The article is dedicated to a new network genre — the someecard as a component of the Polish-speaking and Russian-speaking mimetic Internet discourse. The main task of the research is to reveal the principal features of someecards as an Internet genre. For this purpose, we address a number of issues related to the appearance of this genre and its place among other hybrid genres. The functions of a someecard are set — genre-forming features, features of themes, manifestations of genre creativity and the availability of genre links.

Статья посвящена книге Ж. Шапп д’Отроша Путешествие в Сибирь по приказу ко- роля в 1761 году, положившей начало развитию той модификации жанровой формы траве- лога о России, которую принято называть русофобской. Основными ее чертами являются предвзятое отношение к стране как варварской, отсталой, населенной непросветленным, безнравственным народом, несущей угрозу всему европейскому миру своей агрессивностью; стереотипность оценок, неприятие всего самобытного и незнакомого европейцу и пото- му достойного осуждения. Книга Ж. Шапп д’Отроша была плодом свойственных позднему французскому Просвещению убеждений в необходимости разрушения «русского миража» и возвращения к европейскому стереотипу восприятия страны как олицетворения варвар- ства, что стало первым жанровым признаком русофобских травелогов. Этому отчаянно со- противлялась Екатерина II, Антидот которой был не только попыткой опровержения суж- дений Шапп д’Отроша, но и началом информационной войны между Европой и Россией. Недоброжелательность мнений Шапп д’Отроша о стране встревожилa М. В. Ломоносова еще за четыре года до выхода в свет книги французского автора. Аббат дал беспощадную оценку деспотической форме правления в России и её следствиям, но оставался в плену принятых на Западе стереотипов в отношении плохо изученной им страны. Нетерпимость и непонима- ние иной культуры, высокомерие в отношении ко всему русскому как заведомо ущербному, стремление дать оценку всей жизни России, совсем не изучив и не поняв страны, следование политической конъюнктуре, основанной на нежелании допускать Россию на равных в круг европейских государств, зависимость от культурных стереотипов – всё это и определило ос- новные жанровые признаки травелога о России, созданного Ж. Шапп д’Отрошем.
The article is devoted to the book by Jean Chappe d’Auteroche Voyage en Sibérie fait par ordre du roi en 1761, which laid the foundation for the development of that variety of the genre form of travelogue about Russia which is commonly called Russophobic. Its main features are 1) a biased attitude towards the country as barbaric, backward, populated by an unenlightened, immoral people, threatening the entire European world with its aggressiveness, 2) stereotyped assessments, 3) rejection of everything unique and unfamiliar to Europeans and therefore found condemnable. The book by Chappe d’Auteroche was the product of the beliefs widespread in the late French Enlightenment that it was necessary to destroy “the Russian mirage” and to return to the European stereotype of perception of the country as an epitome of barbarism. Such a view became the first generic feature of Russophobic travelogues. This was fiercely resisted by Catherine II, whose Antidote was not only an attempt to refute the judgments of Chappe d’Auteroche, but also the beginning of an information war between Europe and Russia. The illwill underlying the opinions of Chappe d’Auteroche about the country had alarmed Mikhail Lomonosov four years before the publication of the book by the French author. The French astronomer gave a merciless assessment of the despotic form of government in Russia and its consequences but remained bound by the stereotypes generally accepted in the West regarding the country that he had not studied well. The book is characterised by the following: intolerance and lack of understanding for other cultures, arrogance towards everything Russian as obviously flawed, an eagerness to judge the entire life of Russia without having studied and understood the country (influenced by political ambience and the reluctance to allow Russia on equal terms into the circle of European states), and relying on cultural stereotypes. All these became the main genre features of the travelogue about Russia, of which Chappe d’Auteroche can be called the creator.

The article presents a study on invective as a lyrical genre from the point of view of its semantic structure, based on samples of the genre identified in Russian and Polish poetry of 19th–20th centuries. Comparative analysis of texts facilitated an emergence and description of stable semantic structure, which is a unique one amongst other genres. This confirms status of invective as an independent literature genre and contributes to the building of a model of a genre process.

This article considers the key genre trends in Akhmatova’s poetry. The term «dominant installation of the author» (Kighney’s term) is used as the main genre-make criterion. The introspective, formally canonical, functional installations are defined and analysed. The conclusion of the article is that the author's installations, inspired by the needs of time and tradition, and may be embodied in an individual poetic work in the syncretic, differently interpreted genre structures.

The author considers a group of Russian poetic texts aimed at the political foes of Russia as a state. The author argues that these texts are samples of lyrical genre of invective, which is proved by their semantic structure and the objective of the text as a kind of poetic expression. The structure of the genre and its tradition imply a specific image of Russia, which forms in all of the texts analysed, regardless of the literary epoch and political beliefs of the poets.

Unlike the majority of linguistic researchers, we consider the compliment as a speech genre, and a praise as a speech tactic of a positive assessment of the addressee. This tactic is the main and only speech tactic designed to serve the complimentary purpose, which expresses a positive attitude towards the interlocutor. Specifics of the compliment as a speech genre are defined by it possessing communicative independence and completeness. Unlike other genres of speech etiquette, the compliment is not attached to a certain situation and represents a facultative element of phatic communication. The etiquette essence of a compliment presupposes a certain convention of its contents, therefore theoretically it is supposed that the stated positive assessment shouldn’t be verified by the addressee. However, the importance of the category of sincerity for the Russian language consciousness determines the fact that in modernRussian communicative culture there is a special style of compliment which is caused by an aspiration of the sender to evoke trust of the interlocutor to the contents of a statement made. Markers of this style are various language emotional and estimated means and the structural-syntactic features particular to spontaneous informal conversation.

The reorientation of linguistics to the study of the regularities of its functioning in stylistics, manifested in the fact that functional style has been regarded as a type of language in any sphere of human activity, regards language in the aspect of differentiation and modification in the basic speech varieties. It is not by chance that text samples from different areas of communication are used in frequency dictionaries. Understanding style as a way to integrate speech performance first put forward the questions of the compositional-semantic organization of the text, the realization of its categories, constructive principles, and techniques. In functional stylistics studies the two main areas – the use of language and the organization of a speech performance – are analyzed as complementary, but cohesion requires understanding the regularities of the functioning of language units in a text with many objectives, updated in texts of the given sphere. To resolve this problem, it is reasonable to rely on the notion of speech genres, each of which is a sequence of standard cognitive-communicative actions – structural elements acting as an object in the text of spiritual socio-cultural activities. The analysis of these actions has revealed and systematized lexical units in communicative composition of language material (Gasparov 2010). This text-centered study of functioning of lexical and other means is of interest not only for the theory of style (and, more broadly, in speech study), but also to practice learning the language in its functional varieties.

The paper analyzes a notion of style developed by S. Gajda as a humanistic structure of a text. The characteristics of a scientist’s notion with presumably wide (for stylistics) subject area – implementation of personal author and social cultural manifestations of text activity in different versions of comprehensive organisation of a verbal product – and stylistics categories with huge potential for synthesis are given. The sources of a style as a higher organizational body for a text in the works of the representatives of aesthetic realism school, Russian and Czech scientists are looked at. The fruitfulness of the introduction of human activity understandings into the integrated research of style is justified.

The paper deals with the genre typology of the publicistic functional style. The speech genres are interpreted as a three-part system reflecting the interaction of the semantic positions both of the writer and the addressee. For the first time there has been characterized the system of the reader's genre needs which are nom1ally taken into consideration by a reporter when creating the text ofthis or that particular genre. As a result of the study into the problem it has been stated that various informational needs of the audience determine the compositional andthematic genres'peculiarities, as well as the communicative requirements and set the stylistic parametres of the pattems. In the paper there is proposed thesolution of the disputable issued in linguistics concerning the primary and secondary genres and are revealed the regularities in the different genres' interractions.

The article examines one of the formal parameters of the primary speech genres. The material of the study were Russian spoken dialogues. The author shows the importance of brief reactive statements as a signal of certain communicative actions of the speaker. Brief responses correct interaction of the communicants, indicating the actual com- munication line and ensuring mutual adaptation of the communicants to changing communication conditions. The rhythmical parameter of spoken dialogue is perceived directly and is a way to design a strategy of communication coordination.

The article considers the problem of the creation and evolution of aspecific genre of medieval Russian literature – order (a description of court ceremonial). The article identifies the origins of the genre form, its artistic and aesthetic basis, analyzes the evolution of the Russian publishing tradition of book of the 12–17th centuries. Particular attention is drawn to the existence of the called genre forms in the Russian court culture of the 1650s, the era of the reign of Tsar Alexei Mikhailovich.

The article is devoted to the problem of authorial intention in contemporary Russian drama. Firstly, major theoretical approaches to the ‘problem of the author’ in drama are identified. It is then demonstrated how cultural paradigms change in an artistic consciousness and how, as a consequence, the most important structural components of drama – conflict, character, genre – become discredited and deconstructed. There follows an overview of specific examples of such transformations of these generic features of drama. It is argued in the paper that such transformations result from the activation of the author’s consciousness and are a manifestation of the author’s intentions regarding the modern picture of the world.
