    This páper reports on the dynamics of the anthropocentrism principle which has deter- mined three development stages o f linguistic pragmatics - communicative, cognitive and discursive ones. In the first (communicative) slage the anthropocentrism principle in the pragmatics involves emphasis on speech acts of one communicant. The second (cognitive) stage is characterized by applying to mental States o f the communicant and aims to explain the relationship language - mind ~ speec h , on the one hand, and involvement of interdisciplinary relations, on the other hand. In the third (discursive) stage, the anthropocentrism principle expands to cognitive and speech interaction o f communicants and their groups within discourses of different types signifying the leading role o f linguistic pragmatics in the evolvemenl o f discourse linguistics. An overview of discourse interpretations is given which include: research materiał (discourse is a text, an excerpt of a text or a complex of texts), object (discourse is a process) and subject (discourse is a unity o f communication process and text).

    In the study we pay attention to the interactive stylistics, with emphasis on the monitoring of language use by people, who are viewed from an interdisciplinary perspective in order to maximally understand their communication practices (including understanding of language). We are interested in how such a science relates with practical rhetoric as the art of good and convincing verbal communication across the three modes of persuasion (logos, ethos and pathos), as well as in the fact which particularities repose in any of the disciplines. The background for such exploration is represented by the real argumentations of common people in internet discussions about refugees in the Slovak mass media in 2015.

    Goal – the article proves the importance of study of rhetoric and rhetorical competence forming for administrative specialties students. The experience of public speech training for students on “Public administration” and “Management” specialties in Odessa Regional Institute for Public Administration of the National Academy for Public Administration under the President of Ukraine is presented. Research methodology – the methodological basis of the work consists in comprehensive, interdisciplinary and systemic approaches to the analysis of forming rhetorical competence for administrative specialties students and important components of the system of training in this direction. Synthesis, generalization, comparison, observation, retrospective analysis as well as other general scientific methods were used while research conducting. Score/results – in this article we analyze methods and techniques of forming skills of public speaking for students within the framework of discipline “Rhetoric and business communication”. Originality/value – the originality and novelty of the scientific paper lies in the represented exercises and practical recommendations on forming and perfection of public speech for students of administrative specialties.     Opis:
    The present study explores the ways of utilizing literature in political dispute, as defined by Bakhtin’s concept of speech genres exploited in secondary genres. The material includes Turgenev’s and Dostoyevsky’s novels and Yevgeny Chirikov’s family chronicle. The writers in question present politics in the anthropological sense of the term: as man’s relation to his social reality. The author attempts to determine which literary works were viewed as politically motivated and what functions they fulfilled in political disputes. The analysis reveals the following: literary works often served as a pretext to start a dispute, and in the dispute itself – as a means of defining the protagonists’ cultural and generational identity and values, as a rhetorical trick, as a source of social concepts and behaviours, as a catalyst for a revolutionary paradigm and, finally, as a means of discriminating against political opponents. On these grounds, the author is inclined to argue that Russian literature of the 19th century constituted a strong social communication component and provided ideological material for political discourse.

    The article focuses on the phenomenon of the contemporary academie discourse and námely on those processes that lead to its becoming senseless, as the author suggests. It happens as a resull of the unifícation of the formulas of the academie discourse, which are accepted as rituál ones in the academie community. Since the consciousness that seeks to aware is hidden behind the forms that are above individual, it, on the one hand, dechneš the responsibility for the mechanisms of the paradigm chosen in the research, and, on the other hand - communicates the academie elites, dictating “the rules of the game”, about the academie loyalty of the former. In thus sense the comparison of the contemporary academie rhetoric, as a systém of the means to get adapted to the existing demands, to the rhetoric of totalitarian discourses suggests itself: in both cases the consciousness that is behind the text does not allow oneself to stand out as individuality but, on the contrary, demonstrates its submission to the existing rules, or in other words, to the loyalty demanded by the community.

    Opis:
    This article presents the results of the content monitoring of news programs of the Belarusian state TV channel ONT. Revealed, that from a certain period on the Belarusian television pro-Russian narratives used to create a negative image of the West in the viewer have been promoted. Shown that in the stories of this media the West is portrayed in the context of its destructive impact on the Republic of Belarus. Noted, that special attention is paid to the protests of 2020 in Belarus. According to the rhetoric of the ONT TV channel, the mentioned actions, being inspired by Western countries, are an element of the West’s war against Russia. The author attempted to analyze the attitude of the Belarusian society to the Western world. Emphasized, that the fixed sociologists’ attitude of Belarusians to the West indicates that the bipolar picture of the world offered by this TV channel, at this stage, is generally not shared by the Belarusian society.
    В данной статье представлены результаты мониторинга контента новостных программ белорусского государственного телеканала ОНТ. Выявлено, что с определенного периода на белорусском телевидении продвигаются пророссийские нарративы, применяемые для создания у телезрителя отрицательного образа Запада. Продемонстрировано, что в сюжетах данного СМИ Запад изображается в контексте его деструктивного воздействия на Республику Беларусь. Утверждается, что белорусскому зрителю навязывается необходимость выбора между воинственным Западом и дружественной Россией. Отмечено, что особое внимание уделено акциям протеста 2020 года в Беларуси. Согласно риторике телеканала ОНТ, упомянутые акции, будучи инспирированными западными странами, являются элементом войны Запада против России. Автором осуществлена попытка анализа отношения белорусского общества к западному миру. Подчеркнуто, что зафиксированное социологами отношение белорусов к Западу свидетельствует о том, что биполярная картина мира, предлагаемая данным телеканалом, на данном этапе в целом не разделяется белорусским обществом. Обращено внимание, что наличие в белорусском информационном пространстве широкой сети пророссийских интернет-медиа и соответственная риторика, используемая на местном телевидении, создают благоприятные условия для массового воздействия на белорусскую аудиторию.

    This article presents the author’s interpretation of a new approach to the study of cross-cultural communication problems based on similarities of different cultures, whose representatives are partners in cross-cultural dialogue. From a humanistic standpoint, it is argued that there is an urgent need to change the paradigm of professional crosscultural communication from black rhetoric to white cross-cultural dialogue – a transition which can be implemented especially through the assertive behavior of its participants as an alternative to aggressive behavior. The main reasons for the insufficient effectiveness of cross-cultural dialogue with representatives of Russian culture are analyzed, including the historically conditioned unfriendly attitude of the world community towards Russia and foreign participants’ militant ethnocentrism.

    Walerij Igoriewicz Tiupa (ur. 1945 r.) – jeden z najwybitniejszych rosyjskich teoretyków literatury i najważniejszych teoretyków narracji na świecie, autor ponad trzystu dziewięćdziesięciu publikacji naukowych z zakresu teorii literatury, teorii komunikacji i analizy dyskursu, komparatystyki, narratologii, estetyki, retoryki, profesor Rosyjskiego Państwowego Uniwersytetu Humanistycznego w Moskwie (RGGU). W zainteresowaniach naukowych Tiupy wyraźnie zarysowują się dwa główne obszary problemowe. Pierwszy z nich dotyczy estetyki literatury, drugi – narratologii. Wywiad z badaczem został poświęcony właśnie temu ostatniemu. Tiupa wyjaśnia, czym jest współczesna narratologia i dlaczego jest potrzebna; mówi między innymi o związkach narratologii z retoryką, o perspektywach rozwoju narratologii porównawczej, o projekcie stworzenia narratologii historycznej.
    Valery Igorevich Tyupa (born in 1945) – one of the most outstanding Russian literary theorists and the most important narrative theorists in the world, author of over three hundred and ninety scientific publications in the field of literary theory, communication theory and discourse analysis, comparative studies, narratology, aesthetics, rhetoric, professor at the Russian State University of Humanities in Moscow (RGGU). In Tyupa's scientific interests, two main problem areas are clearly outlined. The first concerns the aesthetics of literature, the second – narratology. The interview with the researcher was devoted to the latter. Tyupa explains what contemporary narratology is and why it is needed; he talks, among others, about the relationships between narratology and rhetoric, about the prospects for the development of comparative narratology, and about the project of creating historical narratology.
    Валерий Игоревич Тюпа (1945 г.) – один из ведущих российских теоретиков литературы и важнейших теоретиков наррации мира, автор свыше 390 научных публикаций в области теории литературы, теории коммуникации и дискурсного анализа, компаративистики, нарратологии, эстетики, риторики, профессор Российского государственного гуманитарного университета в Москве (РГГУ). В области научных интересов Тюпы выстраиваются две основные линии. Первая касается эстетики литературы, вторая – нарратологии. Интервью с исследователем посвящено именно последней линии. Тюпа объясняет, что это современная нарратология и почему она нужна; говорит о взаимосвязи нарратологии с риторикой, о перстективах развития сравнительной нарратологии, о проекте создания исторической нарратологии.
