and learning processes. The authors explore various strategies that can be integrated into the design and development of tailored e-books and tutors’ e-courses to foster high level of Maritime English students’ online interaction. In addition, the use of modern digital tools for the successful running of e-books and e-courses is discussed as well as the role these tools play in promoting atmosphere of interaction to allow students be deeply engaged into learning activities and contribute to genuine discussion. A few aspects considered with regard to the process of designing e-books and e-courses are accessibility of learning materials, integration of design elements, and development of students’ online community, encouraging discussions and application of effective assessment methods. The study examines their experience of teaching Maritime English using Moodle and Zoom platforms. The findings of the study can be useful for educators to promote more interactive online learning.

    The paper presents the model of interaction between ship’s tank structure and water contained in the tank. The experimental investigation of sloshing loads in ships’ tank is characterized and the need for description of mutual influence is underlined. The model of interaction is made up for rectangular ship’s tanks and it is assumed to be in time-domain and nonlinear. The solution is based on the data obtained by the experimental research and numerical simulation. The study may be the contribution to more sophisticated estimation of ship’s stability than it takes place nowadays.

    The report provides an assessment of the innovation factor in the reindustrialisation of Eastern Siberia, based on data on R&D costs and the introduction of innovative products. The Krasnoyarsk Territory has the greatest innovative potential, followed by the Irkutsk Region. The terms of modernisation of industrial complexes in Krasnoyarsk and Irkutsk were compared on the basis of the triple helix model. This model formalises the interrelation of production with university education and the development of interaction between all parties of the innovation process. The leadership of the Krasnoyarsk Territory was confirmed by a more developed innovation infrastructure of universities that interact with local engineering and aerospace corporations. Industrial production of the Irkutsk oblast is more focused on the extraction of minerals and the production of primary processing goods due to its more eastern position and dependence on the needs of the Chinese market.

    In the classic water hammer (WH) theory, 1D liquid flow in a quasi-rigid pipe is assumed. When the pipe is flexible or is fixed to the foundation with elastic supports, the dynamic fluid structure interaction (FSI) should be taken into account for more accurate modelling of the system behaviour. The standard model of WH-FSI for a straight pipe reach is governed by fourteen hyperbolic partial differential equations of the first order, two for 1D liquid flow and twelve for 3D motion of the pipe. This model is presented in the paper and an algorithm for its numerical solution based of the method of characteristics is proposed. Basic boundary conditions (BC) are shortly discussed. The important condition at the junction of two subpipes fixed to the foundation with a viscoelastic support is presented in details and a general method of its solution is proposed.

    Perturbation du cadre temporel et participatif de l’interaction sur les forums de discussion en ligneL’article a pour but de décrire quelques perturbations du modèle traditionnel de l’interaction verbale dans le contexte des forum de discussion en ligne. L’analyse concerne les topics relevés sur des forums français, où l’interaction, une fois terminée, est reprise et poursuivie après une longue période (parfois après plusieurs mois ou années). Ce relancement est possible puisque le topic est ouvert indéfiniment, ce qui permet de se référer à n’importe quel post et à tout moment. Du point de vue théorique, cela affecte les paramètres de base de l’interaction traditionnellement comprise : son cadre temporel (extension de la durée de la discussion), sa structure (manque de formules de clôture) et sa configuration actantielle. Cette pratique, bien qu’évitable dans les interactions face-to-face, est naturelle et fréquente dans les discussions sur les forums en ligne.
    The aim of this paper is to describe some disturbances of the traditional model of verbal in interactions developed on online discussion forums. The analysis focuses on the description of topics raised on French forums, where the interaction, once completed, is continued after a long period. The discussion can be restarted since the topic is open indefinitely, which allows to refer to any post at any time. From a theoretical point of view, this affects the basic parameters of the traditionally understood verbal interaction, namely its time frame (extension of the duration of the discussion), its structure (lack of closing formulas), as well as its participation framework. This practice, although unusual in face-to-face interactions, is quite natural and frequent in discussions on online forums.
    Celem niniejszego artykułu jest opisanie kilku zaburzeń tradycyjnego modelu interakcji słownej w dyskusjach prowadzonych na forach internetowych. Analiza skupia się na opisie przypadków wątków dyskusyjnych prowadzonych na forach francuskojęzycznych, gdzie raz zakończona interakcja zostaje wznowiona i kontynuowana po dłuższym czasie (niekiedy po kilku miesiącach lub latach). Podjęcie dyskusji jest możliwe dzięki temu, że wątek jest bezterminowo otwarty, co pozwala na nawiązanie do dowolnej wypowiedzi w dowolnej chwili. Z punktu widzenia teoretycznego wpływa to na podstawowe parametry tradycyjnie rozumianej interakcji słownej, mianowicie na jej ramy czasowe (rozszerzenie czasu trwania dyskusji), strukturę (brak formuł zamykających dyskusję), a także na konfigurację aktancyjną uczestników dyskusji. Praktyka ta, choć niespotykana w interakcji bezpośredniej (face-to-face), jest całkowicie naturalna i często używana w dyskusjach na forach internetowych.

    This study is part of a broader study that examined the correlation between cognitive, psychological, and behavioural abilities in parents and their children. It focuses on the correlations between attitude to disability and the integration of people with disabilities among parents and their children. This study is a two-part integrated study. In the first part, the data were collected and analysed according to a quantitative methodology to examine access to disabilities, the integration of people with disabilities, and the factors that influence attitudes, feelings, and willingness to integrate with the general population. In the second part, the data were collected and analysed according to a qualitative methodology in order to examine the relationship of attitudes of parents and their children towards people with disabilities and the integration of people with disabilities.

    Opis:
    The issue of identity is the subject for research in many sciences, especially psychology and sociology. Two types of identity are distinguished: personal and social ones. Personal identity provides an individual with a sense of one’s own uniqueness while social identity indicates that a man has a sense of belonging to other people, given groups or organisations and is aware of one’s own place in the world. The identity worldview model uses such concepts as ‘value’, ‘cultural pattern’ or ‘ethos’. The concept of identity is, in this case, understood as a set of permanent features of one’s self developed among the members of a given group. The premises originate from the features of the social structure or entirely, anthropologically understood culture of the given community. The identity worldview model also refers to a thesis on a change in the conditions of an individual’s psychosocial existence in the contemporary society.
    Problem tożsamości jest przedmiotem badań wielu dziedzin nauki, szczególnie psychologii i socjologii. Odróżnia się tożsamość osobistą od tożsamości społecznej. Tożsamość osobista zapewnia poczucie własnej niepowtarzalności, natomiast tożsamość społeczna wskazuje, iż człowiek ma poczucie przynależności do innych ludzi, do określonych grup, organizacji, a także ma świadomość posiadania swojego miejsca w świecie. Światopoglądowy model tożsamości posługuje się takimi pojęciami, jak wartość, wzór kulturowy lub etos. Koncepcja tożsamości pojmowana jest w tym przypadku jako zbiór trwałych przesłanek obrazu własnej osoby, ukształtowanych wśród członków danej zbiorowości. Przesłanki te wywodzą się z cech struktury społecznej lub całościowo, antropologicznie pojmowanej kultury tejże zbiorowości. Światopoglądowy model tożsamości odwołuje się również do tezy o zmianie warunków psychospołecznej egzystencji jednostki we współczesnym społeczeństwie

    The subject of this paper is an assessment of the accuracy of a solution based on the linear theory of elasticity describing the interaction of a cylindrical reinforced concrete tank with the subsoil. The subsoil was modelled in the form of an elastic half-space and Winkler springs. The behaviour of the shell structure of the RC cylindrical tank, and particularly of the ground slab interacting with the subsoil, depends largely on the distribution of the reactions on the foundation surface. An analysis of this structure with the shell fixed in a circular ground slab was carried out taking into consideration the elastic half-space model using the Gorbunov-Posadov approach and, for comparison, the two-parameter Winkler model. Although the results for both subsoil models proved to be divergent, the conclusions that follow the accuracy assessment of a solution based on the theory of elasticity are fairly important for engineering practice.

    W pracy dokonano przeglądu wybranych, proponowanych w literaturze, przybliżonych, prostych modeli uwzględniających zjawisko współpracy podłoże-budynek (j. ang.: soil-structure interaction – SSI) podczas trzęsień ziemi. Analizowano przydatność tych modeli do prognozowania różnic między jednocześnie zachodzącymi drganiami gruntu obok budynku i fundamentu budynku, których źródłem były wstrząsy górnicze w Legnicko-Głogowskim Okręgu Miedziowym (LGOM). Skupiono się na ocenie dokładności modeli w przypadku ich stosowania do wyznaczania relacji odpowiednich spektrów odpowiedzi: bezwymiarowych przyśpieszeniowych spektrów odpowiedzi (β) oraz wymiarowych przyśpieszeniowych spektrów odpowiedzi (Sa) od drgań poziomych. Pod uwagę wzięto różnego typu budynki.
    This paper presents the selected, proposed in the literature, approximate, simple models which take into account the phenomenon of soil-structure interaction (SSI) during earthquakes. The usefulness of these models for the prediction of the differences between mine-induced vibrations in the Legnica-Glogow Copperfield (LGOM) occurring at the same time on the ground near the buildings and building foundations is analysed. The focus is on the evaluation of the accuracy of the models in the case of their application for the estimation of the relation (ratio) between the corresponding response spectra: non-dimension acceleration response spectra (β) as well as dimension averaged acceleration response spectra (Sa) from the horizontal vibrations. Various types of buildings are taken into account.

    Mathematical models of vehicle wheel with metal scales are introduced in this article. When analysing the interaction between vehicle wheel with a metal scale and rail in the system “Vehicle – Track”, the changes of the kinematic and dynamic parameters of the wheel and rail contact points in time are examined, depending on the height of the 2 mm metal scale, when the length of the metal scale is 100 mm and the speed of movement is V = 40 - 100 km/h. The results obtained after the research of the system “Vehicle – Track”, when the wheel has a metal scale, help to better understand and evaluate the impact of metal scale on wheel on dynamic loads of rail and vehicle and the regularities of their movement. The appearance of a metal scale on the wheel’s surface causes technical and maintenances problems for the rolling stock. Railway standards limit the speed of movement that depends on a certain size of metal scale.
    W niniejszym artykule przedstawiono modele matematyczne koła pojazdu szynowego z powstałą w wyniku zużycia metalową łuską. Analizując oddziaływania pomiędzy kołem pojazdu z łuską a szyną w układzie "pojazd–tor", badano zmiany kinematycznych i dynamicznych parametrów punktów kontaktu koła z szyną zachodzące w czasie, w zależności od wysokości metalowej łuski (2mm), przy długości łuski 100 mm i zakresie prędkości ruchu pojazdu V = 40–100 km/h. Wyniki uzyskane w badaniu układu "pojazd–tor" dla kół na powierzchni których powstała metalowa łuska, umożliwiają lepsze zrozumienie oraz ocenę wpływu łuski na dynamiczne obciążenia szyny i pojazdu oraz prawidłowości ruchu pojazdu. Pojawienie się metalowej łuski na powierzchni koła powoduje problemy techniczne i obsługowe w utrzymaniu ruchu taboru kolejowego. Normy kolejowe ograniczają prędkość ruchu pojazdów szynowych, uzależniając ją od rozmiaru łuski.

    The personality and creativity of Jean-Jacques Rousseau are multifaceted, sometimes difficult to structure and observe in modern humanistic theorizations, although the idea of a special social function of personal sovereignty and the idea of history as a meaningful synthesis of historical facts have not lost their relevance today, if we find the necessary range of review and ways of implementation. Another example – the idea of education as a system, which should be the very nature – the nature of the pupil, the “nature-loving” educator, and the natural educational process itself. If we consider the idea of following the natural pupil so as to create conditions for detection, disclosure, and facilitating the full deployment of the individual capacities of the pupil, this idea is at least highly relevant. This is an aspect of the modern psychological, pedagogical, and even – political – mainstream, the focus of what is most concerned about contemporary human society and its various institutions. If we consider that the idea of naturalness facilitates the educational process as a way of bringing it closer to some “maieutic” ideal – it is also one of the centrifugal issues of modern pedagogy and educational affairs in general, the question – how to make the process – non-violent, opening prospects, and not prevent them from forming the ability to independently explore the world and find ways of acting effectively in it. If we treat the idea of the “nature-loving” educator as subtly and carefully acting in relation to any of the manifestations of the pupil, thereby unleashing the potential of the tutor, is not this the way to pre-empt all types of “burn up” (both professional, and emotional) for the modern educator in the broad sense of the word – “sculptor of human souls”? In this article with the elements of an essay – the proposal is to make a fascinating excursion, full of unexpected discoveries into the world of Rousseau.
