Today, the digital revolution has also caught up with the administration. The digitalisation of the (public) administration has strong links to the security issues. Digitalisation could be interpreted as one of the tools for the good governance and it has several challenges, as well. In this article the situation and the challenges on the cybersecurity issues of e-administration services and practice of Hungarian municipalities will be analysed. The challenges and risks are significant, because of the fragmented Hungarian municipal system by which the economic power of the Hungarian municipalities is relatively limited. If we look at the regulation it was focused on the development a horizontally integrated e-administration. Although the acts on this system have been passed in the last years, and the former restrictions of the electronic administration have been eliminated, but the practice of the Hungarian e-administration is partly different. The new, enhanced e-administration resulted new challenges, which was partly solved by the radical nationalisation and centralisation of the former municipally performed tasks. The municipal e-administration systems have been built mainly by the largest municipalities, but their operation could be further developed, and thus the municipal cybersecurity is a developing part of the Hungarian public administration tasks, as well.

Today, the digital revolution has also caught up with the administration. The digitalisation of the (public) administration has strong links to the security issues. Digitalisation could be interpreted as one of the tools for the good governance and it has several challenges, as well. The public administrations, as well, the Hungarian administrative law has been significantly impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. The administrative procedural law has been influenced by the epidemic transformation. However, the rules on e-administration have not been reformed significantly (due to the digitalisation reforms of the last years), but several regulations and mainly the practice of the Hungarian administration has been transformed during the last two years. The pandemic situation had several challenges and opportunities, by which the traditional way of administration has been altered during these two years.

Digital transformation through innovative and technological development is important for economic growth and competitiveness. Digitization also influences the development of the information society. As research shows, the subject of interest in modern society is sustainable development. The aim of the article is to identify the role of digitalization in the implementation of sustainable development in the context of stakeholders. The analysis showed that the implementation of sustainable development goals is particularly important for stakeholders who, in the era of digitalization, have much greater access to information. In turn, by disclosing the results of implementing sustainable development goals, companies can build long-term relationships with customers, local communities and other stakeholder groups, creating the basis for the future of business development.

The rapid development of modern technology and the increasing number of FinTechs can bring new competition challenges to incumbents. First, the author identifies the most important technologies implemented in the financial sector, such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, APIs, cloud computing, mobile technology and DLT. Next, she analyses BigTechs’ customer-centric platform-based business model and its impact on competition in the financial sector. The expansion of BigTechs into finance should lower the barriers to entry by reducing information and transaction costs, and thereby enhance financial inclusion. However, the long-term impact could be negative as BigTechs can exploit their market power to increase user switching costs and/or to exclude potential competitors. The impact of smaller FinTechs on competition seems to be more beneficial as they rather collaborate than compete with incumbents (especially with banks) while bank – FinTech alliances aim at improving the prospects and the market value of both FinTechs and banks.

This paper is part of the study, for the creation of maintenance engineering culture and a system capable to control the input and output of vehicles operation and maintenance in developing countries. The focus of this paper will be the use of digital technologies to change business models, basing on the analyses of the data collected to develop innovation in transport system by creation of a system that works according to the local needs. This work has, as case of study, the transport system in Cape Verde (Praia city); a bus company, operating in the city for more than 40 years, will provide the data for analyses. The study of the exploitation efficiency of the transport system will focus in the analyses of the data collected, after the definition of the data for collection, is defined how the data will be analysed and used in order to create the desired solution. In this paper is also defined the platform used for data collection. The definition and selection of the vehicle systems/components for data collection has been supported by engineers and mechanics with long experience and knowledge of the local situation as well as vehicles operation and maintenance. The information that, if collected and analysed correctly, can help transform the vehicle operation and maintenance, data collection can empower us to direct resources toward the modules that are in most pressing need of technical refinement. With this knowledge base, we will be able to use predictive analysis to identify what, how and where to improve the services and manage the vehicle maintenance and operation.

The aim of this analysis is to examine the characteristics of the Airbnb network, to verify the share of Airbnb offers that belong to the sharing economy and to identify the differences between the spatial distribution of the Airbnb network and the traditional hotel industry. The article is based on a unique dataset of web-scraped data on Airbnb listings in Warsaw (Poland), combined with district-level official statistics on the hotel industry. The analysis shows that only approximately 11% of offers belong to the sharing economy (“individuals granting each other temporary access to their under-utilised assets”), while at least one third of offers are provided by professional firms. The Airbnb network shows a strong centre-periphery pattern, with 75% of offers located within a range of 4.3 kilometres from the centre. The spatial concentration of Airbnb offers is strongly driven by their distance from metro lines, while it is weakly related to the amount of living space. On the district-level, the spatial distribution of Airbnb listings is correlated with that of the hotel industry, although Airbnb contributes to a more even spread of tourism in the city. The major contribution of this analysis is its presentation of the size and characteristics of the platform, which is essential for data-driven policy making.

Opis:
Purpose. Digitalization has contributed to the dynamic development of both the private and professional lives of many people. The form of physical and virtual tools has brought huge benefits but also there have been some negative effects of transferring everyday affairs to virtual space. The aim of the article is to try to identify the structures of digitalization in the Polish TFL sector and to present the advantages, disadvantages, development opportunities and threats arising from the use of modern electronic infrastructure in the activities of TFL enterprises. Methodology. The study was carried out using the desk research method and in-depth interview. Using the first research technique an outline of the discussion was created and the structure of the vertical division of digitalization was identified. In-depth interviews with dozens of people performing various functions in the TFL sector allowed to increase the thematic scope with empirical data which allowed to characterize the horizontal structure. The results were condensed in the form of a SWOT analysis. Findings. The research confirmed the possibility of a two-structure approach to the digitalization of the TFL sector enterprises and that digitalization can have both positive and  negative impact on the activities of those enterprises.

In the opinion of the author, doubts are raised as to the manner of determining the scope of the tax and the tax base by relating these elements of the tax to the so‑called significant digital presence of the digital sector enterprise in the territory of Poland. The amount of the tax rate (7%) also raises doubts. The introduction of a  tax on certain digital services may also be associated with a decrease in income tax revenues of the state and local government budgets.

This article shows the results of narrative interviews and the analysis of the phenomenon diffusion of responsibility. It deals with small and medium sized newspaper companies and their problems regarding the market transformations, shrinking customers, responsibility problems and the digi- talization. The sustainability of engineering education depends on a strategic vision in university education. The strategic vision of education at technical universities is orientated to knowledge, digitization, online education, innovative methods in education, all forms of Management and business education platform. The main goal of this article is the creation of the model of engineering education at the technical university based on synergy effect of the economic subjects of study, digitalization, all forms of management, and innovative didactic methods with direction to future education. In this research we realized project "Student firms" by using digitalization, e-learning approach in education and connecting all form of management as in business environment. Results of the implemented "Student Firms" project at the university recorded benefits in improving students' key competencies, soft skills, social competencies, financial, economic competencies, and their impact on the level of evaluation of subjects of study. The output of the research was the design of a model of engineering education at the university. This model can be a tool for making changes in education at university for his sustainability in the future.

Digitalizacja to nieodłączny proces postępu technologicznego w wielu dziedzinach, również w zakresie rozwoju sektora bankowego. W Polsce proces ten osiągnął bardzo wysoki poziom wpływając nie tylko na sferę usprawniania technologii i ulepszania danych elementów, ale również na zakres wykorzystania. Z procesów mających usprawniać pracę człowieka i wspierać go w czynnościach służących przede wszystkim klientom, ewoluowało do miana w wielu aspektach alternatywy dla czynnika ludzkiego. Postęp niesie za sobą zarówno korzyści i nieuniknione zmiany, ale również trudności z tym związane w wielu aspektach bankowości. Niniejsze opracowanie służy wskazaniu obszarów digitalizacji sektora bankowego oraz konsekwencji za tym idących dla bankowości w zakresie kadrowym. Za hipotezę przyjmuje się iż digitalizacja sektora bankowego ma znaczący wpływ na obecną i przyszłą strukturę zatrudnienia w sektorze bankowym w Polsce.
Digitalization is an inseparable process of technological progress in many areas, also in the area of banking sector development. In Poland, this process has reached a very high level, affecting not only the area of technology improvement and improvement of given elements, but also the scope of use. From processes designed to improve human work and support it in activities that primarily serve customers, it has evolved into many aspects of alternatives to the human factor. Progress brings both benefits and unavoidable changes, but also difficulties related to this in many aspects of banking. This study is aimed at identifying the areas of digitalization of banking sector and the consequences for banking in human resources field. The hypothesis assumes that the digitalization of the banking sector has a significant impact on the current and future structure of employment in the banking sector in Poland.

One of the tasks of the project presented in this paper was to document, reconstruct in 3D, and visualize a collection of Neolithic pottery from the area of Lesser Poland. The digitization was performed using a structured-light scanner and, in two cases, photogrammetric software. The reconstructions were modelled on the basis of digital representations of scans of original fragments by adding successive layers of the reconstructed shape directly onto the recorded artefact. Apart from preparation of source files for sharing, a number of visualisations were made, including renders and 3D animations.

This paper discusses the transformation from analogue to digital agriculture (smart farming) and the laws and regulations affecting the governance of agricultural data in the EU. It is argued that the current legal and policy framework in the EU is insufficient to serve the needs of responsible smart farming systems. Specifi c characteristics of farm data and patterns in farm data collection and use contribute to market failuresin agricultural data markets and hence to the insufficient provision of public goods through agriculture. The key parts of the smart farming data value chain are shaped by private contractual agreements between farmer and agricultural technology providers that do not take into account the potential negative externalities of established data flows. There is a strong rationale for a new data economy for EU agriculture, implying a greater involvement of the state in the smart farming data value chain. Interventions would be needed both to support the ecosystem for datadriven innovations in farming and to minimize the risk of new economic and social inequalities in the agriculture sector. The creation of an EU-wide farm data repository under the auspices of EU institutions andin tegrating public agricultural data with private farmers’ data subject to anonymisation and aggregation can be seen as a first step towards a new data economy for EU agriculture. Also, the Common Agricultural Policyshould be more involved in and committed to the process of the digital transformation of farming in the EU.

The paper discusses some aspects of possibilities and dangers that new digital technologies bring in the camp of transmission of texts, especially the literary ones, and their scholar edition. While the new trends and achieve- ments are still under discussion, a glance towards the similar situation of some 500 years ago, when printing press was introduced to replace, step by step, a manuscript communication, could be useful to understand what we experience and to foresee some ways these new technologies will probably undertake.

The author considers the issue of whether the postulate of creating a new code of civil procedure is still valid. He comes to the conclusion that the following arguments support the new codification: the poor state of the current Code of Civil Procedure and the need to take into account the challenges facing civil procedural law like constitutionalization, Europeanization and digitalization of this law, as well as the creation of new solutions to protect collective interests. However, he indicates, as obstacles to the preparation of the new code, the collapse of the culture of creating law in Poland, problems resulting from changes in the justice system and threats resulting from legal populism.
