    Opis:
    The disclosure of classified information can contribute to causing threat to national security. In order to prevent such situations in the Ministry of National Defense a specialized, full-time organizational units called protection sections have been appointed. Protection sections consists of secret offices which are responsible for recording, storage, circulation, publishing and archiving of classified information. The article also highlights the key threats to classified information, and discusses the organization of secret offices in the Ministry of National Defense. The idea of “instruments of protection” have been presented to ensure the safety for both offices and for the information which is being processed.

    The UK Office for National Statistics (ONS) started measuring subjective well-being in 2011 as part of the ONS Measuring National Well-being programme. The aim of the Measuring National Well-being programme is to measure the quality of life and progress of the UK. This article explores the development of the ONS subjective well-being measures, data collection methods, data presentational considerations, overview of findings, and latest developments. It discusses the way in which user engagement has been key to the development of the ONS subjective well-being statistics.

    Współczesny niezwykle dynamiczny rynek pracy stawia przed młodymi ludźmi wiele wyzwań. Na znaczeniu nabiera doradztwo zawodowe skierowane do tej grupy społecznej, w tym do studentów oraz absolwentów szkół wyższych. Celem niniejszego artykułu jest przedstawienie roli akademickich biur karier w poradnictwie zawodowym dla studentów. W pierwszej części zaprezentowana została sytuacja absolwentów uczelni wyższych na rynku pracy, a także istota oraz zadania realizowane przez biura karier. Natomiast druga część opracowania poświęcona została metodologii oraz wynikom badań własnych, które prezentują opinie studentów na temat sytuacji ludzi młodych na rynku pracy oraz dokonaną przez nich ocenę działalności akademickich biur karier.
    Dynamically evolving contemporary labour market confronts young people with a number of challenges. Career counselling is becoming more and more important for this social group, which also includes students and university graduates. The aim of this article is to present the role of Academic Career Offices in student career counselling. The first part discusses the situation of university graduates on the labour market as well as the role and duties of Career Offices. The second part of the paper is devoted to the research methodology and results of the research, which reveals students' opinions about the situation of young people on the labour market and leads to their evaluation of activities conducted by the Academic Career Offices

    Opis:
    This paper canvasses some of the limitations and possible negative consequences of globalization of criminal procedure. The references to specific examples in this paper assume generally the framework of the legal systems of the European Union and its member states. This, however, is done with the idea in mind that at least some of the remarks made here could be also relevant in a wider international context, when other legal systems are taken into consideration. In the paper, particular attention is paid to possible negative consequences of globalization tendencies. Assuming this perspective was intentional, in order to draw the reader’s attention, references are made to those issues which are especially important from the point of view of legal certainty of an individual but seem to attract less attention in the literature on the subject than general analyses of the phenomenon of synergy of legal systems and the benefits stemming therefrom.

    Opis:
    The main goal of the article is to analyse censorship interventions made in articles raising the topics of the referendum and the election to the Legislative Sejm which were prepared for print in the periodicals of the Polish People’s Party. The material developed by the Main Office of Control of Press, Publications and Shows in Warsaw and by its regional divisions constituted its basic source of information. I conducted a quantitative analysis of the interventions using a sample of the reports of the censorship institution regarding the “Polska Ludowa” periodical. I have also discussed the content removed from print. Within the studied area, censorship most often prevented the PSL periodicals from publishing information regarding the repressions of the PSL’s activists, informing about the organisation of both events and suggesting the fact of forging votes.

    Celem artykułu jest syntetyczne ukazanie istoty budżetu zadaniowego i niesionych z nim idei zarządzania finansami publicznymi, a także dokonanie skróconej analizy tego, co udało się osiągnąć w ostatnich latach w zakresie jego wdrożenia. Dzieje się to w okresie, kiedy budżet zadaniowy na stałe, obok tradycyjnego budżetowania, zagościł w polskich finansach publicznych. Artykuł jest też próbą poszukania odpowiedzi na trzy ważne pytania: – Czym jest i dokąd może doprowadzić nowe, menedżerskie podejście do zarządzania finansami publicznymi? – W czym mogą tkwić słabości przyjmowanych rozwiązań związanych z nowym systemem budżetowania? – W jakich kierunkach należałoby pójść, chcąc dobrze zarządzać środkami publicznymi?
    The purpose of this paper is to synthetically present the essence of task-based budgeting and the notions of public finance management which are associated with it, as well as conducting a summary analysis of what has been achieved in recent years in terms of its implementation. This comes at a time when task-based budgeting, in addition to traditional budgeting, has become part of Poland’s public finances. The article also seeks answers to questions of what the new managerial approach to the management of public finances is and where it may lead; what the inherent weaknesses of the solutions connected with the new budgeting system may be; as well as what direction ought to be taken to ensure a proper management of public funds.

    Opis:
    On the basis of the Polish law of entrepreneurs, a competency dispute arose between the Minister of Digitization and the President of the Office of Personal Data Protection. Both authorities deem it appropriate to interpret GDPR. The Minister of Digitization believes that he is authorized because of the rights to create a policy in the field of personal data protection. The President of the Office for Personal Data Protection believes that he is authorized as a supervisory body according to GDRP and the competent authority for the protection of personal data. Due to the fact that the GDPR is an act of a higher rank than the Polish law, it is necessary to admit to the supervisory body that it is the only person entitled to a binding interpretation of GDPR regulations.
