    Opis:
    Small to medium size enterprises are young and constantly changing their sphere of activities depending on fluctuations of the market. Accounting information systems (AIS) play a key role in providing the financial information for decision making within the enterprises. Advances in accounting information technology over the last several years have moved towards the online accounting. The online accounting system is web based and resides on a web server and anybody in the enterprise can access that accounting system with a simple browser. In the research we investigated the newest trends in AIS models for small to medium enterprises. Scientific works analysis of accounting software showed that their models were analyzed by foreign and Lithuanian scientists. However it is a lack of scientific papers on the newest trends in Lithuania. So that as methodology of this research was scientific works and comments of a number of reviewers. Many of them were sourced from the internet. Our survey of the newest trends in AIS models indicates advantages and dangers of AIS application within the business processes. Investigation of accounting software for Lithuanian small and medium enterprises was a part of the research. We have summarized only main accounting systems opportunities.

    Organizacja inteligentna, to organizacja opierająca się na zarządzaniu wiedzą w ramach społeczeństwa informacyjnego. Celem artykułu jest ukazanie uwarunkowań informatycznego wspomagania organizacji inteligentnych na przykładzie polskiego sektora MSP. Po scharakteryzowaniu organizacji inteligentnej odniesiono się do zaawansowanych rozwiązań ICT w sektorze MSP (ze szczególnym uwzględnieniem modelu przetwarzania w „chmurze” – cloud computing) i wskazano oczekiwane tendencje rozwojowe w tym zakresie.
    Organizations are changing, or are capable of changing profoundly in the information society. Smart organizations have the abilities: to adapt to changing situations, to influence and shape their environment if necessary, to find a new milieu or reconfigure the business processes. Increasing requirements for extended enterprises have stimulated the integration of the knowledge management function into ICT-systems for knowledge asset management. This paper discusses how to deploy advanced ICT-solutions in the framework of enterprise information systems in smart organizations.

    Opis:
    Many issues need to be considered and tackled before moving data into the cloud. Adoption of cloud computing raises concerns and questions in particular with respect to security, control and privacy in cloud computing environment. Users should be aware where their data will be stored and what law governs. In a case where personal data are to be processed it is important for the contracting parties to ensure that requirements and obligations placed on them pursuant to the EU data protection laws will be fulfilled. This article also includes an overview of typical terms and conditions of cloud computing contracts, stressing that most of contractual arrangements in current practice fall short of achieving a fair balance of rights and obligations arising under the contract between cloud providers and users. The aim of this study is to indicate regulations and guidelines which are applicable to cloud computing contracts as well as initiatives undertaken at the EU level and their role in building legal certainty and trust to cloud computing technology.
