    Education influenced and continues to affect human understanding. Adopted the concept of education determines the character and re-education affects not only the concept itself, but also society as a whole. The beginnings of education are found in ancient human cultures. Education is a phenomenon that is recorded in the history of world and European thinking constantly change and takes on different forms and shape, pointing to the dynamism and diversity education. Social values are the basic characteristics of all social groups. Are evaluating the expression of fact. Shaped by the life course of action of many factors: environmental factors, upbringing and personality alone. In doing so, therefore, the choice is determined by human values education and social influence. In accordance with these influences, each person, company, social group creates its own general and specific value systems and codes.

    The phenomenon of globalisation brings new possibilities of manifestations of individualization, which is implemented in the transformation of values, beliefs, attitudes, lifestyles and finding a place in society. The article emphasizes the relationship of youth to society, family, consumerism and manifestation of individualization within the frame of globalization. The effects of globalization and the subsequent individualization are char- acterized by the positive and negative manifestations (in the creation of youth subcultures and growth of social-pathologies phenomena). Factors such as social services and counseling, family, school, after-school facili- ties may have its positive impact on creation of a positive value systems and attitudinal orientation of the young generation.

    The impact of globalization and technological development causes big problems for young people and they are becoming passive recipients of news, information and live in a virtual world. These problems are related to problems with personal development, willingness to work together and personal growth. Young people face the problem of unemployment in all European Union. How is possible to deal with these problems of passivity, unemployment and lack of skills for active life? These are the questions that worry not only youth, but also future generations. The article places emphasis on personality development, accountability, support, positive thinking, willingness to work together and volunteering.

    Na religijność jako na przedmiot zainteresowania naukowego można patrzeć wieloaspektowo. Jednym z tych aspektów jest postrzeganie wiary przez młodych ludzi mieszkających w Europie Środkowej. Praca dotyczy pojęcia i przeżywania religijności oraz jej rozumienia przez współczesną młodzież. W artykule przedstawiono inspirujące naukowo wyniki badań przeprowadzonych w ostatnich latach w północnej Słowacji w diecezji spiskiej wśród respondentów w wieku około 17-18 lat. Pojem a prezivanie religiozity mladych l’udi v stredoeurópskom regióne (Na podklade vyskumov religiozity mladeze z oblasti severneho Slovenska)Na religiozitu ako na predmet vedeckého záujmu možno hľadieť z viacerých aspektov. Jedným z nich je pohľad na náboženstvo vo svete vnímania viery súčasných  mladých ľudí, žijúcich v stredoeurópskom regióne. Štúdia sa zaoberá pojmom a kontextom religiozity a jej chápania spod zorného uhla prežívania viery a náboženských prejavov súčasnej mládeže. Prináša výsledky viacerých výskumov, uskutočnených v posledných rokoch na severnom Slovensku na území Spišskej diecézy medzi cca 17-18 ročnými respondentmi, čím prináša i škálu nových výskumných výsledkov, inšpiratívnych pre religionistiku ako vedu.
    Religiosity as a subject of scientific interest can be viewed in many ways. One of these aspects is the experiencing of faith by young people living in Central Europe. The work deals with the concept and experience of religiosity and its understanding by contemporary youth. The article presents the scientifically inspirational results of research conducted in recent years in northern Slovakia at the Spiš Diocese among respondents aged 17–18.

    Authors in this presentation suggest a role for Public health and Nursing as an institution focused on serving and protecting and promoting the health, quality of life, education and health monitoring of compliance programs. They point to the increasingly important role in health policy at the european and at the world level. Dominant objectives of European Union programs are particularly health promotion and disease prevention, improving living conditions, quality and access to health services. Gradually, they create the individual attributes such as health safety, health promotion, quality of life. Authors characterize the health status of the EU population as well as Slovak population and detailing programs of the EU and Slovakia in the field of public health. They approaching the issue of lifestyle diseases to their risk factors. Authors do not forget to the role of public health in the health of children and youth, with specific issues in old age.

    The issue of leisure time forms an integral part of the complex educational activities of the school, family, and education outside of class. In the article, the author focuses on the theoretical basis of free time. It is based on the current state of professional literature on this topic. At the same time, he not only analyzes this knowledge but also subjects it to an independent evaluation opinion based on his previous scientific works and research.
