    Opis:
    Outside their own territories, the Eastern Catholic Churches adopt a variety of pastoral structures, such as eparchies or exarchates. Moreover, there are also parishes that bring together the followers of various Eastern Churches which donot reside within the given territory. The priests of Eastern Churches who exercisepastoral care over the followers, oftentimes participate and serve in the structures of the Latin Church as well. In order to be able to do so, they must have beengranted bi-ritual faculties from Rome, the Holy See.

    The paper aims at the presentation of the current situation of Afrobolivians, one of the Afro Latin American communities that are nearly unknown to the general public and the academia. The author tries to explain main reasons of Afrobolivians’ long lasting invisibility. Discussing the present day claims of the group she refers to the strategy of folklorization of its image (through the tradition of afrobo-livian dance called saya) and to the particular importance of the ―politics of place‖ in the context of Bolivian Yungas region.
    El texto presenta la situación actual de los afrobolivianos, uno de los grupos afrolatinoamericanos menos conocidos y menos estudiados. La autora pre-tende explicar las razones de su invisibilidad en la sociedad boliviana. Refiriéndose a las reivindicaciones culturales y políticas del grupo en el siglo XXI presta la atención particular a la estrategia de su visibilización mediante el uso del folklore (la tradición de la saya afroboliviana) y al papel peculiar de la ―política del lugar‖ en el contexto regional yungueño.

    This article aims to show the role of indigenous women in defending the Indigenous Territory and National Park Isiboro Secure (TIPNIS) in the Bolivian Amazonia versus the highway project and the cocalero colonization promoted by the government of Evo Morales Ayma. The study of resistance in the TIPNIS will serve to illustrate the current relationship between colonialism, capitalism and patriarchy, on the one hand, and the (self) identification of female bodies with the territory, on the other. We start from a broader global and national context where the Bolivian state, under the “progressive” governments of the Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS), is characterized by a unifying and “modernizing” nationalism based on accelerated extractivism and a developmentalist projection that contradicts the avowed plurinational and pro-indigenous principles, and asserts the dispossession of territories and resources by transnational capital.
    El presente artículo tiene como objetivo mostrar el papel de las mujeres indígenas en la defensa del Territorio Indígena y Parque Nacional Isiboro Secure (TIPNIS) en la Amazonía boliviana, frente al proyecto carretero y la colonización cocalera promovidas por el gobierno de Evo Morales Ayma. El estudio de la resistencia en el TIPNIS nos servirá para ilustrar la relación actual entre el colonialismo, el capitalismo y el patriarcado, por una parte, y la (auto)identificación de los cuerpos femeninos con el territorio en disputa. Estamos partiendo de un contexto global y nacional más amplio, donde el Estado boliviano bajo los gobiernos “progresistas” del Movimiento al Socialismo (MAS) se caracteriza por un nacionalismo unificador y “modernizante” basado en el extractivismo acelerado y una proyección desarrollista que contradice los principios plurinacionales y proindígenas declarados, y asevera el despojo de los territorios y recursos por el capital, sobre todo transnacional.

    Desde el 2007 se ha comenzado en Cuba un proceso de actualización del modelo económico y social que modifica de manera sustantiva, entre otros elementos, el empleo. Uno de sus resultados directos es el abandono del principio de pleno empleo que rigió esta política por más de tres décadas. En estas nuevas circunstancias, las diferentes inserciones al trabajo remunerado están, como nunca antes, en función de la gestión individual, con altos riesgos para aquellas personas con poco capital o acceso a redes de información, entre las que se encuentran más representadas las mujeres. Este trabajo muestra los resultados preliminares de una investigación que se propone analizar la política de empleo y su incidencia en la equidad de género en un territorio que experimenta un modelo de gestión descentralizada
    Since 2007 Cuba has begun an updating process of its economic and social model, which deeply modifies employment, among other elements. One of its direct results is the neglect of full employment principle which commanded this policy for more than three decades. In these new circumstances, different insertion on paid jobs are, as never before, related with individual management, that could bring high risks for persons with low capital or those who have few access to information networks, among which women can be overrepresented. This paper shows preliminary results of a research focused on employment policy and its incidence on gender equity in a locality that is going through a decentralized management model

    It's difficult to define what a nation is. There is no unanimity as far as the starting point of such a phenomenon is concerned. Nobody knows whether it will exist for ever. The author is discussing the importance of a territory, of the specif-ic language, of a specific culture, of some symbols, and of the state for the building of the Brazilian nation. The author states that the most important national problem no-wadays is still the social exclusion of large groups of the Brazilian population. The socially excluded people can't participate fully in national life. Some of them are ex-cluded in fact from the national community too.
    El autor reflexiona sobre el papel de la especificidad del territorio brasileño para la formación nacional en el Brasil, sobre el papel de la posesión de un idioma diferente del resto de América, así como de la posesión de una cultura propia y del Estado. La esfera del simbolismo parece también al autor importante para el pro-ceso estudiado. El autor opina que el problema del nuestro tiempo en el proceso de la formación nacional del Brasil ya no consiste en que alguien no sepa que es personal-mente parte de la nación brasileña, o que alguien no sea reconocido como brasileño debido a su particularidad alguna, sino en el hecho que mucha gente que vive en Bra-sil cae victima de la exclusión social.
