Powstanie marketingu cyfrowego było uwarunkowane wieloma doświadczenia- mi wykorzystania dotychczasowych jego form, wywodzących się z komunikacji interpersonalnej. Wejście społeczeństwa w interakcję z nowymi technologiami informacyjno-komunikacyjnymi wymusiło swoistą integrację obu zagadnień, które zaczęły kreować nowe pojęcie, znane dziś pod nazwą marketingu cyfrowego. Kluczowe jego kanały, w tym technologie online wykorzystywane do komunikacji z odbiorcami, służą wielu podmiotom gospodarczym jako główne narzędzie do promocji własnej marki. Artykuł ma za zadanie zobrazować proces ewolucji marketingu w kierunku jego cyfrowej wersji poprzez prezentację wykorzystywanych technologii, a także etapowe podejście do sprzedaży internetowej z wykorzystaniem metod z pogranicza ICT w budowaniu wizerunku i sprzedaży. Można stwierdzić, że komunikacja marketingowa podlega ewolucji z klasycznych rozwiązań i interakcji do jej zdigitalizowanego odpowiednika, który znajduje ujście głównie w rozwiązaniach online. Metodą badawczą w artykule była krytyczna analiza literatury oraz identyfikacja wraz z charakterystyką rozwiązań informacyjno-komunika- cyjnych stosowanych w celu kreowania marketingu cyfrowego.

Aim. In efforts to handle the negative impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, language schools in Kenya were forced to organise a smooth transition from physical to virtual classroom by incorporating educational technologies in virtual learning and teaching processes. Such a shift was new to teachers and required additional efforts to master the peculiarities of organising virtual English classes. Thus, this study aims to explore Kenyan ESL teachers’ perspectives towards the acceptance of educational technology integration in non-formal education. Methods. A qualitative approach was adopted in this study. Eleven teachers from two private foreign language schools participated in semi-structured in-depth interviews, where they answered questions based on the elements of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). Results. The findings showed that most teachers’ approaches towards the acceptance of educational technologies were mainly positive and they intend to integrate them in their ESL classroom. The results of the qualitative data analysis also demonstrated that age is one of those personal characteristics that might hinder teachers’ willingness to adopt educational technologies while teaching ESL. Conclusions. This study also found that the variety of adopted educational technologies was not extensive. Therefore, teachers’ awareness, interest, and digital competences should be further developed. Practical application. The herein presented research findings are of a significant importance for the enhancement of teachers’ competences to apply educational technologies while teaching ESL in Kenya. It also has implications for the practice that is relevant for ESL teachers in non-formal education as well as curriculum organisers.

The purpose of this paper is to identify the online tools used by Polish universities and analyse to what extent these tools are used for image-related, communication, and marketing purposes. Based on our own analyses and desk research, we listed and then compared selected image-related activities carried out online by the higher education institutions rated as Poland's top universities in the "Perspektywy Ranking". We also extended our analysis to the universities rated as the world's top universities, selected based on the Webometrics ranking, and identified a clear difference in trends. The online tools listed in this paper were evaluated in terms of their impact on the position of the higher education institutions in the education market.

Dissemination of art online is nowadays a global practice adopted by many museums and galleries. While the reasons behind it may be diverse, one of them is to provide access to works of art and art spaces to people with disabilities. The article analyzes the legitimacy of using modern technologies in communication with people with disabilities, and presents examples of solutions implemented in Polish social and cultural reality in order to make art accessible to people with disabilities. It also identifies opportunities and threats that may arise in connection with such communication model between cultural institutions and people with disabilities.

The aim of this article is to present a selection of novel tools used in organizing a foreign language competition. Particular attention will be focused on finalists’ and laureates’ opinions, expressed by means of a questionnaire administered for the needs of evaluation of innovative instruments used in the Spanish Language Competition. These include the Moodle platform, electronic tests, and a comprehensive website. Finally, we will present some recommendations for current and future organizers of foreign language competitions concerning the use of new technologies in their activities.

The global pandemic has forced changes in education. About 1.5 billion students worldwide have experienced school closures. The aim of the article is to present the results of the survey on teaching during coronavirus in secondary schools where the research group consisted of students and teachers. For many students and teachers, the new way of learning and teaching has been a great challenge and has caused many difficulties and has exposed deficiencies in education systems. During the research, the focus is on students, teachers, school principals and parents who had to find themselves in a new and tricky situation at school, which was distance learning. The research addresses aspects related to the situation, well-being and figure of students and teachers during the new virtual reality, methods of teachers' work in a virtual school, as well as the importance of principals and parents as a support for students and teachers during a global pandemic.

The text attempts to conceptualize the possible reform of the procedure of making notarial deeds in Poland. It examines the feasibility of drafting and signing these deeds in the course of online communication between parties. The analysis builds on the significant constraints for the classic notarial procedure (based on paper documents and on the physical presence of a notary and parties) that were triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic. Its aim reaches, however, further beyond the present-day realities and seeks possible ways to generally modernize provisions on notarial deeds and to adjust them to the growing proliferation of online communication in the society. The text ascertains that the existing structure of provisions on notarial deeds already allows for making notarial deeds online, without profound legislative changes. It can be achieved predominantly by altering the attitude towards interpretation of these rules, especially through a more profound insight into the function of these provisions and the interrelation between their rationale and the features of the online communication. In the latter regards, the text makes an in-depth scrutiny of possible guarantees for communicational efficacy and for authenticity of notarial deeds that are provided by the advanced methods of transmitting and storing data online.

The article deals with advanced technology and its basic applications used to support military veterans with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), presenting it in the context of military culture, or more narrowly, the culture of soldiers who have become veterans. The text discusses problems with defining the disability in veterans with PTSD acquired during active military service, analyzes such values as health and fitness in terms of military culture, and identifies specific needs in providing assistance to military veterans, including technology as a discreet tool intended to improve their cognitive, emotional, mental and social functioning, and everyday life skills. It also outlines various rehabilitation possibilities with the use of computers, the Internet, online communication, and virtual reality (VR).

W artykule przedstawiono wybrane wyniki i metody projektu foresightowego pt. „Scenariusze i trendy rozwojowe wybranych technologii społeczeństwa informacyjnego do roku 2025” (akronim SCETIST) zrealizowanego w latach 2010–2013 przez konsorcjum w składzie Fundacja Progress & Business w Krakowie (Lider Projektu), Instytut Informatyki Teoretycznej i Stosowanej PAN w Gliwicach, Uniwersytet Jagielloński, oraz programu wdrażania jego rezultatów w instytucjach publicznych i przedsiębiorstwach (2013–2016). W ramach projektu wykonano m.in. analizę trendów technologicznych i społecznych oraz scenariuszy rozwojowych. Zostały one opracowane m.in. w oparciu o odpowiedzi ekspertów w badaniu delfickim, analizy bibliometryczne, patentometryczne i webometryczne. Na potrzeby projektu SCETIST opracowano zestaw metod analizy scenariuszowej wykorzystujących tzw. scenariusze elementarne i sieci antycypacyjne, które pozwoliły na utworzenie scenariuszy głównych dla każdej analizowanej technologii oraz dla procesów ekonomiczno-społecznych społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Są to m.in. scenariusze podstawowych aplikacji, produktów i wybranych technologii zorientowanych na użytkownika końcowego, takich jak m-health („mobilne zdrowie”), czy e-learning, scenariusze rozwoju technologicznego i perspektyw rynkowych zaawansowanego oprogramowania dla przedsiębiorstw, w tym zwłaszcza systemów wspomagania decyzji (SWD), rekomenderów i aplikacji webowych klasy ERP działających w tzw. chmurze. Opracowano także scenariusze rozwoju naukowo-technologicznego i implikacji społecznych systemów neurokognitywnych i wizyjnych, powiązane z nimi scenariusze rozwoju systemów autonomicznych opartych o metody sztucznej inteligencji oraz scenariusze rozwoju informatyki kwantowej. W artykule przedstawiono również innowacyjną metodykę wielorundowych badań delfickich online oraz podano najważniejsze wnioski i rekomendacje wypływające z wykonanych badań i ich dotychczasowych wdrożeń. This paper presents selected results and the methodology of the foresight project SCETIST (2010–2013) devoted to the future prospects of selected information society technologies (IST) as well as to the related social and economic trends. The project has been conducted by the consortium of three partners: the Progress & Business Foundation (project leader), Jagiellonian University, Kraków, and the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Computer Science of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Gliwice. The real-life implementation of the project results is outlined as well. Technological trends and scenarios have been elicited using a novel online expert Delphi. Another web-based application supported group information society model building and applying it to IST trend simulation. The resulting model was a hybrid discrete-time/discrete-event control system. The scenarios construction was based on an original approach of elementary scenarios filtering by anticipatory networks to yield a small set of principal scenarios for each technology and social process concerned. In this paper we present trends and scenarios of end-user information technologies, such as decision support and recommendation systems, cloud-based ERP systems, m-health, e-learning, and other. The development scenarios and expected social impact of advanced neurocognitive and vision systems as well as of their deployment in artificial autonomous systems are briefly outlined. The article investigates the problem of future primary school teachers’ training in using information technology (IT) in teaching mathematics and, in particular, in the aspect of the use of various online resources, online services for teachers, and other pedagogical software. The results of the diagnosis of conditions for future teachers’ training for the introduction of IT at the mathematics lessons in primary school are analysed. The peculiarities of the digital generation of children are determined, and, based on this, the necessity of the introduction of IT in mathematics lessons is substantiated. Finally, the approaches to training for future teachers to create interactive exercises – in particular through the Learning Apps online service – are identified.

The article describes features in the developing of foreign language communicative competence by using interactive teaching methods. The directions of developing the students’ foreign language communicative competence are determined. Research on parental mediation of children’s online engagements situate historically longstanding anxieties within the dynamics of present-day information communications technologies (i.e., concerns over new “cyber risks,” as well as opportunities). Yet, there remains a lack of emphasis on children’s reactions to and experiences with parental strategies and responses. In the current article, we highlight research involving semi-structured focus groups (n=35) with Canadian teenagers (n=115). We highlight themes directly related to parental digital mediation, including the role of ICTs in driving addictive behaviors, social connection, differences in parental responses between sons and daughters, and differences concerning age and birth order. Disrupting cultural discourses of young people who lack agency in relation to their use of ICTs, our discussions with teens reveal qualified support, even degrees of sympathy, for parental efforts to restrict access and use of digital technologies, but illuminate multifaceted reasons for resistance: their vital role not only for social connection but access to crucial information and knowledge.

In the process of work with students (post-graduate students, interns, teachers), the application of interactive forms of work has proven its effectiveness and relevance. At the same time, we should expand the methodological diversity of the interactive, involve such forms of work that best as possible meet the needs of the blended learning format. Quest as an interactive technology has many advantages – from a collective goal setting, definition of a strategy of movement to coordinated performance of intermediate tasks, search for substantiations and presentation of a collective decision. The main thing is that there are no obstacles to the realization of the educational quest, such as online or offline, because the help comes from the interactive board Miro. The purpose of the work is to substantiate the peculiarities of the application of the educational quest as a game technology in blended and distance education with the goal of deepening the motivation of students of higher education institutions of Ukraine, in particular medical ones; to intensify scientific research activities, to improve interaction in groups and teams, to promote the development of clinical thinking and communicative competence. Research methods. Theoretical (processing of the source base) and empirical (development and implementation of didactic quests in educational activities) research methods were used in the work. Due to the combination of these components, the expediency of application of quest-technologies in a blended form of education in higher education institutions is substantiated. Conclusions. Thanks to the involvement of quests, those who study will not only save motivation, but they will also structure, renew, update the acquired knowledge for further professional growth. Quests do not require students to be physically present in the classroom, and under the condition of a proper organization (script, route sheets for teams), the final result of their conducting in the format of blended education (through ZOOM, MIRO, another online platform for group work) is quite high. It is also interesting to note that quests in the form close to the competition, provide the opportunity to carry out summative and formative assessment, which is extremely important for monitoring the quality of knowledge. The application of educational quests in higher medical education with the involvement of interactive online boards opens up the opportunity to provide active interaction of subjects of training in conditions of a blended format. During the quest, the teacher performs the functions of a moderator, since organizational moments and the working atmosphere during group communication depend on him, as well as possible help in the form of vector direction (if the discussion has reached a dead end), and substantiation of the final results.

The rapid explosion in technology is unpredictable and very drastic such that it has conquered every aspect and areas of human life. There is such areas where technology has not yet reached. Education being an area that has direct impact on the society is nowhere an exception. Hence, as a teacher or teacher educator one has to update his knowledge and skills in using technology, especially ICT, as the classrooms are being dominated by smart classrooms. They now have to learn how to cope with these technological advancements and innovative approaches in their classrooms Uses of technology in the professional development and capacity building of teachers may be defined in two folds; that is technology for professional development and professional development for efficient use of technology in teaching learning process. When technology develops in a very drastic speed, it is the duty of the teacher to update himself on various areas of ICT that can be used in the classroom transaction. Various online programs and online learning are being introduced that can be used by teachers in the classroom. Hence, the teacher has to update his knowledge and skills through various professional development programmes. The administration of schools has to provide such platform to teachers to undergo such training to cope up with current development and changes in technology. Technology can be used not only as an information management tool, but also as a means of reaching students of diverse backgrounds in a way professionally sound (Torres, 2006). Hence, technology can be seen having implications for classroom learning as well as in reaching students of the disadvantaged group provided the availability of technology in their areas. The use of technology can assess the quality of their papers or articles using technology. It helps to identify aspects such as the number of times cited, plagiarism etc. These educational software has been introduced in order to maximize quality of all papers being published. In the present paper, we have discussed the linkage of technology with special focus on ICT and Professional development of teachers. Focus of this paper is on and around E- Resources, Integration of Advanced Technology in Teacher Training, citations index, and impact of research publication in the public domain.

The article describes the phenomenon of the electronic encyclopedia activity and investigates the electronic Internet encyclopedias created by the institutions of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. It has been discovered that electronic encyclopedias can be divided into several varieties, the main of which is online encyclopedias, which are highly distinguished in comparison with classical printed publications by the characteristics caused by the development of information technology. In accordance with this division, the national academic encyclopedic resources are characterized in the article. The idea of the importance of creating an online encyclopedia about the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine is presented; it also argued that current online encyclopedias are not fully equipped with a wide range of technological opportunities for their use.
У статті схарактеризовано явище електронної енциклопедистики й досліджено електронні енциклопедії, створені установами Національної академії наук України, що функціонують в інтернет-середовищі. Виявлено, що електронні енциклопедії можна поділити на кілька різновидів, основний із яких – онлайн-енциклопедії, що найбільшою мірою вирізняються на тлі класичних друкованих видань характеристиками, спричиненими розвитком інформаційних технологій. Відповідно до цього поділу окреслено вітчизняні академічні енциклопедичні ресурси. Висунуто ідею щодо актуальності створення онлайн-енциклопедії про Національну академію наук України, а також констатовано, що наявні онлайненциклопедії не забезпечені повною мірою великим спектром технологічних можливостей їх використання.

The growing popularity of dating apps has been noted in recent years, but the nature of the user experience of dating apps is heterogeneous. The present study aimed to investigate the experiences of dating app users and distinguish their types based on cluster analysis. An exploratory study was conducted online among 406 adults who have used online dating. Survey questions investigated: motives for online dating, perceived pressure to find a partner, length of use of the dating app, usability rating, perceived benefits and well-being after using dating apps, frequency of experiencing negative events while dating, reasons for and number of deletions of dating profile. Three credible clusters were identified: “persistent” - people who are mainly looking for a relationship, have long periods of use of the app and delete it less often; “for a while”. - are those with different motives for online dating, use the app briefly and rarely return to it, and are characterized by a small number of difficult online situations; "hurt" - people with motives other than looking for a relationship, have many negative experiences and most often delete dating apps. The clusters differed in age, gender, relationship status, motives (relationships vs. other motives), pressure (pressure, no pressure).

The article examines the impact of the rapid shift towards online education amidst the Covid-19 pandemic on various facets of teachers' and students' lives in Poland. In particular, it looks into the perceived advantages and drawbacks of this mode of instruction, its ramifications on the psychological welfare of educators and learners, and the pragmatic aspects associated with online learning, such as time management and navigating digital tools. Data was collected through an online questionnaire, disseminated via Google Forms. Findings underscore the profound and enduring effects of the abrupt transition to online education on the well-being of the educational community. Both instructors and students grappled with numerous challenges, necessitating swift adjustments to their daily routines, often leading to feelings of overwhelm and fatigue. Through this article, we aim to shed light on the pandemic's impact on education and the mental and physical health of educators and students alike.

The main research question of the text is: what are the ways of teacher self-presentation in the blogosphere? The aim of the analyses was to reconstruct the meanings given by teachers to their own activity in the blogosphere, assessing the potential of blogs in creating the image of the teacher as a professional. Internet ethnography (i.e. cyberethnography, netnography) was used to analyse the blogs. The selection of the research sample was a two-stage process. In the first stage, the teacher blogosphere was reviewed: more than 70 blogs by English teachers, 50 by Polish teachers and 10 by history teachers were selected. A selection of these was made, taking into account: the timing of the activity (more than one year), the frequency of content updates, the regularity of the entries, and the hypertextual diversity. The following blogs were subjected to qualitative analysis: Baba od polskiego, Kreatywny Polonista, DoKlasy, BB's Playground, Hummingbirds els. Teacher self-presentation was the main research category. A number of features of diaries have been found in the content of the blogs: the process of shaping one's “I”, the embeddedness in the present, the systematic nature of the entries, and the writing and rhetorical practice aimed at influencing the outside world (Maryl, 2013). The “I” presented by teacher-bloggers is characterised by openness, responsiveness, creativity, authenticity, relationality, reflexivity and professionalism. The image of the teacher presented in the blogosphere “seduces”. The analysis confirms the different motivations for “being” in the blogosphere. They relate to responding to young people's expectations for teachers to undertake such online activity and the possibility of co-creating open educational resources. The blog activity of teachers is characterised by the so-called personal branding, i.e. building a personal brand, an image of oneself, which is to convince potential recipients to cooperate. Presenting “yourself” in the blogosphere - enhances, sometimes even improves, the image of the teaching profession in the offline world.
