    The article is devoted to demonstrating the presence of F. Dostoyevsky’s thought in the drama The Wedding Rings by Lidiya Zinov’yeva‑Annibal. Dostoevsky occupied an important place in the lives and works of the Russian symbolists (including L. Zinov’yeva‑Annibal), as reflected by their diaries and articles, as well as contemporary studies. In the Russian poet’s drama the intertextual relationships with the novel The Idiot are especially visible. First of all they are manifested in the construction of the protagonist, who has the same name as that of The Idiot), but also in conceptualizing such motifs as: love (the love triangle), beauty, good, sacrifice, devoting oneself to others. The presented studies lead to the conclusion that in spite of the fact that the creation of the drama protagonist reveals certain features in common with Dostoyevsky’s heroines, the very conceptualizing of this figure is different: in the case of Lidiya Zinov’yeva‑Annibal it is based on the “logic of triplicity” and in the symbolist thinking about Eros.

    Społeczna odpowiedzialność biznesu jest aktualnym pojęciem, analizowanym w różnych sektorach gospodarki. Zakres tematu został zawężony do sektora transportu samochodowego celem sprawdzenia rozpoznawalności zagadnienia. Coraz więcej przedsiębiorstw postrzega wdrożenie zasad społecznej odpowiedzialności biznesu (CSR) jako czynnik konkurencyjny. Biznes społecznie odpowiedzialny daje możliwość uzyskania skutecznej przewagi w obszarze postrzegania marki i działań przedsiębiorstwa na rynku konkurencyjnym. Celem prezentowanego artykułu jest poznanie zaangażowania przedsiębiorstw w ochronę środowiska oraz identyfikacja świadomości i zasad zrównoważonego rozwoju w sektorze transportowym. Zagadnienie jest interesujące ze względu na dobrowolność wdrażania dobrych praktyk CSR, a z drugiej strony przedsiębiorstwa odczuwają presję otoczenia.
    Corporate Social Responsibility is a current a theme that is analyzed in various sectors of the economy. The choice of the topic was narrowed down to the road transport sector to check the visibility of the issue. More and more companies perceive the implementation of the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) as a competitive factor. Socially Responsible Business makes it possible to achieve effective advantage in the area of brand perception and activities of the company in a competitive market. The aim of the article is to understand companies’ commitment to environmental protection and the identification and awareness of sustainable development principles in the transport sector. The issue is interesting because of the voluntary nature of the implementation of best practices of CSR, on the other hand pressure from the enterprises environment is perceived.

    Opis:
    The non-structural protein 3 (NS3) of Hepatitis C virus (HCV) is a bifunctional enzyme with RNA-dependent NTPase/RNA helicase and serine protease activities, and thus represents a promising target for anti-HCV therapy. These functions are performed by two distinct moieties; the N-terminal protease domain and the C-terminal helicase domain that further folds into three structural subdomains. To obtain lower molecular mass proteins suitable for nuclear magnetic resonance studies of helicase-inhibitor complexes, helicase domains 1, 2, and 1+2 devoid of a hydrophobic β-loop were overexpressed and purified. Circular dichroism studies were carried out to confirm the secondary structure content and to determine thermodynamic parameters describing the stability of the proteins. Both thermal and GuHCl-induced unfolding experiments confirmed the multidomain organization of the helicase. The unfolding transition observed for domain 1+2 was in agreement with the model of two well-resolved successive steps corresponding to the independent unfolding of domains 1 and 2, respectively. In the case of the full-length helicase, the presence of domain 3 remarkably changed the transition profile, leading to fast and irreversible transformation of partially unfolded protein.

    The article is devoted to an attempt at analyzing the symbolist drama by Lydia Zinovieva-Annibał Кольца (The Wedding Rings) in connection with the image of woman created in it. The writer creates a woman renouncing what restricts her (individualism, egoism) and trying to rise to what is universal, to achieve freedom in this way. The protagonist is the incarnation of beauty, good and love, understood in the spirit of Plato’s philosophy as an androgynic unity. The poet polemicizes with Plato’s idea, showing that such a love restricts humans and becomes a prison for them. The title wedding rings constitute that kind of a feeling. Giving her husband up to another woman, the protagonist wants to open herself to the cosmic love, to the ocean of love in this way and regain freedom. However, she turns out to be unprepared and too weak for that freedom. She manages to open her soul, but her heart still remains trapped in the circle of her love towards her husband.
