Opis:: Processes of children’s in the family are partly related to the quality of their parents’ marriage, which is influenced by various factors. Different factors have significant influence on marital quality. In particular, the link between personal characteristics of spouses (e.g. personality traits, attitudes, and values) and marital satisfaction has received much attention. However, there have been few studies concerning partners’ personal resources. The current research examined the effect of self-efficacy and resiliency on marital satisfaction among women. The study has covered 239 married women. Three questionnaires were used: the Wellmatched Marriage Questionnaire (KDM-2; Plopa, 2008), the Resiliency Assessment Scale (SPP-25, Ogińska-Bulik, Juczyński, 2008), and the Generalized Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES, Polish adaptation, Juczyński, 2001). Correlation and regression analyses were performed in this study. Both general self-efficacy and resiliency proved to be positively associated with marital satisfaction in general terms. Self-efficacy also correlated positively with intimacy and similarity, while resiliency correlated positively with all favorable dimensions of marital relation, and negatively with disappointment. Regression analyses showed that one aspect of resiliency – openness to experience and sense of humour – was a significant positive predictor of marital satisfaction.

Opis:: The origins of the term ‘empathy’ go back to the beginning of the 20th century, when the foundation of analyses of the phenomenon were philosophical (phenomenological) deliberations on the issue of getting to know mental states of other people. The first psychologist to draw on achievements of phenomenologists and to use the term Die Einfühlung was Theodor Lipps (Lipps 1897). In the Anglo-Saxon literature the term was translated as ‘empathy’, sharing another person’s emotions. In our times, in pedagogy and psychotherapy, significant findings on empathy were made by Carl Rogers (1975), a personality psychologist. The article presents fragments of selected Edith Stein’s letters and statements that prove her interest in the issue of empathy both in her academic as well as personal life.

Opis:: Der Aufsatz präsentiert Voraussetzungen und innenpolitische Umstände der Entstehung der Bundesrepublik Deutschland, unter dem Gesichtspunkt west-deutscher politischer Elite in den Jahren 1948–1949. An Hand wesentlicher Fra-gen, die mit der Gründung eines deutschen Teilstaates verbunden waren, wurden ideologische und politische Stellungen deutscher Politiker und Parteien gezeigt, die in dieser Zeit eine Hauptrolle bei der Entstehung westdeutscher Demokratie gespielt hatten. Es wurden solche Probleme berührt, wie Form der westdeutschen Verfassung (BRD als ein Provisorium), Verhältnis zwischen der Legislative und Exekutive, konstruktives Misstrauensvotum, Stelle der Religion und der Kirchen in der Staatsordnung. Obwohl die damals, in heftigen Debatten und Auseinandersetzungen gearbeiteten Entscheidungen nur als vorläufige Lösung gedacht waren, wurden sie Grundlagen für die nächsten fünfzig Jahren der Bon-ner Republik.

Opis:: Artykuł porusza najważniejsze zagadnienia związane z problematyką stosowania przymusu bezpośredniego w szpitalach psychiatrycznych. Opracowanie przedstawia sytuacje, w których dozwolone jest wszczęcie trybu przymusowego postępowania medycznego wobec osób stwarzających zagrożenie dla życia lub zdrowia własnego, najbliższego otoczenia bądź bezpieczeństwa powszechnego, wbrew ich woli. Gwarancję realizacji zasad poszanowania praw i wolności jednostki stanowią przepisy ustawy o ochronie zdrowia psychicznego dotyczące stosowania w granicach konieczności środków przymusu bezpośredniego.
This paper discusses major issues related to the application of coercive measures in psychiatric hospitals. The situations are presented when a physician is authorized to initiate compulsory medical procedure against persons posing threat for their own life or health, their immediate surroundings or common security - against their own will. Provisions of the Mental Health Act regarding the application of direct coercive measures within the limits of necessity are vital guarantee of respecting the rights and freedoms of an individual.

Opis:: The article tackles the activities undertaken and commissioned by the National Institute for Museums and Public Collections (NIMOZ) with regard to defining the audience for museums’ online offer, and analysing their needs. In connection with the preparation of "E-museums – sharing museums’ collections", the national strategic project in the field of digitising and sharing the resources of museums, research on defining the needs of the museums’ audience was carried out, for the first time on such a large scale. The work included verifying literature, analysing the audience for online cultural offers, and individual workshops. Many activities used the service design methodology, since some of the effects of the project are services. In accordance with its founding principles, it is particularly important to recognise future users’ needs in order to prepare a solution which is both user-friendly and meets their expectations. The results of these activities will also be used by other cultural institutions in order to deepen their knowledge about their audience, and to provide new services or products.
Artykuł przedstawia działania podjęte i zlecone przez Narodowy Instytut Muzealnictwa i Ochrony Zbiorów (NIMOZ) w zakresie zdefiniowania odbiorców internetowej oferty muzeów oraz rozpoznania ich potrzeb. W związku z przygotowywaniem ogólnopolskiego, strategicznego projektu z zakresu digitalizacji i udostępniania zasobów muzeów „e-muzea – udostępnianie zbiorów muzeów” przeprowadzono po raz pierwszy – na tak dużą skalę – badania nad zdefiniowaniem potrzeb odbiorców oferty muzealnej. Prace obejmowały zarówno weryfikację literatury, badanie odbiorców internetowej oferty kultury, jak i indywidualne warsztaty. W wielu działaniach wykorzystano metodologię projektowania usług (service design), ponieważ niektóre z efektów projektu są usługami. Zgodnie z jej założeniami rozpoznanie potrzeb przyszłych użytkowników usługi jest szczególnie ważne, aby móc stworzyć rozwiązanie, które jest im przyjazne i odpowiada na ich oczekiwania. Wyniki podjętych działań mogą być wykorzystane także przez inne instytucje kultury do pogłębienia znajomości odbiorców i do stworzenia nowych usług lub produktów.
