The reorientation of linguistics to the study of the regularities of its functioning in stylistics, manifested in the fact that functional style has been regarded as a type of language in any sphere of human activity, regards language in the aspect of differentiation and modification in the basic speech varieties. It is not by chance that text samples from different areas of communication are used in frequency dictionaries. Understanding style as a way to integrate speech performance first put forward the questions of the compositional-semantic organization of the text, the realization of its categories, constructive principles, and techniques. In functional stylistics studies the two main areas – the use of language and the organization of a speech performance – are analyzed as complementary, but cohesion requires understanding the regularities of the functioning of language units in a text with many objectives, updated in texts of the given sphere. To resolve this problem, it is reasonable to rely on the notion of speech genres, each of which is a sequence of standard cognitive-communicative actions – structural elements acting as an object in the text of spiritual socio-cultural activities. The analysis of these actions has revealed and systematized lexical units in communicative composition of language material (Gasparov 2010). This text-centered study of functioning of lexical and other means is of interest not only for the theory of style (and, more broadly, in speech study), but also to practice learning the language in its functional varieties.

Opis:
The title nostalgia in Andrei Tarkovsky’s film is evoked by the Russian writer’s longing for his family and homeland. It is activated in his contact with another culture, in this case with Italian culture. This paper attempts to provide an analysis of the mechanisms used by the director to make a projection of this emotional state and to portray it in the film. A number of intersemiotic relations among visual, verbal and sound codes were analysed. The following relations were identified: complementarity, parallelism and contradiction. The provided examples show the significance of the visual code as an indicator of cultural otherness. They also prove the diversity of stylistic devices used for transposing emotional states to the physical world.

Opis:
The article deals with the phenomenon of “quality time” in the modern mass culture at the beginning of the 21st century. One of the most notable trends is the use of interactivity in creating cinematic works and computer games. Interactive storytelling allows the spectator/player to choose options for the development of the action and thus independently build the plot of the game film. Such involvement in creating a work of mass culture is an exciting new way to occupy the recipient’s time qualitatively. The variability and artistic potential of interactive cinema are discussed based on the example of one of the most popular computer games of recent years – “Detroit: Become Human” (2018) from the French studio “Quantic Dream”.

The paper focuses on computer games addiction and its prevention. Types of addiction are shown. The relevance of addictive behavior prevention is revealed. Forms of addictive behavior are discussed. Computer games classification is presented. Positive and negative effects of computerization of primary schools are described. RPG - role playing games are analyzed as the most dangerous from the point of view of addiction. Characteristics of gambling addiction beginning (game addiction) among primary school children are considered. Attention to the computer games effect on children’s personality development is paid in the article. Symptoms of computer games addiction are described. Addiction levels are shown. Recommendations concerning addiction prevention are given.

Wzajemne kontakty przedstawicieli różnych kultur często prowadzą do powstania trudności komunikacyjnych. W artykule podjęto próbę zweryfikowania gry językowej, która w procesie komunikacji międzykulturowej odzwierciedla niepowtarzalność języka i kultury narodowej. Autorzy, w oparciu o podejście lingwistyki kulturowej, proponują różnorodne formy i sposoby pracy dydaktycznej z wykorzystaniem dowcipów, zagadek, anegdot i aforyzmów. W rezultacie przeprowadzonych badań powstał szereg różnorodnych ćwiczeń dydaktycznych, które pomagają zrozumieć sens i istotę gry językowej. Jednocześnie zaproponowane zadania zostały skonstruowane w taki sposób, aby pomagały uczącym się rozwijać kompetencję międzykulturową, ponieważ jej opanowanie pozwala unikać trudności w relacjach z przedstawicielami innych języków i kultur.
Mutual contacts between representatives of different cultures often lead to communication difficulties. The article attempts to verify language games which in the process of intercultural communication reflect the uniqueness of the national language and culture. The authors, on the basis of the cultural linguistic approach, offer various forms and ways of didactic work using jokes, puzzles, anecdotes and aphorisms. Teaching to understand the meaning of language games, which occupy an important place in everyday language contacts, using them in learning and teaching a foreign language, helps learners develop intercultural competence. Mastering them allows the avoidance of difficulties in relations with representatives of other languages and cultures.
