Opis:
One of the ways to ensure safe predictable and efficient operation of electrical devices is to develop a system to supervise and control the electrical installation, where the devices are installed. A structure of such a supervisory control system for a building installation can be of diversified in order to meet expectations and needs of the building owner. Various measuring devices of various manufacturers can be used as a data source with programmable logic controllers (PLC’s) in that number. They make possible to develop flexible intelligent installations that fit operational characteristics of the building structure, where they are developed and devices that operate there. The paper presents a system to supervise operation of an electrical installation that has been implemented in practice. The system takes advantage of operational and IT characteristics of PLC's and presents a research task, which means that it can evolve along with adding new elements to it.

The paper presents the problem of protection of smart houses against electromagnetic disturbances. The technology associated with intelligent buildings was explained in detail. Attention was drawn to possibility of using specific technologies installed in different places. Electromagnetic disturbances that may affect the operation of sensitive electronic of intelligent building were characterized. The spread way of these disturbances and their methods of reduction were described.

The article presents important considerations related to the use of renewable energy installations in modern buildings for various purposes. The essence of the matter is the question of an innovative technical solution for heating installations and preparation of hot water in moderate climate conditions, in order to obtain the effect of the lowest cost of the maintenance and operation of the building in the heating season.

The article presents some safety-related problems of the computer control systems and overall automation. The development of automation and information technology in recent years has forced to develop a number of new technologies and solutions for advanced process control and other technical installations. It seeks for automation of complex technical installations, conceived as means of controlling all subsystems and devices automatically, without human intervention. However, if we consider the economic aspects, the maintenancefree concept is not justified. The partial automation of selected systems is also of interest. This work considers some general aspects of control system design with emphasis on safety aspects. As an example of the protection system, the installation of diesel engine oil lubrication is presented.

The basic fish-breeding and biotechnological and biological indicators of yearlings of scaly carp grown in recirculation installations using forage mixture of natural food objects were researched. It was established that the introduction of natural fodder for feeding carp in controlled conditions positively affect the growth of fish. Using histological studies it was determined that in terms of growing fish in closed water plants, feeding fish with natural feed ingredients have positive effect on the metabolism in the body of the fish.

Rozwoj systemow automatyki budynku i wiążące się z ich zastosowaniem zwiększenie funkcjonalności i komfortu eksploatacji budynku, a także zmniejszenie zużycia energii, skutkuje coraz większym zainteresowaniem inwestorów nowoczesnymi rozwiązaniami, a zwłaszcza systemami inteligentnymi. Jednym z systemów inteligentnych dedykowanych do budynków mieszkalnych oraz użyteczności publicznej jest system Europejskiej Magistrali Instalacyjnej KNX/EIB. Jest to system zdecentralizowany pozwalający, poprzez zmianę oprogramowania, na zmianę funkcji i parametrów urządzeń istniejących w danym budynku, bez konieczności przebudowy instalacji. Projektowanie instalacji i programowanie urządzeń odbywa się za pomocą specjalistycznego programu ETS (EIB Tool Software). W pracy zaprezentowano zasady projektowania inteligentnej instalacji elektrycznej z wykorzystaniem programu ETS. Przedstawiono przykładowy projekt wdrożonej instalacji elektrycznej.
Building systems which give comfort of living and energy consumption decreasing are often implemented now. One of that system is KNX/EIB system dedicated for house and public buildings. KNX/EIB system is a decentralised bus system and does not require a central controller. In case of changing of the instaled devices function in the building only software application modification is necessary. Design process of the electrical installations in KNX/EIB system is performed in ETS (EIB Tools Software). In the paper principles of the KNX/EIB system designing are described. Implemented project of the electrical installation is presented.

Reviving is noticeable in the field of oil and gas production located under the seabed. The off-shore projects are being implemented. Due to this, the risk of accidents at each stage of production should be considered continually. The offshore market, both oil and gas as well as renewable energy, is estimated to increase steadily in the coming years. Therefore, the operations on the production oil field must be suitably protected at every stage of performing work. The paper describes how important Job Safety Analyses are for proper operations. The main aim of the article is to indicate steps and the best way of performing JSA on board of the offshore installation to reduce the risk of emergency. The selected disasters and major accidents indicate that the conducted activity is exposed to the risk of hazards to the natural environment and to people at every stage of the reservoir exploitation. The authors use the analysis of available international reports, the experience gained while working on different types of the offshore vessels and installations as well as in the Polish offshore company.

Opis:
Waste thermal treatment by incineration, co-incineration, gasification or pyrolysis aims at recovering the waste, mainly in the form of energy. In addition, it also serves to disposal of waste, in particular hazardous one, including medical and veterinary waste. Thermal treatment of waste should be carried out in specially adapted installations that meet the BAT requirements. The article discusses installations operating in Poland designed for thermal treatment of municipal solid waste, sewage sludge as well as hazardous waste, including medical and veterinary waste.
Termiczne przekształcenie odpadów poprzez spalanie, współspalanie, zgazowanie czy pirolizę ma na celu ich odzysk, głównie energii. Ponadto służy także unieszkodliwieniu odpadów, w szczególności odpadów niebezpiecznych, w tym odpadów medycznych i weterynaryjnych. Termiczne przekształcanie odpadów powinno być prowadzone w specjalnie do tego przystosowanych instalacjach, spełniających wymagania BAT. W artykule omówiono instalacje funkcjonujące w Polsce dedykowane do termicznego przekształcania odpadów komunalnych, osadów ściekowych, odpadów niebezpiecznych w tym medycznych i weterynaryjnych.

W artykule opisano rozwiązania techniczne współczesnych instalacji stosowanych w budownictwie. Charakterystyka techniczna instalacji w budynkach odnosi się do różnych źródeł wytwarzania ciepła dla potrzeb ogrzewania budynku i przygotowania ciepłej wody użytkowej. W opisie technicznych rozwiązań instalacji przedstawiono również dostępne materiały, jak rury, armatura odcinająca, regulacyjna, zabezpieczająca i kontrolno-pomiarowa, a także pompy cyrkulacyjne. W nawiązaniu do stosowanych materiałów instalacyjnych zaprezentowano potencjalne zagrożenia w eksploatacji instalacji przy braku profesjonalnej obsługi i konserwacji podczas użytkowania budynku.
The article describes the issues of technical solutions to contemporary installations used in modern buildings. Technical characteristics of installation systems refer to various sources of heat for building heating and domestic hot water. Description of the technical installation solutions also presents available materials, such as pipes, shutoff valves, regulatory, safety, control and measurement, as well as circulation pumps. In reference to the applicable installation materials there are presented potential threats in operation of the system in the case of the absence of professional service and maintenance during building exploitation.

W artykule omówione zostały zagadnienia dotyczące recyklingu odpadów pochodzących z okablowania instalacji elektrycznych oraz elementów elektrotechniki samochodowej. Procesy recyklingu rozpatrywane pod kątem logistyki należą do tzw. logistyki zwrotnej i są niezmiernie istotne ze względu na aspekty ochrony środowiska, ekonomiczne i prawne. Opisano zakres zadań związanych z zagospodarowaniem materiałów pochodzących z samochodów wycofanych z eksploatacji a szczególnie okablowania instalacji elektrycznych i elementów elektroniki samochodowej. Logistyka na tym etapie cyklu życia pojazdów jest obszarem najsłabiej zidentyfikowanym, dlatego jest to podstawą do podjęcia badań w tym obszarze działalności gospodarczej kraju.
The article deals with issues related to the recycling of waste from cabling of electrical installations and components of automotive electronics. The recycling processes examined at the logistic angle belong to the so-called “reverse logistics” and are immensely relevant to the environmental, economic and legal aspects. The range of tasks related to management of materials obtained from cars withdrawn out of service, particularly electrical wiring and electronics has been described. Logistics at this stage of the life cycle of cars is a field of least expertise, and this constitutes the basis for conducting research regarding this area of country’s economic activity.

W artykule zwrócono uwagę na zagrożenie pożarem pochodzące od iskrzenia/zwarcia łukowego w instalacji niskiego napięcia. Przedstawiono podstawowe wymagania normy PN-EN 62606 obejmującej swym zakresem urządzenia do detekcji zwarć łukowych (AFDD). Urządzenia te zaczynają pojawiać się w polskich instalacjach elektrycznych, a w niektórych krajach są już obowiązkowym wyposażeniem wybranych obwodów. Omówiono również charakterystyki działania tych urządzeń oraz zalecenia odnośnie do ich stosowania.
Low-voltage electrical installations are equipped with various types of protection devices: fuses, circuit-breakers, residual current devices and surge arresters. These devices, however, may be ineffective in case of some insulation faults, which introduce risk of fire, e.g. due to rodents activity, assembly and construction work, crushing or excessive bending of the wire. This paper presents the most important requirements of PN-EN 62606 standard, dedicated to arc fault detection devices (AFDD). These devices are beginning to appear in Polish low-voltage installations, but in some countries they are already mandatory equipment for selected circuits. The operation and recommendations for application of these devices in electrical installations are also discussed.
