    The family upbringing is thus increasingly suffering from permanent development and innovation, not only in society, but especially families. Why?     The paper analyzes the problem of humanism and tolerance in the history of philosophy. There is an emphasis on the understanding of humanity in the formation of J.G. Herder and the definition of tolerance of J. Locke presentation. The author points to the relationship between the humanity and tolerance and expresses the opinion that there is no humanity without the tolerance. As humanity as tolerance have their limits. These limits are presented as antihumanism and intolerance. In conclusion, the author outlined the idea of an open, dialogic and human tolerance.

    The main aim of the paper is to analyse the problem of tolerance in the context of globalization and pluralism of cultures. Tolerance is defined as the value of European spiritual culture. Globalization is presented as a backward process of the creation of unitary civilization, and as one of the reasons of cultural separatism. Pluralism of cultures is interpreted as an alternative to unsuccessful model of multiculturalism.

    In the article the author focuses on the specifics of nursing care for clients with the Islamic religion. Islam is the religion of his devotees are called muslims. Islam is one of the most widespread religions of the meeting lovers worldwide. Muslims base their faith on five pillars. Islamic ethics is a very important part of muslim spirituality. Based on Islamic law. Meals are in islamic culture received big attention. The need for hygiene is extremely important for muslims, for reasons already flax was washing for prayer. Hygiene is closely related to the care of appearance. As the emphasis on the purity of the body and even the cleanliness of clothing. Clothing should be clean, decent, its purpose is to beautify the appearance of the shroud body. It is important to know the cultural specificities of Muslims. When we will have nurse enough information about of islamic culture and even beer on specific features of other cultures, it can avoid any misunderstanding the conflict, and even by the patient’s prejudices another culture. It is a precondition for providing quality nursing care because all people, regardless of religion culture are entitled to the provision of quality health and nursing care.

    The paper analyzes and interprets the idea of tolerance. The author focuses primarily on the issues of origin, the meaning and limits of tolerance. He emphasizes that the idea of tolerance can be meaningfully (and effectively) examined only in relation to intolerance. In this paper the attention is paid to the location and importance of tolerance in contemporary concepts of multiculturalism. Author believes that tolerance is part of the European system of cultural, religious and political values. According to him tolerance can play a constructive role only if it respects the current pluralism of cultures (including the pluralism of values) and support the intercultural dialogue. Tolerated can be except intolerance everything what does not devalue human dignity.

    A part of the quality of nursing care is communication. Communication is social interaction in which knowingly or unknowingly transmit the information. It is conditioned not only the material and technical equipment, but also professional approach to patient nurse. Slovak Republic from the entry into the European Union annually recorded an increasing number of foreigners residing lawfully in its territory. Number of foreigners in Slovakia is increasing. At the forefront it is therefore increasingly multicultural receives care and communication. Communication is an everyday part of nurse ́s work and is essential to establish a relationship nurse - patient. Contact with foreigners, emphasis is placed on the importance of multicultural communication and communication skills of nurses, which should be followed when communicating with foreigners. For effective communication with foreigners need a deeper knowledge and understanding of their culture. Each patient must be understood individually to have the communication has benefited. The authors deals with specifics of communication in the treatment of patients / patient with the muslim religion. It is important to realize that the islamic religion has some differences from Christianity. To be a Muslim patient care effective, we must be aware of how islam affects the daily lives of Muslims. The best way to respect cultural traditions is a will for understanding and tolerance.

    The origin of globalization are meaningful for estimation its present shape. In various aspects globalization means new variety of links and mutual relations between the State and society. It lets capital pass freely. Therefore, if capital is an essential part of production, then each country has to compete to attract this capital. Each European nation’s work to build a “common house” and strengthening its own identity may become an actual dam to stop globalization disadvantages.

    Na religijność jako na przedmiot zainteresowania naukowego można patrzeć wieloaspektowo. Jednym z tych aspektów jest postrzeganie wiary przez młodych ludzi mieszkających w Europie Środkowej. Praca dotyczy pojęcia i przeżywania religijności oraz jej rozumienia przez współczesną młodzież. W artykule przedstawiono inspirujące naukowo wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w ostatnich latach w północnej Słowacji w diecezji spiskiej wśród respondentów w wieku około 17-18 lat. Pojem a prezivanie religiozity mladych l’udi v stredoeurópskom regióne (Na podklade vyskumov religiozity mladeze z oblasti severneho Slovenska)Na religiozitu ako na predmet vedeckého záujmu možno hľadieť z viacerých aspektov. Jedným z nich je pohľad na náboženstvo vo svete vnímania viery súčasných  mladých ľudí, žijúcich v stredoeurópskom regióne. Štúdia sa zaoberá pojmom a kontextom religiozity a jej chápania spod zorného uhla prežívania viery a náboženských prejavov súčasnej mládeže. Prináša výsledky viacerých výskumov, uskutočnených v posledných rokoch na severnom Slovensku na území Spišskej diecézy medzi cca 17-18 ročnými respondentmi, čím prináša i škálu nových výskumných výsledkov, inšpiratívnych pre religionistiku ako vedu.
    Religiosity as a subject of scientific interest can be viewed in many ways. One of these aspects is the experiencing of faith by young people living in Central Europe. The work deals with the concept and experience of religiosity and its understanding by contemporary youth. The article presents the scientifically inspirational results of research conducted in recent years in northern Slovakia at the Spiš Diocese among respondents aged 17–18.
