The article presents results of research on the evaluation of important aspects of vocational education conducted among employers and students. The study was conducted to indicate the scope of cooperation between schools and entrepreneurs. It provided a new knowledge concerning the evaluation of vocational education. The first stage of the research was connected with employers’ requirements for graduates and opinions of their qualifications and skills. The second one dealt with the evaluation of vocational training in the opinions of employers and pupils. Finally, the research helped to indicate employers’ and students’ concepts of the development of the system of vocational education.

World marine engineering sector has been developing rather swiftly since recently. Every year the majority of leading shipping companies raise the level of management & maintenance of their vessels. Therefore the requirements to seafarers are increasing constantly. All these circumstances lead to the fact that every next year marine institutions, having limited time for teaching process, meet rising difficulties in seafarer’s proper training. That goes particularly for the special (technical) subjects, which are being taught to future marine engineers and form the level of their proficiency by the time of the graduation.

Zmniejszenie rozbieżności pomiędzy wymaganiami rynku pracy a ofertą szkolnictwa zawodowego wymaga ich diagnozowania i odpowiednich zmian w ofercie kształcenia, dokształcania i doskonalenia zawodowego. Istotne jest zwiększenie zakresu i pogłębienie współpracy między samorządem, urzędami pracy, poradnictwem zawodowym, szkołami zawodowymi, uczelniami technicznymi oraz pracodawcami. Powinny być przy tym uwzględniane potrzeby przedsiębiorców pod kątem kwalifikacji absolwentów oraz oczekiwania i potrzeby szkół.

Koncepcja ustawicznego szkolenia umożliwia osobm zainteresowanym realizację idei aktywnego funkcjonowania na rynku pracy we współczesnej epoce zatrudnienia postindustrialnego.

The article is devoted to organizational and pedagogical aspects of secret vocational education during the Nazi occupation of Poland (1939-1944). It analyses the problems of vocational training in the context of the development of a network of secret education in the country during the whole period of occupation. The most important condition that provides the opportunity for the professionalism of professionals is their competitiveness. The current task of institutions of professional (vocational technical) education (IP(VT)E) is to prepare a qualified and competitive specialist who not only has a certain level of knowledge, skills and abilities but can practically apply them in their professional activities. Future specialists’ training quality is based on the ability to adapt to rapidly changing production conditions. It is due both to the prospect of Ukraine’s accession to the European Union and to the internal situation in the country, where a large number of applicants in IP(VT)E and institutions of professional higher education (IPHE) do not always meet the requirements of the labour market. It requires resetting educational goals and objectives of vocational education, considering global changes in society, production, and technology. This article aims to substantiate the quality management model of training competitive specialists in IP(VT)E, considering the factors affecting the quality of training and contradictions that need to be resolved in the training process and experimental verification of its effectiveness. A set of theoretical and empirical methods was used to create a model and test its effectiveness, identifying the components that have become key in creating a model of quality management training for future competitive professionals in vocational education institutions. To determine the effectiveness, a set of questionnaires was developed, and within the framework of the pedagogical experiment, a section was conducted among entrants, applicants, graduates, pedagogical workers, heads of IP(VT)E regions of Ukraine, and employers, the results were analysed.

The article is an attempt to determine the area of research related to the importance of dual vocational training of adolescents in the process of human capital management in craft enterprises. Craft companies belong to the category of SME’s. People management model in SME’s is different from the popular models of management knowing from large organizations. The subject of my considerations – craft enterprises, are characterized by a characteristic element in the process of managing people – the stage of dual vocational education of adolescent. I make a goal of my work to diagnose significance of dual education of adolescent for HRM in Polish craft companies.

The post modern social processes have somehow destroyed the institutional role of teachers over the past two decades. It is currently necessary to give would-be teachers new, different competencies than the present ones. The tendency to make the teacher education adequate for contemporary needs imposes a number of new tasks on the institutions of teacher education. The self-governmental programme “Modernisation of Vocational Education in the Region of Małopolska”, co-financed with European Union funds, was addressed to secondary vocational schools for youngsters. The objective of the programme was to improve the quality of vocational education and to more effective link it with the needs of the labour market. The programme focused, in the first place, on obtaining additional qualifications through participation in specialist courses that can make the graduates more competitive. NIK has highly apprised the effectiveness and efficiency of the project realisation, and recommended the Ministry of National Education to develop a similar programme to cover the whole country.

Simulation programs in polytechnic (vocational) education have an important didactic function. On the one hand, they are a great example of modern didactic software, on the other hand, knowledge of the simulation software environment by a future graduate of a technical university increases the qualifications of the future employee and allows him to acquire an attractive profession. In the era of high requirements set by employers and competition on the education market, their knowledge seems highly justified. However, whether simulation programs, especially deterministic ones, can also act as teaching aids is not so obvious. In this article, in addition to purely theoretical considerations, will be presented stages of own research on didactic efficiency, or more precisely the impact of this group of software on the cognitive process during learning. More importantly, the didactic effectiveness was tested based on typical pedagogical research as well as by means of electroencephalographic tests using the QEEG method.

We developed, justified and verified methodological foundations for the professional training of specialists in public management of quality and security of socio-cultural forms of education, science and innovation systems of diploma-training of future representatives of the academic sphere, successors of scientific heritage of the trans-boundary level to consolidate the efforts of quality and safety cohesion of acquired and prolonged trajectories of employment and professional development , pleasure insurance according to the needs and requirements of interested and academically worthy and capable categories of applicants for educational and scientific services and consulting and advisory services to build intellectual and emotional capacity of perspective development of transcultural interaction of communicative perception of understanding and consent of diverse categories of society without breaking the biosocial stability equilibrium. We achieved the goals of axiological analysis of conceptual and categorical apparatus with regard to the problem of professional training of future public management specialists on the basis of scientific schools of managerialism in philosophical, psychological and pedagogical and managerial literature; we established the semantics of organization of professional training of future public management specialists for teaching activity ; we justified the structure of professional competence of future public management specialists. We applied a set of methods – axiological analysis, systemic and institutional for semantics of the training management system in higher education institutions and the development of methods for organizing professional training of future public management specialists for teaching activity; method of analogy and probabilistic modeling.
