    The article presents the issues of the research method in assessing the impact of tire wear on the error of measuring digital recording devices used in heavy goods vehicles. The information related to the occurring measurement error in mounted digital recording devices has been presented in the driver's cab, analysis of detected violations in road transport related not only directly to the measurement error and solving the problem with the proposed research methodology. Finding out how to solve the problem is associated with fewer violations in road transport.
    W artykule zaprezentowano problematykę metody badawczej w ocenie wpływu zużycia ogumienia na błąd pomiaru cyfrowych urządzeń rejestrujących zastosowanych w pojazdach ciężarowych. Przedstawiono informacje związane z występującym błędem pomiarowym w cyfrowych urządzeniach rejestrujących zamontowanych w kabinie kierowcy, analizę wykrytych naruszeń w transporcie drogowym związanym nie tylko bezpośrednio z błędem pomiarowym oraz rozwiązanie problemu z proponowaną metodyką badawczą. Poznanie rozwiązania problemu wiążę się z mniejszą ilością występujących naruszeń w transporcie drogowym.

    The tachograph is the oldest recording device, which belongs to the Group of ORD (On Board Recording Devices). It was introduced in the USA in 1939. Digital tachograph, the new advanced type of recording device in road transport, was introduced by Council Regulation No 2135/98 of 24 September 1998 with the beginning of May 2006, in the area of the European Union. “In contrast to its analogue predecessors the digital tachograph was introduced to facilitate the control of rest and driving times and to prevent manipulation attempt. In order to prevent abuse, it has been made the system of cryptologic keys and certificates stored in cards and devices, allowing creating explicit laws of users and authentic data recorded in, cards and devices. The Hasler Event Recorder was introduced in the 1920s. Regrettably, the construction of analogue tachograph, an original type of tachograph is used in road transport, encouraged to numerous frauds and counterfeits of social rules for drivers. Secure digital tachograph system is indisputably a means having the great influence on road safety, enforcement of the social conditions for drivers in road transport as well as supporting the fair competition between road transport undertakings. In order to better monitor the compliance of road transport with the rules in force, inter alia the provisions on usage the digital tachographs, the European Union regulation introduces the European Registers of Road Transport Undertakings (ERRU), a system that allows a better exchange of information between Member States.

    W artykule wykorzystano zapisy cyfrowe z kamer wideo w rekonstrukcji przebiegu wypadku. Z uwagi na coraz większe zastosowanie kamer wideo w pojazdach samochodowych, których sprzedaż lawinowo rośnie, przytoczono zapisy cyfrowe z kamery samochodowej i monitoringu miejskiego w praktyce biegłego, którego między innymi zadaniem jest ustalenie przebiegu zdarzenia drogowego i wskazanie przyczyn jego zaistnienia. Wizualizacja przebiegu zdarzenia i określenie miejsca kolizji oraz wzajemnego usytuowania pojazdów na drodze jest cennym i mocnym dowodem w kwestii popełnionych nieprawidłowości przez uczestników zdarzenia.
    This article shows the practical use of digital camera recorded videos in the reconstruction of road accidents. Due to the increasing use of video cameras in vehicles, the sale of this type cameras is growing fast. The visualization of the course of events, the determination of the place of the collision and the relative position of vehicles on the road is valuable and strong evidence of the irregularities committed by the participants of the event.

    W pracy nakreślono problem identyfikacji koderów MP3 oraz urządzeń rejestrujących na podstawie analizy nagrań fonicznych poddanych stratnej kompresji. Zaproponowana metoda może być wykorzystana jako wsparcie dla innych rozwiązań służących do wykrywania podwójnej kompresji oraz detekcji nieciągłości. Prezentowane podejście polega na statystycznej analizie zmiennych pozyskanych bezpośrednio ze strumienia danych MP3 i stanowiących nieodłączne parametry kompresji. Wyznaczone wektory składające się z 46 cech zostały użyte jako sekwencje treningowe liniowej analizy dyskryminacyjnej (LDA), jednego z najpopularniejszych algorytmów uczenia maszynowego z nadzorem. Skuteczność metody identyfikacji koderów MP3 oraz urządzeń rejestrujących została przetestowana na specjalnie przygotowanej w tym celu bazie nagrań muzycznych składającej się z blisko miliona plików MP3. Wyniki badań zostały omówione w kontekście wpływu parametrów kompresji na możliwość detekcji fałszerstw w cyfrowych nagraniach fonicznych.
    The paper outlines the problem of identification of MP3 encoders and recording devices based on the analysis of audio recordings subjected to lossy datę compression. The proposed method can be used as a support for other solutions used to detect double compression and discontinuities. The approach is based on the statistical analysis of the variables obtained directly from the MP3 data stream and constitute an inherent element of compression performance. Designated vectors consisting of 46 features were used as training sequences of linear discriminant analysis (LDA), one of the most popular supervised machinę learning algorithms. The effectiveness of this algorithms for the identification of MP3 encoders and recording equipment was tested on a musie database consisting of nearly one million MP3 files, specially prepared for this purpose. The results of the research were discussed in the context of the influence of compression parameters on the ability to detect falsification in digital audio recordings.

    Cryptography is a field of science necessary to solve problems with encryption of classified messages. The security of electronic information is an integral part of the digital tachography system. From year to year, there is a noticeable increase in electronic data logging systems in many aspects of life. The control measures created for the purpose of performing roadside checks are not sufficient to detect all violations in the recording equipment. Many violations that have occurred during the use of the vehicle are stored in the device’s memory. The article describes the basic mathematical rules illuminating cryptography. The hazards to which the motion sensor installed in the vehicle may be exposed are described. Breaking safety in transport systems may lead to incorrect results of inspections carried out while the vehicle is stopped by authorized services. The article also provides information on the authorities responsible for issuing cards for digital tachographs. Nowadays, documents are increasingly issued with the use of a digital signature. The digital signature of its origin is based on the principles of cryptography. The security key seems to be complicated for the average user. The article discusses the topic of tachograph construction, in particular the schematic responsible for information encryption.

    Digital tachographs as devices recording the work of a lorry and driver’s work are a constant factor in the work of a professional driver. It is therefore important to preserve the security of recording and storing electronic information. In this matter, cryptography also becomes an inseparable field of science. The control services set up to conduct roadside inspections do not detect all violations in the recording devices by encrypting information in information systems. One of the frequent vehicle operating parameters that can be falsified are the speed of the vehicle and its rotational speed, as well as the time and efficiency of the driver’s work. These parameters affect the amount of fuel consumption. The reduction of fuel consumption translates directly to the reduction of harmful substances emitted by the car to the environment. Variable compression engines are becoming the future of motoring in the case of internal combustion engines. It is noticeable that there are more frequent deliberate of regulations; and more violations rules concerning the proper functioning of recording devices by recording driver activity. Current methods of preventing violations are insufficient. The article points out the violations related to the actual rotational speed of the crankshaft of the internal combustion engine in relation to the vehicle speed profile, which is directly related to the fuel consumption and the emission of harmful substances. The article describes the ways to reduce fuel consumption, of which the correct driving technique is important in addition to the previously marked parameters. The factors that increase the awareness of professional drivers in the aspect of proper driving techniques are described.

    Opis:
    The proposed segmentation method uses the two-layer data model of digital images. The two-layer data model consists of a different value layer and a base value layer. An original image pixel values are obtained by appropriate combining pixel values of both layers. A base pixel value together with corresponding difference pixel values constitute a data cluster. The principle of segmentation is division of an image greyscale into disjoint ranges and assigning of individually base values to the proper ranges. The segmentation process utilizes the base values mainly and therefore proposed technique is computationally attractive.
    W proponowanej metodzie segmentacji wykorzystuje się dwuwarstwowy model danych obrazów cyfrowych. Model ten składa się z warstwy wartości różnicowych oraz warstwy wartości bazowych. Pierwotna wartość piksela jest otrzymywana przez odpowiednie łączenie wartości pikseli z obu warstw. Wartość bazowa piksela wraz z odpo-wiadającymi mu wartościami różnicowymi tworzą klaster danych. Zasada segmentacji polega na podziale przedziału poziomów szarości na rozłączne zakresy oraz przyporządkowaniu poszczególnych wartości bazowych do odpowiednich zakresów. W procesie segmentacji wykorzystywane są głównie wartości bazowe i dlatego proponowana technika jest oblicze-niowo atrakcyjna.

Despite the usage of the most advanced keys and protection systems, it has been observed that, in relation to the elements of the digital tachograph system, there are many ways to register invalid data. The European Union has taken action to prevent them, however, they must be implemented in daily life.
    W artykule przedstawiono główne zagadnienia dotyczące pokładowych urządzeń rejestrujących, jakimi są cyfrowe urządzenia rejestrujące stosowane w transporcie drogowym. W artykule przedstawiono zagadnienia dokładności wykonania sprawdzania okresowego, w tym kalibracji w aspekcie bezpieczeństwa funkcjonowania systemu tachografów cyfrowych. Ponadto przedstawiono zagadnienie związane z naruszeniami bezpieczeństwa tego systemu.

    W artykule przedstawiono tematykę cyfrowych urządzeń rejestrujących przeznaczonych do rejestrowania czasu pracy kierowców w aspekcie wdrożenia w Unii Europejskiej systemu tzw. dobrej reputacji. Ponadto w artykule zaprezentowano elementy bezpieczeństwa tego systemu w aspekcie innych uczestników ruchu drogowego i ich bezpieczeństwa na drodze.

Jest ona sporządzana i uzupełniana przez osoby posiadające odpowiednie kwalifikacje. Mierniczy górniczy oraz geolog górniczy wykonują na potrzeby ruchu zakładu górniczego różnego rodzaju pomiary, obmiary czy też obliczenia. Wyniki tych prac są wykorzystywane między innymi do tworzenia map wyrobisk górniczych. W celu realizacji zadań związanych z obsługą mierniczą i geologiczną zakładu górniczego wykorzystywane są również metody i narzędzia informatyczne. Duża dostępność oprogramowania związanego z wizualizacją wyników pomiarów geodezyjnych czy też geologicznych pozwala na zmianę formy sporządzania dokumentów kartograficznych i tekstowych wchodzących w skład dokumentacji mierniczo-geologicznej. W celu spełnienia wymogów, jakie stawia się dokumentacji mierniczo-geologicznej zakładu górniczego, niezbędne jest zapewnienie sporządzanym dokumentom odpowiednich cech. Przejście z tradycyjnego sposobu sporządzania i aktualizacji map górniczych na elektroniczny system obsługi zasobu mapowego wymaga podjęcia szeregu skomplikowanych i czasochłonnych działań. Polegają one na przenoszeniu zasobu map w środowisko cyfrowe, standaryzacji w zakresie warstw tematycznych oraz aktualizacji postępu wyrobisk i innych elementów stanowiących treść map górniczych. W artykule przedstawiono i scharakteryzowano również poszczególne elementy wpływające na sposób zarządzania cyfrową dokumentacją mierniczo-geologiczną.
    One of the kind of documentation's which mine entrepreneur has, is a surveyor-geological documentation. The documentation can be made up or completed only by certificated mine surveyors and geologist in accordance with their qualifications. The surveyor and the geologist do for a mining establishment many kinds of measurements, quantity surveys and calculations. Results of these works can be used, among other for creating maps of mining excavations. To realize this tasks, which are connected with surveyor-geological documentation the computer methods and tools also can be used. The large accessibility of the software connected with visualisation of results of survey or geological measurements allows to change the form of preparing the cartographic and textual documents which compose of the surveyor-geological documentation. For meeting the obligations, which are needed in the surveyor-geological documentation it is necessary, that the documents have special features. The passage from traditional way to electronic system of documents preparing and updating needs special methods and demands time-consuming works. The digital surveyor-geological documentation needs to transfer traditional maps in to digital environment, standardize thematic layers as well as to prepare special procedures for actualization of excavations progress as well as other elements on the mining maps. The paper presents and characterises also individual elements influencing essentially management of digital records referring to survey and geological data.
