Monitoring the agricultural drought of paddy rice fields is a crucial aspect of preparing for proper action in maintaining food security in Indonesia. The Aceh Province is one of Indonesia’s national rice production centers, especially Aceh Besar Regency; it includes three central districts; Indrapuri, Kuta Cot Glie, and Seulimeum. Satellite-Sentinel 2A data have been tested to monitor the drought levels of around 2,803 Ha in the three districts in this study. This study aimed to determine the drought level in Indrapuri, Kuta Cot Glie, and Seulimeum districts, Aceh Besar Regency’s paddy rice fields using Sentinel-2A data imagery. The vegetation conditions index (VCI) of Sentinel-2 data was utilized to identify a vegetative drought level in the area for the 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 growing seasons. The vegetation inertia index is derived from the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI). The results show that the VCI looked volatile, but the trendline increased by four percent, from 92.56 in July 2019 to 96.08 in July 2021. Most areas on the dates investigated found that the no drought category was still dominant. The designated data analyzed found that the June 2022 data tend to be distributed to the drought in extreme, severe, moderate, and mild increases compared to the previous data investigated. This figure shows an increasing drought in the study area, and the average drought index is in the category of mild drought. In addition, there has been a trendline decline in the value of NDVI in recent years, causing agricultural land for paddy rice fields to be slightly vulnerable to drought.

Thesis. This study tends to show how various social, cultural, and institutional factors work to discipline women by controlling their bodies at on one level and their thought process at another level. Concept. The everyday life of women is a space in which the operation of power is manifested through various disciplinary techniques and punitive methods. The basis of such regulations is the result of the construction of gendered bodies. Results and conclusion. The study sheds light on the ways the body is produced, shaped, and controlled by gendered social norms. The body is repeatedly gendered, and asked to conform to dominant gender norms. These factors affect women’s social and sexual behaviour and place them in a subservient position. The study reveals how while generating notions about the other ‘gender', the basic essence of ‘being human’ is often neglected. The claims for the equal space of women are to be fulfilled by formulating the possibility of a space for them which can go beyond the justified constructions of society.

Aim. The proposed study examines the subversive polemics of Fo’s theatre which serves as a catalyst for social, political and cultural change. It aims to foreground the revolutionary politics of Fo who uses theatre to combat the oppressive system bringing to fore the working-class struggle for a classless society. The present study will be done with the help of the analysis of Fo’s select plays. These plays will be interpreted using the Gramscian framework of cultural consensus, an enabling provision of authority and control and the role of intellectuals in countering the same. Concept. The paper underlines the significance of art in facilitating a deeper understanding of the complex social realities of our world. The paper engages with the question of power and control, oppression and marginalisation as well as art and education as contextualised in Dario Fo’s theatre. Results. Fo’s use of drama to humanize the history of Italian working classes tells us about the expedience of art to enage with matters most urgent. This tells us that art and culture can be an important link in the mobilization authoritarism. Conclusion. A comprehensive discussion on power politics is presented in the paper with the aim of keeping people informed of the subtle working of these underlying structures which govern power relations in society. Originality. The originality of the study is contingent on investigating into how power is acquired, legitimised, practised, and maintained, how it can be resisted and what role art and artists play in the construction, dissemination and opposition of it.

Opis:
Aim. The present study primarily engages with graffiti as a tactic of the weak who find pleasure in scandalising the dominant discourse. The prime focus here will be on the pleasure as resistance, on the construction of an alternative space into the dominant space, and on the multiple forms of evasive and resisting techniques through which the subordinate asserts their power. Thus, Graffiti can be read as a popular text, a signifying construct of potential meanings and pleasures for the subordinate. Concept. Conceptualised as the undisciplined play of the subordinate people that resists or evades hegemonic forces and a radical reimagining of the neo-liberal spaces, Graffiti has become a major expression of popular culture in recent times. The paper uses many such stances where the lateral thinking of the power helps to challenge the disciplinary discourses of the dominant. Results and Conclusion. The paper offers a popular reading of graffiti that opens up the way to escape control, scandalise top-down power and to assert bottom-up power at the micro-level. The real pleasure lies in scandalising the dominant discourse. Graffiti is read here as self-assertion of the marginalised who acquire public visibility and power through graffiti creation. Originality. The originality of the study depends on reviewing the manipulative actions of people in everyday lives and how this undisciplined play provides them with the opportunity to subvert the system and to escape social control. It supports the idea that the subordinate possesses transgressive deviation in relation to the everyday continuum.

Opis:
Aim. The present study intends to explore how process drama can be effectively used and implemented in Indian classrooms. It further highlights the aspects of the conventional classrooms and discusses why Indian students are lacking in productive skills of the English language and how it can be diagnosed through using the theory and practice of process drama as an instructional method. Concepts/Methods. Data collection method through a questionnaire has been used in the study and SPSS version 20 is implemented to observe, analyze, and comprehend the data. Reliability and validity have been checked through a pilot study before using the questionnaire and the suggestions of an expert and responded were incorporated. Research Restrictions. The present study is limited to the Indian classrooms and especially the respondents were purposively chosen from undergraduate classrooms of different faculties. So it cannot be implemented thoroughly but the praxis of using process drama can be a potent strategy to teach English in ESL classrooms according to the level, background and nature of the learners.  Practical Application. The findings of the study clearly indicate that the use of process drama in classroom pedagogy has a positive impact on receptive and productive skills of language.     Cognitive value. The modern classroom pedagogy needs an approach of teaching which can foster the learning process easier and emphasize all four skills in an effective way.

Thesis. The current paper deals with the idea of sisterhood which has been represented in a Bollywood movie named Parched. The movie manifests sisterhood as a way to find solace and to get rid of confinement from the oppressive and suffocating society that tries to confine women within the four walls of the house. Concept. Sisterhood is an association, group, society, or community of women who are linked by common interests. This alliance became popular during the second wave of feminism. A single woman cannot combat the oppressors. Only necessary solidarity and collective efforts would result in the desired improvements. Results and Conclusion. In our society, the term ‘brotherhood’ is used to designate camaraderie among men, but no term is used to denote companionship among women. In fact, it is assumed that women hate each other and this legacy of ‘women-hating’ is proved to be unfounded. Therefore, necessary solidarity is required to correct the patriarchal assumptions about women, and the idea of sisterhood is one effort in this direction.

Aim. The present study aims at foregrounding the importance of language and discourses advanced to suppress the voices of dissent and minorities. The subtle art of stimulating a psychologically suppressed identity or subjective violence is either through making or mocking historical facts, cultures, and human activities manifesting the concept of authoritarian democracy. Further, the aim of the study is to grasp the sense of constraints between universality and particularity that denounces the ‘reassertion of identity,’ among Indian Muslims. Moreover, the study judiciously examines disguised ‘mechanisms’ employed under authoritarian politics, tech-populism and journalism intending to promote businesses, dissemination of misinformation and contributes to creating an apocryphal human history, social alienation, and to discrediting an individual’s spontaneity.Concept. The innate unity in a democratic society can be actualised either by envisaging or by translating the texts, thoughts, language and actions, which are altogether conceiving distinctive meanings to morality, ethnicity and culture having its relevance in the contemporary context. The paper features multiple trends/cases of how a single-party monologue has weakened pluralism along with the domination of othering the ‘Others’ under racial, cultural, and national particularism. The paper qualitatively investigates different incidents of transcreation of discourse in establishing or reclaiming the identity contextualised in Frantz Fanon’s declaration of ‘reclaiming the past.’Results and conclusion. An ingenious discussion on dynamic languages, cultures and action enriches with time and individual incidents are discussed in the study. It re-evaluates the significance of revisiting the history to reclaim, reform, and reconstruct malleable identity and ideologies that take years to build, improvise and restore diversityabove majoritarian dogmatism in India.  Originality. An inquiry into how thoughts, languages, and human action intertwined are to build a complaisant or contemptuous human identity is the idea behind the article. Indeed, the study’s originality depends on sorting and revisiting numerous dimensions of translation and transcreation of languages, linguistic structure, ideology, and political intent in recent times, either subjugating or falsifying facts against the marginalized in India. The attempt is based on analyzing how the shift in knowledge, culture and social identity construction supersede the less powerful. It is practiced through utilizing tech support, popular mass culture and evolves a discourse to manipulate andmobilize human consciousness for commercial and political gains.
