    The article describes the teaching of Ildefonsus of Toledo on the person of Jesus Christ and his salvific work. The study is based on two writings of the Bishop of Toledo: Do cognitione baptismi and De itinere deserti, in which he conveyed his instruction on the sacrament of baptism. In holy baptism each man, thanks to the passion and resurrection of Christ, receives new life. It can be given to man only by God Himself. Therefore, Ildefonsus emphasizes the truth of the divinty of Jesus Christ, discusses his salvific work and points to the continuing presence of Christ in the life of all the baptized. Jesus Christ grants his prevenient grace to all the baptized, supports them with all the necessary gifts, sets them an example of a life lived in accordance to the will of God the Father. He does all this to lead them to the joy of eternal life. Ildefonsus of Toledo bases his preaching on the Scripture, referring mostly to the texts of the Old Testament and the teaching of St. Paul.
    W artykule zostało omówione nauczanie Ildefonsa z Toledo na temat osoby Jezusa Chrystusa i jego zbawczego dzieła. Podstawą przedstawionego opracowania były dwa dzieła biskupa Toledo Do cognitione baptismi i De itinere deserti, w których zawarł on pouczenia dotyczące sakramentu chrztu. W chrzcie świętym każdy człowiek dzięki męce i zmartwychwstaniu Chrystusa otrzymuje nowe życie. Może je człowiekowi ofiarować jedynie sam Bóg. Ildefons podkreśla więc prawdę o bóstwie Jezusa Chrystusa, omawia Jego zbawcze dzieło i wskazuje na nieustanną obecność Chrystusa w życiu wszystkich ochrzczonych. Jezus Chrystus obdarza ochrzczony swoją uprzedzającą łaską, wspiera ich wszelkimi potrzebnymi darami, daje im przykład życia zgodne z wolą Boga Ojca. Wszystko to czyni po to, aby doprowadzić ich do radości życia wiecznego. Ildefons z Toledo opiera swoje nauczanie na Piśmie Świętym, odwołując się przede wszystkim do tekstów Starego Testamentu i nauczania św. Pawła.

    W artykule zostało omówione nauczanie Ildefonsa z Toledo na temat Maryi na podstawie dzieła De virginitate Sanctae Mariae. Autor dzieła skupia się przede wszystkim na ukazaniu dziewictwa Maryi oraz Jej dziewiczego macierzyństwa. Wskazuje, że Maryja, jako wybrana przez Boga do udziału w dziele zbawienia człowieka, cieszy się wyjątkowymi łaskami, spośród ktorych na pierwszym miejscu wymienia Jej nieskazitelność, czyli wolność od grzechu. W swojej argumentacji o wiecznym dziewictwie Maryi Ildefons odwołuje się do tekstów z Pisma Świętego, także do proroctw zapisanych w Starym Testamencie. Cechą charakterystyczną dzieła jest przeplatanie się refleksji teologicznej z tekstami modlitw, które biskup Toledo kieruje do Maryi. Ich treść wyraża pragnienie całkowitego oddania się Maryi w niewolę. W ten sposób Ildefons wprowadził do ascetyki Kościoła łacińskiego nowy rodzaj pobożności maryjnej. W całym dziele Maryja ukazana jest jako ta, która prowadzi człowieka do Chrystusa.
    The article discusses the teaching of Ildefonsus of Toledo on Mary based on the work De virginitate Sanctae Mariae. The author of the work focuses primarily on showing Mary’s virginity and Her virginal motherhood. He points out that Mary, as chosen by God to participate in the work of man’s salvation, enjoys exceptional graces, among which he mentions in the first place her immaculacy, that is, freedom from sin. In his argument about the eternal virginity of Mary, Ildefonsus refers to texts from the Holy Scripture, and also to prophecies recorded in the Old Testament. Acharacteristic feature of the work is the  interweaving of theological reflection with the texts of prayers that the Bishop of Toledo addresses to Mary. Their content expresses the desire to surrender oneself completely as a slave to Mary. In this way, Ildefonsus introduced a new kind of Marian devotion to the asceticism of the Latin Church. In the whole work, Mary is presented as the one who leads man to Christ.

    Opis:
    Celebration of the sacrament of baptism in the Hispanic-Mozarabic Rite, as in other liturgical families, was preceded by a period of the catechumenate to which the candidates were introduced by the special rite celebrated on Sunday in vicesima. This article analyzes the course of the celebration of the sacraments of initiation according to the norms from a revised rite and with reference to the earlier tradition reflected in the Liber Ordinum and Antiphonary of Leon. It explains the Visigoths’ practice of single immersion in water during the administration of the sacrament and various other rites, post-baptismal Triduum and acclamations typical for the Hispanic liturgy. Extensive euchology of this rite provides valuable information on sacramental theology, which betrays the African influences (in particular the reference to St. Augustine) and has been transmitted by St. Gregory of Elvira, St. Ildefonsus of Toledo and St. Isidore of Seville. It is worth emphasizing the pastoral dimension of the process of initiation visible in complex formulas and the variety of blessings received by catechumens and rituals celebrated in post-baptismal mystagogy.
    Celebracja sakramentu chrztu w rycie hiszpańsko-mozarabskim, podobnie jak w pozostałych rodzinach liturgicznych, poprzedzona jest katechumenatem, do którego kandydaci byli włączani poprzez specjalny ryt w niedzielę in vicesima. Artykuł analizuje przebieg celebracji sakramentów wtajemniczenia wedle norm obecnych w odnowionym rycie i z odniesieniem do wcześniejszych tradycji zapisanych w hiszpańskim Liber Ordinum i Antyfonarzu z Leon. Podkreśla się korzenie wizygockiej praktyki pojedynczego zanurzenia w wodzie podczas udzielania sakramentów, a także sens poszczególnych obrzędów wyjaśniających, Triduum pochrzcielnego i aklamacji typowo hiszpańskich. Rozbudowana euchologia dostarcza cennych informacji na temat teologii sakramentalnej, która zdradza wpływy afrykańskie i została przekazana przez św. Grzegorza z Elwiry, św. Ildefonsa z Toledo czy św. Izydora z Sewilli. Na podkreślenie zasługuje duszpasterski wymiar procesu wtajemniczenia widoczny w rozbudowanych formułach, licznych błogosławieństwach otrzymywanych przez katechumenów oraz obrzędach sprawowanych w czasie mistagogii pochrzcielnej.

    This is a study of the novel Loin d'eux by Laurent Mauvignier (1999) and Thésée, sa vie nouvelle by Camille de Toledo (2020). Through these two works, this article examines how the modalities of a survival of memory and of the traumatic memorial image are inscribed in the body and mind and how the narrative and scriptural forms resonate with them. I will first analyze how Mauvignier's writing of the wound meets inhibited speech and silence, suggesting in solitary subjects the failure for a shared language. I will then question in de Toledo's text how the relationship to a painful bodymemory proceeds from an inscription in the present, an awareness of a memorial corporality and a desire to “survive with”. Both these texts respectively give us pause to reflect on how the memory trace is apprehended through the power of speaking and listening.

    In abstract algebraic logic, many systems, such as those paraconsistent logics taking inspiration from da Costa's hierarchy, are not algebraizable by even the broadest standard methodologies, as that of Blok and Pigozzi. However, these logics can be semantically characterized by means of non-deterministic algebraic structures such as Nmatrices, RNmatrices and swap structures. These structures are based on multialgebras, which generalize algebras by allowing the result of an operation to assume a non-empty set of values. This leads to an interest in exploring the foundations of multialgebras applied to the study of logic systems. It is well known from universal algebra that, for every signature \(\Sigma\), there exist algebras over \(\Sigma\) which are absolutely free, meaning that they do not satisfy any identities or, alternatively, satisfy the universal mapping property for the class of \(\Sigma\)-algebras. Furthermore, once we fix a cardinality of the generating set, they are, up to isomorphisms, unique, and equal to algebras of terms (or propositional formulas, in the context of logic). Equivalently, the forgetful functor, from the category of \(\Sigma\)-algebras to Set, has a left adjoint. This result does not extend to multialgebras. Not only multialgebras satisfying the universal mapping property do not exist, but the forgetful functor \(\mathcal{U}\), from the category of \(\Sigma\)-multialgebras to Set, does not have a left adjoint. In this paper we generalize, in a natural way, algebras of terms to multialgebras of terms, whose family of submultialgebras enjoys many properties of the former. One example is that, to every pair consisting of a function, from a submultialgebra of a multialgebra of terms to another multialgebra, and a collection of choices (which selects how a homomorphism approaches indeterminacies), there corresponds a unique homomorphism, what resembles the universal mapping property. Another example is that the multialgebras of terms are generated by a set that may be viewed as a strong basis, which we call the ground of the multialgebra. Submultialgebras of multialgebras of terms are what we call weakly free multialgebras. Finally, with these definitions at hand, we offer a simple proof that multialgebras with the universal mapping property for the class of all multialgebras do not exist and that \(\mathcal{U}\) does not have a left adjoint.

    The aim of the presented study is to identify the attitudes of future teachers (in pre-service teacher education) toward Augmented Reality (AR) applications. The innovation experience was carried out in the academic year 2016/17. For the collection of data, the Augmented Reality Applications Attitude Scale (ARAAS), by Küçük, Yilmaz, Baydaş & Göktaş (2014), was adapted to the Spanish context. It is a Likert scale grouped into three dimensions that determine the attitudes of future teachers toward the use of AR applications in education, which are Relevance, Satisfaction and Reliability. In order to analyse data, the statistical software SPSS 23.0 was used. The Bartlett test of sphericity and the Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) test for sampling adequacy were also conducted. Results of the study led to the following conclusions: the students developed a favourable attitude in their role as future teachers toward the use of AR applications as learning tools, which have also provided deep learning.

    The article tackles the issue of the theological structure of the revived Hispanic Mozarabic rite that had been formed in the Iberian Peninsula in the vicinity of the three metropolitan sees: Seville, Toledo and Tarragona. Formation of the rite was a long process, in which a prominent role was played by the great Spanish theologians, with St Isidore of Seville and St Ildephonsus of Toledo in the foreground. Suspended under the influence of Romanization of the native liturgy in the 11th century, it survived only among the Christians who lived in the areas dominated by Muslims, and after Toledo was liberated in 1085 King Alfonso VI allowed using the Hispanic Mozarabic rite in six parishes of the town. After the Vatican Council II, under the direction of the Archbishop of Toledo Cardinal Marcelo Gonzalez, the superior of the Hispanic Mozarabic rite in Spain, a revision and publication of liturgical books of this rite was begun. In its basic structure the Eucharist in the Hispanic Mozarabic rite is constituted by: a) introductory rites; b) Liturgy of the Word; c) Offertory – the Diptychs – the sign of peace; d) Eucharistic prayer; e) Communion rites. The author discusses each element of the Eucharistic liturgy of the rite in detail and he points to the exceptional features that distinguish it from the Roman liturgy: the euchological exuberance, the symbols, the interventions of the congregation, the wealth of the Liturgy of the Word, the peace rite through the Eucharistic liturgy, the presence of the Diptychs, and the gesture of the breaking of the bread that remembers the mysteries of Christ’s life.

    Miocene deposits of the Santa Cruz Formation, Patagonia, comprise a diverse and excellently preserved vertebrate fauna, allowing detailed paleobiological and paleoecological studies based on three ecological parameters: body mass, diet, and substrate preference. In contrast to the small and arboreal extant sloths, Bradypus and Choloepus, Santacrucian sloths were much more diverse and larger, and comprised 11 genera previously characterized as arboreal or climbing forms. Here, we focus on body mass estimation based on measurements of postcranial elements. We present a morphometric database comprising 64 linear, base-ten logged variables applied to Santacrucian sloths and a wide sample of extant mammals, as well as the body mass of the extant taxa as reported in the literature. To detect any potential phylogenetical bias, we performed a variance decomposition test on our sample of extant mammals. Based on four orthogram statistics, logged body mass was found not to be dependent on phylogenetic tree topology. Predictive equations for the body mass of extant mammals were generated through multiple regression analysis, using weighting procedures to avoid taxonomic biases and stepwise analysis to discard redundant variables. Using this procedure, we derived separate equations for the scapula, humerus, radius, ulna, pelvis, femur, tibia plus fibula, astragalus, and calcaneum. These equations were then applied to estimate the body mass of our sample of Santacrucian sloths. We obtained an average body mass of about 70 kg for the megalonychid Eucholoeops. Among stem megatherioids, Hapalops ranged between 30 and 80 kg, Analcimorphus was estimated at 67 kg, and Schismotherium at 44 kg. Larger genera included the megatheriid Prepotherium (~123 kg), and the mylodontids Analcitherium (~88 kg) and Nematherium (~89 kg). The medium to large body size of Santacrucian sloths imposed constraints on their climbing abilities. Megalonychids and stem megatherioids were likely unable to access the finest branches, while megatheriids and mylodonts were more terrestrial forms.

    Domenikos Theotokopoulos, powszechnie znany jako El Greco, od 1589 r. zamieszkiwał w pałacu markiza de Villeny, dokąd powrócił w 1604 r., by pozostać tam już do śmierci (1614). Przedmioty będące własnością malarza wymienione zostały w dwóch inwentarzach, spisanych przez jego syna, Jorge Manuela, w 1614 oraz 1621 r. W świetle tych przekazów archiwalnych zarówno wyposażenie domu greckiego malarza, jak i jego biblioteka prezentują się bardzo skromnie. Jednakowoż artysta wynajmował pałac umeblowany, dlatego też w inwentarzach odnotowano tylko i wyłącznie przedmioty będące własnością Theotokopoulosa. Nie wiemy, na ile szczegółowy był zapis inwentarza sporządzonego po śmierci artysty, biorąc pod uwagę, iż jego długi miały być wyrównane przez różnej klasy dobra pozostawione w jego domu. Z kolei w inwentarzu z 1621 r. pojawiają się nowe przedmioty, które mogły być nabyte już przez Jorge Manuela w czasie, gdy zajmował to samo mieszkanie wraz ze swoją pierwszą żoną. Z pomocą tych dwóch inwentarzy w dużej mierze udało się zrekonstruować pierwotną bibliotekę El Greca, a nawet odnaleźć kilka dzieł na marginesie opatrzonych przez artystę komentarzami dotyczącymi architektury i malarstwa. Intensywny rozwój intelektualny greckiego malarza, zapoczątkowany na Krecie, znalazł swe dopełnienie poprzez kontakt ze znakomitymi dziełami włoskich mistrzów, a także dzięki relacjom z włoską elitą intelektualną i lekturze bardzo zróżnicowanych prac, cieszących się wówczas dużą popularnością, dotyczących głównie teorii artystycznych i architektury. Zainteresowanie się tymi dziedzinami zainspirowało malarza do napisania niezachowanego traktatu o architekturze oraz do projektowania szeregu retabulów przeznaczonych na ekspozycję jego obrazów. Nic przeto dziwnego, iż w swej bibliotece El Greco posiadał kilka egzemplarzy traktatu Witruwiusza oraz prace Sebastiana Serlia, Andrei Palladia czy Jacopa Barozziego da Vignoli. Biblioteka Theotokopoulosa była starannie wyselekcjonowana pod kątem dzieł z humanistyki. Znajdowało się w niej dwadzieścia siedem książek w języku greckim, lecz dominowały tam prace pisane w języku włoskim, podczas gdy niemal nie występowały publikacje w języku łacińskim. Jeśli już zawierała dzieła kultury rzymskiej, pojawiały się one we włoskich tłumaczeniach. Także wydań w języku hiszpańskim było w porównaniu z włoskimi niewiele. Biblioteka El Greca, zawierająca dużą ilość książek humanistycznych, zwłaszcza po grecku i włosku, może świadczyć o jego szczególnych zainteresowaniach, a być może nawet o profilu jego wykształcenia. Niestety, po śmierci malarza i konfiskacie jego dóbr w 1622 r., w związku z niewywiązaniem się z zobowiązań wobec Hospital Tavera w Toledo, biblioteka El Greca przepadła bezpowrotnie.
    Domenikos Theotokopoulos known as El Greco up until 1589 lived in the palace of Marquis de Villeny, where he returned in 1604 and stayed there until his death (1614). The items owned by the painter were listed in two inventories composed by his son Jorge Manuel in 1614 and 1621. In the light of those sources both the equipment of the painters’ house and his library appear very modest. The library of Theotokopoulos was carefully selected paying special attention on the humanistic works. There were twenty seven books in Greek; the majority of the library included works written in Italian while the Latin books were few indeed, except some Italian translations of some works of the ancient Roman culture. Also the Spanish editions were not much in comparison with the Italian ones. His library can testify to his special interests in humanism; perhaps it shows also the profile of his education. Unfortunately after his death and after the confiscation of his goods in 1622 the library was irretrievably lost.

    We characterized 17 insect-pathogenic entomophthoralean fungal isolates (Entomophthoromycotina: Entomophthorales) using morphological and molecular techniques. We identified four species from various insect hosts: (i) Entomophthora planchoniana, six specimens from aphids; (ii) Pandora neoaphidis, three specimens from aphids; (iii) Zoophthora phalloides from an aphid; and (iv) Z. radicans, seven specimens from insects in the orders Diptera, Hemiptera, and Lepidoptera. Analysis of ITS1 data from E. planchoniana showed clustering in accordance to aphid host species. Entomophthora planchoniana from Macrosiphum euphorbiae clustered together, separate from the isolate from Myzus persicae. The P. neoaphidis specimens clustered with sequences from other aphid-pathogenic Pandora species in GenBank. In this study, Z. phalloides from Brevicoryne brassicae and Z. radicans from an unidentified species of Chironomidae (Diptera) in Argentina were characterized for the first time. The present study was initiated to elucidate the taxonomy of the entomophthoralean fungi in Argentina according to their morphological and molecular characters. The presented results emphasize the significance of the combination of molecular data and information on morphology, ecology, and host range for accurate identification of entomophthoralean and allied genera.

    Many species of Trichoderma produce secondary metabolites such as volatile organic compounds (VOCs) that reduce plant diseases and promote their growth. In this work we evaluated the antagonistic effects of VOCs released by eight strains of two Trichoderma species against Pyrenophora teres Drechsler, the causal agent of barley net blotch. Antagonism was estimated based on the percentage of mycelial growth inhibition according to the confronted cultures method. VOCs extraction and identification were performed by gas chromatography and mass spectrometry, through different methodologies for VOCs emitted by antagonists and pathogens alone or when confronted. VOCs produced by all Trichoderma strains inhibited mycelial growth of the pathogen in a range of 3 to 32%, showing weak and unpigmented mycelia with vacuolization. In addition, P. teres stimulated the release of VOCs by both Trichoderma species. The major groups of VOCs detected were sesquiterpenes, followed by diterpenes, terpenoids and eight-carbon compounds. This is the first report about characterization of volatiles emitted by Trichoderma in the presence of P. teres.

    W tekście zaprezentowano badania prowadzone przez Instytut Pamięci Narodowej na terenie nieistniejącego już więzienia „Toledo”, właściwie więzienia karno-śledczego nr III w Warszawie. Był to areszt Urzędu Bezpieczeństwa i NKWD przeznaczony dla żołnierzy Armii Krajowej, Narodowych Sił Zbrojnych oraz innych organizacji podziemnych, działający w latach 1944–1956. „Toledo”, znajdujące się na warszawskie Pradze-Północ należało do najcięższych w komunistycznym systemie więziennictwa w Polsce. IPN zajmował się zbieraniem informacji na temat więzienia, zarządzających nim funkcjonariuszy, przeprowadzonych egzekucji i miejscem pochówku zabitych tam więźniów. Pierwsze badania przeprowadzano w formie wizji lokalnej w 2015 roku. Następnie gromadzono dokumenty, wspomnienia, mapy i fotografie. W 2020 roku podczas drugiej wizji znaleziono wówczas ludzkie szczątki należące do 18 osób, fragmenty ubrań, mundurów i pociski.

    The present study was undertaken to detect the presence of Chlamydophila psittaci antibodies in captive birds at the Wildlife Rescue Center, Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Nature Center, Quezon City, Philippines. Blood was collected from 36 birds of different species and the presence of antibodies against C. psittaci was detected using an ELISA-based test kit. 25% of the samples demonstrated antibodies against C. psittaci. The results of this study confi rmed the presence of C. psittaci antibodies among the captive birds examined.

    Women in Mexico have faced a series of obstacles in entering the decision-making sphere. It was evidenced in the 2017–2018 electoral process where gender-based political violence made visible the frameworks of the political system which undermines the rights of women and sex-generic diversities. In this article we return to the case of trans or muxe candidates, as well as the massive resignations of the so-called “manuelitas”. Both cases allow us to reflect on the challenges and setbacks in the substantive advancement of women.
    Las mujeres en México se han enfrentado a una serie de obstáculos y dificultades para incorporarse a los espacios de toma de decisiones, lo cual se evidenció en el proceso electoral 2017–2018 en donde la violencia política por razones de género visibilizó los entramados de un sistema político que atenta contra los derechos de las mujeres y de las diversidades sexo-genéricas. En este artículo retomamos el caso de las candidaturas trans o muxes, asi como las renuncias masivas de mujeres de las llamadas “manuelitas”. Ambos casos nos permiten reflexionar sobre los retos y retrocesos en el avance sustantivo de las mujeres.

    Cel: Celem artykułu jest przedstawienie zakresu informacji środowiskowych ujawnianych przez jednostki sektora opieki zdrowotnej w Europie. Metodologia/podejście badawcze: Cel został osiągnięty poprzez zbadanie bazy danych GRI Sustainability Disclosure Database, zawierającej raporty niefinansowe, oraz przeprowadzenie analizy treści tych raportów. Próba badawcza obejmuje 252 raporty opublikowane przez 65 jednostek sektora opieki zdrowotnej w latach 2001–2019. Wyniki: Wyniki badań wskazują, że informacje dotyczące energii ujawniane są najczęściej – w 213 raportach (95%). W 194 raportach niefinansowych (86%) jednostki opieki zdrowotnej informują o odpadach. Trzecie i czwarte z kolei kwestie środowiskowe to woda i ścieki (168 raportów – 75%) oraz emisje (166 raportów – 74%). Informacje dotyczące materiałów zawarte są w 134 raportach zrównoważonego rozwoju (60%), a odnoszące się do zgodności z przepisami o ochronie środowiska w 125 raportach (56%). Naj-rzadziej ujawnia się różnorodność biologiczną (60 raportów – 27%) i ocenę środowiskową dostawców (51 raportów – 23%). Implikacje/ograniczenia badawcze: W artykule przedstawiono pełny obraz praktyk raportowania in-formacji środowiskowych w sektorze usług opieki zdrowotnej w Europie w ciągu ostatnich 20 lat i przedsta-wiono interesujące spostrzeżenia na temat raportów niefinansowych, które są najpowszechniejszymi instrumentami stosowanymi przez jednostki w celu rozliczenia wyników działalności środowiskowej. Ograniczenia badawcze: baza danych GRI Sustainability Disclosure Database nie obejmuje wszystkich raportów opracowanych przez europejskie jednostki opieki zdrowotnej. Oryginalność/wartość: Badania te wzbogacają literaturę na temat sprawozdawczości niefinansowej sektora usług opieki zdrowotnej, dostarczając empirycznego obrazu jej rzeczywistego stanu w Europie. Artykuł wypełnia lukę badawczą w zakresie praktyk raportowania niefinansowego jednostek opieki zdrowotnej.

    Safety of crew, passengers, cargo and vessel is the most important aspect in terms of navigation. Boat Captain’s is responsible for the safety of vessel of less than 35GRT. The primary reason while MARINA conducting the MBSTC Training with Typhoon Awareness together with the ISCOF to be sure that they are enough knowledge in terms of safety at sea. Life is a very important to all of us that’s why the boat Captain must be aware about the safety of his crew, passengers, cargo and vessel. When disaster and emergency happen onboard you must know what to do. Based on this premise, the objective of this study is to train the Boat Captain and Motormen in Medical First Aid, Advanced Fire Fighting, Personal Survival Techniques and Collision Regulations. The study employed qualitative research using purposive sampling to gather the opinions and ideas of the respondents.

    The present paper is devoted to Maximianus, and in particular to the motif of mala senectutis as developed by this late antique (6th cent. A.D.) Latin elegiac poet. After discussing some particularly informative passages, I focus on Maximianus’s interpretations and reinterpretations by Columbanus (543 – 615), Eugenius of Toledo († 657), and the anonymous author of the ninth century Imitatio Maximiani. I also point out his presence in vernacular medieval literature, namely English. Last but not least, I demonstrate how Maximianus’s image of an old man praying to Mother Earth inspired one of medieval scribes copying his text (in ms BJ 2141).

    Objectives: To analyze the pedagogical competences of Physical Education teachers of Santa Clara (Cuba) for the inclusion of schoolchildren with disabilities.Methods: The sample consisted of 90 Physical Education teachers (53 men and 37 women) from Santa Clara (Cuba). The instrument used was the Self-Efficacy Scale for Physical Education Teacher Education Majors towards Children with Disabilities (SE-PETE-D). An experimental study was developed, comparing the perception of pedagogical competence of the participating teachers, before and after applying a set of training workshops about inclusive Physical Education.Findings: Initially, the Physical Education teachers studied recognized that they were not competent to carry out the process of including schoolchildren with disabilities in Physical Education classes. Those teachers who participated in the training workshops about inclusive Physical Education significantly improved (p<0.05 in all indicators) their pedagogical competence for the inclusion of schoolchildren with disabilities in the class.Conclusions: This study showed a low initial level of pedagogical competence in Physical Education teachers of Santa Clara (Cuba) for the inclusion of schoolchildren with disabilities, but also confirmed the effectiveness of applying training workshops about inclusive Physical Education to improve the pedagogical competence of Physical Education teachers.
    Objetivos: Analizar las competencias pedagógicas de profesores de Educación Física de Santa Clara (Cuba) para la inclusión de escolares con discapacidad.Métodos: La muestra estuvo compuesta por 90 profesores de Educación Física (53 hombres y 37 mujeres) del municipio Santa Clara (Cuba). El instrumento utilizado fue la Escala de Autoeficacia en Profesores de Educación Física hacia Alumnos con Discapacidad (EA-PEF-AD). Se desarrolló un estudio experimental, comparando la percepción de competencia pedagógica de los profesores participantes, antes y después de aplicar un conjunto de talleres de formación en Educación Física inclusiva.Resultados: Inicialmente, los profesores de Educación Física estudiados reconocieron no ser competentes para llevar a cabo el proceso de inclusión de escolares con discapacidad en las clases de Educación Física. Aquellos profesores que participaron en los talleres de formación sobre Educación Física inclusiva mejoraron significativamente (p<0,05 en todos los indicadores) su competencia pedagógica para la inclusión de escolares con discapacidad en la clase.Conclusiones: Este estudio mostró un bajo nivel inicial de competencia pedagógica en profesores de Educación Física de Santa Clara (Cuba) para la inclusión de escolares con discapacidad, pero también confirmó la eficacia de aplicar talleres de formación sobre Educación Física inclusiva para mejorar la competencia pedagógica de los profesores de Educación Física.

    Opis:
    La relación entre humor y feminismo ha sido siempre compleja. Especialmente, por el rol que ha jugado históricamente el humor en la reproducción de estereotipos de género y la contribu-ción a la subordinación de las mujeres tanto en el espacio doméstico como en la esfera pública. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar cómo, mediante el humor gráfico, se representa a las mujeres, y sus luchas por alcanzar el derecho al sufragio. Para ello se realiza un análisis mul-timodal que articula texto escrito y visual para identificar las representaciones de las mujeres como grupos, las mujeres de forma individual, las demandas de derechos de estas mujeres y las opiniones sociales al respecto y que se representan en el discurso del humor gráfico en la prensa costarricense, entre 1947 y 1953. Para ello se realiza un análisis, con enfoque cualitativo, de caricaturas publicadas en los sema-narios El Trapiche y La Semana Cómica, y en el Diario de Costa Rica, en el período antes señalado. Los criterios de selección incluyen: que las mujeres sean sujetos en las imágenes, que se evidencie rasgos de participación política y que, además, de imagen, la caricatura con-tenga texto, que permita realizar un contraste entre lenguaje hablado y escrito. Para el análisis se emplean elementos de Análisis Multimodal del Discurso. Uno de los resultados principales es, además de la reproducción de estereotipos acerca de la participación política de las mujeres, señalar cómo se reproducen las nociones dicotómicas de lo que es ser mujer y el peligro que estas representan para los hombres como grupo político.
    The connection between feminism and humor have always been at least complicated because of the role played by humor in the reproduction of gender stereotypes and its contribution to the subordination of women, both in the domestic space and the public sphere. This paper aims to analyze how, through graphic humor, women are represented, and their struggles to achieve the right to suffrage through the use of critical analysis of multimodal dis-course in order to identify the representations of women as groups, women individually, the demands of women’s rights in three Costa Rican papers, between 1947 and 1953: El Trapiche and La Semana Cómica, and Diario de Costa Rica. One of the main results is, in addition to the reproduction of stereotypes about the political participation of women and women in general, and how those stereotypes are constructed through the language of common sense and male gaze.
