    Opis:
    On the basis of hydrographic maps in the scale 1:50,000, an inventory of crenological objects in the lower part of the Vistula basin up to the Drwęca river basin in the south was made. The total number of these objects in the analyzed area is 308, with the highest number of solid sources – 161, followed by leakages – 125 and periodic sources – 17. The total efficiency of all outflows is very low, as it was estimated at 0.075 m3∙s–1. The most efficient source reaches only 1.0 dm3∙s–1, and only a few 0.7 dm3∙s–1.

    Opis:
    An issue of mean residence time (MRT) evaluation, i.e. the period of time from rainfall until drainage of groundwater by rivers (Danube River Basin, Vistula River Basin and Narew River Basin), is discussed Asimple method of evaluating the groundwater MRT for the Danube River Basin based on tritium data is introduced. It has been confirmed that the historical tritium level in the rivers, being higher than in precipitation, has its end and is reversed, opening a new pathway in understanding the surface-groundwater interaction and specifically in evaluating MRT of groundwater. The authors have defined a separate notification for mean residence time of the whole water in the basin (τ) and mean residence time for groundwater in the basin (τwp). Based on the tritium study the obtained τ values are 6.5 and 5.7 years for the Vistula River Basin (VRB) and the Narew River Basin (NRB), respectively. In turn, the obtained τwp values are 8.0 and 6.0 years, respectively. NRB is a lowland plain and a morphologically, geologically and hydrogeologically uniform basin. The obtained τ wp of groundwater is thus representative for the whole basin. Instead inmorphologically non uniform VRB basin groundwater τwp is a generalized value,i.e.averaged over contributed parts of the basin.

    Opis:
    The antagonism between Bydgoszcz and Torun is one of example of long – lived historical conflict. The position of the borders and turbulent economic development of the cities in the region with the progress of modern political and socio-economic conditions, determinate the cause divisions, still valid. Therefore, a historical relation between the two cities, the circumstances of their creation and development are an expression of diversified nature of the relationship Bydgoszcz and Torun. However, knowledge of the genesis this conflict is important for understanding the nature this peculiar neighborhood, and additionally it represents a significant share of the importance of the cognitive process of shaping the current political division in the region.
    Antagonizm Bydgoszczy i Torunia stanowi jeden z przykładów trwania sporu posiadającego wielowiekową historię. Pograniczne położenie oraz burzliwy rozwój gospodarczy miast regionu stanowią, w miar ę postępu współczesnych warunków politycznych oraz społeczno-gospodarczych, przyczyny podziałów, nietracących na aktualności. Dlatego historyczne związki obu miast, okoliczności ich powstania i rozwoju stanowią świadectwo niejednolitego charakteru wzajemnych relacji Bydgoszczy i Torunia. Jakkolwiek wiedza na temat genezy do dziś istniejącego antagonizmu bydgosko-toruńskiego posiada ważne znaczenie dla zrozumienia charakteru tego osobliwego sąsiedztwa, a dodatkowo stanowi istotny kapitał o znaczeniu poznawczym procesu kształtowania się aktualnych podziałów politycznych w regionie.
