French journals - Opis:
- My dissertation is titled “The image of the European Union as an organization in times of a crisis in the French journals in 2013-2015”. The first chapter is titled “The role of the media in France in creating the national and European identity”. It will characterize the main journals in France (“Le Figaro”, “Le Monde”, “France-Soir”) and their readers. In the second chapter, the content analysis of those journals will be undertaken to show the roles of French media, while the third chapter will present the expected functions of media. In this chapter, I will use the method of in-depth interviews, taking into consideration journalists and politicians representing different political views, social movements, trade unions and citizens. In conclusion, I will analyse the French public opinion’s views, representing various social groups, on specific media messages.
