    W artykule przedstawiono istotne przesłanki podjęcia badań w zakresie możliwości zakłócania odbiorników pracujących w sieci GSM-R przez sygnały stacji bazowych operatorów sieci publicznych w Polsce. W poszczególnych rozdziałach opisano skalę zjawiska interferencji na przykładzie doświadczeń innych krajów UE, typy zakłóceń oraz kryteria stanowiące podstawę do identyfikacji miejsc potencjalnych zakłóceń. Wyszczególniono przypadki sprzyjające powstawaniu określonych rodzajów zakłóceń. W podsumowaniu i wnioskach przedstawiono prewencyjne zalecenia innych krajów w zakresie eliminacji zakłóceń sieci GSM-R oraz działań, które mogą być zastosowane w polskich warunkach.
    The article presents the essential premises for undertaking research in the evaluation of the possibility of GSMR receivers interference with the base stations of the public networks’ operators in Poland. The following sections deal with the scale of interference problem based on the experiences of other EU countries, types of interference influencing GSM-R receivers and the criteria underlying the identification of potential interference. In the second part of the article cases conducive to the appearance of certain types of interference are specified. In the final part of the article recommended preventive measures used by other countries to eliminate interference of GSM-R network with public networks and the activities that can be used in Polish conditions are presented.

    „Dziennik Bydgoski” to jedyna polska gazeta, która ukazywała się w Bydgoszczy na początku XX w., kiedy to miasto było silnie germanizowane. Celem gazety było podtrzymywanie tożsamości narodowej Polaków. Artykuł ten ukazuje, jak „Dziennik Bydgoski” kształtował wizerunek polskich i niemieckich mieszkańców miasta, a tym samym jak wpływał na ich wzajemne relacje. Gazeta oficjalnie podtrzymuje stereotyp złego Niemca i prześladowanego Polaka, ale jednocześnie ukazuje rzeczywiste więzi łączące reprezentantów obu narodów – wspólne doświadczenia kulturowe oraz styl życia.
    “Dziennik Bydgoski” is the only Polish newspaper that appeared in Bydgoszcz at the beginning of the 20th century when the city was strongly Germanized. The goal of the newspaper was to maintain the national identity of Poles. This article shows how “Dziennik Bydgoski” shaped the image of Polish and German residents of the city and how it influenced their relations. The newspaper offi cially upholds the stereotype of the evil German and the persecuted Pole but at the same time it showed real ties connecting representatives of two nations – common lifestyle and cultural experience.

Rozważania podjęte w treści artykułu odnoszą się zarówno do pojęcia tożsamości niezwiązanej z miejscem, jak również do kilku wybranych miejsc w Polsce południowo-wschodniej.
    The article attempts to illustrate the essence of the influence of several key factors on the identity of place through the evocation of specific spaces. The most essential components evoked are time, ‑place, landscape, memory, sound: their mutual coexistence creates, in our understanding, an image that, despite our fixed idea, is constantly changing in situ. The reflections undertaken in the content of this article refer both to the notion of identity not linked to any given place and to a few selected places in south-eastern Poland.

    The text considers the possibility of functioning of the philosophy of coexistence supported by Stanisław Vincenz  the author of Na wysokiej połoninie (On the high meadow) in the perspective of postwar Polish-Jewish relations. He does that in reference to widely treated historical context  (from the 1940s up to the present times) noting that postwar Polish-Jewish relations are of extremely complex character and are realized between selfless friendship, at times even heroism and xenophobia and aggressive antisemitism. The text also mentions the criteria of strangeness/hostility and familiarity functioning between both nations. The conclusion of the text is a well-argumented statement that in the present Polish reality practical realization of Vincenz’s philosophy showing equality and equality of values in mutual interethnic relations is difficult, however, in the future perspective and „long lasting” (understood in accordance with the intention of Ferdinand Braudel) is not impossible and desired indeed.

    Th e genesis of the development of family and its members in built on family life. In Slovakia the emphasis was laid on the phenomenon of sociability, having common family events and on collective work. Th e data have confi rmed that in spite of accelerated tempo and work load, in spite of the assaults of modern day alienation, the common life has not completely disappeared from our families. Common moments are still one part of our family life.
    Geneza rozwoju rodziny i jej członków w oparciu o życie rodzinne. Na Słowacji nacisk położony został na zjawisko wspólnoty towarzyskiej, wspólnie obchodzonych imprez rodzinnych i na pracy zbiorowej. Dane potwierdzają, że mimo wzrostu tempa życia i większego obciążenia pracą, mimo ataków współczesnej alienacji, wspólne życie nie zniknęło całkowicie z naszych rodzin. Wspólne chwile są nadal jedną z części naszego życia rodzinnego.

    Józef Supiński (1804–1893), polski naukowiec, ekonomista, filozof, socjolog, w obrębie stworzonej w drugiej połowie XIX wieku teorii społeczno-ekonomicznej, uwypuklił kwestie związane z handlem, postrzeganym w kontekście cywilizacyjnym. W artykule przybliżono ich istotę i specyfikę. Supiński podkreślał cywilizacyjną rolę handlu, jego korzystny wpływ na wzrost wielkości produkcji i kapitału społecznego. Handel, będąc w pełni ludzkim tworem, humanizuje relacje społeczne, ogranicza różne formy przemocy, umożliwia pokojowe współistnienie. Jest także spoiwem łączącym jednostki w strukturę społeczeństwa.
    Józef Supiński (1804–1893), Polish scientist, economist, philosopher, sociologist within the socio-economic theory created in the second half of the 19th century highlighted issues related to trade, perceived in the context of civilization. The article presents their essence and specificity. Supiński emphasized the civilization role of trade, its beneficial influence on the increase in production and social capital. Trade, being a fully human creation, humanizes social relations, limits various forms of violence, and enables peaceful coexistence. It is also the glue that binds individuals together into the fabric of society.

    Opis:
    The current year was declared as the International Year of Historic Monument Protection 1975 with a particular emphasis on problems connected with protection of architectural objects and sites as well as on rehabilitation of ancient towns and their historic centres. As one of the chief subjects within the present campaign has been put forward that of harmonious co-existence of both historic and modern architecture, i.e. creation of such objects which in the future could be covered with protection. To participation in the above campaign were invited all European countries in which for a longer period of time are already existing their respective National Committees of the European Year of Historic Monument Protection. Among those leading is to be mentioned the problem of towns and ancient urban centres and a good deal of very important proposals has been advanced in this range as, for instance, those concerning rehabilitation, controlling of the new building on historic sites, removing of motorised traffic from their areas and the like. As a general outline for all actions and measures to be undertaken during the International Year has been adopted the idea of their later permanent conservation. In this country the International Year of Historic Monument Protection is just coinciding with the end of a thirty-year period of the post-war activities in the field of safeguarding of historic monuments. On the initiative of the ICOMOS Committee in Poland the Voluntary Committee of the International Year of Historie Monument Protection, 1975 has been called into being, headed by Professor Dr. Stanisław Lorentz and Dr. K. Pawłowski acting as its Secretary General. The range of activities of the above Committee will comprise the monuments other than architectural, too. Active are already tho Regional Committees in which much work is being carried out by the Voivodship Conservators and representatives of local authorities. Already in 1974 a series of international meetings took place in Poland. Within the programme of scientific research, conservator’s investigations and inventorying with tho Chief Conservator are co-opei’ating the Committee of Architecture and Townplanning, Polish Academy of Sciences and the Historical Monuments Documentation Centre, Warsaw. Numerous all-country and regional conferences will be held this year dealing with various aspects of historic monument protection and the role played by them in procoss of shaping of the social consciousness. It is planned that a number of the Chief Conservator’s prizes will bo awarded to students in the field of monument protection and conservation for tho best diploma works covoring theso subjects. It is expectod that a highly valuable role will also be played in many actions and projects by the Union of the Polish Scout-Boys and Scout-Girls and that equally fruitful will prove the co-operation between the Association of Historians of Art and the youth organizations. An extensive programme of activities has been adopted by the Polish Touring Society within which special Committee for Protection of Cultural Heritage is activo for many years. No less important within tho rango of the planned activities will be tho voluntary actions and services for tho sake of cultural heritage rendered by the Polish handicraftsmen. As another field of activities is to be quoted hero tho popularization of problems of historic monument protection among tho widest circles of Polish community. It is planned that in 1975 a number of tho so-called model realizations will be carried out and among them tho adaptation of an ancient castle at Niedzica which has to bo tinned into a home for tho creatively working art historians, the protection of the landscapo and urban complex at Kazimierz on Vistula, tho rehabilitation of the Old Town districts in Cracow and Zamość as well as that of castles at Krasiczyn and Wiśnicz. The complete programme of the International Year of Historic Monument Protection will be presented in a special publication.
