- This article is a concise presentation of 150 volumes of „Prakseologia”. In the years 1962–1966, there appeared 22 volumes of „Materiały Prakseologiczne”. In 1966 the magazine changed its title to „Prakseologia”, but the first volume under this name was published as number 23. In the first period, the development of the magazine owed much to its institutional base. The Research Center for General Theory of Organization, founded in 1958 by the President of the Polish Academy of Sciences Prof. Tadeusz Kotarbiński, and from 1967 – the Research Center for Praxiology of the Polish Academy of Sciences. After 1990, following various organizational changes – scientific activities of the Research Center for Praxiology weakened, and the magazine was mainly supported by the Scientifi c Society of Praxiology founded in 1990. The author focuses on mono-thematic and occasional volumes, dedicated to prominent representatives of praxiology. „Prakseologia” has been published for nearly half a century and its scientific output cannot be fully described in a single article, it requires a thorough (profound) team study.
