Opis:
The article presents rudimentary information on how the right to privacy is understood in the doctrine and case law of the European Court of Human Rights, the Polish Constitutional Tribunal, the Supreme Court and common courts. In the first place, the author will discuss protection of the right to privacy in light of the acts of international law and the Constitution of the Republic of Poland. Then, selected judgments linked with the right to privacy in certain aspects will be discussed. The article ends with conclusions on how the right to privacy is understood as well as the observable contemporary threats to its protection.

W artykule przedstawiono zespół pałacowo-parkowy w Kościelcu, obecnie dzielnicy Chrzanowa, i składające się na jego genius loci wartości materialne i niematerialne, w tym różne formy sacrum tu występujące. Omówiono opracowane dla obiektu studia historyczno-krajobrazowe oraz projekt rewaloryzacji parku pałacowego, który stał się przestrzenią publiczną. Materiały kartograficzne pozwoliły w części odtworzyć historyczny układ komunikacji i wnętrz parkowych. Wobec bardzo skromnej ikonografii i materiałów źródłowych zastosowano studia porównawcze, wykorzystano też ówczesne poradniki zakładania ogrodów. Rozważano też potencjalne zagrożenia parku i sfery sacrum w sytuacji przekształceń i zmian funkcji.
This paper presents the palace and park complex in Kościelec, which is currently a district of Chrzanów, and the tangible and intangible values that make up its genius loci, including various forms of the sacred present there. The historical and landscape studies focusing on the structure and a restoration design of the palace, which became a public space, were presented. Cartographic materials allowed for a partial recreation of the complex’s circulation layout and its park interiors. Due to very modest amounts of iconography and source materials, comparative studies were used as well as period garden design manuals. Potential threats to the park and the sphere of the sacred in the event of alterations and changes in use were discussed.

Opis:
The study addresses the special role of the teacher/school in the area of safeguarding against contemporary social and health threats (such as, for example, modern drugs and legal highs, cyberbullying, gambling, mutilation of body, eating disorders). The modern world is full of civilisation threats, which as consequences – directly or indirectly – affect the development of children and young people. Because of the dynamically changing reality, more and more often the consequences for preparing young people for everyday life or future, lie upon teachers. It is them – teachers/educators – who have (or should have) extensive knowledge about correct development of young people as well as about contemporary threats. At the same time, all preventive measures should not eliminate from this process parents, who do not always have sufficient knowledge about the world in which their children function.
W opracowaniu omówniono szczególną rolę nauczyciela/szkoły w zakresie szkolnej profilaktyki współczesnych zagrożeń społecznych i zdrowotnych (takich jak na przykład współczesne narkotyki i dopalacze, cyberprzemoc, hazard, okaleczanie ciała, zaburzenia odżywiania). Współczesny świat jest pełen zagrożeń cywilizacyjnych, które w sposób bezpośredni lub pośredni wpływają na rozwój dzieci i młodzieży. Dynamicznie zmieniająca się rzeczywistość sprawia, że coraz częściej odpowiedzialność za przygotowanie młodych ludzi do codziennego życia, do przyszłości, spoczywa na nauczycielach. To właśnie oni – nauczyciele, wychowawcy – dysponują (lub powinni dysponować) szeroką wiedzą na temat prawidłowego rozwoju młodego człowieka i współczesnych zagrożeń. Zarazem wszelkie działania profilaktyczne nie powinny eliminować z tego procesu rodziców, którzy nie zawsze posiadają wystarczający zakres wiedzy na temat świata, w którym funkcjonują ich dzieci.

Przedmiotem niniejszego opracowania jest dialog w szkole. Celem teoretycznym jest ukazanie dialogu w szkole na bazie literatury przedmiotu, a celem praktycznym ukazanie, jak osoby, które w przyszłości będą pełniły (a niektóre już pełnią) funkcję dyrektorów szkół, postrzegają istotę dialogu. Posłużono się strategią badań jakościowych, natomiast metodą była dyskusja grupowa. Jeżeli chodzi o grupę badawczą, to respondenci zostali dobrani losowo wśród słuchaczy studiów podyplomowych, na kierunku oświata i zarządzanie w oświacie w Akademii Ignatianum w Krakowie. Byli to obecni oraz potencjalni dyrektorzy szkół. W ramach niniejszego artykułu została przedstawiona istota dialogu i współczesne jego zagrożenia wynikające z warunków obecnego życia. Autorka dokonała próby charakterystyki współczesnej polskiej szkoły w kontekście podejmowania dialogu. Artykuł zawiera także przedstawienie analizy i wniosków badań własnych, w tym szeroko przedstawionych wniosków do dalszej praktyki edukacyjnej. Należą tu przede wszystkim sugestie: ciągłego podnoszenia kompetencji komunikacyjnych wśród nauczycieli i pozostałych podmiotów życia szkoły; poznawania własnych emocji i postaw, które warunkują dialog oraz pracę nad nimi; zwrócenia baczniejszej uwagi na korzyści z dialogu w ramach placówek edukacyjnych przez wypracowanie odpowiednich strategii w celu ulepszania i podtrzymywania dialogu: organizacji bezpłatnych warsztatów dialogu na terenie kraju w celu podnoszenia kultury dialogu narodu polskiego; wzięcia pod uwagę konieczność dostosowania dialogu do rozmówcy, w tym do osób z obcych krajów.
The subject of this study is dialogue at school. The theoretical aim is to show dialogue at school on the basis of literature on the subject, and the practical goal is to show how current and future school directors perceive the essence of dialogue. The qualitative research strategy was used, with the choice of method being the group interview. In terms of the research group, the respondents were chosen randomly from among postgraduate students, in the field of education and management in the Jesuit University of Philosophy and Education Ignatianum in Krakow. These included current and potentially future school headmasters. As part of this article, the essence of dialogue and contemporary threats resulting from the conditions of modern life are presented. The author attempts to characterize the contemporary Polish compulsory school in the context of undertaking a dialogue. This article also presents the analysis and conclusions of their own research, including conclusions for further educational practice. These include the following suggestions: continuous improvement of communication skills among teachers and other subjects of school life; learning about our own emotions and attitudes that condition dialogue and work on them; pay closer attention to the benefits of dialogue within educational institutions – developing appropriate strategies and adopting philosophies/discourses in order to improve and maintain dialogue; organization of free dialogue workshops throughout the country in order to increase the culture of dialogue of the Polish nation; taking into account the need to adapt the dialogue to the interlocutor, including people from foreign countries.

Freedom of expression and freedom of the press form guarantee and emphasize the democratic character of a state. The dissemination of information and opinions is a prerequisite of democracy, which essentially requires that citizens be guaranteed the possibility to participate in public affairs. An opportunity to learn some information and opinions is of paramount importance for broadening knowledge, sharpening the critical mind, shaping one’s own views and making rational and informed choices. For full access to information and opinions circulating in the public, it is necessary that it should be made public and media and their journalists will make it in the best way. The aim of this study was to compare constitutional legal solutions concerning freedom of expression and freedom of the press and the way they are effectuated in practice in theRepublicofArmeniaand in theRepublicofPoland.
Swoboda wypowiedzi i wolność prasy stanowią gwarancję i podkreślenie demokratycznego charakteru państwa. Przekazywanie informacji i opinii jest warunkiem demokracji, która z istoty swojej wymaga zagwarantowania obywatelom możliwości uczestnictwa w sprawach publicznych. Możliwość zapoznania się z informacjami i opiniami ma podstawowe znaczenie dla pogłębienia wiedzy, wyostrzenia zmysłu krytycznego, ukształtowania własnych poglądów oraz dokonywania racjonalnych i świadomych wyborów. Aby dostęp do informacji i opinii funkcjonujących w obiegu publicznym był pełny, konieczne jest ich upublicznienie, a najlepiej robią to media i zatrudnieni w nich dziennikarze. Celem opracowania było porównanie konstytucyjnych rozwiązań prawnych w zakresie swobody wypowiedzi i wolności prasy oraz sposobu ich urzeczywistniania w praktyce w Republice Armenii i Rzeczypospolitej Polskiej.

Zawarte w prezentowanym tekście rozważania skłaniają do refleksji nad kondycją współczesnej młodzieży, która jako grupa oscylująca pomiędzy dzieciństwem a dorosłością jest najbardziej podatna na wpływy otaczającej rzeczywistości. Uwikłanie w tej zmiennej rzeczywistości oraz w procesy globalizacji i chaos wartości postmodernizmu czyni życie młodych ludzi bardzo trudnym i skomplikowanym. Młodzież szkolna i akademicka jest pod nadzwyczaj dużym oddziaływaniem szybko przeobrażającej się rzeczywistości, co nie pozostaje bez wpływu na sposób jej funkcjonowania w podstawowych środowiskach życia i rozwoju człowieka. Młodzi ludzie narażeni są dziś na wiele nieznanych dotąd zagrożeń i niebezpieczeństw.
The considerations included in the presented text encourage reflection on the condition of contemporary youth, which as a group oscillating between childhood and adulthood is the most susceptible to the influence of the surrounding reality. The entanglement into this changing reality and into the processes of globalization and the chaos of the postmodern values, makes the lives of young people extremely difficult and complicated. School and academic youth remain extremely influenced by increasingly changing reality, which leaves a negative impact on functioning in basic environment of human life and development. Young people are nowadays exposed to many unknown threats and dangers.

Celem niniejszego artykułu jest próba dokonania analizy, na ile instytucje publiczne realizują zobowiązania państwa związane z zapewnieniem obywatelom bezpieczeństwa, które pozwoli im na projektowanie prywatnej sfery swojego życia w zakresie potrzeb współczesnych społeczeństw według standardów bezpieczeństwa indywidualnego. W związku z powyższym poddano analizie wybrane rozważania teoretyczne, które odnoszą się do definiowania percepcji bezpieczeństwa. Analizie poddano także wyniki badań społecznych poruszających problemy związane z bezpieczeństwem przez współczesne społeczeństwo polskie. Uwzględnione badania zostały przeprowadzone na reprezentatywnej próbie dorosłych mieszkańców Polski oraz przedstawicieli wybranej grupy zawodowej. Dokonane wnioskowanie wzbogacone krytyczną analizą literatury przedmiotu pozwoliło określić parametry postrzegania bezpieczeństwa oraz pozycji w hierarchii wartości współczesnego Polaka.
This paper presents an effort of the public institutions analysis that fulfil the state obligations in terms of civic security and safety. The latter is expected to provide citizens an opportunity to construct their private lives spheres according to the individual safety standards. Therefore selected theoretical concepts concerning safety perception have been analysed. Also there are some results of the social research concerning the safety problems presented in the paper. The research was conducted on the representative sample of the adult inhabitants of Poland as well as representatives of the selected professional cohort. Conclusion along with the literature critique allowed to define the parameters of the safety and security perception as well as the place of safety in a value hierarchy of a member of the contemporary Polish society

Artykuł na temat proegzystencji, która dla człowieka współczesnego jest prawdziwym wyzwaniem, podjęte zagadnienie prezentuje omawiając trzy kwestie. Rozpoczyna (1) od ukazania sytuacji człowieka czasów współczesnych. Sytuacji, która niesie ze sobą prawdziwe zagrożenia (niekorzystne zmiany w wartościach i normach moralnych, permisywizm, relatywizm, nihilizm moralny, nieprawidłowe pojęcie wolności, modernizm, postmodernizm, antypedagogika postmodernistyczna, pedagogika o tzw. neutralności światopoglądowej, kryzys kulturowy, głód i nędza w wielu krajach, analfabetyzm, militarna zagłada świata). Następnie, kwestia druga wskazuje na środek zaradczy na wspomniane zagrożenia, jakim jest szacunek do drugiego człowieka jako warunek przywrócenia powszechnego braterstwa w oparciu o Biblię (człowiek „obrazem Boga”) oraz refleksję teologiczną i filozoficzną. W ostatniej części (3) został podany przykład w jaki sposób ludzkość może ponownie wkroczyć na drogę miłości. Uosabia go Jezus Chrystus swoją proegzystencją – swoim życiem nie dla siebie, ale „dla drugich”, dla człowieka − dla jego zbawienia i szczęścia.
This article on pro-existence, which is a real challenge for contemporary man, presents the issue by discussing three points. It begins with (1) showing the situation of contemporary man that brings real threats (unfavorable changes in moral values and norms, permissiveness, relativism, moral nihilism, incorrect concept of freedom, modernism, postmodernism, postmodern anti-pedagogy, pedagogy of so-called ideological neutrality, cultural crisis, hunger and misery in many countries, illiteracy, military extermination of the world). Then, the second point (2) is the remedy for these threats, which is respect for another human being as a condition for the restoration of universal brotherhood based on the Bible (man as the “image of God”) and theological and philosophical reflection. The last point (3) gives an example of how humanity can once again enter the path of love. The example is embodied by Jesus Christ with His pro-existence – living His life not for Himself, but “for others”, for man − for his salvation and happiness.

Civilizational threats considered from ecological, economic and social aspects are the rudimentary reference point for theoretical studies on sustainable development. Manifold concepts and interpretations of the risk issue were converted into proposals for solutions that are primarily reflected in strategic documents on sustainable development and programs related to security. Mutual interactions, or even interpenetration of some threats on other may affect the efficiency of implementing preventive and corrective programs. Consequently, scientists point to the need of adopting more systemic solutions whose implementation requires a specific policy and properly selected tools of its realization. The key initiator and promoter of sustainable development is the United Nations. The objectives and directions of activities indicated by that organization and including prevention of such threats as poverty, hunger and environmental degradation, were proposed in the United Nations Millennium Declaration. The 15 years of implementing the document’s resolutions concluded in the preparation of a report summarizing the project, i.e. The Millennium Development Goals Report 2015. The present paper outlines the issue of threats in the context of international striving for security and reduction of global, primarily social, problems. It provides an evaluation of the ways in which the UN policy is conducted as well as practical realization of this policy, at the example of the Millennium Declaration. The conducted analysis allowed to define the future prospects for the implementation of this policy, especially with respect to preventing social threats.

Zwraca również uwagę na nietrwałość więzi międzyludzkich, wskazując przy tym na bariery utrudniające budowanie dojrzałych relacji interpersonalnych. W konkluzji stwierdza, że dojrzałość i doświadczenie, jako cechy tradycyjnie postrzeganej dorosłości, w dobie współczesnej mogą stanowić przeszkodę w otwartości dorosłych na nowe bodźce i alternatywne sposoby myślenia.
In this article, the author explores the problem of threats of the modern world to the traditionally understood adulthood. He critically analyses employment system and its negative impact on welfare of adults. Interprets selected issues concerning human life in a world full of possibilities, and at the same time uncertainty. He also draws attention to the lability of relationships, indicating at the same time barriers to building mature interpersonal relationships. Finally concludes that the maturity and experience, as a feature of traditionally perceived adulthood, in today could hinder the openness of adults to new stimuli and alternative ways of thinking.

The author of this paper entitled „The Message of Divine Mercy Entrusted to St. Faustina as the Source of Hope for the Contemporary World” have characterised contemporary threats present now in the world. This characterisation has been based on the teaching of two popes, John Paul II and Benedict XVI. Then he determined the principal elements of the message of Divine Mercy, and, eventually, on the basis of St. Faustina's Diary, he characterised the benefits that flow to us when once we receive Divine Mercy through Jesus Christ. When we put, side by side, the fruits of this reception and the threats to the contemporary world, we can clearly see that the message of Divine Mercy may become a source of hope for those who are open to it.

W artykule przedstawiono analizę społecznych przemian zachodzących we współczesnej rodzinie i ich konsekwencje zwracając szczególną uwagę na tradycje, które wpływają na teraźniejszość i budują przyszłość.
The family should be the most important and the safest educational environment, as having a family is essential at every stage of life. The family determines the conditions for the individual's personality development, satisfies important biological and psychological needs, gives a sense of life, inspires to be active, facilitates growing into the world of culture and adapting to the norms and values in it. The following article presents an analysis of selected social changes taking place in the contemporary family and their consequences, paying spe-cial attention to traditions that affect the present and create the future.
