    The aim of this article is to show the meaning of the central role and the place of the new theory of vision in Berkeley’s philosophy. Apart from its value in explaining the phenomenon of visual perception it is important in bringing God closer to the life of men, which was the aim of Berkeley’s thought. The visual language which is gradually revealed as a part of the new theory of vision influences human seeing and understanding of the world and their organization of moral life.

    Opis:
    The aim of the paper is to compare the formal organization of a visual message with the rhetorical devices used in verbal expression. This analysis is carried out based on the example of the sculpture Dual by Zbigniew Władyka. Creativity found in the rhetorical devices used in the sculpture Dual to trigger and amplify feelings proves that they can be used even in this form of artistic expression. Creativity in the analysed sculpture is represented by the unification of Germany, reflected in the form of the transformation of two characters into one. The sculpture is meant to inspire, to be an object (res) directing the viewer toward personal reflection, and invoking projections of fear and doubt, but also of confidence and courage. Confidence and courage are represented by a strong figure with a head, firmly standing on her feet. Fear and doubt are represented by a weak figure, carried by the first one. The centripetal composition used in the sculpture suggests merger rather than destruction. The sensory perception of the viewer is controlled by directional tensions, which lead the viewer’s sight along designated linear directions. As described earlier by S. Witkiewicz, directional tensions and motionless substance correspond to a rhetorical enlarging and diminishing. By interacting with the sculpture, you can experience these devices. Not only visualization is at work here, as in verbal communication, but also physical experience. The presented analysis shows that a sculptural work of art can be analysed in a similar way to verbal communication. Of course, not all verbal devices have their counterparts in visual communication, but the basic content and emotions can be expressed regardless of the code.

    Nowadays still not well known, Konrad Fiedler was an extremely original philosopher of art and an inspiring follower of Kant. He created a theory of art’s autonomy and his pioneering thought contributed not only to the formalist theory of art but also and foremost to creating an epistemology that later became a foundation of theories of art stressing the uniqueness of seeing and raising the status of visual representations. The artistic way of seeing, according to him, undiscloses the principles of how the world emerges from nothingness of chaotic sensations – it is the way of seeing that presents „pure visibility”. According to Fiedler, this way of seeing is the basis of each true artistic creative act.

    There is a need to examine the theory of school as a social and educational institution. Far reaching aim of school science should be the rebirth of a man as a basic value in an intellectual, moral and cultural sense. School science should be interdisciplinary, multifunctional and polimethodological. An important task is to mark the current theories of educational hanges in school. Another important task is to present the future vision of school in which a vital role is played by the integration of three spheres: school, out-of-school and virtual.

    W artykule autorka omawia teorię Johna F. Haughta, który odcinając się od kreacjonizmu i krytykując materializm metafizyczny, stara się pogodzić ewolucjonizm z biblijną wizją świata. Rozważane są tutaj główne założenia teistycznego ewolucjonizmu Haughta: hierarchiczna wizja świata, która wraz z hierarchią wyjaśnień ma uzasadniać potrzebę łączenia teorii ewolucji z wiarą religijną; metafizyka przyszłości, która ma wyjaśniać problem teodycei; a także estetyczna zasada kosmologiczna, mająca stanowić alternatywę dla socjobiologii i dualizmu psychofizycznego w dziedzinie etyki i ekologii.
    Author discusses the theory proposed by John F. Haught who, cutting himself off from creationism and criticizing metaphysical materialism, tries to reconcile evolution with Biblical vision of the world. Considered here are the main suppositions of Haught’s theistic evolution: hierarchical vision of the world which in connection with hierarchy of explanations is supposed to account for necessity of combining the evolutionary theory with religious faith; metaphysics of the future which should explain theodicy problem; and aesthetic cosmological principle understood as an alternative to sociobiology and psychophysical dualism in the fields of ethics and ecology.

    Opis:
    Screenplay is a multifunctional project written by screenwriter or screenwriters for preparing next phases of film production. Changing and many times transformed forms of screenplay belong to the nature of screenwriting. Literary vision of film changes several times being result of synergy and typical work in progress: from general idea and high concept, through story, treatment, scalette, first draft and certain number of drafts, to final draft, director’s draft and shooting script. Marek Hendrykowski’s study describes and explains these terms as forms of literary film creation in three complementary aspects: creative re-vision, rewriting and remodeling.
