It is clear that humanbeings has destroyed the nature since the last quarter of the 19 th Century with start of industrial revaluation .In the beginning of the 21st century we faced extraordinary natural disasters as well as rainfall and temperature changes, rapid ice melting in different part of the world. All these mostly have occurred under the effect of climate change and forced a paradigm shift from demand or supply oriented harsh water development to use current water resources as efficient as possible. This logical approach is getting larger and larger as the years go by. Therefore near future water management concept will shift from building new and more water supply systems to better operating existing ones. The variation of water values in time and space has increasingly motivated efforts to address water scarcity and reduce water conflicts. Hydro-economic models represent spatially distributed water resource systems, infrastructure, management options and economic values in an integrated manner. In these tools water allocations and management are either driven by the economic value of water or economically evaluated to provide policy insights and reveal opportunities for better management. A central concept is that water demands are not fixed requirements but rather functions where quantities of water use at different times have varying total and marginal economic values. The 2015 World Economic Forum Global Risks Report ranked water as the number one risk factor. All these other sources of stress on water systems will be affected and/or exacerbated by climate change. This paper reviews the vital role of Hydro-Economics concept in a sustainable water management that will implement full cost recovery policy under the effect of climate change. It also focuses on the growing problems of allocation of water resources among competitive uses

Opis:
Self amplified stimulated emission free electron laser production from electron energy above 1.5 GeV is studied to obtain 1-100 nm laser wavelength. Design simulations of linear accelerating system with gun and enjector system has been done in more detail by considering space charge effect for electron beam. Electromagnetic field for superconducting cavities, solenoid fields, cavity defects such as Higher Order Modes, Multipacting, Lorentz Force Detuning, and beam behaviour along the beamline are very important details for this study. Optimised cavity cell design layout are provided in order to obtain quality factor $10^9$ for designed cavities throughout the main linear acceleration. To determine coupling factor, and zero modes and also other modes with relative errors are searched.

In this study, 12 taxa from the Chlorophyta, Phaeophyta and Rhodophyta were collected from different depths at Gemlik-Karacaali and Erdek-Ormanlı. A total of 175 specimens from these divisions were used to determine Total Protein (TP), Total Soluble Carbohydrate (TSCH) and Chlorophyll a (Chl a), Chlorophyll b (Chl b), Chlorophyll c (Chl c), total carotenoid (Car) contents and Chl b/Chl a, Chl c/Chl a, Car/Chl a, Car/Chl b, Car/Chl c ratios. TP, TSCH and pigment contents varied significantly with respect to the algal taxa, stations and depth distribution. In addition, individual differences were important in all of the measured parameters. The maximum TP contents (0.94%–31.03%) were determined in some of the Rhodophyta. In some green seaweeds belonging to the genus Ulva L., the TP content was determined between 2.9%–28.1%. Lower TP contents were determined in Cystoseira barbata (Good) C. Agardh (1.1%–4.3%). In contrast to TP contents, TSCH values were very low; maximum TSCH were determined in Ulva species, as were protein contents. In conclusion, the variations in TP, TSCH and pigment in 12 taxa of macroalgae were analysed according to station, depth, and environment.

Opis:
The morphology and other physical properties of ZnO nanopowders synthesized by glycine-nitrate gel combustion process were investigated and characterized by scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy, nanosizer and X-ray diffraction. Glycine, $NH_2CH_2COOH$, and zinc nitrate $Zn(NO_3)_2$·$6H_2O$ were dissolved in distilled water and the solution was coagulated by mixing at 90°C. The viscous gel prepared during glycine-nitrate mixing was heated at ≈220C to initiate the exothermic reactions by self-combustion where the temperature reached up to 1200°C. The glycine-nitrate ratio had a significant effect on the reaction temperature and final particle morphology. Therefore the synthesized powders have a different morphology like formless and spherical tufa ash. The particle size distribution was 50-1200 nm as measured using a nanosizer.

Ce doped $La_{1-x}Sr_xCo_{1-y}Fe_yO_3$ (LCSCF) is a widely used cathode material due to its high catalytic activity for oxygen reduction and high oxygen exchange coefficient. LCSCF is also known with its high ionic and electronic conductivities and low electrode polarization losses which are highly critical properties for low temperature solid oxide fuel cell applications. In this study, structural properties of the LCSCF cathode nanopowder materials synthesized by glycine-nitrate gel combustion have been investigated by X-ray diffraction, differential scanning calorimetry, scanning electron microscopy, and nanosizer. Synthesized nanopowders represent volcanic ash like structures and morphologies. Ce, Sr, Co, and Fe are found to have significant effects on the structural properties of powders in terms of powders morphology, agglomerate structure, crystallite size and also lattice parameter of perovskite crystal. All synthesized ash powders have particle sizes around 50-600 nm, varying crystalline structures of perovskite and fluorite depending on molar ratio of Ce in the composition. Increasing molar Ce ratio over 0.4 is found to lead to the formation of a separate nano ceria phase in fluorite crystal structure on the surface of the synthesized powder.

Novel anode nanopowder materials consisting of ceria-based components synthesized by glycine-nitrate process were investigated for solid oxide fuel cells. Glycine-nitrate process involves a self-combustion reaction at 220C of water-based nitrate and glycine solutions which subsequently can reach up to 1200°C. The resulting morphology, the size of particles and the formation of crystalline phases were characterized by differential scanning calorimetry, X-ray diffraction, transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method and Nanosizer. It was determined that dopants in ceria such as Co, Ni, Cu, V and Fe had significant effect on the morphology and size. The size distribution measured by Nanosizer was 50-600 nm, transmission electron microscopy, 5-200 nm and the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method 100-120 nm and specific surface area of powders in the range 67.45-72.05 $m^2 g^{-1}$ as measured by the Brunauer-Emmett-Teller method. Particles were observed to have spherical structures for Cu and Fe doped powders and rod-shaped in a porous tuff microstructure for those doped with Co and Ni. Vanadium doping helped to decrease the porosity and initiated the process of spheroidization of particles.

The aim of this study was to investigate the cardiotoxic effect of the combination of tilmicosin and diclofenac sodium in sheep. Thirty-two sheep were used and were randomly divided into four equal groups as tilmicosin (T), diclofenac sodium (D), tilmicosin+diclofenac sodium (TD) and control (C) group. Group T received a single dose of tilmicosin, Group D was administered diclofenac sodium once a day for 3 days, and group TD was administered diclofenac and tilmicosin at the same doses as group T and D. Group C received NaCl in a similar way. The blood samples were taken before dosing and at 4th, 8th, 24th and 72nd hour post-dosing for measurement of cardiac markers such as H-FABP, cTn-I, CK-MB. H-FABP level of group TD was found to be significantly (p<0.05) higher than of group C at the 8th, 24th and 72nd hour and group D and T at the 72nd hour. cTn-I and CK-MB levels of group TD were found significantly (p<0.05) higher compared with other groups. In conclusion, the combined use of tilmicosin and diclofenac in sheep causes an increase in cardiac biomarkers and it can be stated that this combination of drugs may cause cardiac damage.
