Opis:: The article presents a mathematical model demonstrating the synergy of HEV energetic machines in accordance with the model predictive control. Then the results of road tests are presented. They were based on the factory control of the above-mentioned system. The results of the operating parameters of the system according to the factory control and the results of the operating parameters according to the model predictive control were compared. On their basis, it could be concluded that the model predictive control contributed to changes in the power and electrochemical charge level of the energy storage system from 50.1% (the beginning) to 56.1% (the end of course) and for MPC from 50.1% (the beginning) to 59.9% (the end of the course). The applied MPC with 13 reference trajectories (LQT) of power machines of the series-parallel HEV allowed for fuel savings on the level of 4%.

Opis:: The aim of this study was to analyse the possibilities of improving the ecological parameters of compression – ignition CI engines. During the analysis of exhaust gas, attention was mainly paid to the emission of nitrogen oxides and carbon black soot. A method was proposed to reduce the above chemical elements in CI – engine exhaust fumes by using the annular channels on the non-working part of the fuel injector needle and applying a platinum catalyst on them. The task of these annular channels is to mix and agitate the fuel before injection to the combustion chamber and to enlarge the contact surface area of catalyst. The task of catalytic coating is to initiate the reaction of dehydrogenation of paraffinic hydrocarbons to olefinic ones with a free hydrogen molecule. Hydrogen, owing to its properties, can shorten the period of delay of spontaneous ignition of combustible mixture in the engine combustion chamber, which affects the entire combustion process and improves the ecological parameters of a CI engine.

Opis:: Fiscal preferences belongs to the measures of public policy which aim is supposed to fix the market failures. However, there is a shortage of studies which evaluates the effects of the fiscal instruments on enterprises from all sectors. Moreover, it is not clear how strong their influence in comparison to other external factors. One of the most important of the external determinants is the economic growth. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to analyze the effects of fiscal preferences on profitability of enterprises against the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and its components in Poland. We set three hypotheses but only two of them could be confirmed and only in some part. The effects of the fiscal instruments on profitability is positive although only for some kinds of enterprises. It was a little stronger impact than for selected macroeconomic variables connected with GDP. However, one must take into consideration that the impact of GDP or some of its components is negative and regards medium-sized companies.

Opis:: The purpose of this article is to evaluate the possibilities of touristic development of the La Lopé National Park and to indicate the most important barriers and limitations of the area exploitation. For this purpose a SWOT method was applied. This assignment presents the situation as of the end of 2014. The majority of the up-to-date data was collected during the mission, the purpose of which was to observe the region, and which was organized by Université Omar Bongo in Libreville and Warsaw University. The La Lopé National Park has a significant touristic potential which is very poorly used. The diagnose of the reasons for that can be an indicator for attempts to rationally use the resources of the region and present an appropriate development strategy.
