The article deals with the fundamental concepts of Buddhism – samsara and nirvana, explains their etymology, and application in the philosophy of Mahayana Buddhism. Our conception is fundamentally different from the former one because we start from the fundamental relative equilibrium, as though we shield all the previous levels of the world, about which we know nothing. All existing processes are balanced by appropriate “limiting boundary surface”. Beyond the unknown world remain the fundamental equilibrium quantities that are responses to that part of the world that is around us. The formula of the natural coordinate system is as follows. “One should identify two unequal parts in the real world. On the one hand, these dynamic equilibria are united in interrelated chains. The equilibria were created by the same laws at all levels of organization of the world. One could identify all the other non-equilibrium processes and phenomena on the other hand”. Any natural formation interactions with the dynamic equilibria are based on the fact that all natural formations tend to limit the fundamental equilibrium that is unreachable. In the article we consider the ontological levels of the world, which are comparable to “vacuum, inertial systems, thermodynamic equilibria, spirituality”, equilibrium parameters of which are well identified. “A man of networks” – is the nearest stage of human and mankind evolution, this is the only way for the mankind to maintain its real existence.

The article comprises the analysis of the metaphorical field 'Appearance' in the Russian and Polish languages. In this respect, the authoress singles out the subgroups which are productively enriched by figurative naming units. It is emphasized, among other things, that figurative naming units are regular not in naming vitally important human organs, but in the nomination of those parts of the body which reveal diversity from one human to another and can be evaluated from the point of view 'attractive / unattractive'. The contrastive analysis in the linguocultural aspect leads to the conclusion that representatives of both ethnic groups demonstrate a more or less homotypic ideal of a good-looking person. The differences are related to the degree of spread of certain types of appearances among the Russian and the Polish. The special attention is given to the fact that evaluative image-metaphor is concentrated mainly in the high-flown or, vice versa, in the low colloquial styles of speech, in which the expressive function is a dominant one. It is also of the great importance that, regardless the styles of speech, metaphors in both languages are formed by the same models, largely homotypic in the languages in question. The usage of the specific metaphorical naming units is connected with the cultural characteristics of the two nations as well as with their specific perception of the world as a whole.

Artistic space, presented in the story Kabala by A. Potyomkin, can be seen in various hypostases. The real, ethereal and ill-fated areas of the imagination of the main character connect with his opium dependence. Parfirchikov’s imagination is tightly connected with nostalgia, which manifests itself in the escape from the real world into the dreamed space of his inner world. Every character’s transformation from one space into another takes place after the dose of drug is taken by him.

This article is devoted to the basic theme „The ways of expressing the picture of the world in language”. In modern research, the usage of the expressions “the world image” and “picture of the world” is very urgent and topical. Language is closely connected with thinking, though is not identical with it. Each language has its own way of the expression of surrounding reality which is expressed in general national and specific systems of views for all its speakers. This leads to the formation of the unique national linguistic picture of the world, common for the whole community. The word “forest” occupies an important place in our consciousness; it implements a generic meaning of “nature” and has similar meanings in Russian and Polish linguistic pictures of the world. There exist some meanings of this word in Russian and Polish: a terrain overgrown with trees, a certain living creature, and construction material. Thus the word “forest” has an identical combinability in the related languages.

G. Gachev’s book Russia’s neighbours Poland, Lithuania, Estonia continues the author’s reflections on peculiarities of the national world of different peoples. The basic concepts in the system of G. Gachev’s national world are Cosmos, Psyche, Logos. Important coordinates – Space and Time, Gonia (created by Nature, genesis) and Urgia (created by Labour), male and female origins, vertical and horizontal, the hierarchy of four elements. The researcher reconstructs the national world of Poland substantiating on these universal categories. First of all he introduces the concepts „polskost” and „polstvo”. The first one belongs to spiritual sphere, the second is the unity of material and corporal.

There are two main aspects in Chekhov’s stories about children: perception of the world by a child and perception of children’s world by adults. Chekhov shows the moments in the life of children which let to reveal problems that arise because the grown-ups don’t understand the world of child, so children collide with the world of adults, not seldom alien and incomprehensible for them. Children don’t accept insincerity, cruelty, indifference, therefore they are often lonely and defenseless. Thinking about children, Chekhov thought about grown-up problems which became painful for him: about awkward, abnormal life, about mercenary spirit and love of gain that are the bane of people’s life. And at the same time - this is the circle of his thoughts about beauty, created by human and nature, about free and happy people, about possibility of happiness in itself.

Language determines the process of cognition. Any process of cognition is the interpretation of the world through language. Emotions are one of the ways of not only reflecting, but also interpreting and evaluating the reality. One of the most fundamental and important emotions is the emotion of fear, sometimes called the motivational basis of human consciousness. The frequency of emotion words in discourse is one of the basic indices of changes taking place in modern reality and society. The present article attempts to analyse the linguistic realization of the concept of fear in the language of the press. The analysis is based on examples from press texts which represent modern Russian- American political relations. The analysis of the language of the press provides the basis for the presentation of the main sources of both real and imagined fear.

This article assumes the introduction into scientific circulation of one of the rare items of the early medieval defensive weapons - a armoured glove. Details of the mitten and fibula are found in the Sochi district of the Krasnodar Region near the village of Lesnoye. Published items come from the amateur illegal excavations of the early 2000s, but are currently in the funds of the State Historical Museum in Moscow. In the note are drawings and photographs of things, as well as data of spectral analysis of the metal. Judging by the dating of the buckle from the destroyed complex, the findings should be attributed to the second half of the 6th century CE.

The article compares three linguistic zoomorphic pictures of the world – Chinese, Japanese and Indian. It deals with zoometaphors, which are inconsistent with the principle of ascending from the abstract to the concrete, but realize the prototypical effect, presenting some characteristics by concrete notions. These metaphors are of great importance in the process of human thinking as they perform the evaluative-expressive and aesthetic functions of language. They express some social types and standards of human behavior, evaluate both extrinsic characteristics and intrinsic features of the person. The more distant the cultural areas are, the more differences are present in linguistic zoomorphic pictures of the world.

Postnonclassical ontology focuses on fundamental systems, stable network and integral covers integrating all aspects of the spiritual life. Currently, postnonclassical philosophy of ontology usually manifests itself through the scientific picture of the world - a holistic image of the object of scientific research in its major system - structural characteristics, formed by basic notions, concepts and principles of science at every stage of its historical development. The three stages: the first scientific revolution based on the principles of classical mechanics, the second - based on probabilistic concepts to describe the physical, biological and technical worlds, and - the third, currently emerging are investigated, this third - in more detail. The scientific picture of the world in contemporary philosophy, is also investigated in a more narrow sense, as a disciplinary ontology, representing the type of scientific theoretical knowledge in the special sciences. If natural science disciplinary ontology developed well enough, then this process in the humanitarian sphere is only beginning to emerge. The necessity of these scientific pictures of the world and the corresponding methodology are considered.
