W rozdziale przedstawiono znaczenie strefy kompletacji w procesie magazynowym oraz dokonano prezentacji dwóch autorskich strategii. Autorzy opracowali strategię symulacyjną oraz zbudowali model magazynu z wykorzystaniem klocków Lego Mindstorms, gdzie zostały odwzorowane wszystkie procesy magazynowe. Do wizualizacji przestrzennej wykorzystano oprogramowanie komputerowe FlexSim. Za pomocą programu stworzono magazyn oraz dokonano symulacji z wykorzystaniem zdefiniowanych parametrów umożliwiających dokonanie wyboru strategii kompletacji.
This chapter presents the importance of the picking zone in the warehouse process and presents two original strategies. The authors developed a simulation strategy and built a warehouse model using Lego Mindstorms, where all warehouse processes were mapped. FlexSim computer software was used for spatial visualisation. The programme was used to create the warehouse and simulate it, using predefined parameters to select a picking strategy.

Forested scree slopes represent one of the types of shallow subterranean habitats characterised by several unique traits, such as close contact with the soil surface, better availability of organic matter, and lower seasonal fluctuations in microclimate. Relatively varied assemblages of gastropods were collected using a series of subterranean traps filled with formaldehyde or ethylene glycol, exposed inside a forested scree slope at depths from 5 to 95 cm in the Natural Nature Reserve Sivec (eastern Slovakia). The number of gastropods was smaller compared to arthropods. The material of 120 specimens consisted of 22 gastropod species representing 15 families. Almost 87% of the specimens were captured near the soil surface (5– 15 cm) and only few of them penetrated deeper. Ethylene glycol was more effective than formaldehyde in collecting gastropods. No subterranean species were found. Forest species predominated over some hygrophilous and petrophilous ones.

Oś opracowania stanowi projekt integracji analogowych i cyfrowych metod pracy w oparciu o powiązanie rozszerzonej rzeczywistości z uproszczoną makietą obiektu architektonicznego przy wykorzystaniu projekcji stereoskopowej w okularach 3D. Samo wdrożenie to jeden z elementów aplikacji edukacyjnej PASYWNE 3D, który w oparciu o realizację architektoniczną przedstawia zasady i technologię budownictwa pasywnego. Zarówno autorskie uczestnictwo w projekcie, jak i wieloletnie doświadczenie w branży AR stanowią podstawę do opisu studium przypadku w kontekście referencyjnych opracowań oraz podstawowych obszarów zastosowania: prezentacji projektu, komunikacji branżowej, opracowań dydaktycznych, a także metody kreacji i ewaluacji koncepcji architektonicznych oraz urbanistycznych. Przedstawione narzędzie jest zatem zarówno próbą poszukiwania optymalizacji kosztów i czasu pracy związanej z makietą jako niezwykle wartościową formą ekspresji architektonicznej, jak również przykładem wprowadzania nowych metod i jakości oferowanych przez techniki komputerowe. Podstawowym założeniem implementacji jest dostosowanie do ogólnodostępnych urządzeń mobilnych poprzez wykorzystanie silnika 3R Studio LTD zintegrowanego z platformą Vuforia w celu umożliwienia powszechnego wykorzystania w architekturze. Praca zakończona jest opisem perspektyw i dalszych kierunków badań.
The aim of the paper is to develop the integration of analog and digital workflow based on the association of augmented reality with a simplified mock-up of an architectural object for the projection on stereoscopic 3D glasses. The implementation is an element of the biggest project of educational application under title PASSIVE 3D, based on the architectural realization, for outline of the principles and technologies of passive houses. Both authors participation in the project, as well as many years of experience in the sector of AR provide a basis for the description of the case study in the context of reference elaborations and core areas of application: presentation, professional communication, didactic implementations, as well as methods of creation and evaluation of architectural and spatial planning concepts. The tool is therefore both an attempt to optimize the cost and time associated with a mockup creation considered as a valuable form of architectural expression, as well as the example of the introduction of emerging methods and qualities offered by computer technology. The basic assumption was the adaptation to the commonly available mobile devices through the usage of 3R Studio LTD engine integrated with the software platform Vuforia for widespread application in the field of architecture. The work is summarized by the description of the prospects and further research goals and directions.

Autorka analizuje austriacki mockdokument Waltera Wippersberga zatytułowany Święto kurczaka (Das Fest des Huhnes) z 1992 r., będący parodią podróżniczych filmów o charakterze antropologicznym i satyrą na Austriaków, ich kulturę oraz zachowania białych w relacjach z „obcymi”. Autorka śledzi m.in. sposoby ewokowania humoru w Święcie kurczaka oraz proces kreowania w mockdokumencie z elementów rzeczywistości nieistniejącego święta związanego z nieistniejącym kultem.
The author points to the mock-documental potential of travel films and evokes examples of manipulation, staging and “pressing” reality into shape in this type of films. She analyses in this context the Austrian mock document by Walter Wippersberg entitled Das Fest des Huhnes (1992), which is a parody of travel films of an anthropological nature and a satire on Austrians and their culture and behaviour of white people in general in their relations with “strangers”. The author follows, among others, the ways of evoking humour in the Chicken Festival and the process of creating in the mock-document a non-existent celebration, associated with a non-existent cult, out of elements of reality.

Opis:
The 'horisontalism' of artistic activity and reflection on art is connected with current life and surrounding reality. Their elements flow into works of art. Artworks are not examined historically (according to the history of a medium, style or individual creative evolution) but as a reaction to the network of object arrangements and functioning discourses that surround artists. Such comprehension of art has made Sztabinski introduce the concept of a 'documental turn'. Moreover, it has been depicted by him that the idea of 'documentation' is getting extended. Therefore, 'transdocumentation' appears. The term allows us to notice the specifics of such contemporary phenomena in which documentation does not only perform an informative function but also gives feedback upon what is documented. It is possible to distinguish many artistic approaches and practices within transdocumentation. One of them is a 'mock-documentary' - an ironic documentation that refers to documentary stereotypes and the audience's trust in the reliability of documents. 'Transdocumentation' as a practice and theoretical scheme, possible when understanding art 'horizontally', reveals a great potential for artistic activities and the critical practice.

Opis:
The effect of epitaxial misorientation on substrates having vicinal surfaces is studied using two simple geometrical models. The misorientations in two epitaxial systems, single layers and superlattices, can be partially explained by means of these models. Furthermore, the fundamentals of a new description tool for orientation relationships of epitaxial systems are outlined briefly, and two examples of application are given.

This article is devoted to the third part of Barbara Hammer’s documentary trilogy, History Lessons. The author analyzes and interprets the form and message of this post-queer essay, with the aim of describing its formula in relation to the mockumentary and found-footage film conventions. She goes back to the pioneer of found footage in the history of world cinema, Esfir Shub, and the position of women in production culture. She refers to Hammer’s debut film, Dyketactics (1974), to describe Hammer’s artistic and political tactic, consisting of intercepting images of women, rooted in visual history, and the subversive quotation of these images against the idea and context of the original. Dyketactics in History Lessons is about quoting archival materials from the genres of documentary, popular science and pornography with the aim of writing the history of the lives of lesbians in the US from the period before the Stonewall riots, where there is very little coverage of the story. The falsifying of archival materials through the editing manipulation of imagery and sound paradoxically uncovers not so much the truth about the lives of lesbians, as what seems to be hidden in images created with a completely different aim than telling the herstory of American women of various orientations and races.

The “Banter Principle” describes cases in which an offensive utterance (for example: DT: “Du Arsch!” or PL: “Ty draniu”) is not addressed by the speaker to the interlocutor with an offensive intention, but it is intended to be an expression of admiration which reinforces the relationship with the Addressee. In addition, use of such language reinforces social ties, i.e. identity and a sense of affiliation to the group. The appropriate reconstruction of the intended meaning (derogatory or supportive meaning, i.e. genuine or mock impoliteness) depends on the conversational setting, on the relation of the speakers, on the mental presuppositions of the interlocutors, and on the mutual acceptance of the communicative means. The use of banter utterances is quite unstable, since they can always switch from a face-enhancing to a face-threatening or aggressive act. The paper presents the results of a pilot studies on phonetic cues of banter utterances in German and Polish.

The modern companies, which are competing on product market, need to use innovative solutions, in order to become potential leaders. One of the modernization methods is rearrangement of organizational structure and redistribution of competence. The article describes the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Department in production plant, which is an innovative initiative in worldwide organizational management. W artykule przedstawiono zastosowanie techniki fotogrametrycznej w ruchu rosyjskiego zakładu górniczego prowadzącego podziemną eksploatacje diamentów. Analizy z wykorzystaniem oprogramowania komputerowego Split Desktop 2.0. przeprowadzono dla dwóch różnych usypów urobku otrzymanych z ostatniej fazy wypuszczanej warstwy kompensacyjnej. W wyniku przeprowadzonych analiz zauważono, że stopniowemu odebraniu urobku towarzyszy zwiększony wychód brył nadgabarytowych oraz frakcji najdrobniejszej.
This paper presents the indirect method of mock pile fragmentation evaluation. The photographic documentation was taken in one of the Russian diamond underground mines. The evaluation of fragmentation of two different mock piles obtained from the last phase of sublevel caving was performed in the Split Desktop 2.0 software. According to the analysis, it can be observed that the amount of oversize block and fines increases with a taken ore.
