The article reviews the recent introduction of Google’s Fact Check Tool available in the Google News section. The tool is focused on the examination of articles that claim to be correct by checking the facts stated in the articles, based on an algorithmic process in cooperation with review systems. The Fact Check Tool is currently in beta version, accessible on certain websites in the United States and the United Kingdom. The algorithmic process is not yet final and requires improvements in order to state an objective approach towards the reviewing of articles without human affecting the checking.

Philosophical thinking has no fixed location. It is constructed of tensions between different areas of culture: science, art, religion, politics, education. Therefore, in this article the philosophical pedagogy has been presented as a point of view, not a discipline with clear boundaries. The source of this perspective is the Socratic tradition, especially two of its motifs: thinking without limits and the search of the real problems. Philosophical thinking protects a background of education from becoming an ideology. It is also an effort devoted to broadening the expressivity of the sphere of education. So, we can say that philosophical pedagogy is a dynamite that disrupts some educational dreams (illusions) and simultaneously sets in motion other dreams (symbols, values).

Celem artykułu jest analiza jakościowa systemu wsparcia innowacyjnej przedsiębiorczości opartego na Krajowej Sieci Innowacji oferującej usługi proinnowacyjne dla małych i średnich przedsiębiorstw w Polsce. Formułowane wnioski oparte są na wynikach ogólnopolskich badań przeprowadzonych przez autora wśród firm sektora MŚP, będących zarówno beneficjentami usług KSI (ogółem zbadano 381 podmiotów), jak i firm niekorzystających wcześniej z tych usług (próba badawcza liczyła 1100 podmiotów). Podstawowe zastrzeżenia zgłaszane przez małych i średnich przedsiębiorców dotyczą pasywności tych ośrodków w budowaniu partnerskiej współpracy, zdolności do rozpoznania rzeczywistych potrzeb przedsiębiorstwa oraz umiejętności dostosowania oferty usług w odpowiedzi na rzeczywiste potrzeby przedsiębiorstw. W artykule zawarto rekomendacje zmian w systemie świadczenia usług proinnowacyjnych w ramach wsparcia publicznego oferowanego przez ośrodki Krajowej Sieci Innowacji w odniesieniu do „filozofii”, zakresu i instrumentów wsparcia.

Attachment styles have been analysed in the context of development and functioning of children for decades. It seems interesting to analyse the attachment styles also in the context of adult life and psychological well-being. The article presents own research concerning the relationship between the attachment styles and mental health among young adults. There were 96 participants, 60 females and 36 males. The Attachment Styles Questionnaire, the General Health Questionnaire (GHO-28), and an authorial survey were used. A statistical analysis showed a positive correlation between anxiousambivalent attachment style and somatic symptoms, unrest, depression symptoms, and avoidant behaviours. A secure attachment style correlated negatively with depression symptoms.

Opis:
Democratization of social life in Poland after political transformation of 1989 meant that people with disabilities, including the deaf began to participate in social life actively and demand the ability to use full rights of citizenship. Active presence in the public space requires a constant, uninterrupted communication. In order to improve communication it is necessary to teach the hearing ways to communicate they use to encourage the deaf and the hearing to acquire these skills. First of all, the so-called linguistic-sign system (SJM), which uses visual-spatial channel to communicate, is used for communication. Polish Sign Language (PJM) became an innovation in search for better communication between the hearing and the deaf since the first years of the 21st century. Dissemination of the Polish Sign Language (PJM) and teaching this language to the hearing gives more opportunities to communicate the deaf with the hearing. Skills of using Polish sign language are essential in everyday public life interactions in institutions of public administration and health services or places of culture.

Legal Professional Privilege is a material procedural safeguard that ensures protection of communication between undertaking and its legal counsel in the competition law. It is essential to differentiate the rules governing European and Polish antitrust proceedings in order to guarantee undertakings the widest possible protection against the search of premises. In each case when the primary aim of administrative regulations is to penalize the entrepreneurs for illegal conduct, it should be assured that at least similar safeguards to these adopted in criminal proceedings are secured.

The article deals with the issue of EU political system seen as a set of institutional and legal mechanisms and solutions looking for a way to lead and maintain its internal balance. This problem is included in line with the assumptions of the resilience concept, which is a fundamental theoretical assumption at work. Resilience, or flexibility, the ability to adapt and “bounce off the bottom”, to recuperate, is referred to the EU as a prospect of a research perspective indicating the paths of thinking about the regularity of the development of the EU system in the long term. Recourse to such a framework is implied in the EU by the nature of the integration structure and the political system whose creation was initiated in 1957 with the establishment of the EEC. Analysis carried out in the article leads to conclusion that the EU political system is characterised by resilience- -specific properties, which makes it flexible in responding to emerging difficulties and tensions. At the same time, the solutions and mechanisms implemented on this basis lead to the deepening of differences. Achieving a system balance becomes difficult.

At first glance, Jon Turteltaub’s movie entitled The Sorcerer’s Apprentice (2010) seems to have no connections whatsoever with Greco-Roman antiquity. To find any hidden connections, we have to go back to 1797, when Johann Wolfgang Goethe published his famous ballad Der Zauberlehrling. Almost a century later, this work has inspired French composer Paul Dukas to write his masterpiece, the symphonic scherzo L’apprenti sorcier. Dukas’ music became the leitmotif of two Walt Disney movies: Fantasia (1940) and Fantasia 2000 (1999). This is where we trace the ancient roots of the Sorcerer’s Apprentice story. In 1789, a good friend of Goethe, Christopher Martin Wieland, is reported to have published the first German translation of Lucian of Samosata’s (120-180 AD) complete works, including a dialogue entitled Philopseudes (The Lover of Lies). The tenth story told in Philopseudes turned out to be very similar to the one written by Goethe and then adapted into Disney’s and Turteltaub’s movies. In my paper I try to show the transmission of the Lucianic text from antiquity to the modern film adaptations. The original Lucian’s tale, rewritten by Goethe, has proven very influential and prolific. The so-called “sorcerer’s apprentice syndrome” can be found at the root of many fantastic stories in which a human being could not control his creation (i.e. a robot) which eventually would turn against its maker. The main focus in this paper is on the evolution of the young apprentice’s story and its cinematographic life.

In 1964, Bogdan Nawroczyński published the article “Szukajmy człowieka” [“Let’s Look for the Human”] in “Kwartalnik Pedagogiczny” [“The Pedagogical Quarterly”]. Once again, he tried to address the issue of the effectiveness of educational impact. After referring to several scientific findings, Nawroczyński comes to the conclusion that the most important educational method is an attractive example of a mature personal pattern. The issues of this presentation conform with the methodological concept of B. Nawroczyński. Its aim is to show the spiritual profile of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in the category of a personal pattern. The main problem of the presentation is the question what is the pedagogical relevance of Dietrich Bonhoeff er’s spiritual profile. The main source literature is based on Dietrich Bonhoeffer’s letters from the Tegel prison, i.e. from 14th April 1943 to 26th April 1944. Conclusions contain possible traits of mature personality.
W 1964 roku Bogdan Nawroczyński opublikował w „Kwartalniku Pedagogicznym” artykuł pt. „Szukajmy człowieka”. Po raz kolejny, na nowo starał się w nim podjąć kwestię skuteczności oddziaływań wychowawczych. Po szeregu przywoływanych stanowisk naukowych Nawroczyński dochodzi do wniosku, że najważniejszą metodą wychowawczą jest pociągający przykład dojrzałego wzoru osobowego. Problematyka tego wystąpienia wpisuje się w koncepcję metodologiczną B. Nawroczyńskiego. Chodzi w nim o przedstawienie sylwetki duchowej Dietricha Bonhoeffera w kategorii wzoru osobowego. Podstawowym problemem wystąpienia jest pytanie o to, jaka jest pedagogiczna aktualność sylwetki duchowej Dietricha Bonhoeffera. Główną literaturą źródłową będą listy Dietricha Bonhoeffera z więzienia w Tegel, tj. od 14.04.1943 do 26.04.1944. Wnioski będą próbą ukazania wartościowych cech dojrzałej osobowości.

The paper is of investigative character for elaborating cooperation standards between museums and educational institutions. It aims at presenting and interpreting the results of the Museum’s own research of the Face Culture Project implemented in 2017–2019 at the National Museum in Cracow. The analysis of the factors favouring and impeding cooperation of museum and school has become the basis for a wider generalization and shaping models of museum and school learning in which the following elements have been distinguished: goals, subjects, objects, means, methods, conditions, and results. These elements have been presented from the perspective of both museum and school. The paper may prove of interest to school teachers and museum educators cooperating with schools, as well as to theoreticians of museology and of museum pedagogy, the latter developing as a subdiscipline of pedagogy.
