Opis:
The article is a scientific attempt to understand and present to the contemporary recipient the artistic dimension of war and its reflection in the cultural consciousness of the society of the twenty-first century. The author appeals to the literary diary titled Zhyttia P.S. (The Life P.S.), written by a soldier participating in the Russian-Ukrainian war in Donbas. Certain features of the work provide evidence that it is a hybrid war. For Ukrainians, it is a war for real memory. Most attention in the researching of the literary reception of this traumatic event is paid to three fundamental signs. The first one is the gender peculiarity – the story is told by a woman who fought at the front and lost there her beloved person, who was killed by the enemy. The second peculiarity is the feature of writing therapy, when writing the diary opened the possibility of release from the experienced trauma. And the third one is the genre of diary, which is a memoir and at the same time an artistic reflection of the image of war.

The article deals with hybrid word-building which is closely connected with lexical borrowings in the vocabulary of the Ukrainian language. The reasons for such new hybrid formations are defined. The main reasons among them are interconnections between the borrowed and own word-building resources, and the growing agglutinative tendencies in modern word-building in Ukrainian, which actually make possible the combination of elements from different languages in the new derivatives. The usage of the borrowed words, stems, and formants in Ukrainian word-building of the 1970s to the first decade of the 21st century is characterized. The peculiarities of the usage of the terms “hybrid”, “hybrid word”, “hybridization” in Ukrainian, Russian and English linguistics are clarified. The tendency for growing hybrid formation in the Ukrainian language is denoted. The types of the new hybrid derivatives are clarified.

The combination of military and non-military means of power struggle in interstate relations faced in recent years by countries such as Georgia, Moldova, Syria, Ukraine, Montenegro and others can not be considered entirely new phenomenon in world history, but with the development of information technology and the globalization of the financial and economic system has brought new opportunities for the use of economic, informational, political and military means of pressure. Positively evaluating the achievements of Ukrainian researchers in disclosing the institutional and procedural principles of the state system functioning and political provision of national security of Ukraine, it should be pointed out that the problem of conceptualization and response to internal political risks for its national security remains unresolved in the context of the continuation of wide-ranging implementation by Russia of theoretical and methodological and applied aspects. Hybrid war combined forces and means, including in the political sphere of Ukrainian society. Some aspects of this problem were presented by the author in Polish scientific publications. The work hypothesis found that the degree and nature of the destructive influence of individual events, phenomena and processes in the domestic political sphere, the economy, the social sphere, information activities, the fight against organized crime and corruption in Ukraine are not only conditioned by the corresponding undisguised intervention of the aggressor country, but also have an intra-Ukrainian nature, caused by the implementation of the latent interests of prominent representatives of the post-war political ruling class in Ukraine (Petro Poroshenko Bloc / People’s Front A. Yatsenyuk, A. Avakov and O. Turchinov / «Vinnytsia» group of Prime Minister of Ukraine V. Groysman). The main components of Ukraine’s internal security at the present stage in confronting the hybrid aggression of the Russian Federation are considered: the system of ensuring political security and its subjects, internal political and interconfessional stability, public accord, civil society and political power, political regime and political security, state security, political elites and leaders, political movements, state-church relations, religious organizations, constitutional order, territorial integrity of Ukraine. It is necessary to take into account the fact that the special organs and advocacy machine of the aggressor country in the process of information war against Ukraine attaches the highest priority to the demoralization and disintegration of Ukrainian society and discretisation of the security and defense sector. Russian propaganda for destabilizing the situation in Ukraine is actively used by the growth of negative attitudes among Ukrainian citizens. An important problem that has emerged since the onset of hybrid aggression against Ukraine is the activity of Russian agents of influence in the parliament, political parties, local authorities and civic organizations. The simulated nature of the overwhelming majority of institutional and procedural components of the reform of the social life of the Ukrainian state while simultaneously marginalizing social protest actions in the short term create the illusion of social stability of the new / old dominant political and business groups as a collective embodiment of kleptocracy, clientism and corruption. hybrid political regime in post-war Ukraine. The ruling from 2014, based on client-patronage ties and faith through informal political practices, the consolidated power groups of the Bloc of Petro Poroshenko and the People’s Front are not able to overcome the crisis of confidence in power as an integral institutional and procedural system. They explain the growing internal protest potential of the Kremlin’s influence. The potential of the ruling political class of Ukraine is also aggravated by the fact that in its hands the most powerful material resources, administrative and technical-organizational means, funds, sources and means of information transmission, ideological and legal mechanisms, etc., are concentrated. The specifics of the ruling political class of Ukraine are manifested in the implementation of strategies for self-enrichment, which obviously leads to neglect of public interests and uncontrolled and permissiveness. Taking into account the growing scope of domestic political risk potential of national security in the projection of the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2019, a process of political consolidation of the most active part of Ukrainian citizens around common values and interests, overcoming of existing political contradictions and achieving socially acceptable standards of living may be worthy of scientific analysis, consequently, ensuring the security of the individual, society and the state, preserving its independence, territorial integrity, sovereignty and file progressive development of Ukraine.

Article is devoted to studying of specifics of the military-political conflict in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The analysis is based on idea of what the classical theory of a political conflict is extremely limited approaches studying of all brinks of a political conflict. Leaving linearity and staging of political process (a phase of tension, instability, a contradiction and collision), the modern political conflict on the example of the East of Ukraine can have some unusual aspects. First of all it is informal support and the help from other state, this imposing by method of blackmail by one of participants of the conflict of own benefits in exchange for the terminations of open collisions. The conflict problem in the East of Ukraine has peculiar, poorly studied line: modeling and development of the conflict by intelligence agencies of other state. The political conflict in the East of Ukraine has no latent phase as in it is mute lines unusual for the classical conflicts are mixed: intervention of other state, informal military support of one of participants of the conflict, promotion of concrete ultimatums to authorities by the indirect participant of the conflict, mixing of electoral and political technologies (radicalism of electorate on the basis of political myths). In it is a high time in the analysis of the conflict in the East of Ukraine many experts too specifics of the organization of the political power in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions don’t join. It is first of all about the interested financial and industrial groups which in the activity have carried out synthesis of complete control over financial and economic activity of the region before direct influence on the electoral choice of his population. In view of orientation of economic contacts and mental orientations towards Russia, the political elite of the East of Ukraine in the investigation of disagreement with the movement of «Euromaidan» has appeared in a desperate situation: she has ceased to have authority among the population; wishing to keep the economic capitals, the elite as a result has lost control over a situation; and in she is a high time too I have reached oppositional position to the new power. The specified factors in the sum have led to opening of mental space for handling technologies from interested parties. Without wishing to lose from the geopolitical field Ukraine, the hybrid political conflict has also been introduced. Complexity of his studying consists in an absence factor in him two key factors: first of all latent phase and mechanism of his full permission. Instead the multistage mechanism of his suppression, but not permission is offered by politicians and scientists. The essence consists in the fact that according to «game theory» the scenario «the world in war on the terms of the winner» is offered. At the same time winners both Ukraine, and Russia equally want to see themselves. In practice it leads to the fact that any technology of permission of a political conflict in the form of negotiation process, a mediator, involvement of the third party won’t have qualitative effect. A paradox of a situation is that the parties don’t wish to go on compromises. Each of the parties by method of tightening of time expects when the second party is forced to offer a string of concessions and weakening of tension. In this context the research is also devoted to studying of the specified technologies from outside of both foreign, and domestic scientific developments.

The topic of research may be considered relevant in the theoretical-methodological, political and applied aspects to summarize the preparation and course of deployed Russian Federation «hybrid war» against Ukraine with the elaboration of the proposals to minimize the destructive impact of manipulative propaganda. The main varieties of information security are information security of person, information security of society and information security of state. Information security is directly related to the sovereign right of state which arises from the principles of information sovereignty as an important component of state sovereignty. Destructive information and psychological impact often seen in the context of threats to information security. The deployment of information and psychological war is directed to cause significant information security damage not only to state or society, but the individual in the realities of the late twentieth - first quarter of the XXI century. When the concept of information-psychological war is disclosured we must proceed from the fact that it includes elements of information war as form of information confrontation between different actors (states, NGOs, economic or other structures), which provides a set of measures on damage of information sphere of opposing side and protecting their own information security and the war psychological as a combination of different forms, methods and means of influencing the person to change in the desired direction psychological characteristics (beliefs, thoughts, values, feelings, attitudes, motivations, behaviors stereotypes) and group norms, mass sentiment, social consciousness in general and when psychological impact acts in such basic kinds as information-psychological, psychogenic, psychoanalytic, NLP, psychotronic, psychotropic. In this context, in our opinion, we should talk about the information-psychological war as a form of information and communication confrontation for the redistribution of roles, locations and functions of information and communication space to achieve advantages in the political, social, economic, cultural, and religious and other areas. Manipulative technologies of information and communication influence - is a set of methods, processes and means of information and communication impact integrated with the purpose of concealed excitement in the other person’s intentions that do not coincide with its real desires. Propaganda technologies of information and communication influence - is a set of methods, processes and means of information and communication effects, integrated with a view to adoption in the mass consciousness of systematic judgments that reflect the outlook person and society as a whole. Annexation by the Russian Federation sovereign territory of Ukraine - the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol and armed invasion to preserve and expand the areas of terrorist organizations «Donetsk People’s Republic» and «Luhansk People’s Republic» convincingly demonstrated the ineffectiveness of the functioning of Ukraine’s previous model in general and system to counter threats to information security of the state, society and person, in particular. At the same time, the flow of the hybrid war can not depend on the political situation in Ukraine. For two years, which came on time from the victory of the Revolution of Dignity, annexation by the Russian Federation of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol City with the full inaction of the then (largely, because of the personalities, even now) Ukraine’s leadership and opposition of information and psychological and armed intervention of Russia to preserve and expand the influence of terrorist organizations «Donetsk People’s Republic» and «Luhansk People’s Republic» radical renewal require institutional and procedural foundations of the political system, ensuring the stability of its functioning in the Russian Federation deployed a hybrid war in general and combating destructive inner-manipulative propaganda influences in particular.

How to Represent War. The hybrid warfare going on in Donbass has had consequences on the informational and cultural spheres in Ukraine. It is a war for influence where Ukraine cannot adequately confront Russia because it does not have the necessary recourses and a developed media culture. The number of literary works about the war published in the last few years show that Ukrainian writers want to challenge the discourse on war. Between 2014 and 2016 numerous novels, stories, essays, reports, and poems were published by such writers as Halyna Vdovychenko, Yevhen Polozhiy, Sergei Lozko, and Vladyslav Ivchenko. These authors try to show all the horror of the war and the changing attitudes and consciousness of Ukrainians. The issue of forming a new Ukrainian collective identity is reflected in contemporary literature.

Opis:
The aggression of the Russian Federation to Ukraine, which began in 2014 with the annexation of the Crimea, and then continued in a hybrid war in Donbas, in modern terms means a threat to the whole European security system that has witnessed the tragedy of Malaysian «Boeing» July 17, 2014, Russia’s attempts to retain power anti-people regime of B. al-Assad in Syria, and the constant provocative actions and statements of top government officials aggressor. Under these conditions the European security system, along with Ukraine under current conditions fell to be tested for strength. Because of the departure of the requirements of international law, rules and standards of democratic behavior on the international arena, the response of the European Union and Ukraine cannot be symmetrical and requires the use of operational and non-standard asymmetric strategy. Asymmetric strategy means constant, active pressure on the system «vulnerabilities» of the enemy, the ability to organize their activities and think a great opponent so as to maximize their advantages and use its vulnerabilities, capture initiative or providing space for maneuvering. The defense strategy that Ukraine has to use, designed to minimize the negative effects on the actions of a dangerous rival that has a significant advantage in power and uses its dominant position. Strategy asymmetric nature of the Europe means above all sanctions against the aggressor through which the European Union lifted its own authority. Induced sanctions issues gradually form the internal opposition to Putin’s regime in Russia itself. The important role in asymmetric strategy plays studying the risks to Europe’s hybrid policy. These risks include: the provocative policy of in some European countries; activity funds, cultural associations, think tanks, pro-European orientation, which includes actions aimed at preventing enlargement of the European Union, or even to its collapse; systemic support from the far-right and ultra-Russian political parties and movements (this applies primarily to France, Italy, Hungary). Equally important is the expansion of diplomatic means opposition to Russian aggression, including large-scale informing the world community about events in Ukraine and strategic partnership in the military-political sphere (USA, Poland, Baltic countries). Asymmetric steps Ukraine is most clearly manifested in the creation of a new National Security Strategy of Ukraine. In the context of the national strategy for Ukraine challenges are: the external dimension - the depletion of enemy involvement and promotion of international assistance, activation policy of partnership with NATO; in domestic terms - to achieve a situation of domination own political liberty in troubled regions, effective implementation of internal reforms, building a modern public administration system in compliance with democratic principles, human rights and freedoms, support for small and medium businesses, the fight against corruption, attracting foreign investment. Confronting the destructive influence of a powerful enemy should include: outreach to the population of the occupied territories; defamation of illegal armed formations; linguistic use of arms, especially language factor; the formation of moral and psychological stability of society to sabotage and terrorist acts. Information expansion neighboring state encourages Ukraine to develop effective ways of intensive use of media as a powerful resource in terms of opposition to aggression. So, in the short term asymmetric strategy of Ukraine and the European Union must be defensive, that is to minimize the negative effects on the actions of an opponent who has a significant advantage in military capability and imposes its will and interests. But already in the medium term asymmetric strategy should take the offensive character and return channel in international relations democratic order and European security, which includes: the inviolability of borders, building an effective energy security, preventing the use of force in resolving political problems; overcoming latent threats which include terrorism, transnational organized crime, illegal migration, cyber-attacks, separatism, global climate change, proliferation of weapons of mass destruction and their means of delivery.

This paper examines the changes within the political regime and the state two years after the revolutionary changes of government. There are three questions in focus: whether the regime has changed, whether there has been a renewal of elites and what are the prospects of slipping out of the institutional trap, where Ukraine had fallen in the mid 90's. The analysis shows that the institutional core of the regime has hardly changed, meaning that the regime remains hybrid. Despite greater than in 2004 quantitative renewal of elites, qualitative change has not occurred again. Preserving informal institutional core of the regime and the lack of a genuine elite renewal are the two critical factors that impede the Ukraine’s movement towards sustainable development. One strategy to help Ukraine to start moving forward would be a closer institutional "binding" of Ukraine to the Western institutions and structures.

Opis:
The aim of the study is to reveal the content of the phenomenon of “memory war” as a factor in the formation of memory policy in Ukraine in the period from 2014. The research methodology is interdisciplinary, combining methods of historical, political, sociological and legal sciences. The main results of the research: the content of the concept of “memory policy” is revealed, the structure of memory policy in modern Ukraine is determined. It is proved that historical memory is a key element of the whole identification system and due to the fact that historical memory is a highly politicized segment of public consciousness, it can quickly become a factor of social tension and civil confrontation, become a source of national disintegration. This is facilitated by the multiplicity (polarity) of historical memory, so the conceptual basis of memory policy should be the desire to achieve the integrity (monolithic) of the nation’s memory, to overcome polarity and controversy in assessments of the historical past. It was stressed that a certain consensus can be reached on a nationwide historical grand narrative in Ukraine if the objective existence of the Ukrainian nation and the existence of Ukraine as an independent and sovereign state are recognized. The practical significance of the achieved results is due to the fact that in the conditions of the hybrid war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine the state policy of memory is called to promote formation of monolithic historical memory, search of optimum balance of historical plots which would, on the one hand, prevent erosion of ethnocultural basis of historical memory, and on the other – would contribute to the awareness of national history as a permanent process of interaction and interdependence of different cultures. The originality of the study lies in the fact that the influence of historical policy on the course of the hybrid war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is revealed.
