    Efectos de la subtitulación en la comprensión y adquisición del léxico en estudiantes polacos de ELEEl visionado de contenido audiovisual subtitulado en una época en la que las plataformas de streaming se han metido en nuestras vidas de lleno, se ha convertido en algo que forma parte del día a día de muchas personas. Consideramos este hecho una oportunidad para que los estudiantes de español como lengua extranjera continúen practicando la lengua que aprenden en clase también fuera del aula. Estas plataformas facilitan subtítulos en una multitud de idiomas y es precisamente esta herramienta la que puede servir de apoyo a la hora de estudiar un nuevo idioma. Dado que existen escasos datos en esta línea de investigación, en el presente estudio se pretende demostrar que el visionado de contenido audiovisual puede mejorar la adquisición del vocabulario (además de otras destrezas) y que los subtítulos pueden resultar de gran ayuda en este proceso.
    Watching media with subtitles at this time when streaming platforms have gone into our lives, have become a habit for a lot of people’s daily live. We consider this as an opportunity for students of Spanish to continue practicing the language once they are not in the classroom. These platforms provide subtitles in many languages and this tool might be helpful when studying a new one. Given that there is scarce data in this line of research, this study seeks to contribute to it by demonstrating that viewing media may improve de vocabulary acquisition (apart from other skills) and proving that subtitles may help in this process.
    W epoce, w której platformy streamingowe w pełni wkroczyły w nasze życie, oglądanie treści audiowizualnych z napisami stało się powszechne. Osoby uczące się hiszpańskiego mają możliwość utrwalania języka poza zajęciami w klasie. Platformy te oferują napisy w wielu wersjach językowych i mogą okazać się pomocnym narzędziem do nauki nowego języka. Biorąc pod uwagę, iż w tej linii badań jest niewiele danych, niniejsze studium ma na celu wykazanie, że oglądanie treści audiowizualnych może wpłynąć na przyswajalność słownictwa (poza innymi umiejętnościami) oraz udowodnić, że napisy mogą być w tym procesie bardzo pomocne.

    In this paper we analyze the different syntactic-functional characteristics of se. The form se has different uses in Spanish, which, by their variety and differences with respect to Polish and, since not all of these values are represented in the same way, may be a problem for Polish learners of Spanish as a foreign language. On the one hand, he is a personal unstressed pronoun belonging to the series me, te, se, nos, os, se, and as such it can function as direct or indirect object. Thus, we have a series of pronouns that vary according to the number and person in Spanish, and they are equivalent to two unique forms in Polish depending on their grammatical function. Furthermore, it can appear in sentences whose main characteristic is to represent processes and states as in the passive or impersonal sentences, and also we have a Polish non-existent structure such as the passive-reflexive sentence. The fact that this structure has no equivalent in Polish motivates some difficulties for Polish learners of Spanish as a foreign language. Moreover, such sentences are often ignored during learning, so that difficulties remain over time.

    El objetivo del presente estudio es analizar el cambio de la motivación y las actitudes que presentan los alumnos universitarios del español como lengua extranjera en la Universidad de Maria Curie Sklodowska de Lublin (Polonia). Se utilizó el diseño longitudinal para analizar los cambios de estas variables al empezar y al terminar la carrera de Filología Hispánica. Los resultados de las pruebas indican que en los alumnos del último curso mejoró la motivación para aprender español, disminuyó la motivación instrumental e integradora y no cambió la motivación intrínseca y las actitudes.
    The goal of this study is to investigate the changes in motivation and attitudes experienced by university students of Spanish as a foreign language during the five years of their college education al the Maria Curie Sklodowska University of Lublin (Poland). The longitudinal design was used to analyze the changes of these variables at the beginning and at the end of the study. The results of the tests conducted on the last year of student education showed that the motivation for the Spanish learning increased, instrumental and integrative motivation decreased and the intrinsic motivation and attitudes maintained on the same level.

    Over the past several years the number of students learning Spanish as a foreign language has doubled in Poland. The present article is an attempt at answering the following questions: Why is Spanish so popular in Polish schools and what are the reasons for choosing this language by Polish students? The authors wish to analyze the situation from the point of view of two types of motivation: internal (integral) motivation and external (instrumental) motivation. The results of our study have been compared to the results of corresponding studies carried out among Polish students learning German. At the opening of our deliberations we present the definitions and typical features of motivation. Next the typology and origin of motivation is discussed, which incorporates both the cognitive and affective approach. Finally, we submit the results of a pilot study performed among Polish middle school and high school students who learn Spanish.

    Translation encompasses a complex activity in which we must transfer ideas from a source language to a target language, so that knowledge of the environment surrounding the working languages becomes a necessary competence to carry out the translation activity. Within this knowledge, we must necessarily include the cultural aspects of a language, either from an intercultural or an intracultural perspective. For the purpose of this article, we will focus on how intercultural elements can be developed in the classroom of Spanish as a foreign language. In order to accomplish our aim, we will expose based on empirical analysis the introduction of sociocultural items in university studies with beginners learners (A1-A2) and the result obtained, knowing that the primary objective of this curriculum is to prepare students to be translators or interpreters.

    The technique for collecting available lexicon is based on surveys of open lists in which for two minutes informants recorded all the words that come to mind in relation to each center of interest, up to a total of 16 thematic stimuli. These stimuli were defined by Gougenheim et al. (1964) as the most universally representative semantic sectors. However, those centers of interest 'are disparate semantic categories: its ontogeny, their internal organization, nor its reach are the same' (Hernández Muñoz, 2006: 134). This article characterizes the centers of interest of the available lexicon tests and examines the taxonomies of the centers of interest proposed by different authors. Finally, it analyzes the organization of the lexical repertoires of Spanish as a Foreign Language, produced by a sample of 120 students from 3rd year in bilingual high school with Spanish in Warsaw (XXXIV Liceum), Kraków (VI Liceum) and Łódz (XXXII Liceum). Analysis gives attention to the type of partnerships that are prevalent in the bosom of the lexical sets, as well as describes in detail significant relationships that occur among the most frequent words.

    Desde nuestro interés por la adquisición de lenguas extranjeras por alumnos polacos, básicamente el español, y en particular, por los estudios de análisis de errores, en el presente trabajo nos acercamos a las metodologías de los estudios adquisicionistas practicados en el ámbito de la enseñanza de inglés a alumnos polacos, ya que históricamente la enseñanza de esta tan difundida lengua ha constituido una referencia para el desarrollo de las metodologías de enseñanza de otras lenguas, al igual que pasa en el campo de los estudios de adquisición, donde los dedicados al inglés también constituyen una referencia obligatoria en materia de investigación de los procesos ocurridos en el aula de lengua extranjera. En el presente trabajo, que tiene carácter de revisión metodológica, observamos el desarrollo de la disciplina desde los estudios contrastivos de adquisición del inglés por polacos hasta la realización del trabajo de análisis de errores por Zybert (2000), cuyos procedimientos procuramos presentar y reseñar aquí con el objetivo de comprobar la posibilidad de aplicar estos procedimientos en nuestro ámbito, esto es, en el estudio de la enseñanza de español lengua extranjera (ELE). Nos interesan básicamente las implicaciones prácticas de este estudio.
    Since our principal concern is the acquisition of foreign languages, especially Spanish, by Polish students, in this paper we focus on the methodologies of language acquisition in the field of teaching English to Polish students. Historically, the teaching of English has served as a point of reference for the development of methodologies of teaching other languages and has become a mandatory reference in the investigation of the processes taking place in the foreign language classroom This paper gives an overview of the development of the discipline from the contrastive studies of the acquisition of English by Polish students to the analysis of errors in the teaching of English to Polish students carried out by Zybert (2000), whose methodology we present here with the aim of adopting his procedures when we teach Spanish as a foreign language. Therefore, we are chiefly concerned with the practical implications of Zybert's study.
    Z racji zainteresowania tematyką przyswajania języków obcych przez polskich uczniów, przede wszystkim języka hiszpańskiego, oraz szczególnie analizą błędów, w niniejszej pracy skupiono się na metodologii badań akwizycyjnych przeprowadzonych z zakresie uczenia się angielskiego przez polskich uczniów, jako że historycznie to nauczanie tego tak rozpowszechnionego języka stanowiło punkt odniesienia dla rozwoju metodyki nauczania innych języków obcych, jak i w zakresie badań nad przyswajaniem języków, w którym to prace dotyczące języka angielskiego mają charakter wzorcowy w odniesieniu do badań procesów dydaktycznych. W pracy o charakterze przeglądu metodologiczno-bibliograficznego przedstawiono rozwój dyscypliny od studiów kontrastywnych nad przyswajaniem angielskiego przez polskich uczniów po analizę błędów w tym zakresie przez Zyberta (2000) w pracy, której założenia i przebieg tu przedstawiono i scharakteryzowano w celu przekonania się, czy widzimy zastosowanie jej procedur w odniesieniu do nauczania hiszpańskiego jako języka obcego. Interesują nas więc aspekty aplikacyjne tej pracy w naszych badaniach. Słowa kluczowe: analiza
